Jin couldn't run and hide away from his parents forever, so he told them the sad news about him leaving.

He let them know that he was going to rent a house and live with Chanyeol for a while, which was a lie. In reality, the boy was going to live with Jungkook.

But, since he's had a brief history with Jungkook, he didn't want his parents to know he was going to live with him instead.

They would never approve of Jungkook.

~4 years ago~

Jin was in a park, running around in his fox form when he bumped into a tall, bushy tailed husky.

"OOF! Sorry!!" He started giggling when he noticed that the dog was also laughing.

"Hey! Wanna play?" The dog wigglee his thick tail, excited.

Jin agreed, nodding his head continuously. They started to run after each other's tails like
children playing tag.

The amount of freedom Jin felt was incredible.

Ever since then, Jin and Jungkook became best friends.

Not long after they met, Jin knew how much of a wild animal Jungkook could be.

He loves to be roaming town, filming videos. It was a hobby of his which kept him busy and gave him a lot of inspiration.

One day, Jungkook asked Jin if he wanted to film outside with him. Jin didn't hesitate in agreeing to film with his best buddy, but what he did hesitate in was asking his parents if he could go outside with Jungkook.

So the husky ended up asking permission from his parents for Jin.

"Please, we promise we won't be out late! Please! Please! Please! Pl-"

"Ah! Alright, then. But just stop asking, please!!" They ended up laughing at Jungkook's goofiness.

Back then, Jin's parents found Jungkook to be very hyper and full of energy; just like Jin himself, only twice as energetic as he was.

When they headed outside, Jungkook kept telling Jin to take pictures farther and farther away from his house.

Jin mindlessly kept on moving away, not knowing that he would end up in the city.

"Jungkook, where are we!?"

"The city, baby!! Woo!" Now with all of the freedom in the world, Jin felt unsafe and even a little bit scared.

"You told my parents we wouldn't leave the house, you liar!" Jungkook laughed as Jin started to smack him everywhere around his back.

"Noooooo, I told them that we 'wouldn't be out late' what I didn't tell them was that we wouldn't be out IN THE TOWN. Bwahaha." Jungkook's laughter brought a frown to Jin's face.

"JK, this isn't funny!! I'm going to get in trouble because of you." He pouted, attempting to walk back.

"Hey, hey, hey! Don't go. Come on, it'll be fine. We'll be back before you know it. Besides, your parents won't suspect a thing, Jinnie!" Jin should have walked back home, but he didn't.

"Well... Alright."

And that's how the two youngsters ended up getting back home at 9 o'clock at night, from 1:00 PM, when they first left the house in the afternoon.

After that, Jin's parents got so mad, they banned Jin from seeing Jungkook and even moved away so that they wouldn't see each other anymore.

Ever since then, Jin and Jungkook hadn't seen each other up until now.

Now, Jin was stuck in the middle of living with Jungkook or living on his own.

He knew that he wouldn't be able to live alone, especially with the condition he was in now that he needed someone by his side to support him.

And if he lives on his own, he runs the risk of being found by his parents easily. If he stays
with Jungkook, then the risk of being found becomes almost impossible for Jin.

"Okay.. Let's do it." He and Jungkook high-fived each other, agreeing to live together.

Jungkook's house renovations were being completed today, so while they were being done, Jin stayed in the motel room, having breakfast with him.

"Hey, look! I can make milk come out of my nose." Jungkook took a full sip of his drink and transformed back into a dog, letting the milk run down his nose.

Jin softly began to laugh at Jungkook, forgetting about all of his sadness in that moment.

Jungkook smiled widely, feeling accomplished as he continued to eat his food.

Jin didn't feel hungry at first, but his friend had encouraged him to eat and he couldn't say no.

He ended up finishing his breakfast before Jungkook did.

Despite being unmotivated to eat, his hunger had over his body to a point of where Jin couldn't help but eat every last bite.

Now that the boys had eaten, Jungkook helped Jin get dressed, then they both headed out.

The happy look on Jin's face had now vanished into a motionless, stone cold frown.

One that didn't express pain, it truly was pain itself.

The light outside was bright enough to blind anyone, yet the fox simply didn't see it.

To him, the days had turned into night. There was no such thing as the word 'sun' in his vocabulary any longer.

Ever since Namjoon died, he took Jin's life along with him, leaving the boy with no hope in ever finding happiness ever again.

It also didn't help that they were in the same parking lot of that night. All that Jin wanted to do was leave the haunting place already, so that his mind would at least find peace and not rush back to the memories of what Namjoon and him once were.

It's funny to think how deeply in love one person can be with their significant other, then
lose them after planning your future ahead of time.

Time was another word Jin couldn't bear with at the moment.

Because of time, Namjoon and Jin's relationship fell apart.

"If I could turn back time, where should we go back to?

Once we reach that place, can all of our mistakes and errors be undone?

...Will happiness be ours to stay?"

Jin was snapped out of trance for a moment, hearing a familiar trying to get to him for what would appear a third time.

"Jin Hyung, are you even listening?" He apologized to the tall, hooded boy, asking him to repeat his question once more as he turned away from the parking lot.

"Come on, let's go home, okay?"

"Home..." Jin looked up at Jungkook, following him to his car once more.

As he was about to get inside of the car, he felt a cool breeze run through his skin.

The boy tilted his head up, closing the car door. He stayed outside, staring at the sky with only a single thought on his mind:

"Namjoon... Can you see me?"
