3 🐺

When he arrived home, he thanked his parents for everything and went upstairs to undress himself and change into his pajamas. By the time they got back, it was 7:30 PM, so Namjoon thought of showering before changing into his clothes, that way he won't have to worry about it later on.

He likes to sing in the bathroom whenever he gets inside of the shower. It's so relaxing for him, especially when the water is running down his body so rapidly.

"Namjoon, don't take too long!! You just ate and you could get indigestion! Okay?" Namjoon shouted back, reassuring his mom that he wouldn't take long. He finished in under ten minutes and dried himself off, walking towards his room.

His first instinct was to check his phone that was charging on his bedside table. To his surprise, it was completely charged, from 3 percent that it had before, so he disconnected it and suddenly received a notification.

"Kim Seokjin has accepted your friend request." He couldn't believe what he just read.

"Kim Seokjin?" He gasped. "Oh no. I probably sent him a friend request on accident!" He banged his head against the wall, out of embarrassment.

"What was that! Namjoon, are you okay up there!!" His mother yelled from downstairs.

"I sent him a request!!" Namjoon mindlessly responded, confusing both of his parents.

They ignored what Namjoon had said, thinking he was talking to someone over the phone, yet they remained curious as to why their son was shouting out of nowhere, by himself in his room.

"Okay, maybe it's not that bad. I can always unfriend him... Right?" Namjoon thought to himself.

But there was just one thing stopping him from doing so...

[Incoming call from Kim Seokjin]

Namjoon felt his body spasm from his own nerves while he was obligated to answer the call.

"Jin, I'm so sorry. I was searching through my page and accidentally sent you a request." Without properly greeting him, Namjoon explained everything to his neighbor who completely understood.

"It's okay, I understand! But, umm... Can I ask you something?" Namjoon relaxed, staring at Jin's face.

"Anything. What's up?" The man cleared his throat, eyeing Namjoon and avoiding eye contact with him at the same time.

"Why are you naked?" Namjoon traced his eyes up and down, staring at his body. He in fact was naked.

"I can explain- MOM!"

The sound of his door immediately opening alarmed him. He exited the app he was talking to Jin on, facing his mother who was in shock.

"How many times have I told you not to change in front of your phone, Namjoon!? That has a camera and anyone could easily stalk you through there!" Namjoon was beyond embarrassed.

What more could possibly happen to him? His mother closed the door behind her, locking it so Namjoon could have his privacy while changing.

Instead of changing, however, Namjoon shoved his face into a pillow to scream. His screams sounded like howls since, of course, he was a wolf. And when he's angry about something, rather it's with himself or someone else, he tends to let out his anger by screaming or punching something solid, like any normal human would do when they're mad.

But because of Namjoon's sharp wolf canine teeth, he ended up ripping his pillow to shreds. When he calmed down, he picked up his phone after changing into his casual wear, and sighed deeply.

His hair was ruffled up and very messy.

"Now Jin will think I'm a weirdo. Great job, Joonie. You ruin everything..." He spoke in third person, a little habit of his that he has.

"Why is this still blinking?" He gasped, seeing Jin's face. He hasn't hung up before like he thought he did.

Namjoon was ready to run out into the woods at this point.

"You didn't ruin anything, Namjoon. Don't be so hard on yourself, okay?" Namjoon didn't have the guts to say a word to him.

"And for the record," Jin smiled at the camera, "I think your ears look cute." Seems like Namjoon forgot to cover his ears up and exposed himself to the guy who was blushing at the screen.

"I was born like this." He frowned, feeling ashamed of himself.

"Don't be ashamed! But, may I ask... What type of hybrid are you?" Namjoon didn't have to answer, yet he did because he trusted the man enough to tell him the truth.

"I'm a wolf hybrid."

"Amazing!" He was stunned by Jin's reply, as he wasn't expecting that reaction from him.

"Really? You think so?"

"Of course, I do. Wolves are incredibly smart and protective." His words were very kind, sincere and charming to Namjoon. For a second, he forgot about everything that he just went through and spoke to Jin for a while more.

A while turned into five minutes, five minutes became twenty and before they knew it, Namjoon and Jin had spoken for a full two hours.

"Bedtime, Jinnie! You know what happens when you don't sleep well, dear!" Namjoon overheard Jin's mom talking about him. He didn't want to cause Jin any trouble with his parents, therefore, they said their goodbyes and hung up.

Namjoon put his phone down and thought about the conversation he just had with his neighbor, feeling his muscles relax. He realized that he had been tensing himself up the entire time they spoke, feeling silly about it.

The wolf just giggled to himself and did a free fall on his bed. Sleep took over his mind and body soon, making him yawn frequently before feeling his body become heavy.

Soon, his eyelids weighed on him and he ended up falling asleep.

~The Next Day~

The sunlight blinded Namjoon as he groaned, feeling defeated by it. He got up, rubbing his eyes. His bed wasn't even messed up because of how tired he was last night, the boy didn't even bother undressing his bed, he just fell asleep on it the minute he rested his body.

The first thing he did was check his phone, seeing how it kept on blinking. He found two messages from Jin.

Jin: [Good morning, Namjoon!! I was just wondering if you were free around lunchtime, I wanted to know if we could have lunch together <3]

Namjoon furrowed his eyebrows.

"A heart at the end of his sentence? That's quite forward." He thought.

Nonetheless, Namjoon smiled at his phone and began texting back.

Namjoon: [Good morning, Jin. I hope you slept well.] He paused to erase and rephrase his
text.

Namjoon: [Good morning, Jin! I'm definitely free for lunch, does 2:00 P.M. sound okay?]

He looked down at his phone to make sure he wrote everything correctly, then sent the message.

Jin immediately replied, as if he was waiting for Namjoon this whole time.

Jin: [Yes, sounds perfect!]

Namjoon: [Alright, see you then!] He watched as three tiny bubbles floated on the bottom right of his screen, meaning that Jin was texting him back.

Jin: [Bye! Bye!] He put his phone down and cleaned his room up before heading outside to brush his teeth and start his usual morning routine.

"I wonder what Jin does in the morning."
