Vineet was left baffled at Ruhana’s words. He followed her in his car.

Lifeline Hospital

Ruhana hurried towards the emergency ward. She found Rajat and Purvi standing outside. Rajat stopped her…

“Tum andar nahi ja sakti. Tumhari wajah se meri behen ki yeh haalat hai.” he said angrily.

“Dekhiye bhaiya…Mithi ki haalat ka zimmedar uska pati hai.” she said.

“ Lekin tumhari wajah se…..Na vineet tumse shadi karta, na yeh sab hota.” he said.

Ruhana sighed…”Zindagi toh meri bhi barbaad hui hai Bhaiya. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki mera pati vineet hai aur usne already mithi se shadi kar rakhi hai. Aur main doctor hoon. Mujhe andar jana hai...kuch nahi hoga aapki behen ko.” she shouted and moved inside the emergency ward.

Mithi was lying unconscious. She couldn’t bear the truth that came in front of her. She already had fear of loud voices.She was brought up in a pampered house by her father and brother. Also, she couldn’t bear what Vineet did with her. He opted other woman over her. She couldn’t imagine her life without Vineet. She was more in shock.

Ruhana was lost in her thoughts. She smeared her head. Her trance was broken by the nurse, who came with Mithi’s reports. Something shocked her.

“Tumne thik se test kiye hai na?” she asked the nurse.

“Yes Ma’am. Sandhya ma’am ne jaise kaha humne aise hi kiya.” she replied.

“Where is Dr.Sandhya??” she asked.

“Ma’am round pe hain. Aati hongi wo.” nurse replied.

“Okay. tum jao. Mujhe inka checkup karna hai.” she said.

The nurse nodded and left.

Ruhana checked her up and read the reports. What shocked her was a mild heart attack, that had affected Mithi. Also, there was an injury in her head, which made her more scared. She knew she was weak, but she never thought her friend would be this weak to react this way. Meanwhile Rajat entered in.He ws about to question Ruhana when DrSandhya entered in and asked him to wait outside.

Ruhana glanced at her…”Sandhya, check the reports once. “

Sandhya held Ruhana’s hands. …”Ruhana , i know what’s bothering you. She suffered a minor heart attack and also traumatic brain injury. Something has deeply affected her. She has to be taken out of the trauma. We have to keep her here. “ she said.

Ruhana nodded….”Thanks Sandhya….and thanks for informing me. “ she said.

“ Tum yahin rehna. Maybe she’ll repsond.” she said.

Ruhana nodded. Mithi was shifted to a seperate room. A worried Rajat confronted Ruhana….

“ Hua kya hai meri behen ko?” He asked.

“She’s fine bhaiya. She’s in a state of shock . thik ho jayegi. Aap please chinta mat karo.” she informed.

“Kaise chhinta na karu. Teri wajah se uski yeh haalat hai.” he shoutedd.

“Rajat please shant ho jaiye. Ruhana ki koi galti nahi hai.” she said.

“Rehne do bhabhi. Meri toh kismat hi kharab hai. Aap log ghar jao. Main hu yahan mithi ke paas. WIll infrming you. “ She said and went inside the room.

She sat beside Mithi, when her phone rang. It was Manvi. She picked up the call

“Bolo Manvi”

“Bhabhi what happened?: sab thik hai na?” She asked.

Ruhana sighed…”Thik hi hai. Tumhare bhai ki galti ki saza meri dost ko bhugatni pad rahi hai. Bata dena usey ki Uski galti se Mithi ka ye haal hai. “ she said.

Manvi heard her and disconnected the call. She then looked at her brother…

“Yahan kya khade ho….jao jakar dekho aapke kaarnamon ka nateeja. Mithi ki jaan khatre mein hai….Ruhana bhabhi ko bina galti ke saza di aapne…...aur kya kya karoge??” she shouted on her brothher and rushed to her room.

Vineet hurried to the hospital But found Rajat there. Rajat was adamant enough to stay at the hospital. He couldn’t leave his little sister like that. Vineet was about to enter the room, when Rajat stopped him…

“Tum andr nahi ja sakte.” he said.

“Mujhe mithi se milna hai.” he replied

“Tumhari wajah se meri behen hospital mein hai. Tumhara dhokha bardasht nahi kar paayi wo. Kya kaha tha tumne, uski aankhon mein aansu nahi aane doge? Aaj dekho, tum hi uske dard ki wajah ho. Just get out. Usey shanti se yahan rehne do.” rajat shouted on him.

Vineet was teary eyed by now. He knew he was himself the reason for all the mess. He looked at rajat…

“I want to see her. Main….main vaada karta hoon ab aisa kuch nahi hoga.” he said.

“I donn’t believe you. Tum yahan se ja sakte ho. Tumhe talaak ke kaagaz mil jayenge.” he said firmly.

“Talaak!! Yeh aap kya keh rahe ho? Aap bhi jaante ho mithi aise nahi reh paayegi. I love her.” he said.

“Kaisa pyar hai tumhara?? Meri behen yahan behosh padi hai….tum par mujhse zyada vishwas kiya tha usne...yeh sila diya tumne??? Sachcha pyar karte toh yeh sab nahi hota” he said.

“Main usse pyar karta hoon. Please mujhe milne do.” he said , his eyes teary.

Ruhana came out of the room and saw him.

“Bhaiya please aap jaiye. I will make sure ki Mithi bilkul thik ho. Aur rahi talaak ki baat , toh wo bhi ho jayega. Mujhpe vishwas rakhiye...i will take care of everything. Aur tum Vineet...please jao yahan se. Mithi se tum abhi nahi mil sakte” she said firmly.

“Par Ruhana!!” he said.

“Main doctor hoon. Mujhe Mithi ko thik karna hai, maut ke muh mein nahi daalna. Please go back. Tumhe tumhari amanat sahi salamt lauta dungi.abhi jao yahan se...for god’s sake.” she said.

Vineet sighed and left.

Singhaniya House...

Asha was sitting  in her room. Ruhana and Vineet’s words were echoing in her ears..Vandana entered inside and switched on the light ..

“Ab pachhtaye hot kya jab chidiya chug gayi khet..” She said…

Asha turned towards her…”Aap kya kehna chahte hai maa?” She asked..

“Asha yeh sab tumhari wajah se ho raha hai..Vineet us din kucch bolna chahta tha par humne ek baar nahi suna...Kyun??” Vandana said with some anger in her voice.…

“Maa kehna kya chahti hai ke yeh sab meri galti hai? Galti Vineet ki hai kya zaroorat thi use chhip kar us ladki se shadi karne ki…” She shouted at her mother in law.

“Chillane ki zaroorat nahi hai..Main saas hu tumhari, beta nahi ke drama karogi aur main  pighal jaoongi...Tumhari wajah se teen zindagiya khraab ho gayi..” she said

“Maine kuch nahi kiya jo kiya us ladki ne kiya...hamare bete ko hi hamare khilaaf kar diya. “ Asha said.

Manvi entered inside...” Bas karo maa aap unhe dosh nahi de sakti...Agar galti kisi ki hai toh aapki aur Vineet bhaiya ki hai..Aapne unki baat nahi suni aur bhaiya apne pyar ke liye stand na le sake….Woh bechari toh maut ke muh mein padi hai.  Vineet bhaiya ka cheat bardasht nahi kar payi woh..Bhagwaan na kare use kuch ho varna us sab ke responsible aap aur aapka beta hoga…” Manvi shouted in anger..

Asha gave her a shocking look…Manvi continued….

”Aiise mat dekho. Aapko pata hai bhaiya toh shadi wale din hi chale gaye they. Ruhana bhabhi ko aapki chinta thi. Bhaiya ne unhe kya kuch nahi kaha….but wo sehti rahi….kyunki wo aapki tarah nahi hai..s.abka sochti hain. Aaj bhi wo apna nahi aapka aur bhaiya ka sochti hai...aur aap logon ne kya kiya?? Bhaiya mere ideal they...but jab wo apne liye, apne pyar ke liye kuch na bol sake toh mere liye kya bolenge….Aapki hi zidd thi na ….ab bhugto. Bhaiya ki wajah se Mithi aur bhabhi..dono takleef mein hai...sirf aapki wajah se.

“Sahi keh rahi hai Manvi..tum logo ne shadi ka mazak bana diya hai...Ruhana aur Mithi dono ko hi sza mil rahi hai...Mithi ne jisse pyar kiya usne use dhokha diya aur Ruhana jiske bharose is ghar mein aayi usne hi use kahin ka nahi chhoda. Meri parvarish mein hi koi kami reh gayi hogi ki aapne aur aapki aulad ne yeh sab kiya” Vandana said and left the room with manvi.
