5) effy wants to cancel the sun

That bright light in the sky people loved? Over-fucking-rated. A quote from Effy. Effy hated the sun. Sun meant docs and leather jackets aren't appropriate, so she switched them for converse and a tattered denim jacket she stole like two years ago.

Jessica believed Effy needed more sun, and when the stupidly hot ball came out she would make her come outside. Effy would lie her head on the table and be oh-so dramatic.

This time, Bella Swan joined them. She much like Jessica liked the sun — Effy believed they were possessed. Only freaks and losers wanted to be sweaty and warm. The girl had practically drowned herself in deodorant and she was still worried she'd sweat.

Bella looked around the outside area, trying to find a particular person. The two quote-on-quote friends of hers noticed.

"The Cullen's don't do the sun." Effy explained - she couldn't blame them. Effy would rather smash her face in then be outside in the heat, yet here she was with Jessica in the heat. "They go camping instead."

Bella looked at the sulking teenager. "What, do they just ditch?"

"Well, do you see them here?" Effy spoke giving the brunette a look. Her own brown hair was very close to its natural blonde colour (much to her sisters happiness) with the only stubborn patches of faded clout. "They do stuff instead, like I said: camping and hiking and whatever the fuck else they do."

Angela rushed over to the three. "Guys! I'm going to the prom with Eric."

Effy lifter her head and wrapped her arms around her friend. "Tell me everything." She muttered, swiping Angela's cold bottle from her bag.

"I just asked him, I took control."

"So proud." Effy pulled away from her friend, allowing her to hug Bella instead.

"Are you sure you have to go out of town?"

"Oh, yeah, it's a little family thing."

Jessica angled her head up from the sun, desperate to get some sort of tan. "Okay, we should go shopping in Port Angeles, before all the good dresses get cleaned out."

The bell rang. The students began to pack up there stuff.

Bella looked at Jessica. "Port Angeles? You mind if I come?"

The three agreed to let their new 'friend' join them. Effy's wasn't the biggest Bella fan, but the more people the less likely they were to be attacked by creepy men — or so she hoped.
