This week has been a pretty crappy week, Rosalie. Not just for you but for me as well. I haven't had the time to watch you as much as I would have liked and tonight has to be the icing on the cake.

You were pacing in you room, wondering about your mental state after listening in on your parents discussing your grandmother's schizophrenia and I had been relishing the sight. I finally had you where I wanted, you were starting to believe you were crazy.

I wanted to appear to confirm your every doubt. I wanted to hold you in my arms and whisper into your ears sweet nothings because as much as this needs to happen, it must suck to be in your position right now.

Because the truth is your grandmother was diagnosed as a schizophrenic but you are not the same. Every 'hallucination' you've had has been me and I am very much real, Rosalie. This is the game we play with all our victims in the mental health rotation.

I know you are aware of Sally Morden and she was in the same exact boat as you are in now. I didn't kill her though, it was someone else's turn but the process was the same. We made her admit that she was seeing things, made them believe she was crazy and then we killed her.

Sometimes I wondered what you would think if I admitted all these things to you personally. Would you hate me, Rosalie? I know I would. Too bad you will never find out, you will die before you ever realize our true existence; vampires hiding behind the screens manipulating your every move to our whim and fancy.

I was sitting on the tree outside your window, watching you have a nervous breakdown when I received a call from my so called 'parents'. Apparently they have some alarming news to share with me that absolutely cannot wait.

Sometimes they really get on my nerves, Rosalie. I guess I'll have to see you later. I made my way back home and was surprised to see a small group gathered around the cemetery near my house. I kept my head down but something caught my attention and I looked up at the dark looming spikes of the entrance gate.

It was dark, too dark for a normal human to see but I could smell blood. Lot's of it. This can't be good. I could hear the regular human police sirens approaching from a distance and briefly wondered if this was what Aymen called me about.

Aymen and Martha filled me in as soon as I got home. Apparently Sally Morden's brother had committed suicide by the cemetery. He uploaded a video online telling people where to find his body and my guess was the blood by the cemetery gate belonged to him.

"Show me the video." They placed the phone in my hands and I watched a young Joseph Morden admit that his sister was stalked and murdered. He then told his viewers where to find him at 12 midnight.

"What time is it?" I looked at my watch and it was already 12.10am.

The two vampires were staring at me in fright, shifting on their feet and squeezing their hands together.

"What should we do? Will this implicate the council? Will we get in trouble for not managing this properly?" It's clear this was the first time they had encountered such trouble.

"Relax, Joseph Morden never mentioned anything about us and it just looks like he's blaming the authorities. We never interfere with these things without instruction so you did the right thing. If someone had seen you move the body then we would have a real problem on our hands." I got up and walked up the stairs to my room. "I'm heading to bed."

Sometimes I liked to sit in the dark just to gather my thoughts, Rosalie. You see this Joseph Morden situation won't likely implicate the council but I'm not going to lie, this has me worried.

I'm worried about you and how you will react when you hear about this. And once again I'm boiling with rage because you've befriended that Harry boy who is looking for his father, who knows about some of our slip ups in the past, who's uncle has met Joseph Morden several times.

I thought you would be easy to deal with but evidently I was wrong. I was about to slump against the wall when I paused in mid air.

Your scent, I smell you and it was like a drug to my senses. You consume me whole and I know you are nearby. I wondered if you're watching me the way I watch you and I don't know why but the thought made me hard.

I shifted on my bed when the glass window in my room suddenly shattered to pieces.

Rosalie, you naughty, naughty girl.

I took my time and sauntered to the window and then I stared out into the dark nothingness, pretending to act as alarmed as any normal teenager would. You were there, hiding behind the perimeter of my house, looking guilty as ever.

I didn't expect to see you here, Rosalie. Let alone breaking my window. You surprised me all the time.

Your heart beats at an unimaginable rhythm, I wondered if you think I saw you but I pretended not to notice.

"What happened?" Aymen rushed to my side, pretending to be the perfect father and for once I'm happy with his presence.

"Nothing you should worry about," I murmured under my breath.

You buy into this ruse I've created, your eyes widened in panic when you caught sight of my father. I can almost read your mind; vampires don't have parents. My palms pressed into the ragged edges of glass and I savored the sting of pain as it dug into my skin.

You did this and somehow I want to relish in it. My eyes found yours in the briefest of moments and I quickly looked away before I slipped up. You rushed away, scurrying along the wall like a rat and I am the cat who jumped out of my window to follow you.

My steps were feather light, you don't notice me behind the trees, lurking in the shadows. You're too distracted as you run away from my house but then I catch the flashing of blue lights. We were passing the cemetery again and I had no choice but to hide behind a tombstone as you joined the group of people gathered by the gate.

"Rosalie, no." My words were useless and they didn't stop you from looking at the phone screen held out to you. Your eyes widened when you watched Joseph Morden's confession and you looked like you were about to throw up when people flashed their lights at the top of the gate to reveal his body.

My nose crinkled in disgust at the grotesque sight. I wondered how he had found the courage to jump from one the towering trees right on top of the spikes protruding from gate's top. Seemed rather attention seeking to me but I suppose that's what he wanted.

After all Sally's grave was located somewhere here.

The people were talking about him and Sally and it made me uneasy because I could see your expression. Now you were scurrying back home on your little feet like a frightened mouse and even though I am the cat who was supposed to eat you I found myself wanting to comfort you instead.

You climbed through your room window and I stayed by the tree, contemplating if I should go in or not but then you picked up your phone and dialed the one number that made me break a tree branch.

"Harry, I can't sleep." The words were like poison in my ears because he was your source of comfort and it boiled my blood and I'm was so mad I wanted to rip this tree out from the ground and smash it to bits.

After a few minutes of your pacing I watched as his car arrived and stopped by the side of your house. You climbed out of your window and what the hell are you doing sneaking out of your house in the middle of the night with him?

I'm seething mad I could kill someone.

The two of you drive away and I have no one to blame but myself because in a way I drove you to him. You would have never befriended him if it weren't for that silly church confession. You made poor decisions, Rosalie and somehow they are all back firing on me.

The night just keeps getting worse and worse because you both go to his uncle's Church and I can't go inside. I had no choice but to sit on a nearby tree and listen in on your conversation.

You are curious about him and his family. I heard you talk about his father and I knew this conversation was just driving the both of you together. He's lonely, abandoned and he needs you just as much as you need him.

Can't you see how he's just using you?

He leaves for awhile to get some tea and there's silence which made me feel slightly uncomfortable because you gasped so loudly. It's killing me not to know why and when he comes back I get my answer.

He has this stupid map of clues about his father's disappearance, about our slip ups and you buy into like melting putty. My entire body is on edge as you two argue about his betrayal and all I want you to do is march out of there and be done with him.

But then the worst happened. You forgave him and then you two decided to work together to solve this issue of yours using his map of clues.

The only problem is I am the issue and I never expected you to get this far. I wanted to laugh out loud at the prospect of being beaten by two seventeen year old's after I had been doing this for years. The idea itself was preposterous but you have been surprisingly me all along.

Will you become my undoing, Rosalie? Am I finally getting what I deserve?

Heyy this is Zayn's pov from the chapter where Rosalie discovers Joseph's body and Harry's map of clues. Hope you guys enjoyed.
