"And that's how Adam and Eve fell for each other irrevocably in love."

Huge applause echoed throughout the hall, as he narrated his story. Smiling bright, he scanned the crowd as happiness engulfed him. Numerous pairs of eyes were affixed on him, many with tears and many with the desire to find their own Adam and Eve. As he retired back to his seat, a pair of eyes caught his breath. Eyes as deep as the ocean and bright as the stars pierced his soul, calling out to make her his. At the fleeting moment, a blush crept up her cheeks and her lips curved wide; her heart falling deep and deep. An ardent fan of his stories and voice, she was. Every line of his was etched in her memory.

She approached with hesitant steps, to steal a quick glance. His heart skipped a beat with her every step. Their eyes spoke a language that only their hearts could decipher. They inched closer and exchanged their first hello. Unexpected it was for her but she went on with the flow. Her voice as sweet as honey melted his heart. He knew it was not a mere crush but wasn't ready to accept. His every fiber ached to be held by her but he wasn't ready to accept it as love.

As moments passed in aching silence, they bid farewell exchanging their numbers. All-day calls and late-night texts connected them more. He was surprised when he heard her narrate his lines. The emotions were conveyed right and the stories were so heart-warming to hear from her. For the first time in his life, he felt the life of his stories. She, on the other, was overjoyed to spend time with her beloved author. Slowly calls and texts progressed to meetings that drew them even close. From then on, she played a major part in every story he wrote. In a few, she was the protagonist too.

They explored many places together creating memories for a lifetime. Sparks ignited as they held hands and rested on each other's shoulders. Rare embraces at times of despair made them feel safe. Words were not needed as their eyes expressed their love. Years went by and their hearts ached to be one. One fine day, on a hilly drive, they stood by the falls mesmerized by the beauty. She leaned closer and planted a quick peck on his cheeks. She shied away at his piercing gaze. Moments later, driven by love, he kissed her back, hands sweaty and heart throbbing.

Realizing the deep-rooted love, he proposed, "Will you be my forever?"

And that's how, the story of this Adam and Eve ended, with a happily ever after.
