Aarav's POV

I was leaving for office, when Khushi said "dadda.. Aaj shaam main aur aap bahar chale pani puri khane?"

I agreed to her demand "haan kyun nahi.."

"Yess... Kitna maza aayega mumma aap bhi chalna hamare saath" she spoke while looking at Manvi.

Ahana smiled "haan zaroor jaana.. Aarav time pe aa jaana.." she said. I nodded and left for office.

At the office, as Ahana gave instructions Virat helped me finish the pending projects. I denied "bhai aap baaki kaam karlo main kar lunga khud"

Virat looked at me and said "pakka?? Ya mujhe phirse kamre se nikalne ka plan hai"

"Bhai main janta hun main shaitan hoon.. Aapko thoda bahut pareshan karta hun par zaalim nhi hun.. And this is my work main kar lunga aap jao" I said with a smile.

Virat smiled and ruffled my hairs seeing my dedication towards work. He moved to his cabin while I continued with my work.

I opened the mail and was shocked by reading it. They wanted the final report within 24 hours otherwise they would terminate the contract and the company would suffer a loss.

"Hey bhagwaan.. Ghar jaunga toh kaam nahi ho paayega aur nahi gaya toh biwi beti gussa karengi.. Chodo unhe baad mein mana lunga ye zaroori hai" I thought.

I messaged Manvi regarding the urgency of work "please.. Khushi ko sambhal lo.."

Virat went to meet a client and I told him about the urgent report. He said "what aise kaise?? Nahi tum ye nahi karoge I will talk to him"

"Nahi bhai.. Main kar lunga bas thoda sa hi baaki hai aap jao.." I replied to him.

"Aarav..." he said, but I made an innocent face. He left finally convinced.

Khushi's POV

I was so excited for the pani puri treat. I got ready to leave and rushed to Manvi's room. I found her sitting on the bed with her laptop. I asked "mumma aap ab tak ready nahi hue?"

"Kyuki aaj hum nahi jaa rahe hai" she replied.

I was bewildered, as Aarav had promised he will take me out today. I always wanted to go out with my parents and today was the chance. I questioned her "kyun?? Dadda ne toh kaha tha.."

"Kal usko apna project report submit karna hai.. Wo der tak aayega hum kal chalenge" she informed me making me disheartened.

I remembered the words of my friend and was thoughtful about it. I closed my eyes and did not let it affect me anyhow.

Manvi pulled me closer and patted my cheek.. "Kal chalenge pakka..."

I smiled and agreed "Thik hai mumma.. Kaam bhi zaroori hai"

She kissed my forehead and I went to my bedroom. I sat down on the couch and turned on the television.

There was a knock on my door, I looked and it was Virat.

"Andar aayie na..." I said.

He entered inside and sat beside me. He looked at the screen and said "video game akele thodi khelte hai...:"

"Toh kiske saath khelu? Mumma ko toh pasand nahi hai aur dadda office mein busy hai" I said with a sad face.

"Mere saath khelo.. Aarav ko bhi toh maine sikhaya hai na.." Virat said, I was amazed hearing him as Aarav told me he taught Virat how to play.

"Lekin dadda ne kaha... ki unhone aapko sikhaya" I told him.

Virat sighed.. "Ek number ka jhootha hai wo.. Chalo khelo mere saath.."

I nodded and we started to play, I won the game and shouted "yaay"

He smiled and ruffled my hair. He said.. "Sorry Aarav busy hai thoda.. Warna wo pakka tumhe leke jaata bahar.."

I sighed, why they worry so much. I know he loves me and knows his duty as father. I replied "it's okay.. Main toh gussa bhi nahi hun aur na hi apni mumma ki tarah nasamajh hun.. I am very intelligent you know" with a wink by closing my one eye.

Virat smiled hearing me and said "samajhdar.."

"Wo toh main hun..." I replied and he left the room.

I completed my homework and then went downstairs for dinner. Manvi had been calling Aarav but he was not picking up the call.

"Mumma dadda kaam kar rahe hai.. Disturb mat karo unko" I said.

"Pata hai.. Puch toh lun kabtak aayega" she replied.

Virat told.. "Manvi wo kaam khatam hone tak phone nahi uthayega.. Tum pareshan mat ho kalse he will free"

Ahana glared at him and said "haan.. Kitna thak jayega wo.. Toh free hone ka fayda kya..."

I was confused by hearing her words. I gave her a questionable look, she smiled at me and said "beta khana khao.. Aur so jao"

I nodded, but I was smart enough to understand everything. Since the day of the wedding, my parents did not even get one night together. Sometimes, I troubled them. Some days Aarav comes home so tired that he sleeps without having dinner.

They end up spending time all over the house that too lasts for 10-15 minutes, as the house is full of interruptions.

I rushed upstairs to my room and scrolled the laptop. There was something and I smiled seeing it. This is the best for my "Shameless" parents. This tag is so perfect for them.

Aarav's POV

Finally the final report was prepared for both the projects. I emailed them and within a few minutes I received a reply.

"Clause 5 details are missing"

I checked and sighed.. "Arghh.. I hate it.. Aajke baad iss office ki shakal bhi nahi dekhunga main" I murmured.

I searched for the file, I was really tired and kept my head on the table closing my eyes. I heard some sounds and opened my eyes realising staff was entering the office.

I looked at the time on my watch it was 9 am in the morning. I panicked, and sent the remaining document details. I had a sigh of relief as they accepted it and I took a deep breath..

"I am so proud of myself.." I said..

I dragged myself out of the cabin, Virat entered in and said.. "Aarav.. Phone toh utha liya karo.. Ghar mein sab pareshan ho rahe hai.."

I smiled.. "Bhai.. work done aur aajke baad aapke iss office ki shakal mujhe nahi dekhni hai.. Goodbye..."

I left the office, Virat sent the manager with me as I was not in a state of driving back. I thanked the manager for dropping me home.

I entered inside, Ahana glanced at me and said.. "Aarav.. Kitne thak gaye ho.. Fresh ho jao phir khana khao"

I nodded, she went towards the kitchen and l lay down on the couch straight finding comfort.

Manvi was on phone "yes Sir.. maine sab details Mr. Sinha ko bhej di hai.." She approached me and looked at my sleeping face.

I felt her presence around me, I held her wrist and pulled her. She landed on top of me and I opened my eyes.

"Tum jage hue they?" she asked.

"Ek ghante ki neend ke baad toh mujhe aaram mil hi jaata hai.. Aur tum itne pyaar se mujhe ghur rahi thi toh mauka kaise jaane deta?" I asked and wrapped my arms around her back.

"Aarav chodo.. Koi aa jayega.." Manvi said.

"I don't care.. Itne dino baad toh haath mein aayi ho tum" I said and moved in a more cozy position.

"Shuru... ho gaye janab.." I heard my brother's voice. I sighed.... Manvi stood up and I sat up straight...

I made a face "bhai.. Aapki problem kya hai? Mujhpe zara bhi taras nahi aata hai aapko? Jab dekho meri band bajate ho"

"chal zyada natak mat kar.. thoda rehem kar deta hun tujhpar" he said while sitting on the couch opposite us.

"ahana.. leke toh aana" Virat shouted..

Ahana came out of the study room with an envelope in her hands. She forwards it to me, I gave her a confused look.

"dekhlo" she said.

I held the envelope and opened it. I was left astonished seeing two honeymoon tickets to Switzerland, that too of a month.

I jumped in happiness "woohu.. honeymoon tickets.. wo bhi Switzerland ke ek mahina.." I wrapped my arms around Ahana's neck.

"Thank you bhabhi.. aap world ki best bhabhi ho kitna sochti ho mere baare mein" I spoke and she caressed my cheek.

"hello.. idea mera tha" Virat said as I was giving whole credit to Ahana.

"tum toh isko shimla bhej rahe they maine hi Switzerland bola" Ahana corrected.

"haan.. aur mujhe pata tha ek do din se iska kaam nhi chalega toh ek mahina tujhe jitna honeymoon manana hai manale.." Virat said teasingly.

I smiled sheepishly, I eyed Manvi and she seemed to be tense. I asked her what was the matter, she said something which also worried me.
