Khushi's POV

It was early morning, I got ready to leave for school. I can't believe I will be an elder sister in 9 months. I then remembered my father's decision, I moved downstairs and saw Aarav having breakfast along with others.

Aarav said "Khushi jaldi se breakfast karlo tumhe school chodke tumhari mumma ko hospital leke jaana hai"

Manvi stared at him and denied "main nahi aa rahi hun.. "

"Manvi kabhi toh meri baat maan liya karo" He rebuked.

"No means no.." She spoke angrily and left the breakfast table. She walked upstairs to the room and I glanced at my father. He sighed deeply, Ahana looks at him and said "Aarav.."

"Bhabhi please.." He was disturbed, and he got and moved out of the house. I quickly picked up the sandwich and followed him. I sat down inside the car and he drove off towards my school.

"Dadda.. Hum milke khayal rakhenge na mumma ka.. Kabse wait kar rahe they iss din ka" I said softly.

Aarav smiles lightly "Khushi mujhe bhi ye sab karke acha nahi lag raha hai.. Lekin abhi tumhari mumma ko khone ka risk kaise le lun main??"

"Dadda aap sahi ho.. Lekin mumma bhi galat nahi hai.. Aap bahut zyada soch rahe ho" I concluded.

He stops the car in front of my school, I got down and went inside. He headed off towards his office, within 20 minutes he arrived and parked the car.

He climbed the stairs and entered the office. The MD was scolding a few staff members, Aarav interrupts "Sir.. aap iss tarah kyun chilla rahe hai inpe?"

"Toh kya karun main? Jante bhi ho kitne loss ho rahe hai company ko aur yahan koi thik se kaam bhi nahi kar raha hai" the MD shouted.

Aarav said "Sir hum apna kaam thik se kar rahe hai lekin aap hi bina discuss kiye kisiki advice liye naye projects laate hai jinmein loss hi hote hai.."

"Exactly sir.. Manvi mam jo deals sign karti thi management ki advice achi tarah se study karti thi! And unhe ache se aata tha clients ko handle karna" Sneha took the stand.

"Don't you teach my job! Shyam tak mujhe puri progress report chahiye warna har ek ko fire kar dunga" he shouted and goes to his cabin.

Aarav sighed deeply, he moves to his desk and thought "kuch mahino mein bas company band hi ho jayegi.."

"Manvi mam ka nature bahut strict tha lekin jab wo thi yahan pe ek bhi loss nahi hua aur humhe bonus tak milta tha.."

"Haan.. aaj unhi ehmiyat pata chal rahi hai humhe.. Ab toh office aane ka bhi mann nahi karta hai"

A smile appears on his face hearing that. He begins his work, later in afternoon suddenly the board of directors and the chairman come to the office. They all went to the conference room and the MD follows.

Aarav carefully looks and tries to figure out what was happening. The board seemed to be extremely angry with the way he is leading the company. Aarav smirked "Ab pata chalega inhe meri biwi kya thi iss company ke liye.."

At home

Manvi was upset with Aarav's behavior. He had always supported her in every decision but today he himself is telling her to abort the child. Tears slip down her eyes, she knows he isn't wrong but she can't kill a child in her womb.

Ahana comes and gives her the juice. Manvi smiles "Thank you bhabhi"

"Janti hun Aarav ki baaton se upset ho tum lekin wo tumhari parwah karta hai isliye aise behave kar raha hai" Ahana spoke.

"Janti hun bhabhi.. He is just 26.. Banta phirta hai mature but ek dum emotional hai.." Manvi said.

"Haan wo toh hai! Tum pareshan mat ho.. Stress toh bilkul hi nahi lena." Ahana warned her

She nods with a smile, she just wanted Aarav acceptance and the joy of becoming a father on his face.

I returned home and shouted "mumma I am home" I run and gave a tight hug to her from behind.

She smiled and tapped my cheek lightly. "Aa gayi chalo change karlo main khana laga deti hun"

"Nahi nahi aap rest karo Khushi khudse le legi." I spoke and went upstairs.

Ahana smiled and spoke "see.. Khushi ko bhi pata hai uske dadda ko bas thoda samjhana hai"

Manvi receives a call from her boss, she was surprised at that. She picks up and goes to the side "Sir.."

"Manvi.. How are you?" he questioned.

"Sir I am fine" She replied.

"Can you rejoin as MD? He asked straightly.

Manvi was shocked hearing that, a smile appears on her face. She was excited but then thought about her pregnancy and the complications. "Sorry sir..par main nahi join kar paaungi.. My family comes first"

She ends the call and turns. She finds Aarav standing there, he eyed her and asked "tumne mana kyun kiya?"

"Tumne hi kaha tha na complications hai.. Aur mujhe abortion nahi karwana hai.. Ghar mein rahungi without any stress.. Toh complications honge hi nahi" Manvi replied and moved to the kitchen.

Aarav was left confused hearing her words, Ahana eyed him and said "Aarav.."

"Bhabhi..." he just uttered.

"Kyun itna complicate kar rahe ho? Jante ho na pregnancy mein khush rehna kitna important hota hai.. Kaam karegi toh khush rahegi.. Aur tum khush hoge toh wo dil se khush hogi Aarav.." Ahana tried to explain.

"Bhabhi.. Risk le rahi wo apni life se.." Aarav said with fear of losing her reflecting his eyes.

Ahana held his hand and smiles "Aarav meri pregnancy mein bhi toh complications they na?? Tum aur Virat they mere saath toh sab thik raha na?? Han?" she questioned.

Aarav nods in yes, Ahana further added "iss bache ke liye Khushi ne kitni prathna ki hai.. Main bhi toh dekhna chahti hun chote Aarav ko bada hote hue.. Khushi ko bhai ya behen milega uske saath khelne ke liye.. Ye sab hoga agar hum aaj iss bache ko abort kar dete hai toh kya sab sapne adhure nahi rah jayenge haan?"

Aarav was silent, tears slips down his eyes. Ahana wiped them with the tips of her finger and further exclaimed "kuch nahi hoga Manvi ko.. Ghar mein hum sab hai uska khayal rakhne ke liye.. Please chod de apni zid.."

"Bhabhi.. 1% bhi agar ye sab nahi hua toh?? Main apni patni ko kho dunga.. Jiske liye maine sabse ladai ki.. Aapse ki bhai se ki.. Wo mujhse door ho jayegi! Khushi ke sarse maa ka saaya uth jayega.. Main toot jaunga sab khatam ho jayega" Aarav said his point of view.

"Beta itna negative kyun ho raha hai?? Ye anxiety tumare bhai ko bhi hui thi.. Tab tumne hi samjhaya tha na.. Ki bhai hum milkar bhabhi aur bache ka khayal rakhenge toh sab acha hoga..." Ahana said and reminded him of his own worlds.

Aarav takes a deep breath, Ahana smeared his head "tera saath.. Manvi ki himmat banega puri pregnancy mein aur ye complications toh mostly hote hai Aarav uske liye doctors hai.. Bharosa rakho bhagwaan pe.."

"Lekin bhabhi.." he still wasn't convinced.

Virat entered the scene, he looked at Aarav and said "Aarav Ahana sahi kah rahi hai.. Aur ye doctors ko zaroorat se zyada darate hai.. Agar Manvi abortion karwa legi toh wo toot jayegi Aarav... hamesha saath khade rahe ho na uske? Toh iss baar kya hua?"

Aarav was silent.. "Bhai.. bas use takleef mein nahi dekh sakta hun.. Hospital jaate jaate bhi dard mein thi wo" he said with teary eyes.

Virat smiled lightly hearing his words, he slapped his face playfully "paagal ladka... kuch nahi hoga samjhe! She needs you.. Apne chehre pe fikar nahi khushi laao Aarav.."

"Exactly.. Manti hun iss umar mein bahut complications hote hai par bache paida hote hai Aarav... aur main hun na saath mein sab acha hoga" she assured him.

Aarav smiles hearing her and realised his mistake. "I am sorry bhabhi.. Iss waqt use meri zyda zaroorat thi aur main usse ladh pada.." He said.

"That's fine Aarav.. Ab jaake usko mana le.." Ahana spoke.

Virat nods "haan sirf manana.. Besharami mat karna" he said to light up the situation.

Aarav glared at him and smiled "ab mera manana aapko besharmi lagta hai toh it's not my fault"

Virat ruffled his hairs and spoke "itna samajhdar acha nahi lagta hai tu.. jaa.."

Aarav rushed upstairs, he opened the door of his room and was left shocked to see the scenario in front of his eyes.
