Khushi's POV

Sneha was about to leave but Aarav said "Sneha.. please aise lunch beech mein nahi chodte hai"

Aarav glanced at Manvi and spoke "Aur mam.. main aapka husband ghar pe hun yahan nahi.. yahan bas aapka ek junior ho! aap jaake apne clients ko attend kijiye"

Manvi clearly senses his insecurity in his voice. Manvi ordered him "Mr Aarav Malhotra I want you in my cabin in 10 minutes! otherwise, you will be fired"

Manvi left from there while Sneha said "Aarav I think you should go.."

Aarav stood up and headed towards her cabin "hitler jab dekho dhamki deti hai job se nikalni ki"

He marched into her cabin and asked "boliye.. kya kaam hai?"

Manvi came closer to him and touched his hand but he jerked away "mam.. behave"

"Are itna gussa kyun kar rahe ho? conference room mein bhi naraz hoke nikal gaye" Manvi asked the reason for his behavior.

"mam.. main kaha gussa karta hun? ye toh aap karti hai.. apni manmani karti hai! Miss Manvi Shekhawat..." he specially stretched her name which was spoken by the client Mr. Kapoor.

"ohh.. toh finally mera insecure pati jaag gaya!" Manvi said with a smile on her face.

"Excuse me.. I am not insecure, tumhe jisse baat karni hai karo jahan jana hai jao but you are now Mrs. Manvi Malhotra ye baat apne har employee aur har client ko samjha do! warna agar koi mujhse pit gaya.. toh bolna nahi maine warning nahi di" Aarav spoke and left her cabin. Manvi laughed hearing his words.

He entered back again and said "aur.. ye Mr kapoor se zara doori banake baat kara karo.. his intentions are not right"

Manvi pulled him and made him sit on the chair, she gave him a glass of water "pani peeyo" but he refused to drink.

"Aarav please pani peeyo" Manvi requested him again, he drank it.

"tum jante ho na I am MD of the company, bahut responsibilities hai aur main kisiko upset karungi toh loss company ko hoga.. it's important that I go to that party" she tried to convince him.

"mam... aap mujhse zyada experienced hai.. aapko jo sahi lage kijiye mujhe bahut kaam hai" he said and walked out of the cabin. Manvi took a deep breath and sighed..

Around 6 pm, Manvi moved out of the office. She looked at Aarav and said "chalo Aarav.."

He turned off the laptop and they walked out of the office. Manvi grabbed his hand tightly, Aarav said "manvi kya kar rahi ho?"

"tumhara mood thik karne ki koshish" she replied.

Aarav said "mera mood bindaas hai! aur I am sorry for whatever I said earlier.."

"it's okay.." Manvi replied.

"kuch pal ke liye haan main thoda insecure ho gaya tha! aur tumhe party mein zaroor jaana chahiye" Aarav said with a smile on his face.

"tum bhi aaoge mere saath" Manvi replied.

"nahi.. dekho hum pati patni hai par office mein tum MD ho aur main bahut hi operational level pe kaam karta hun! I don't want meri wajah se tumhari reputation pe koi effect pade" Aarav shared his concern regarding her.

"lekin Aarav tum jante ho tumhare bina mujhe party mein maza nahi aata hai" she said.

"manvi pehle jo party thi usme sab level se staff invited they.. ye bas CEOs, MDs.. sab high posted logo ki business party hai! you have to build relationships with them.. mere aane se pehle bhi toh tum sab karti thi na akele'' Aarav exclaimed.

Manvi agreed and they headed back towards home.

Aarav thought about something and said "manvi.. Hamari first anniversary aa rahi hai can't believe it itna waqt ho gaya hamari shaadi ko"

"Woh toh hai par no celebrations Khushi ke board exams hai aur mujhe iss baar koi negligence nahi chahiye uski studies mein! Pehle hi hamari wajah se suspend hui thi.." Manvi refused to celebrate as Khushi was first priority.

"I agree.. Lekin next year hum second honeymoon pe jaa sakte hai" He said with a wink from his eyes.

Manvi smiled and said "yaad hai bhabhi ne kya kaha tha? Bahar aa jao honeymoon period se"

"Are wo toh gusse mein bol diya tha.. She actually didn't mean it" Aarav spoke

It was evening 7pm, I had been completing the assignments and preparing for studies. Ahana entered the room and kept a glass of milk on my table.

I eyed her with a smile "Thank you badi maa.."

She ruffled my hair and went out. I drank the milk and my phone buzzed, there was a message from Avni Di.

She asked "maasi aur AM ki first anniversary hai! Tayari shuru kar di hongi na?"

I denied "nahi Di.. uss din mera board exams hai! Kaise karungi?"

"Meri khushi toh intelligent hai na.. Solution nikal legi.. All the best" Avni replied

I took a deep breath and went to see Virat and Ahana as they will give me the best advice. I knocked on Vihana's room, and Ahana looked at her with a smile "Khushi.. Aao na"

I entered the room, Ahana was changing Vihaan's nappy. "Aap busy ho toh baad mein aati hun main"

Virat denied "nahi Khushi.. Kya hua sab thik hai na?"

"Jee bade papa.. Wo mumma aur dadda ki first anniversary aa rahi hai na" I said

"Haan.. aur tum toh bahut excited hogi!" Ahana said thrilledly.

I shook my head in yes and said "hun par ek problem hai mere board exams usi week shuru ho rahe hai!"

Virat noticed the tension on my face and spoke "toh dikkat kya hai beta? Aap padhai karna hum unki surprise anniversary ki tayari karenge"

I made a face as I wanted their first anniversary to celebrate my way. Ahana held my hand and said "main janti tum unn dono ki anniversary ache se celebrate karna chahti ho! Toh ek kaam karna tum jo chahti ho wo mujhe bata do main sab waise tayari karungi aur tumhara exam khatam hone ke baad tumhe jo karna hai kar lena mumma aur dadda ke liye"

I smiled broadly hearing her, I hugged her tightly "Thank you badi maa.. I promise meri studies pe effect nahi padega!"

"That's good.. Aur waise bhi padhai mein break lena chahiye! Tum bas uss din ke exam ki aur uske agle din ke exam ki tayari pehle se kar lena" Ahana gave her suggestion.

I agreed and ran out of the room with excitement. Finally my wish was fulfilled, Manvi and Aarav returned home.

Aarav said "acha.. Tum party mein jaogi na toh please thoda jaldi aa jana you know tumhare bina mera dil nahi lagta hai bilkul bhi"

Manvi smiled hearing his words, she teased him "haaye.. Waise uss din maine shorts aur tumhari shirt pehni thi.. Agar waisa kuch..."

Aarav shot a deadly glare at her "Don't you dare.. Tumhare kapde main select karunga.."

Manvi laughed hearing him, she remembered something.

"Aarav.. Khushi ke board exams shuru ho rahe hai toh please uske saath tv dekhna video game khelna band karo" Manvi instructed him.

"Are haan.. Uske school se email bhi aaya hai! Hamari anniversary par bhi uska exam hai! Isliye iss baar hum koi celebration nahi karenge" Aarav said in concern.

I was upset hearing him, Manvi smiled "haa.. Anniversary toh phir aayegi par ye saal dubara nahi aayega! Waise hi hamari wajah se ek mahina Khushi suspend hui thi.. Ab mujhe uski studies mein koi compromise nahi chahiye mujhe uske exams mein" she said.

Aarav agreed to her and I turned with teary eyes "mujhe pata tha yahi hoga! Ab surprise party ki toh mumma aur dadda dono mujhe daantenge"

Virat eyed me and said "wo dono parents hai na tumhare! Sahi hai apni jagah pe.."

"Par bade papa first anniversary bhi baar baar nahi aati hai! 15 saal maine intezar kiya hai iss din ka.." I said with teary eyes.

He wiped my tears and said "don't worry.. Aap bas apni padhai pe focus karo! Baki main sambhal lunga"

"Aur mumma aur dadda ki daant se bhi bacha loge?" she asked, eyeing at her parents.

Ahana smiled and said "beta.. Mere aage unn dono ko nahi chalegi.. Jaisa tum chahogi waisa hoga"

I jumped in excitement hearing that, and I heard a voice "kya hoga?"

I turned and found Manvi standing there. I gulped down my throat and then exchanged glances with Vihana.
