Manvi's POV

Virat tried to convince Aarav to join back his old office where Manvi was MD. Virat teased him "aur waha tum romance karoge toh boss daant bhi nahi paayegi.. biwi jo hai tumhari" 

Aarav smiled lightly at him "kya bhai aap bhi.. thik hai aap kehte ho toh main apply kar deta hun waha pe bhi" 

Virat smiled hearing him and Aarav went to the room to sleep. 

Aarav entered the room, he moved to the wardrobe and took out his t-shirt and trousers. I glanced at him and he seemed to be lost. 

I asked "Aarav sab thik hai na?" 

He glanced at me "haan.. acha tumhare office mein sab thik chal raha hai na?" he asked.

I shook my head affirmatively "haan Aarav bas kuch new projects aaye hai toh workload badh gaya hai aur tumhe toh pata hi hai office mein talented logo ki kitni kami hai" 

Aarav looked at me, it seemed he was thinking about joining back the office. He changed the clothes and lay down beside me. 

After a moment, he sat up and again moved out of the room. 

He came to Ahana who was sitting on the couch and admiring the old photographs in the photo album. Aarav sat down beside her and questioned "bhabhi kya dekh rahi ho?" 

Ahana smiled and replied "kuch purani yaadein Aarav! ye dekho jab main pehli baar ghar aayi thi kaise tum hamesha mere aur Virat ke beech aake baith jaate they.."

Aarav smiled and spoke "haan aur bhai chid jaate they.." 

Ahana eyed him and asked "tum batao kya hua pareshan kyun ho?" 

He spoke "bhabhi aap toh janti ho mere ek saal ke andar job chodne ki wajah se mujhe kahi job nahi mil rahi hai aur ab toh meri degree ki value bhi kum hoti jaa rahi hai aise baar baar rejection se" 

"hmm.. toh jahan choda tha waha wapas jaane mein burayi kya hai?" Ahana asked. 

"bhabhi aap toh jante ho mere aur manvi ke rishte ko leke aaj bhi sawal khade hote hai! aur ab main nahi chahta koi ab hamari professional life ke baare mein bhi baat kare" Aarav said indirectly but Ahana was smart enough to understand what he meant. 

Ahana grabbed his hand and spoke "Aarav tumhe kabse duniya waalo ki fikar hone lagi?"

"bhabhi.. kyuki ab hamari shaadi ho chuki hai aur hamari beti pe bhi iska asar padta hai" Aarav replied. 

"Aarav.. personal life aur professional life ko alag rakhna chahiye! jo galti tumne pehle ki wo ab mat karna. Manvi ki wajah se tumne job hi chod diya tha ab aisa mat karo" Ahana said

Aarav smiled lightly "Aap sahi kah rahi ho bhabhi.. aur waise bhi mera approval aur rejection toh Manvi ki HR team hi decide karegi" 

Ahana shook her head in yes, he hugged her tightly and then went to sleep again. 

The next morning, I got ready and moved downstairs. Khushi was talking to Aarav about something and I smiled seeing them bonding. 

"Khushi.. kal saturday hai toh hum outing ke liye jayenge" Aarav made up the weekend plan. 

"dadda mumma bhi jayengi hamare saath! haina mumma?" Khushi asked looking at me.

I nodded "haan chalungi tum dono ke saath" 

"that's so cool! aur dadda aaj ke interview ke liye all the best mera mann kah raha hai aaj toh aapko ye job mil hi jayega" Khushi spoke excitedly. 

I looked at him in confusion "kaunsa interview?" 

"koi sa nahi.. tum office jao" Aarav diverted the topic leaving me bewildered. I was getting late so decided to talk to him in the evening about it. 

I headed towards the office and was tense as today is the last deadline to submit my decision. I received an email from client again "ab main ignore nahi kar sakti hun aaj toh inhe mana kar hi dungi Aarav toh job pe wapas aane se raha" 

I reached the office within half an hour, I headed towards my cabin and the manager stopped me. 

"Good morning mam, HR team ne ek new staff ko hire kiya hai aap unhe samjha dijiye project ke baare mein" he spoke.

I was shocked to hear that, the HR team didn't consult with me before hiring a new person in Aarav's place. I sighed deeply and went to the cabin as the person was already waiting for me in the cabin. 

I sat down and glanced at him he was hiding his face behind the file. I sighed and questioned him "Mr... iss office ke kuch rules hai jo tumhe follow karne honge.." 

"time pe office aana, time pe report submit karna aur time pe ghar jaana!" he replied. 

I glanced at him and was shocked to see Aarav. I shouted "tum!!!" 

Aarav smiled "yes mam! ye banda phirse hazir hai aapka sardard karne aapko irrirate karne"

I was bewildered "tum mujhse pehle office kaise pahuche? aur interview kab diya?" 

Aarav smirked "well.. yahi toh mera talent hai Mrs. Manvi Malhotra.. tum office aane se pehle apni ek meeting ke liye gayi thi na tab maine interview diya aur fatafat yahan aake baith gaya" 

I stood up and went to him hugging him tightly "I am so happy to see you back..." 

He was taken back at her excitement, he whispered "manvi mana ki hum pati patni hai par ye tumhara office hai aur tum apne rules khud bhool rahi ho?" 

I bit my tongue out and parted the hug. I came to my bossy mode and handed him the file "ye new project ki file hai.. ek hafte ke andar mujhe presentation chahiye" 

"sure mam." Aarav took the file and moved out of the cabin. He sat down on his old desk and I smiled lightly seeing him. The old memories lighted up, his flirting towards me, my anger, and at last how we ended up getting closer to each other.  

He was talking with his colleagues without any ego or insecurity that I was his senior. I wish every girl gets a husband like him. My phone buzzed, I looked at the message "manvi.. main janta hun kaafi mahine baad office wapas aaya hun par ye matlab nahi tum mujhe ghurti rahogi aur hamari tashan waali love story yaad karti rahogi! thoda kaam bhi karlo warna tumhara boss phirse meri tareef karke tumhe daant laga dega!" 

I sighed deeply and continued with my work. Later, in the evening I finished for the day. I stepped out of the cabin, the team was still working "guys.. mujhe subah tak ye pura chahiye!" 

I glanced at Aarav who smiled at me. I left the office and sat inside the car. 

Third Person POV

Aarav was working with the team and explaining to them the urgency. 

"Aarav.. tumhari biwi ne toh tumhe hi nahi baksha.. pehle din hi itna kaam" one of them spoke. 

"ab wo bhi majboor hai na! waise hi kaafi delay ho gaya hai" Aarav said. 

"wo toh hai... main toh pichle ek mahine se mam se kaha raha tha tumhe wapas bula le par pata nahi kyun unhone itna delay kiya.. thank god tumne khud dubara apply kiya yahan and HR team ne tumhe approve kar diya" Dinesh spoke. 

Aarav looked on at him, about after an hour he came downstairs and saw Manvi waiting for him at the street corner inside the car. He moved and sat beside her, he eyed her and asked "tumne mujhe bataya kyun nahi??"

"kya nahi bataya?" Manvi questioned unknown to what he was speaking about. 

"bano mat Manvi! clients ne meri demand ki thi.. ek mahine se tum taal rahi thi kyun??" He asked angrily. 

"Because main nahi chahti thi tum meri sifarish se wapas aau aur phir tumhari khuddari ko tesh pahuche" Manvi exclaimed. 

"tum paagal ho kya Manvi?? tumhari job jaa sakti thi" he scolded her. 

"toh dusri mil jaati.. par main tumhe hurt karke apna kaam nahi kar sakti thi" Manvi replied. 

"dusri job milna jaise car chalana aasan hai na.. yuh mil jaati hai!" He argued with her. They began to argue over the matter and Aarav moved out of the car. Manvi also drove off home annoyed with him. 

Malhotra home

Khushi spoke "badi maa.. I am so happy Dadda ko job mil gayi aur mumma aur papa ka jhagra bhi khatam ho gaya!" 

"main bhi khush hun Khushi.. ab office ki shamat aayegi.. do besharam ek hi office mein" Ahana said with a light laugh. 

Just then Manvi marched inside the house mumuring "samjhta kya hai khudko! ek toh uski bhalayi karo upar se taane suno" she went straight to the room. 

Khushi glanced at her and after a few minutes Aarav entered the house "hitler hai na.. toh apni manmani karni hi hai!!" he murmured and marched towards the study room. 

Khushi and Ahana hit their forehead "phirse!!!"
