Manvi's POV

Khushi and Avni had left for school along with Vineet. As usual she wanted to have an ice-cream in morning. I could not deny as I did not want her to feel that I am being dominating.

I was searching for my watch into the room but I could not find it. I messed up the place. I heard a voice "what is this mannu?"

I turned and found Ruhana standing at the door. I replied "Di wo meri ghadi nhi mil rahi hai"

"Teri aadat gayi nahi na choti choti cheezein rakhke bhool jaati hai aur phir pura kamra kharab kar deti hai" she complained while entering in and arranging the things.

I smiled lightly, I moved to her and hugged her from behind "kuch cheezein kabhi nhi badalti Di" I replied briefly.

"Janti hun, Khushi tujhse zyada samajhar hai kaha hi tha usne mujhse mumma aaj kuch na kuch dhund rahi hogi aur phir room mess kar dengi" Ruhana said.

I smiled hearing this, she turned towards me. I replied "madam kuch zyada hi bolne lagi hai"

"Sach toh kehti hai wo, yeh le teri watch" she handed me the watch. I gave her questioning look.

She replied "bahar hall mein thi aur tune room mess kar diya, bhulakkad" while hitting my head lightly.

"Thank you Di" I said.

"Ek baat bata raat ko tu chat pe kya kar rahi thi?" she questioned me while looking at me.

I replied "nahi main toh nhi thi"

"Jhooth toh bolna mat mujhse, bata fatafat" she asked me giving her deadly glare.

Nothing can be hidden from her, I said "jab aapko aur jiju ko saath dekhti hun na toh Arjun ki yaad aa jaati hai aur khushi ke saamne main upset nhi hona chahti thi isliye chat pe chali gayi thi"

She held my hand and said "maine tujhse kaha tha na phirse apna ghar basale"

I replied "nahi Di.. koi aur khushi ko wo pyar nhi de paata jo aap aur jiju dete ho aur jab Arjun ke gharwalo ne hi mujhe chod diya toh main baaki se kya umeed rakhti" the pain reflected in my voice.

I further said "mujhe kisiki zaroorat nhi hai aur na khushi ko hum dono ek dusre ke saath bahut khush hai bas kabhi kabhi uski yaad aa jaati hai ab wo nhi kar sakti kya main aur khushi aur maine kabhi kisiki zaroorat mehsus nhi ki apni zindagi mein?" I asked.

She smiled lightly and kissed my forehead "kar sakti hai.. Chal ab jaa office late ho raha hai tujhe" she said.

I smiled, I looked at the room and held my ear "sorry for the mess Di"

She cupped my face "koi baat nahi servant arrange kar denge tu jaa"

I agreed and moved out of the house. I was driving, I know my sister had always concern for me. She even tried to get me married but unfortunately society does not accept a widow that too with a daughter. I did not wanted my daughter to suffer from any pain so I always denied of this. She did not forced me much, she always supported me. I was blessed to have such sister and brother-in-law with me.

I arrived at the office, I entered inside and everyone wished me. I greeted them back, I looked towards my secretary and said "kal ki report mere cabin mein abhi lao"

She obeyed my order with "Yes mam" and I moved towards my cabin. I stopped and glanced at the empty desk. I shook my head "ab tak nhi aaya ye isko pata nhi hai kya office timings kya hai" I sighed and moved into the cabin.

Malhotra House

Aarav was getting ready to leave for office, she rushed out of the room. Ahana stopped him with "Are are.. Nashta kaun karega?"

Aarav answered "bhabhi already late ho gaya hun main"

"Ek do din chalta hai ye sab bhooke toh tumhe jaane nahi dungi main" Ahana said while pulling him to the dining table.

"Bhabhi bhabhi mera haath ukad jayega bahut komal sa haath hai mera" he said dramtically.

Virat glanced at Aarav "office jaane laga hai lekin iski nautanki ab tak khatam nhi hui hai" he taunted.

Ahana looked towards Virat folding her arms "tumhe kya problem hai, Papa aur tum toh hi serious type business people mera devar bhi tum jaisa ban jaye? No ways mujhe bore nhi hona hai" she said.

Aarav hugged Ahana "see bhai bhabhi loves me you don't jab dekho mujhe pareshan karte ho aap"

"Pareshan tum karte ho, sar pe chada rakha hai Ahana ne tumhe" Virat said.

"Mr. Virat Malhotra bhabhi aur devar ke beech mein na kuch bole toh acha hoga aapke liye" Ahana said in warning tone.

"Aarav, kabhi toh serious ho jaaye karo" Virat said in serious tone.

"Wo nhi hoga serious tum jao jaake apna business sambhalo" Ahana replied, Virat sighed and left the house.

Aarav said "Acha bhabhi main bhi chalta hun"

"Oh hello? Nashta karo pehle" Ahana said strictly.

Aarav agreed and sat down for the breakfast. He quickly ate the toast and left.

At office

I was busy checking some work done by the staff, my eyes fell on the door. Aarav was entering inside. He sat down at his desk. I moved out and stood in front of his desk folding my arms "you are an hour late"

He smiled and said "ab kya karun main aap hi batayie meri bhabhi mera bahut khayal rakhti hai main unka dil toh nhi tod sakta tha na"

I said in firm tone "mujhe nhi jaanna hai Mr. Aarav Malhotra warn kar rahi hun main agar phirse tum itne late aaye to you will lose your job"

He was looking at me unaffected with my threat. Instead he smiled broadly and replied "don't worry I will do some overtime"

I was left surprised, I took a deep breath. There is no point of arguing with him as he won't listen and will only do what he feels is right. He won't be serious, I assumed with my experience. I moved into the cabin.

I was working on the laptop, someone knocked my cabin. I said "Come in"

The person entered inside and said "mam, if you don't mind can I suggest you some suggestions"

I looked at him and it was Aarav. I asked "say?"

He kept a file in front of her and explained the problems. I looked at him in anger as he was saying I did a mistake. I have been working on the project since past few months. I asked "tum hote kaun ho mujhe ye batane waale?"

He replied "madamji main toh aapki help kar raha hun"

"Mujhe nhi chahiye tumhari madad" I replied.

"Lekin kyun? Mere alawa aapki madad yahan koi kar bhi nhi sakta hai" he said with such confidence.

I noticed his expressions, he was smiling. I said "please leave"

"But changes?" he questioned.

I picked up the pen and threw it towards him, he caught it and smiled "ahan! I like it, lagta hai aap bhi mujhse impress ho hi gayi mam"

I shoot a deadly glare to him, he smiled and said "Waise ek baat kahun aap bura mat maana.. Iss gusse mein aap badi cute lagti hai"

I was just shocked, he was flirting with me. He had no fright of getting fired. I asked "you are flirting with me?"

"Nahi main toh bas aapki khubi baata raha hun" He said and moved out of the cabin. I sat back on the chair with thud covering my face with the file.

"He is an headache.." I thought to myself.

Khushi's POV

I along with Avni and Vineet came to the cinema hall for the movie. I questioned "bade papa hum mumma aur maasi ko kyun nhi laaye?"

Vineet replied "beta tumhari mumma toh office mein kaam kar rahi hogi aur tumhari maasi bhi kaam mein busy hai isliye"

Avni said "papa how bad na maasi aur mumma kaam kar rahe hai aur hum yahan maze kar rahe hai?"

Vineet smiled broadly and said "beta ab zamana badal gaya hai tum enjoy karo"

I giggled and said "bade papa, aapko koi kaam nhi hai kya?"

He replied "tha kaam maine sab kaam khatam kar diya tum dono ke liye"

I smiled and kissed his cheek "thank you and love you"

Avni said while eating popcorn "shh.. Ab movie pe concentrate karo"

Vineet glanced at us one by one and warned "don't tell your mothers about this okay?"

We nodded "we won't"
