6 months Later

Khushi's POV

I was sleeping cosily on the bed dreaming about my charming prince. I heard a loud voice "Khushi utho school ke liye late ho jayega"

I opened my eyes with a jerk and saw my mother standing in front of me.

She spoke in her strict tone "khana bana diya hai maine school se aake kha lena aur tv bilkul nahi dekhogi tum"

I sighed and agreed "par mumma aap bhool gayi aaj humhe maasi ke ghar jaana tha" I reminded her

She spoke "Tum chali jaana mujhe bahut important kaam hai bahut responsibilities hai mujhpar"

I nodded with a forced smile and she left my room and then I heard the main door closing sound. She was again an arrogant, adamant person and the reason for it was her separation from Aarav.

She tried to smile and laugh with me, but failed because it reminded her of Aarav. She then changed herself again the way she was before meeting Aarav. She engrossed herself in work evermore, she stopped spending time with me and RuVi. I accepted the change, I never questioned her or forced her for anything.

I know she is in pain for losing her love for the second time. I got ready to leave for school, I ate breakfast and then moved downstairs. The bus was waiting for me, I sat inside and went to school.

After school was over, I went to Singhaniya House with Avni. Ruhana glanced at me and smiled.

I hugged her tightly "maasi I missed you" I said with a smile

"Maine bhi miss kiya.. Mannu nahi aa rahi na?" she asked.

I eyed her "haan maasi.. Aapko toh pata hi hai wo phirse sadu mode pe aa gayi hai.. Kaam kaam kaam" I said imitating her.

Ruhana patted my cheek.. "Aur hum tumhari mumma ko samjhaye toh wo samjhegi nahi" she said.

I smiled... "haan.."

"Chalo change karlo main khana laga deti hun" Ruhana spoke.

I went upstairs and changed my dress. After lunch, I and Avni di played carrom and then I finished my homework.

Later in the evening, Vineet returned home and I demanded from him to take us to the chaupati for pani puri treat.

He smiled and agreed "done.. Chalte hai"

Avni Di and I shouted in excitement "yaaay..."

At least, I have him to demand something not always but sometimes.

Manvi's POV

I reached my office on time, I glanced at everyone with an angry gaze as most of them were busy gossiping.

I scolded them "ye office hai tum logo ka ghar nahi samjhe"

They immediately went to their place and engaged in work. Just then Neha entered the office and I glanced at my watch. It was 9.10 am.

I raged at her "pure 10-minute late ho tum Neha kuch rules hai iss office ke itne saalo se kaam kar rhi ho follow nahi karna aaya abtak?"

Neha lowered her head and apologized "sorry mam.."

I glared at her and went inside my chamber. I turned on the laptop and started working. I glanced at the desk right opposite my chamber. It was still empty after Aarav resigned I refused any new intern in the office.

Since he had left I missed him every second in the office. I imagined him standing in front of me and flirting, irritating me and then making me laugh.

I closed my eyes, he is not with me but his memories haunt me every day. I never showed in front of Khushi but she is matured enough to understand everything.

I tried smiling and lived the life the way he wanted me to but I failed.

My phone ranged and I picked up the call. "Yes sir.. Don't worry AV associates ke saath main deal final karke rahungi" I assured my boss.

I disconnected the call and concentrated on the presentation. As time passed, it was 8 pm. I turned off the laptop and left the office.

I reached the Singhaniya Mansion and saw Ruhana sitting on the couch. She said "aa gayi... chal khana laga deti hun"

I replied "Di bhook nhi hai mujhe aur kaam hai kal bahut zaroori meeting hai" and went upstairs to my room.

I heard her. "Phirse ye ladki apne sadu mood pe chali gayi "

I just smiled sarcastically..

Malhotra House

Ahana was sitting on the bed and watching a movie. Virat entered the room and glanced at her angrily.

"Ahana you were supposed to sleep," he said.

Ahana smiled at him "Virat.. Neend nahi aa rahi baby and mumma wants to enjoy the movie" she spoke placing her hand on her baby bump.

Virat sat beside her and passed her medicine "lo.."

She took it with the glass of water and then she kept her head on his chest and hugged him.

"Thank you.. Tumne mujhe itna waqt de rahe ho" she said elated.

"Dena hi padega.. Mujhe shauk nahi tumhari faltu ki daant khane ka" he said teasingly.

Ahana glared at him and sighed.. "Par 6 mahino mein maine tumhe nahi daanta aur na kisiki side li '' she spoke in a sad tone remembering something.

"Ahana.. Jab responsibility aa jaati hai toh insaan badal hi jaata hai" Virat said briefly.

She looked at him and asked "itna badal jaata hai ki khudko hi kho de?"

Virat was silent for a moment, he then passed her a smile "Aisa nahi hai.. Tum janti ho business mein kitna stress hota hai aur wo bechara thak ke aage mood mein nahi hota na masti karne ke" he said.

But, Ahana was not convinced and scolded him "it's your fault.. Khud ko yahan rehte ho aur bechare mere devar ko business mein laga diya"

"Are maine kaha lagaya? Usne khud join kiya hai aur maine toh kitni baar kaha hai usse ki mujhe office jaane de par wahi nahi jaane deta.." he reminded her..

Ahana sighed in disappointment. "I miss my devar"

He held her hand and spoke "ek baar iss bache ko aane do phir dekhna kaise wo pehle ki tarah ghar mein bacha banta firega"

Ahana smiled hearing his words, while Virat thought "uske badalne ki wajah toh main ache se jaanta hun.. Kaash tum samajh paati uska pyaar Manvi ke liye"

Aarav's POV

It has been six months, since my separation from Manvi. I resigned from her company because I can't work in front of her as an employee.

How can I do that? The person whom I love beyond the world to be my boss only. Then, I won't have control over my emotions, feelings and may end up hurting my bhabhi who is in the stage of pregnancy. That's why I decided, I won't even keep the boss and employee relation with Manvi.

I tried to forget her and smile but failed. I loved to tease her and irritate her, now with whom should I do?

I missed her and especially Khushi every single day, so decided to join the business. Because, if I had stayed home Ahana would have caught my lie. I spent most of the time in the office and work.

I assured Virat, I will handle everything as it will be a new experience for me and he must be with Ahana for 24 hours.

If Virat had attended a few conferences, then I was with her to take care of her. Just then the manager entered my chamber.

He asked me "Sir BlueWhales MNC se meeting hai kal regarding the deal shall I confirm it?"

I looked up at him and nodded in yes.

My phone buzzed and it was Ahana calling, I picked up the call "ji bhabhi.." I said.

"Aarav it is 7 pm already ghar kab aa rahe ho?" she asked.

"Bas bhabhi abhi aata hun" I replied..

"Niklo abhi.." she ordered.

I can't deny her and obeyed her order. I turned off the laptop and stepped out of the chamber. I gave a few instructions to the manager.

He said "Sir.. kal kar dunga.. It's late now"

"Fine then but subah mere table pe hona chahiye" I said in a bossy tone and left the office.

I came to the beach and sat on the stone staring at the ocean. The memories haunted me, a smile curved my lips seeing her in front of me and then disappearing. All this, I can't show in front of Vihana that's why every day I spend an hour sitting here in a wave of peace.

My phone buzzed again, I saw the caller ID "bhabhi..." I answered "haan bhabhi traffic hai bas pahuch raha hun" and ended the call.
