Aarav's POV

I was the happiest person today. She accepted my love and we even spent the beautiful moment together. This seemed like a dream to me, love is just beyond the world and I proved it.

I then thought about Ahana and Virat, they will understand hopefully. They love me more than anything in the world but before informing them I have to convince Manvi's daughter.

It will take time to win her heart, I just hope she understands our love. I will have to become her friend first then father.

Khushi said I am a great friend and I hope I share the same bond with Manvi's daughter as I share with Khushi.

I opened my wardrobe and thought about what to wear? The first impression is the last impression and I don't want a bad impression on Manvi's daughter.

I wanted everything to be perfect.

Ahana entered the room and asked "Aarav kaha jaa rahe ho?"

I turned to her and smiled "bhabhi.. Date par"

Her face glowed.. "What?? Tumhari boss maan gayi?"

I hide my face in between my palm, how should I tell her what happened last night.

"Are.. tum toh aise sharma rahe ho jaise sab kuch ho gaya?" she asked.

I tried to hide my smile and said normally "bhabhi.. Please batao na kya pehennu?"

She pushed me aside and selected a jeans shirt for me. I smiled.. "Bhabhi aapki choice best hoti hai" I spoke.

"Aur main umeed karti hun tumhari choice bhi best hogi" she said..

I nodded in yes and pushed her out of the room as I needed to change.

I quickly wore my clothes then combed my hair looking into the mirror.

I was dreaming about Manvi and closed my eyes."haaye.."

Ahana shouted "Aarav.. Din mein sapna dekhna band karo"

I bit my tongue out, my bhabhi knows me well. I moved out of the room and she pulled my cheek.

"Mera pyaara devar.."

I questioned her "bhabhi am I a kid?"

"Haa.. ho mere liye toh tum ab bhi bacho ho tumhare bhaiya ke liye nasamjh ho" she informed..

Virat came in and asked "kidhar chali sawari?"

"Bhaiya.. Main ek ache kaam ke liye jaa raha hun" I said.

"Tune kabhi acha kaam kiya hai?" Virat asked, giving me a look.

I was shocked hearing him.. "Haww.. sabse acha kaam toh yeh hai na..bhagwaan ne mujhe bheja aapka chota bhai banake" I said, winking at me.

"Nahi ye sabse bura kaam kiya hai" Virat said slapping my cheek.

Ahana argued "no Virat.. Tum aise nahi bolo.. Jab dekho bechare ke peeche pade rehte ho.."

"Maine toh sach hi bola" Virat replied.

I sighed.. "Bhaiya bhabhi aaj nahi main late ho raha hun" I said.

"Haan jao.. All the best" Ahana wished me luck and I needed it today as I am going to meet Manvi's daughter.

I left the house and drove off to Manvi's house. I needed help and my little friend can help me. I called her, she picked up the call in a few rings.

"Khushi.. Dost madad kar meri please" I said.

"Haan dost bolo kya hua?" she asked.

"Tumhe kya kya pasand hai? I mean sab bacho ko toh ek jaisi cheez pasand hoti hai na" I spoke assuming it.

"Haan dost.. Waise mujhe toh ice-cream bahut pasand hai aap jante ho, then soft toys toh har bacho ka favourite hota hai infact meri mumma ka bhi hai" she informed.

I was surprised hearing it, in fact Manvi also liked soft toys. I smiled and ended the call "Thanks meri jaan.. Love you"

I went to the shop and bought a teddy bear. Then, I headed to the ice-cream shop and bought a butterscotch ice-cream box.

Manvi's POV

Aarav was coming home, but there was no use as I know Khushi won't agree to our alliance. It is so difficult to convince Khushi then convincing Di, Jiju and his family will be climbing the mountain.

I was sitting on the couch and Khushi was walking to and fro the hall. She ordered me "wo aayega toh aap kuch nahi kahogi Khushi uska test legi samjhe aap"

I shook my head in yes. Sometimes, I feel I am not her mother, she is mine. The doorbell rang, I stood up but stopped when Khushi gave me an anger look.

I smiled and sat back quietly. Khushi went and opened the door.

Aarav's face was hiding behind the big teddy bear he was holding.

Khushi asked, "ye kya hai??"

"Aapke liye gift.." he said but paused when he glanced at Khushi.

Khushi and Aarav were staring at each other shockingly. I was puzzled, Khushi let him in and he kept the teddy bear at the corner and the ice-cream box on the dining table.

He glanced at Khushi, she ran to him and hugged him tightly calling him "dost.."

I was left astonished hearing it. Aarav smiled and ruffled her hairs "meri nanhi si dost.. Kaisi hai?" he asked.

Khushi replied to him "Ek dum mast.. Par main aapse naraz hun itne din ho gaye aur aap khushi se mile hi nahi"

"Sorry.. Par tumhe toh pata hai na meri khadoos boss ke baare mein unhe manane mein laga hua tha main" Aarav informed.

I was left dumbstruck hearing him.

"Oh.. khadoos aunty... waise main bhi busy thi apni mumma ke change behaviour ko study karne mei" Khushi informed.

My head started to spin, hearing their conversation. Was this their first meeting or not? I was so much bewildered. Both of them had completely forgotten about me. I am sitting down in front of them but they are not reacting.

Khushi said "ek minute.. Aap yahan kya kar rahe ho?"

"Ye sawal main aapse karna chahta hun aap meri khadoos boss ke ghar kya kar rahe ho?" Aarav questioned her.

"Ye meri mumma ka ghar hai" Khushi informed.

"Aur ye meri girlfriend ka ghar hai" he informed.

Both of them then finally realised, both of them were talking about me. They eyed me and then burst out laughing.

They dropped down on the floor and laughed hard. I smiled seeing them and realised they knew each other for a long time. But how? How come I was not aware of it? Then I remembered Khushi talking about her dost.

It was Aarav, who gave her advice. How did they meet? I had lots of questions.

I finally broke my silence and said "tum dono ek dusre ko pehle se jaante ho? Kaise?"

Khushi and Aarav stood up, Khushi eyed towards the butterscotch ice-cream. She laughed.. "Oh god dost.. Aapne mujhe hi impress karne ke liye mujhse hi pucha bacho ko kya pasand hai"

"Haa.. aur maine tumse hi pucha kaise tumhari mumma ko muskurana sikhaya jaaye" Aarav said and they shared a high-5.

I sighed, they were ignoring me for the past 20 minutes.

"mujhe to gyan de rhi thi Aarav aayega to test legi par uske aate hi mujhe bhool hi gayi.. Aur ye Aarav bhi mujhe ignore kar raha hai" I murmured..

I glanced at them and said "suno dono.."

But they were busy talking to each other.

I finally came to my arrogant mode and shouted "chup karo dono"

They glanced at me silently, I glared at Aarav "tum idhar aake baitho"

He silently walked and sat on the couch. I ordered to Khushi "tum ice-cream fridge mein rakho aur baitho uske paas jaake"

Khushi obeyed me but instead of keeping the ice-cream in the fridge. She took the spoon and sat beside Aarav.

Aarav opened the box and both of them were eating the ice-cream childishly. I was left with an open mouth.

I stood in front of them "ye kya hai?? Saara dabba kha jaoge kya??"

"Mumma dost khane ke liye ice-cream laaye hai na" she informed.

"Exactly Manvi.. Tum bhi kha sakti ho" he offered me a scoop.

I glared at him and signalled him to immediately close the box. Aarav sighed and closed the box. He said to Khushi "beta aap isko fridge mein rakhdo warna aapki mumma hum dono ko kha jayegi"

Khushi agreed and kept the box into the fridge. I finally questioned them "kaise jaante ho tum dono ek dusre ko?"

Aarav smiled and informed "aapko yaad hai accident?"

I nodded in yes..

"Mumma Khushi ko inhone hi toh bachaya tha.. Yahi toh mere dost hai jisne khushi sab share karti hai aur jinse chupke chupke milne bhi jaati thi" she finally confessed and I was shocked knowing the truth.
