Manvi's POV

I returned home after giving Aarav his reappointment letter. I sat down on the couch, holding my head as I was stressed due to heavy workload. Ruhana came and sat beside me, she gave me a glass of water.

I smiled and drank the water keeping the glass on the table. She questioned "sorry bola?"

I sighed and said "de diya reappointment letter"

Ruhana questioned again "Did you say sorry?"

I kept my head on her lap and closed my eyes as I was feeling pain in my head. She caressed my head and said "nahi bola.. Khadus ho gayi hai tu"

I just smiled at her words, her soft touch made me relax. I thought something and I asked her, "Am I a good mother Di?"

She was surprised to hear me. "Ye kaisa sawal hai mannu?" she questioned back.

"Batao na di" I requested her.

"Of course, you are mannu Khushi ko tune akele sambhala hai and she is so matured.. Then how are you not a good mother?" she exclaimed.

I looked up at her and said "sachi na?"

She lightly hit my head "main kabhi jhooth nahi bolti hun.." she said with a smile.

I held her hand and put it close to my heart "but without you and jiju possible nahi hota.. You will be with me na always?" I asked.

"Haa hamesha" she assured me and I closed my eyes and tears escaped down my eyes.

After a long time, I had a moment with my sister.

Khushi's POV

I, Avni Di and Vineet Papa returned home after the street food treat. I saw mumma sleeping in Ruhana's maasi lap. I adored the moment, I noticed the tears in her eyes. Avni Di shrugged my shoulders and I went upstairs with her.

I signalled Di to move in and I will join her in some time. I heard the conversation between RuVi.

Ruhana spoke "Vineet.. Kya humhe iski dusri shaadi ke baare mein nahi sochna chahiye tha?"

"Socha toh tha Ruhana, aur kitna kaha bhi tha isse par ye hi taiyar nahi thi" he reminded her.

"Wahi toh baat hai Vineet, ye ladki sunti nahi hai meri iski zid ke aage haar gayi main warna kabki shaadi kara deti" Ruhana replied.

"I miss my old, shararti muskurati hui behen jo kaam ke bhaag daud mein kho gayi" she said with her eyes turning moist.

Vineet assured her "sab thik hoga Ruhana, khushi hai na iski kami puri karne ke liye"

Ruhana smiled "wo toh hai.. Acha tum please khana lelo aur bacho ko bhi khilado I don't want to disturb her sleep.." she said.

He nodded in yes.

I smiled broadly and went upstairs "don't worry Maasi khushi hai na.. Dhundh legi mumma ki khoyi hui smile mission finding mumma ke liye dulha begins"

Avni Di snipped fingers in front of me. I glanced at her and smiled.

"Madam kya chal raha hai tumhare shaitani deemag mein?" she asked, raising her eyebrow.

"Kuch nahi Di" I replied.

Avni Di gave me the look "Are bata na.. I will help you"

I can't hide anything from her, she is not just my elder sister but my best friend too. I revealed to her my plans for Mumma.

She gave me a shocking look and then hugged me from behind "meri khushi itni samajhdar hai?"

I smiled and nodded in yes "haan Di, Khushi is intelligent promise me jabtak humhe mumma ke liye koi milta nahi aap maasi ya bade papa ko nahi bataogi?" I asked turning towards her.

She tends to be thoughtful, I passed her a look.

She then ruffled my hair and agreed "okay meri jaan.."

I pouted in irritation "Don't touch my hair"

Avni again moved her hands in between my hairs and ran out of the room. I followed her and shouted "Di ruko.."

Just then Vineet stopped our chase "shh... tumhari sadu mumma uth jayegi" he said.

I giggled hearing him, while Ruhana passed a glare at him.

"Papa.. aapne mumma ke saamne maasi ko sadu kaha.. Aaj aapki khair nahi" Avni said in a whispering tone.

"Wo main dekh lunga.. Chalo dinner karlo" he said, taking them to the dining table and they had the dinner together.

I glanced at my mother, she finally opened her eyes and shouted "9 baj gaye hai? Di.. aapne mujhe uthaya kyun nahi? Aise kaise so gayi main? And abhi presentation bhi baaki hai.."

I sighed in disappointment "ho gaya shuru..mumma ka"

"Hey bhagwan shant.. Chup chap dinner kar aur room mein jaake kar jo karna hai ye mera ghar hai samjhi yahan bas main chilla sakti hun" Ruhana said scolding her.

Manvi stood silently, I was hiding her smile as Maasi can only make her quiet. She came to the dining table with Ruhana and sat down.

Avni Di whispered in my ear "tujhe bhi aisi daant lagaugi main"

I replied "main mumma ki tarah sadu aur khadoos nahi hun"

Avni Di and I had a light conversation over a school topic. Sunday was arriving and I demanded "bade papa.. Maasi sunday picnic"

"Haan chalte hai" Vineet agreed.

"Khushi, pehle maasi se toh puchle" Avni suggested.

"Usse kya puchna hai? Uski himmat nahi hai ki wo apne jiju ko mana kar sake" Ruhana replied at Manvi.

Manvi passed her a look.. "Jo karna hai kijiye" she replied.

I hit the spoon on the table in happiness "yaay..."

Then I realised about my dost, I want to meet him tomorrow and I eyed Avni Di, she assured me tomorrow they will meet. Manvi went to the room to finish her work while everyone else watched the movie.

I was now determined to find someone for my mother who can make her live life again and love her.

The next day, Vineet and Manvi left for their respective office. I and Avni Di took permission from Ruhana to go to Avni's friends' house.

Malhotra's House

Aarav's POV

I saw my strict, arrogant boss in a red saree with her long hair left open. She was looking so beautiful, I heard an unknown sound and opened my eyes realising it was my dream again. I sat up and smiled to myself "haaye.. Jaane ye sapna kab pura hoga" I said dreamily.

Just then Ahana sat beside me and glanced at me. I smiled at her "Good morning bhabhi" I wished her.

"Good morning Aarav Chalo fresh ho jao fatafat.. Tumhe phir nashta karke medicine leni hai doctor will come to change your dressing" She said briefly.

I sighed and got down from bed, I went to the bathroom. After about an hour, I stepped out and went to the hall. I sat for the breakfast at the dining table.

I glanced at Virat and signalled him to ask Ahana to give me permission to go to office.

He passed me a denial look. I shot an innocent look at him.

He sighed and I smiled.

Virat eyed at Ahana and said "Ahana.. I was saying Aarav ko office jaane dete hai.. Ghar mein waise bhi isne masti karni hai"

Ahana shot a deadly glare at Virat and scolded him "how dare you even say that to Virat?? Didn't I made it clear wo agle 4 din tak kahi nahi jaa raha hai"

"Are but.. He is fine itni si chot se ise kuch nahi hota hai" Virat said poiting towards me.

Ahana argued with him "shut up Virat, itni si chot nazar aa rahi hai tumhe? He got stitches on his head and broken hand tumhe apne bhai se zara bhi pyaar nahi hai"

Virat eyed me and I apologized with my eyes.

"Pyaar hai.. Isliye toh iski baat maanta hun aur phir tumse daant khata hun" he said meaningfully.

Ahana was shocked, she looked at me and I made an innocent face "bhabhi main toh kuch bola hi nahi... kal aapne mana kiya tha na.."

Virat was left with an open mouth, Ahana turned to Virat and said "Virat.. Tum na jab dekho bechare ko pareshan karte rehte ho very bad"

Aarav was hiding his smile, he enjoyed the moment. Virat sighed.. "Tum dono bhabhi devar mujhe paagal kar doge.. Kuch zyada hi sar chada rakha hai tumne Aarav ko Ahana" he said.

"Haan toh kyun na chadau?? Taaki tum isko apni tarah ek khadoos businessman banado? Huh.." Ahana argued..

Virat ate breakfast and said "aage ki mahabharat sham ko karenge.. Chale abhi office?" he asked.

Ahana nodded.. "Aati hun bag leke apna" she said calmly and went to the room.

Virat glared at Aarav.. "Tujhe toh main sham ko dekhta hun.."

Aarav laughed out loud "Dekh lena bhai.. Main isi ghar mein hun"

Ahana returned after 5 minutes, she gave instructions to Aarav. He agreed and Vihana left for office.

After an hour, the doorbell rang. Aarav shouted "Maria.. Open the door"

Maria, the servant, opened the door and Khushi entered the house. She went to Aarav and hugged him tightly. He was surprised at her actions and asked her the reason why she is upset?

She reveals something to which he was left surprised.
