Continuation of previous chapter :
Breaking their hot, intense kiss after what felt like eternity, Veer cupped her face and joined their foreheads together with his eyes closed. Bani was in daze as it was their longest makeout session ever. Veer slowly opened his one eye to peek at her and when he realised she stilled there with her eyes closed, he sighed and opened his both eyes with a relief.
Veer : Baby? Are you okay? (He asked with concern)
Bani : Hmmm. (She responded in a daze)
Veer smirked at her reaction and mentally patted himself for successfully distracting his stubborn wife.
Veer's mind voice : Yes!!! I guess she won't bring again about that stupid decision of hers after thi- (He stopped when Bani opened her eyes and moved away from him) No no no! God, please do this favour for me and I promise I will never ask you anything else after today. Please make her drop her decision and let her stay with me always. Please, please, please.
Bani cleared her throat and he snapped out from his secret prayers.
Bani : I...I think we should leave now, Veer. (She said without meeting his eyes)
Veer's mind voice : Thank you so much for showing your concern, God. I hate you!
Bani : Veer?
Veer : Baby, please can we stay together at least for tonight?
Bani : Pfft, not again, Veer. Let's leave now. Come on, get up and pack your bags quickly.
Veer : But- (He stopped when Bani glared at him)
Bani : You got what you want, right? Now it's time for you to fulfil my wish too. Drop me at my home and go back to Singhania mansion.
Veer : Okay, fine! You are as stubborn as a mule. (He grumbled and walked into the living room)
Sighing exasperatedly, Bani followed him to the living room but not before glancing at the mirror to adjust her clothes and hair to look presentable.

In the car :
Bani : Can you stop making that face now? You are looking like a constipated monkey. (She scowled looking at his grumpy face)
Veer : Why do you care? Let me be the way I want. Anyway, you are not going to call off your decision considering my lack of approval and interest in it, are you? (He rolled his eyes)
Bani : But we had already discussed about it, right? Now what's the point on arguing like this? Just relax and be normal, Veer. It's just a matter of one month.
Veer : Right. Just a matter of one month. Bloody one whole month. (He mumbled)
Bani : Veeranshu..
Veer : What? Did you drop the plan? Shall we go back to our apartment? (He asked sarcastically)
Bani sighed heavily and face-palmed.
Bani : I wanted to ask you to drive fast to my parents' house as they are going for a party so I have to be at home with bhabhi before they leave.
Veer nodded curtly and accelerated towards Sharma mansion.

Vani reached the Sharma mansion and Bani immediately got down from the car after giving him a quick goodbye hug. Veer also got down and called her when she was literally running into the house.
Veer : Bani?
Bani stopped in her tracks but didn't turn back to him.
Bani's mind voice : Veer, please don't stop me now. Just leave from here. I'm already controlling myself from dropping my plan and running back to your arms. Please don't make it any harder than it already is. Go back! (She closed her eyes to control her tears from spilling out)
Veer walked towards her placing his hand on her shoulder, he turned her to face him.
Veer : Can I ask you something?
Bani nodded while staring at her feet. Veer cupped her face and kissed her forehead, letting his lips linger there for more than needed and she failed miserably to control her tears as they rolled down from her eyes.
Veer : Bani, please don't cry. You are making it harder for me to leave you. (He wiped her tears and Bani instantly pulled him into a bear hug)
Bani : Please go away from here. I don't want to regret my decision now. Please go away! (She sobbed and he tightened his arms around her)
Veer : Can I drop you at your room? I have to take my belongings too. I will leave immediately once I take my belongings, baby.
Bani hummed and broke the hug, wiping her tears. They walked into the house only to be greeted by her parents, Tapish and Meera. They informed their decision to them and they reluctantly agreed on Bani's insistence even though they were not happy with her decision. They tried to convince her but Veer stopped them much to Bani's surprise. He nodded at her reassuringly and they walked into her room.

Veer locked the door when they got into Bani's room. It baffled her when he pulled her suddenly, taking her into a hug in a swift motion.
Bani : Veer?
Veer : I'm going to miss you so much. (He kissed on her shoulder and Bani slowly patted on his back)
Bani : Just one month only, Veer. It will be over in the blink of an eye.
Veer : One whole month, Bani. (He reminded) How am I going to stay away from you for one whole month? You even restricted me from seeing you for one whole month. It's not an easy task to do.
Bani : We can do it, Veer. We will get used to it within a few days. (She broke the hug) Now go and pack your belongings first.
Veer opened his mouth to say something but he closed it when he realised it's not going to make any changes. He started packing his belongings while grumbling like a child. Bani sat there, observing how he was ever so slowly packing his belongings while stealing glances at her with his puppy face. He packed everything and sat beside her.
Bani : What now? Go, Veer.
Veer : Hmm can I ask you one more thing?
Bani : What is that now? (She asked, being irritated with his childish behaviour)
Veer : Can I feed you once before I leave? (He asked hesitantly and Bani gasped in shock)
Bani : Vee- (She was cut by him)
Veer : Please baby don't say no. Please. Please. Pleaseee?
Bani : Hmm okay. (She agreed as she was not able to resist his puppy face)
Veer : Thank you so much! (He squealed happily and rushed out to bring food for her)
Bani shook her head and went to change her clothes.

Veer fed her cheerily while grinning at her the whole time. Bani also fed him back to which he smiled contentedly.
Bani : Done. Are you happy now? (She asked when they were washing their hands in the kitchen)
Veer : Yes, very happy. Thank you, love. (He beamed with pleasure)
Bani : Okay, go now.
Veer : Hmm Bani?
Bani : Not again! (She gave him a pointed look)
Veer : Your parents and Tapish bhai are not here... and bhabhi is in her room. (He said with a glint of mischievous look on his face)
Bani : So what?
Veer : So... Can we spend some time together like doing something productive? (He smirked mischievously and Bani's eyes widened at it)
Bani : What the.... You know what? Just get lost! (She grabbed his arm and pushed him out from the kitchen)
Veer : Baby, listen to me first. Let's do something fruitful before we part ways.
Bani : Arghhh!! LEAVE! (She screamed at him and pushed him out of the house)
Veer : Bani yaar! This is not fair. At least give me my goodbye kiss.
Bani : No! Go away now! (She tried to close the door on his face but he stopped her)
Veer : Wait! My bag? I have to take my bag. (Saying this, he tried to enter but she stopped him)
Bani : Just wait here. I will bring it.
She ran upstairs to take his bag from her room while Veer stood there with a scowl adorned his face. He was planning for his next excuse when he felt something thrown at him. He stumbled but balanced his feet and held the bag which was thrown at him.
Veer : This is freaking rude! (He complained)
Bani : Go away. See you after one month. Bye!
Saying this, she tried to close the door but Veer was too quick to grab her hand and pulled her outside to which she collided with his chest. Aghast at his sudden action, she placed her palms on his chest to balance herself and glared at him.
Bani : What the hell ar- (She was cut by him)
Veer : I love you.
Bani's eyes softened and let out a sigh.
Bani : Vee-
Veer : I love you so much.
Bani : Oka-
Veer : I love you a lot.
Bani : I-
Veer : I love you more than you do.
Bani : Lis-
Veer : I love you to the- (Bani placed her palm on his lips)
Bani : Shut up and listen to me!
But instead of listening to her, he kissed the palm which was on his lips and Bani gasped in shock before withdrawing her hand.
Bani : Idiot! You are purposely doing this now, aren't you?
Veer : No. I'm going to miss you a lot, wifey. (He encircled his arms around waist and pulled her more closer to him)
Bani : It's getting late, Veer. Leave now.
Veer : I want my goodbye kiss. (He closed his eyes and pouted his lips, expecting her to kiss him)
Bani : Don't behave like a 5-year-old kid now.
Veer opened his eyes and gave her a down-mouth expression to which Bani huffed and pulled away from him.
Bani : Okay, fine. Don't show me that face again. (She rolled her eyes and cupped his face)

Veer grinned at her and immediately smashed his lips with hers. He nibbled on her lips, pulling her closer to him by her waist and another hand gently held her nape to deepen the kiss. Bani poked on his cheek to break the kiss but he was in no mood to break it any sooner. He teased her lips with his tongue and entered into her mouth when she parted her lips to breath. She gasped and tried to pull away but he didn't budge as he was too busy in tasting every corner of her mouth. He finally left her after what felt like forever and walked away to his car without sparing a glance at her as tears flowed down his eyes.

Two weeks later :
At 8 in the evening, Veer entered the Singhania mansion being completely exhausted as he had to attend back to back meetings since morning. His facial expression changed from exhaustion into irritation when he saw his mom feeding Sid at the dining table.
Veer : What are you doing here? (He asked Sid)
Sid ignored him and opened his mouth widely to let Chandrakala feed him the next morsel.
Veer : Mom, what is he doing here?
Chandrakala : He is eating dinner, Veer. (She answered nonchalantly)
Veer : Yeah thanks for informing the brand new information. (He rolled his eyes) I asked why? He usually goes to Bani's house right? Why is he here today?
Chandrakala : Is there any compulsion that he should go to Bani's house only?
Veer : Whatever. (He rolled his eyes again and walked to the stairs)
Chandrakala : Veer, freshen up quickly and come for the dinner. I have cooked your favourite chicken tikka and paneer makhani today.
Veer : Okay, mom. (He said in a dull tone and climbed the stairs)
Sid : What happened to him? It has been just two weeks only and he is already looking like a Devdas.
Chandrakala : He is missing Bani a lot.
Sid : Really? It was just two weeks only but just imagine how my didi felt when he avoided her for two months. (He huffed and Chandrakala slapped on his shoulder lightly)
Chandrakala : Keep quiet and eat now. He is already drowning in guilt.
Sid : You are a typical mother.
Chandrakala : Okay fine. Eat yourself. I'm not going to feed you anymore. (She tried to get up from there but Sid stopped her)
Sid : No, I'm sorry, aunty. I won't say anything about your dearest son after this. Please feed me, I have no energy left to eat myself.
Chandrakala chuckled at his antics and continued feeding him. Veer also joined them after he freshened up.
Veer : How's Bani there? (He asked Sid)
Sid : Huh? I guess you guys are not supposed to ask about each other's wellbeing? (He raised his eyebrow)
Veer : Arghh... at least tell me how is she doing there? She is back to her old self already?
Sid : I don't know and I won't tell you even if I know. (He shrugged making Veer to control a strong urge to bang Sid's head with the table)

Post dinner, Veer went to the study to complete his pending work when he heard Sid's voice near the door of his study. He rolled his eyes and tried to focus but couldn't do it since Sid was laughing loudly there. He exhaled in annoyance and walked to the door to close it when he heard Sid calling someone as didi on the call. Veer stopped there and decided to eavesdrop thinking it would be Bani's call.

Sid : How was the date last night, didi? Did you manage to impress him with the techniques I taught you yesterday? (He paused and continued) Oh really? Awww he is such a naughty guy, didi. I hope he didn't trouble you much last night.
Veer's eyes popped out and his right palm immediately went to hold his chest to prevent his heart from tearing apart.
Veer's mind voice : Date? Impress him? Did he mean that my wife went for a date with a guy last night?
Sid : What??? He kissed you? (He shouted excitedly)
Veer : Nooooo!!!!!!!!! (He screamed on top of his lungs, startling Sid and Sid's phone slipped away from his hand as a reflex)
Sid snapped his head towards Veer's direction and stared at him with wide eyes.
Sid : What's wrong with you, Mr Singhania? Why did you scream like that?
Veer : What's wrong with YOU? How could you encourage Bani to go for a date with another man when her husband is standing here alive?
Sid : So what? You guys are not together now. (He shrugged carelessly)
Veer : We are not divorced. We are just taking break from each other for a month. Anyway, who is that man? Whoever it is, I will make sure to dig his grave and bury him alive. (He gritted his teeth)
Sid : Actually why do you care? You aren't supposed to eavesdrop my conversation like that and who gave you the- (He gasped when he looked at his phone on the floor) What the hell! You broke my phone, Mr Singhania!!
Veer : Leave that crap aside and tell me with whom Bani went for the date last night?
Sid : What do you mean by crap? It is my one and only precious phone! (He whined like a baby and Veer rolled his eyes)
Veer : Arghhh, stop testing my patience, Sid! Tell. me. who. is. that. man. now! (He emphasized each word while gritting his teeth)
Sid : Why should I tell you? It's my didi's personal matter.
Veer : Your didi is my wife!
Sid : So?
Veer clenched his fist to refrain himself from breaking Sid's face which was not gone unnoticed by Sid. Sid's smirk widened seeing Veer's reaction.
Veer : You know what? Just get lost! I will ask this directly to Bani. (He took out his phone to call Bani but stopped when he realised something) Wait, what's her new number?
Sid : Find it yourself. And I hope you knew the consequences too. She will make sure to extend it for one more month if you ever try to contact her in this separation period.
Veer : Oh God! Why are you both are so complicated? You guys are making my life a living hell I swear. (He ran his fingers through his hair frustratedly and walked into the study room, slamming the door behind him)
Sid's mind voice : Yes!! Mission accomplished. Good job, Sid. (He patted himself proudly and took his phone from the floor) Thank God it's not broken. I have to inform didi about his reaction now.
