Continuation of the previous part :
Nisha finally crossed the dangerous jungle path and reached the main road. She was running a little far searching for someone to help her when she saw a vehicle from a long distance coming towards her. She immediately started waving her hands to stop the vehicle. The vehicle instantly accelerated towards her and soon she breathed a sigh of relief when she noticed it was a police jeep. She ran towards the jeep and simultaneously, the DCP got down and approached her.
Nisha : Sir, please help me. My friend is in danger. (She pleaded him, joining her hands together)
DCP : Ma'am, what are you doing here at this time? Why are you injured? What happened to your friend?
Nisha was about to answer the DCP when she saw another jeep stopped behind the DCP's jeep. Her eyes widened when she saw Sid rushing towards her. This was the first time for both of them to meet in-person but they knew each other because of Bani.
Nisha : You are Sid right?
Sid : Yes. You are Nisha di right?
Nisha : Yes, Sid. (She nodded vigorously and sobbed)
DCP : Siddharth, do you know her?
Sid : Yes, Sir. She is Bani didi's best friend. (He said and DCP nodded)
DCP : What happened, ma'am?
Nisha narrated them the whole happenings and they immediately rushed to save Bani after sending two police officers with Nisha to the hospital to treat her injuries.

On the other side, Bani escaped from the three men and bumped into something while running away from them. She looked in front and her eyes widened when she saw Dheeraj there. He quickly grabbed her arm before she could escape from him. Bani hissed in pain when he tightened his grip on her already injured elbow.
Dheeraj : Where are you trying to escape, baby girl? (He gritted his teeth)
Bani : Leave me please, Dheeraj! (She begged him)
Dheeraj : Why are you so dumb? You knew that I'm not going to leave you so why are you wasting your energy in pulling these types of stunts now?
Bani : Plea— (She was cut by him)
Dheeraj : Shut up!!!! (He roared angrily, making her flinch at his tone)
The three idiots came towards Dheeraj and Bani when they heard his voice. They sighed, seeing Bani under Dheeraj's grip.
Dheeraj : You three waste fellows!! Why are you here with empty hands? Where is the other girl? (He yelled at them)
Man 1 : Boss, we saw only this girl at the jungle. The other girl was not with her. (He explained, pointing at Bani)
Dheeraj : You son of a bitch! How dare you giving me excuses? Go and find for her right now or else just kill yourselves before I kill three of you in the most cruelest way ever! (He roared at them)
The three nodded in fear and immediately vanished from that place.

Bani was trying to release his grip from her both arms when he turned to her and grabbed her neck, leaving her arms. He smirked at her and slowly moved his hand towards the glass piece which was pierced on her cheekbone.
Dheeraj : How dare you trying to run away from me again, sweetheartttt? You have committed a big sin by doing so. It's time for me to give you a sweet punishment now. (Saying this, he took out the glass piece pierced on her cheekbone harshly and she screamed at the top of her lungs in pain)
Bani : Ahhhhh!!!!! No!!!! Stop it!!!! (She grabbed his both wrists, trying to release his grip from her neck)
Dheeraj laughed when she was crying in pain. She struggled beyond her strength to push him away but all her efforts went in vain. Suddenly they heard a noise out of the blue from behind him and he got distracted for a second. Bani used that opportunity to kick on his knee to which he loosened his grip on her neck and face involuntarily. She quickly pushed him away and ran into the building as it was the only option left for her. Dheeraj, who fell on the ground, groaned in frustration and immediately ran into the building.
Dheeraj : Sweetheartttt, where are you? (He cooed like speaking to a baby while walking like a predator waiting to catch its prey)
Bani hid behind a huge cupboard in one of the empty rooms. She covered her mouth with her palm to prevent herself from making noise. She sighed in relief when she heard his voice started to fade away. She closed her eyes and leaned on the wall when fresh tears rolled down her cheeks. Her cheekbone caused burning sensation when her hot tears rolled down the place where the glass piece was pierced previously. She controlled her sobs and was about to release her next breath when Dheeraj stood in front of her from nowhere.
Dheeraj : Caught you! (He shouted and pulled her out rudely by her arm)
Bani : Please Dheeraj I beg you! Please let me go. I promise I will never tell this to anyone. Please let me live! (She cried, joining her hands together)
Dheeraj : Tch tch tch.... How do you expect me to let you go that easily, my love? I already warned you to obey my orders without pulling any stunts but you being too stubborn were not ready to listen to me. I'm so done with you right now. You have played too much with me and now it's time for me to play with you. (He said the last part in husky tone while tracing his fingers on her neck)
Bani : Chi!!! Don't touch me with your filthy hands! (She slapped his hand away)
Dheeraj : Nahh, it's too early for you to say that, my love. Now see what I'm going to do to you. (He smirked at her before picking her up in his arms)
Bani : Leave me! Dheeraj! I swear I will kill you if you think about doing anything to me! Let me go! (She wriggled in his arms)
Dheeraj continued smirking at her and walked into another room. Bani gulped in fear when she realised it was a bedroom. He chuckled seeing her reaction and threw her on the bed in rough manner.
Dheeraj : Now let's see how you are going to escape from me. (Saying this, he tried to hover over her but Bani was quick enough to swap their position and grab his gun from his back and jumped away)

Dheeraj's eyes popped out from his sockets when he saw his gun in her hands which was pointed at him.
Dheeraj : No Bani! Give me back my gun!
Bani : I warned you before, Dheeraj! I will kill you if you think about doing anything to me!
Dheeraj : See, I'm not doing anything to you. I will let you go. Give that gun to me first. (He tried to get up from the bed but Bani pulled the trigger and he rooted to his place)
Bani : Don't move! Stay there! (She pointed the gun at his head)
Dheeraj : Okay! I'm not moving. Drop the gun there right now. I promise I won't do anything to you.
Bani : You still have the guts to order me? (She smirked at him)
Dheeraj : Hey wait, don't come near her. (He looked behind her and spoke)
It was enough to distract Bani as she turned to look behind her and Dheeraj quickly jumped on her. She fell down but her grip on the gun was too tight as she held it securely. She instantly turned and shot at his left shoulder. He let out a loud groan and tried to grab the gun from her but she shot him again involuntarily. She looked at him with wide eyes when he fell beside her.
Dheeraj : Swee...sweetheartttt. (He groaned in pain and slowly closed his eyes)
That's when she realised she shot him at his chest. She threw away the gun in fear and slowly brought her hands to his face.
Bani : Dheeraj? Dheeraj, open your eyes! (She patted on his face) No! This can't be happening. Dheeraj! Open your eyes please! (She shook his shoulders but there was no movement from him) Oh no! Did I kill him? (She looked at his chest and realised that she fired him exactly at the heart) Shit! Shit! Shit! Why did I shoot him? I didn't mean to do it! (She placed her fingers near his nose to check his breathing) No!!!! He is dead. How did I kill him? That was not my intention. I killed a person!!! (She stared at him in horror without even blinking her eyes)
A few minutes later, she heard a voice near the door. She turned and looked at the source of the voice and her eyes brimmed with tears. She instantly ran to the person and hugged him tightly.

Bani : Veer, I...I killed hi...him. I killed him! I don't know....I kill...killed him. (She kept repeating it while sobbing in his arms)
Tears rolled down Veer's eyes, looking at his sweetheart who was having fresh wounds along with blood stains all over her face. He blinked out the tears and held her tightly while staring at Dheeraj's body in shock.
Bani : I ki...killed him, Veer! I shot him and he is dead. I didn't do it wa...wantedly.
Veer : Baby, you please relax first. Shhh calm down. (He caressed her back and whispered sweet nothings to her)
Veer looked at Sid, the DCP and few other police officers with them. DCP nodded at him and signalled at Sid and the police officers to check on Dheeraj.
Bani : I killed him! He is dead! I shot him twice. (She broke the hug and stepped away from Veer)
Veer : Bani, please relax first. Let them confi— (He was interrupted by one of the police officer)
Police officer : Sir, he is no more. (He informed and Bani fell on her knees, crying out loudly)
Veer quickly ran towards Bani and embraced her. At that moment, even Sid forgot his duty as a police officer and rushed towards Bani as her little brother.
Sid : Didi, please don't cry. That's okay. He deserves this. Please don't cry for him. This is not your fault.
Bani : I killed him, Sid. He is no more. I shot him. I...I kil— (She breathed heavily when her vision got blurred) I killed him. (She murmured before she blacked out)
Veer : Bani?? Sweetheart? (He patted her cheeks)
Sid : Didi? Oh no! She passed out!
DCP : Mr Singhania, please take her to the hospital now. We will finish the formalities here first and join you there.
Veer : Okay, Sir. (He nodded at DCP and carried Bani in his arms)
Sid was about to follow Veer but the DCP stopped him.
DCP : Siddharth, make sure you investigate about this case as Assistant Commissioner, not as a brother to a sister. There are chances for her to be charged with this murder.
Sid : But Sir, I'm sure she shot him in self-defence.
DCP : Maybe. That's your duty to bring the truth out. Make sure you inquire those 3 criminals we caught just now too. You may start looking into this case from this moment. Remember, this is your first case. (He stated in an authoritative tone)
Sid : Yes, Sir. (He saluted and rushed out to reach Veer)
(A/N : So guys, that's how Dheeraj's chapter ends here. I know it might be disappointing as some of you asked me to let Sid or Veer save Bani from Dheeraj but I have already told you guys earlier that She is a Queen and a Queen knows how to protect herself)

A few days later.....
Bani slowly squinted her eyes when she felt a hand caressing her hair. Her eyes shot open when a glimpse of that night's incidents flashed before her eyes. She got up and looked around to see her mother smiling at her.
Bani : Mumma?
Tanvi : Bani? Beta, you have been sleeping since 5 hours. Come and have your dinner first.
Bani : You go first, mumma. I will freshen up and come down.
Tanvi : Okay beta, come fast. (She kissed her forehead and left)
Bani climbed down the bed and stood in front of the mirror. She stared at her face which had scars on her cheekbone and forehead. She brought her fingers to her face and caressed on the scars. Once again she got a glimpse of that night where she fell down and the glass pierced on her face when the three men chased her. Tears rolled down her cheeks when she remembered how she shot him to death. She was lost in her own thoughts when the door flew open revealing Veer, who had a worried look on his face.
Veer : Bani? (He walked to her and pulled her away from the mirror)
Bani just stared at him with a blank expression. Veer cupped her face and kissed on her eyes.
Veer : Will you go on a date with me tonight? (He asked with a charming smile)
Bani : No, I'm feeling sleepy. I guess I will sleep early tonight. (She stepped away from him)
Veer : Don't lie. Your mom just told me that you were sleeping continuously for 5 hours.
Bani : I'm still feeling sleepy. Please. (She avoided him and walked into the washroom)
Veer shook his head in defeat and sighed while sitting on the bed. Bani came out wiping her face with towel after few minutes. She ignored Veer's presence there and walked past him.
Veer : Sweetheart? (He grabbed her wrist)
Bani's eyes widened and she gasped in horror when she heard the word again. Veer cursed under his breath and left her wrist before cupping her face.
Veer : Shit! I'm so sorry, baby. I didn't mean it purposely.
Bani : It...it's okay. (She whispered and tried to move away but he just pulled her into a tight embrace)
Veer : Baby, please stop thinking about it. Try to move on from that incident as soon as possible. I want my old enthusiastic Bani back to me.
Bani remained silent and wrapped her arms around him. He smiled and tightened the hug.
Veer : I love you so much, Bani.
Bani : You don't deserve a murderer like me, Veer. (She said in an apathetic tone)
Veer broke the hug and looked into her eyes to find any kind of emotions in them but as usual she remained there with no expressions while staring at him blankly.
Veer : Stop it, Mrs Bani Veeranshu Singhania. You are not a murderer. Even the law declared that you shot him in self-defence so don't ever call yourself as a murderer.
Bani : But still I have killed a person. Who gave me the rights to take someone's life? I have committed a sin and I'm a sinner— (She was stopped by Veer who put her finger on her lips)
Veer : Bani! (He sighed) Baby, listen to me now. I'm warning you this will be the last time you repeat those words. I'm not going to tolerate it anymore if you call my wife as a murderer or a sinner! (He warned her in a strict tone)
Bani : Just stop it. (She pushed him slightly and walked away)
Veer : Bani! Wait!
He ran behind her and they both were greeted by their family at the drawing room. Bani has been staying in Sharma mansion since that incident took place and Veer also insisted to stay with her much to Bani's disapproval. Balwant and Chandrakala used to pay visits every evening. They all were trying their level best to change the traumatised Bani to her old self but still that night's events were haunting her constantly.

Bani was about to sit beside Chandrakala but Veer stopped her.
Veer : Uncle? (He called Aayush)
Aayush : Yes beta?
Veer : Can I take her out tonight? (He asked hesitantly, scratching the back of his neck)
Aayush : Beta, she is your wife. You can take her anywhere you want and you don't have to ask our permission for that. (He said and everyone chuckled at Veer)
Veer : Yes! Thank you so much, uncle. (He walked towards Bani and forwarded his hand) Shall we go, swee... gharwali?
Everyone heaved a sigh of relief when he didn't complete the word 'sweetheart' as previously Bani tensed up whenever she heard the word. When they tried to find out the reason, she told them that it was the only word Dheeraj uttered while looking at her before he died.
Bani : No, I'm tired. (She turned away and Veer frowned in disappointment)
Tapish : Princess, come on don't be a spoilsport. Look at his puppy eyes. Even I'm also melting at it.
Veer : Love you bhai! (He literally jumped on Tapish and was about to kiss him but he stopped, realising his foolishness)
Tapish : Eww Veer! Just move away! (He shooed him away and Veer smiled at him sheepishly)
Veer : Bani, shall we go? (He forwarded his hand again)
Before Bani could answer him, they heard a voice approaching them. "Where are you guys going without me?" came a squeal from the new member who joined Sharmas and Singhanias a year ago.
Veer : That's it. Now she won't even look at me after this. (He muttered under his breath)
Tapish : Siddhu boy, they are going for a date and it won't be appropriate if you join them. Am I right, Veer? (He chuckled)
Sid : Date? Seriously? (He moved towards Veer and whispered) You didn't tell me that she has forgiven you. (He frowned)
Veer : She still has not forgiven me that's why I planned this date to seek for her forgiveness but you had to interfere and ruin my plans now. (He glared at him)
Sid : Is it? Let's see how she agrees in the first place. (He smirked)
Meera : Excuse me guys, we just want to inform that we could hear you both clearly.... Ermm including Bani too. (She interrupted them and pointed at Bani who was glaring at both Sid and Veer)
They both smiled sheepishly and Sid moved near Bani.
Sid : Aww didi I missed you so much. (He squeezed her in his arms)
Bani : Okay Sid, I missed you too but let me breathe please.
Sid : Oops sorry didi. (He broke the hug)
Veer : Hmm Bani, shall we go now?
Sid : No!
Veer : Shut up, Siddharth! I'm asking my wife, not you! (He snapped at him)
Sid : So what? I'm answering on her behalf.
Veer : You keep quiet first. And Bani, shall we go? Please? (He gave her a hopeful look)
Bani : Hmm... (She looked at him helplessly)
Sid : Don't go, didi. He is so rude. Don't forget how he prioritised his work before you.
Veer : Siddharth, what's your problem man? Why are you provoking her now?
Sid : Because I saw how much she suffered because of you, Mister! (He snapped at Veer)
Chandrakala : Yes Sid, you are right I support you. Bani, you don't have to forgive him that easily. Let him repent his mistakes first.
Veer : Mom! (He groaned)
Chandrakala : Don't talk to me!
Veer sighed and stood in front of Bani. He kneeled down and took her hands into his.
Bani : Veer, what are you doing? (She gasped in shock)
Veer : Baby, please give me a chance tonight. I just want to spend some time with you. Just you and me tonight. Please? (He showed his puppy eyes)
Bani : Hmm okay Veer, I will come with you. Please get up now.
Veer : Really? (His eyes widened in excitement)
Bani : Yes.
Sid : Didi, this is not fair.
Veer : You shut up! (He glared at Sid and dragged Bani with him after taking his car keys)
