Continuation of previous chapter :
Bani bumped into a person and the person quickly held her by her waist to prevent her from falling down. Bani closed her eyes in the fear while waiting for her body to touch the ground. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the person who was holding her in RK pose and at the same time Veer's cabin door opened.

Sid : Shit!!! Wrong timing dude! (He murmured to himself)
Veer came out and the next second his eyes widened in shock when he saw Bani in a person's arms.
Veer : What the hell is going on here? (He yelled and that person immediately made Bani to stand on her own feet and moved away)
Bani turned and looked at Veer whereas he was shooting daggers at her and that person.
Bani : Harsh? Hmm Hi. (She gave an awkward smile to him)
(A/N : If you guys don't remember who is Harsh then please go to Chapter 15 for the clue)
Harsh : Hi sweetheart. I'm glad you still remember me. (He forwarded his hand for a handshake)
Sid's mind voice : Sweetheart? Damn!! The guts of this man. (He turned to look at Veer) Oops this possessive Singhania is glaring at him. I'm sure there will be dead body here today.
Veer went near Bani and Harsh whereas Harsh was waiting for Bani to give her hand for the handshake. Bani slowly forwarded her hand but Veer interfered and pulled Bani towards him by wrapping his arm around her waist.
Veer : Hello, Mr Harsh Chopra. Good to see you again. (He gave him a fake smile)
Harsh : Hello, Mr Veeranshu Singhania. Happy married life to you and Bani. (He smiled at Bani and she grinned at him to irritate Veer)
Bani : Hey, Harsh. Thank you and how are you? It has been a long time. (She moved away from Veer's grip)
Harsh : Oh yes, I'm doing well and I was out of the country for few months. So how's your married life going? I thought you guys were just friends. This was totally unexpected. (He chuckled)
Bani : Well, you know...hmm... expect the unexpected. (She shrugged and chuckled)
Harsh : Hmm I got it. Actually I wanted to.... (He was cut by Veer)
Veer : So Mr Chopra, may I know what brings you here?
Sid's mind voice : Wow straight to the point. You are inspiring me my dear Bil.
Harsh : Oh actually I'm here to invite Mr Aayush Sharma and Mr Balwant Singhania on behalf of my dad for our new branch inauguration.
Veer : Oh okay. Go straight and turn left. Their cabin is there.
Harsh : Alright, thank you. And Bani, please wait for me here I will be back in a while.
Bani : Yeah sure, Harsh. (She said excitedly and Veer glared at her)
Harsh walked away from there and Sid went near Vani.

Veer : What are you doing here? (He raised his eyebrow)
Bani : Huh? I... I don't remember. (She said while thinking why she was there as she forgot)
Sid's mind voice : Phew, thank God she forgot why she came here or else this angry bird would bury me alive. (He breathed a sigh of relief whereas Bani was thinking why she was there)
Veer : Oh so you forgot everything after seeing your so called ex boyfriend here. Am I right?
Bani : Excuse me? What do you mean by my so called ex boyfriend? (She raised her eyebrow)
Veer : Then what else? You went for a date with him when we were in Goa. Don't you remember that?
Sid : Didi? Is it true? He is your ex boyfriend? (He asked in amusement)
Veer turned and looked at Sid. He was not aware of Sid's presence there until that.
Veer : And what are you doing here? (He asked Sid)
Sid : Nothing. I just came here to search for my didi.
Veer : Why? You can't stay without her is it?
Bani : Veeranshu!!! What's your problem now? If you are angry then just show it to me but not to Harsh or Sid.
Veer : Siddharth, go back to her cabin now. (He ordered him)
Sid looked at Bani and she nodded her head.
Sid : Alright then. (He walked away)
Bani : What's your problem, Veer?
Veer : Just shut up and come with me. (He held her hand and dragged her into his cabin)

Inside Veer's cabin :
Veer : What the hell were you doing in his arms, Bani? What was that?
Bani : So you don't trust me right?
Veer : I always trust you more than I trust myself. Now don't divert the topic and come to the point first. What. were. you. doing. in. his. arms? (He emphasized each word in his last sentence)
Bani : I bumped into him when I was coming to your cabin so he just held me to prevent me from falling down.
Veer : Where were your eyes that time? How can you just bump into him? Was he invisible to you?
Bani : What the hell!!! Stop interrogating me like a police officer, Veer! I didn't commit any crime for you to treat me like this! (She snapped back angrily)
Veer : Okay I'm sorry. (He sighed)
Bani : What sorry? And what did you say there? He is my ex boyfriend huh? Did I tell you that he is my boyfriend last time? Did you see me dating him? I just met him only thrice and yo.... (She stopped yelling as Veer pressed his lips on hers)
Bani's eyes widened and she started hitting him on his chest to push him away but Veer pushed her against the door and pinned her hands above her head. She slowly closed her eyes and started responding to the kiss. He held her both wrists with one hand and cupped her face with another hand to deepen the kiss. Both nibbled on each other's lips and Bani bit on his lower lip aggressively. He groaned before leaving his grip on her wrists and bit back her lower lip to which she moaned softly. Both started fighting for dominance and finally Veer gave up as Bani was pouring her anger on the kiss. After taking their long and sweet time, they finally broke the kiss when their lungs burned out of air. Veer cupped her face and joined their foreheads while panting heavily.

Veer : I'm sorry, gharwali.
Bani : I'm sorry too, gharwale.
Veer raised his eyebrow confusedly. He grabbed her by her waist and pulled her closer.
Veer : What did you say? Gharwale?
Bani : You called me gharwali so I called you gharwale. (She blushed)
Veer : Ahaan. (He smirked and nuzzled into her neck)
Bani : Veer, stop it. It's office. (She tilted her neck to give him more access)
Veer : But your actions are saying something else.
He smirked while nibbling on her sweet spot.
Bani : Veer. (She moaned)
Veer : Stop moaning sweetheart. It's turning me on. (He bit hard on her neck)
Bani : Ahhh idiot!! Get lost! (She pushed him away and rubbed the place he bit)
Veer : I marked you as mine.
Bani : Is it? Come, let me mark you as mine now. (Saying this, she pulled him and bit his neck violently)
Veer : Ouch that hurts!
He pouted and Bani smirked at him. He scooped her in his arms and placed her on the couch before hovering over her.
Bani : Veer, this is cabin not our bedroom. Leave me. (She tried to push him away but he didn't budge an inch)
Veer gazed into her eyes intensely while leaning in to take her lips again but unfortunately a knock on the door broke their moment. He groaned frustratedly and pulled away from her.
Bani : Wait don't open yet. (She held his hand and stopped him)
She adjusted her hair and straightened her clothes.
Bani : Am I looking presentable now?
Veer : Now better. (He said after adjusting her collars)
Bani : Okay bye. See you later. (She gave him a quick hug and left his cabin while Veer's PA entered in)

At Bani's cabin :
She entered in and Sid started bombarding her with questions.
Sid : Didi, what took you so long? What were you guys doing inside his cabin?
Bani : Nothing. Oh yes actually we were discussing about a project.
Sid : Really? Then why are your lips swollen? (He smirked at her and Bani lowered her head to hide her blush)
Bani : Shut up and just carry on with your work.
Sid : What work? You didn't give me any work, didi.
Bani : Oh yeah I want you to prepare.... (She was cut by a knock on the door)
Bani : Yes, come in.
The door opened revealing Harsh there. He walked in with a grin on his face.
Bani : Hey hi Harsh, take your seat.
Harsh : Thank you, Bani. And who is this? (He asked, looking at Sid)
Bani : Oh he is.... (She was cut by Sid)
Sid : Let me introduce myself, didi. Hi, I'm Siddharth, her PA and adopted brother. (Bani chuckled at his last two words and Harsh looked at both of them confusedly)
Harsh : Adopted brother?
Bani : Harsh, just forget it. He is just kidding.
Sid : No, don't forget it. I'm her brother. You must remember me the next time I see you.
Harsh looked at Sid in amusement. He wondered from where Bani found this nutcase.
Bani : Sid, keep quiet for a while. And Harsh, sorry for the trouble.
Harsh : No, that's okay. Actually he is kinda funny guy. Hi, nice to meet you Mr?
Sid : Siddharth. I just told you my name. Don't forget it again.
Harsh chuckled at him whereas Bani rolled her eyes.
Bani : Sid, can you please keep quiet for a while? Let him talk first. Don't waste his time.
Sid : Oops okay I'm sorry. (He moved to the couch and sat there with his laptop)
Harsh : Hey, it's okay. I'm afraid he might get upset with you.
Bani : No, that's alright. So Harsh, how's your life?
They both had their casual conversation with Sid's interference in between for about half an hour and then Harsh decided to leave as he had some urgent work. Bani and Sid got back to their work.

Around 6pm, Bani and Sid were packing their things when Tapish barged into the cabin.
Tapish : Bani, you are crossing your limits now.
Bani : What did I do now? First of all, where are your manners? Don't you know how to knock the door?
Tapish : I learned this manners from my sister who used to barge into any room without knocking the door.
Bani : Fine, tell me what's your problem now?
Tapish : Why did you tell Meera that I'm flirting with my employees here?
Sid chuckled when Tapish asked that and both of the siblings glared at him. He lifted his hands in the air as he surrendered.
Tapish : Answer me now, Bani!
Bani : I just told her the truth. You are flirting with the intern girls nowadays, aren't you? I saw it many times.
Tapish : Idiot, I was not flirting with them. It's my job to evaluate the interns' performances everyday and report to their respective colleges.
Bani : So that doesn't mean you can flirt with them. That day I saw you asking an intern girl to change her lipstick shade and the other day you complimented the other girl for wearing traditional attire. I have been noticing all of it so I told this to bhabhi to let her know about your deeds here. (She explained in a nonchalant tone)
Sid : Wow Tapish bhai, you don't seem like that but you are a true flirty. (He snickered)
Tapish : Shut up, Sid. And Bani, stop assuming things yourself. I asked that girl to change her lipstick shade because she was wearing dark red shade and looked like a vampire. And the other day I complimented the girl you said as it was her birthday so I just told her that she was looking beautiful in her traditional attire.
Bani : Whatever. I don't care. (She rolled her eyes)
Tapish : If you don't care then just keep your mouth shut. Who the hell asked you to tell all these stupid stuffs to Meera? She called me and started crying as if I'm cheating on her.
Bani : Oh God!!! What kind of husband are you? You let your wife cry alone there and talking nonsense here? Go back home and convince my bhabhi first. (She said in a sarcastic tone)
Tapish : Stop it, Bani. I know why you are doing this. I will deal with you tomorrow! (He stormed out of her cabin while Bani had a victorious smirk on her face)
Sid raised his eyebrow at Bani and she just lowered her head.
Sid : Woah what was that, didi?
Bani : What?? (She asked innocently)
Sid : Why did you do that? As far as I know, Tapish bhai is not someone who would flirt with girls.
Bani : I knew that too.
Sid : Then why did you tell his wife like that?
Bani : It's just a small start in my revenge game. (She shrugged)
Sid : Revenge game? But why?
Bani : Ufff, stop asking too many questions now. You wanna come with me now or not?
Sid : Yes, I want.
Bani : Then shut up and follow me.
Sid zipped his mouth and followed her like an obedient kid.

They both reached a cafe which was near to their office as Veer was having an extra work so he stayed back in the office and Bani decided to spend her time with Sid until Veer completes his work.

At the cafe :
Bani : What do you want to order?
Sid : You sit here, didi. I will go and order for us.
Bani : Okay then I would like to have Chococino with extra milk.
Sid : Alright, didi.
He went to the counter to order their drinks and came back to her.
Bani : What did you order for you?
Sid : Cappuccino with an extra shot. (He answered while taking the seat in front of her)
Bani : Okay. Hmm Sid, can I ask you something?
Sid : Go ahead, didi.
Bani : Tell me about yourself. I mean about your family and all.
Sid : There's nothing to tell, didi. I have an elder brother and now you are my elder sister.
Bani : What about your parents?
Sid's face fell when she mentioned about his parents.
Sid : My mom passed away 4 years ago and dad is staying with his second wife and their sons now. (He said in a nonchalant tone but Bani was shocked with his revelation)
She got up and sat beside Sid. He fixed his eyes on the table as he was controlling himself from expressing his emotions. She wrapped her hand around his shoulder and he immediately leaned on her by placing his head on her shoulder.
Bani : I'm sorry, Sid. I didn't mean to... (She was cut by Sid)
Sid : My mom was an Angel, didi. She was my world. One day when I returned home from college, I was shocked that my relatives were gathered at my home. I went inside and saw my mom was sleeping in a coffin. I wasn't able to understand what happened to her because that morning she happily sent me to the college as usual and by evening she was no more. (Tears rolled down his cheeks and Bani patted his shoulder to soothe his pain)
Bani : It's okay, Sid. Shhh calm down. (She caressed his hair)
Sid : And you know what didi? It was not a natural death because my mom killed herself because of that man whom I should refer as my dad. He was cheating on my mom when she loved him truly. She killed herself when she learned that dad was having a second family. In this case, my mom was also selfish right didi? She didn't think about me or my brother but she just killed herself without letting us know about the pain she had been bearing inside her for many years. I always used to hear my parents fighting in their room but both of them didn't bring it out in front of us. After mom left, dad happily went and settled with his second family while my brother engrossed himself in his job and then he got married to my bhabhi and left the country. I was left alone here, didi. No one cared about me. (He started sobbing by the end and Bani instantly took him into a motherly hug)
Bani : It's okay Sid, please don't cry. I'm here for you. You are not alone, Sid. We all are here for you. Stop crying now. (She cupped his face and wiped away his tears)
Sid : I... I'm sorry, didi. I didn't mean to show you my vulnerability. I just lost my control and spilled out everything. (He quickly wiped away his tears and sat straight)
Bani opened her mouth to say something but she was stopped by the waiter who brought their order.
Bani : Thank you.
Waiter : Anything else, ma'am?
Bani : No thanks. We will let you know if we need anything. (The waiter nodded and left)
Sid : Wow my favourite cappuccino. I'm feeling so hungry now. (He said joyfully and started sipping his cappuccino)
Bani caressed his hair while staring at him in awe. She wondered many times that how could he be so enthusiastic and he always portrayed himself as the happy-go-lucky guy but no one knew that he was pretending that way to overcome his sorrow. She vowed to herself that she would never let him go in any situation and she would be there for him always as his sister and guardian.
Sid : Didi, it's getting late. Faster drink your chococino or else your possessive husband would turn into grumpy husband again. (He said making Bani chuckle at his statement)
Bani : Uff, stop teasing him always, Sid. He is not like what you think. (She smacked his head)
Sid : Yes, he is not like what I think. You are so kind and sweet so I thought your husband would be the same but he is always ready to bury me alive when he sees me around you.
Bani giggled at him and they went back to their office after finishing their drinks. Sid went back home by his bike whereas Bani waited for Veer.

Veer : What??? (He got up from his seat shockingly) When did you go there? What happened to you? Don't try to pull a stunt again, Bani!
Bani : Ufff, stop asking questions and come here before I die.
Veer : Before you die? What do you mean?
Bani : Ahhh Veer come fast!!! I'm dying already!! (Saying this, she cut the call)
Veer : Bani?? Hey?? (He checked the screen and realised that she cut the call)
