It was Monday morning when Bani and Veer reached their office. Veer parked the car and started walking towards the entrance whereas Bani was walking too slowly. He turned around and snickered at her walking style.
Bani : Shut up, Veer. I will kill you! (She scowled at him)
Veer : Sweetheart, you have become a granny already. Come on, walk fast. (He chuckled)
Bani : Stop it, idiot! I can't even feel my legs. You made love to me 9 times yesterday!
Veer : But you weren't complaining yesterday, sweetheart. (He smirked)
Bani : Did you give me a chance to complain? You were pounding on me like a caveman. (She rolled her eyes)
Veer : What to do baby, I just can't keep my hands quiet when you are with me.
Bani gave him a death glare and started walking.
Veer : Walk fast. (He teased her)
Bani : Veeranshu, I swear I will break your bones if you ask me to walk fast again. You knew very well that I can't even walk now. You didn't let me to take leave too.
Veer : Don't put the blame on me. I told you to take leave and I would also stay with you but you refused.
Bani : I know what was your plan. You wanted us to take leave so that you can continue pounding on me again!
Veer : Oops you caught me. (He giggled making her scowl at him)
Bani : Please stop irritating me, Veer. You go first I will come behind you.
Veer : Let me carry you, Bani. I can't see you struggling to walk. I'm feeling bad now.
Bani : Good if you are feeling bad. You are not going touch me for the next 1 week. Because of you I couldn't sleep on my favorite bed since 2 nights and I'm not going to leave it tonight.
Veer : Wifey, this is not fair. Show some mercy to this innocent hubby of yours. (He pouted but Bani rolled her eyes)
They entered the building and walked towards the elevator but before they could reach it, the monkey Sid jumped in front of Bani out of nowhere and she trembled in shock. Luckily Veer held her before her ass could kiss the floor.

Bani : Sid!!!! I swear I will kill you today. I warned you last week to don't do this to me.
She scolded him by faking a glare whereas Veer glared at him for real. Sid giggled at her as he knew she wasn't scolding him seriously.
Veer : Can't you behave like a grown up man? This is not a playground for you to jump around. (He scolded Sid)
Sid : Didi, he is scolding me. (He pouted)
Bani : You deserve it. (She smirked at him)
Veer : Why are you complaining to her? Wait, what did you call her? Didi?
Sid : Yes Bil, she is my didi. She adopted me last week. Haina didi? (He asked Bani and she chuckled at him)
Veer : Bil? What the hell is that?
Bani : Brother-in-law?
Sid : See my didi is so smart. You are the best, didi. (Saying this, he went and hugged her but Veer pulled him away from Bani)
Veer : Don't touch my wife! (He yelled at him and Sid made face like he's going to cry anytime)
Bani : Veer, stop it. Everyone is looking at us now. Stop creating a scene here.
Veer : I told you that day to change your PA, Bani. I don't like him at all.
Sid : What?? Didi, you are going to change your PA? You don't like me? How could you do this to me? I trusted you more than anyone else. (He complained, wiping his fake tears)
Veer's mind voice : Another drama queen here. Oh God, why am I dealing with all the drama queens in the world? (He rolled his eyes)
Bani : Arre no, Sid. I will never leave you. You will be my PA always. You are my favourite, Sid. You can trust me I will never backstab you. (She caressed his cheek and Veer glared at her hand which was on Sid's face)
Sid : Thank you, didi. You are the best again. Come, let's go to our cabin. Bil is just too free to waste our time now but we are busy.
Veer : Stop calling me that! My name is Veeranshu not that Bil!
Sid : Whatever! Come on, didi. (He grabbed her hand and pulled her to the elevator)
Bani flinched again as she couldn't walk fast. Sid noticed it and stopped dragging her.
Sid : Didi, what happened to you? Are you injured?
Before Bani could answer him, Veer came there and scooped Bani in his arms.
Veer : It's none of your business. (He glared at Sid and went inside the elevator and closed it before Sid could enter)
Bani : Veer, what are you doing? Put me down now!
Veer : Shut up, sweetheart. I have heard so much today so just keep quiet. (He warned in a calm tone)

They reached their floor and Veer directly took her to her cabin. Their staffs looked at them weirdly as he carried her in his arms whereas Bani was embarrassed so she hid her face in the crook of his neck. He entered the cabin and placed her on the couch.
Bani : Why are you behaving like this, Veer? It was so embarrassing.
Veer : What's embarrassing in this, gharwali? I carried my wife as she was not able to walk by herself. (He smirked)
Saying this, he caged her between him and the couch by placing his hands on the couch at the either side of her head. He leaned forward to kiss her but suddenly Sid barged in while calling for his didi. Veer quickly moved away and Bani got up from the couch.
Sid : Didi, what happened to you? Are you alright?
Veer : I'm telling you, Bani, this fellow has no manners at all. You will be in trouble because of him one day. (He glared at Sid and stormed out from the cabin)
Sid became sad after hearing to what Veer said. Bani noticed it as he quietly sat on his chair and opened his laptop. She patted on his shoulder but he didn't turn to look at her. She sat beside him and held his chin to turn him.
Bani : Sid?
Sid : Hmm? (He looked down)
Bani : Are you feeling bad for what Veer said?
Sid : No didi. It's okay, I can understand that he doesn't like me. Anyway I'm used to it. (He gave a sad look to her)

Bani : Why are you talking like this, Sid? Please don't take his words to your heart. He is just jealous maybe because you are spending more time with me than him. (She chuckled, trying to convince him)
Sid : I knew it. (He turned to look at his laptop screen)
Bani : Sid, look at me.
Sid : I can hear you didi.
Bani : No. Look at me now.
She cupped his face and he looked at her. She noticed he was still looking sad.
Bani : Come let's go out. I want to eat ice cream.
Sid : We got work to do, didi. You need to attend a meeting at 10am.
Bani : Just keep it aside. Let's go to McDonald's and come back by 9:45am.
Sid : Are you sure? (His face showed a glint of excitement)
Bani : Yes. Chalo. (She closed his laptop and dragged him out)
They went to McDonald's and Bani bought him his favourite chicken burger with pepsi. He got back to his old self and started enjoying the moment while teasing Bani and mimicking Veer. Bani was laughing hard when her phone started to vibrate. She looked at the caller ID and it showed 'My Hubby ❤'.
Bani : Oh shit!
Sid : What happened, didi?
Bani : Sid, it's 10:15 now! We need to attend the meeting. Veer is already calling me.
Sid : Answer the call and let him know we will be there in 5 minutes, didi.
Bani : No, I will talk to him directly. Come let's go. (They rushed to her car and quickly drove off to their office)

It was 10:25am when they reached the conference room. Everyone were waiting for Bani including her family members and Veer. She entered in first and Sid followed her.
Aayush : Where were you, Bani? You know the meeting is at 10am right? Look at the time now. (He frowned at her disappointedly)
Bani : I'm sorry, papa. I apologize to everyone here for wasting your time today. I will make sure it won't happen again. I just got caught up with an emergency so please accept my apology and let's start the meeting now. (She apologized and went near the projector screen to start with her presentation)
Once she was done, she went and took her seat beside Veer to let Tapish to continue with the presentation.
Veer : Where were you just now? (He whispered to her)
Bani's mind voice : Oh my God! Bani, you are so dumb. Why did you sit beside him? There's an empty seat beside papa but you came and sat beside your dearest hubby. Now he won't leave me until I tell him the truth and also he won't leave me after learning the truth that I went out with Sid. I successfully dug my own grave. (She ignored Veer's question and started cursing herself while Veer was waiting for her answer)
Veer : Bani? (He nudged her)
Bani : Huh?
Veer : I asked you something.
Bani : Hmm Veeru, please don't get angry now. You scolded Sid just now and he was feeling low so I took him to the nearby McDonald's to cheer him up. (She explained him fearfully)
Veer : Wow!!! That's great. Well done, Bani. This shows how much professional you are. (He said, gritting his teeth)
Bani : Baby, please don't get angry. Please try to understand me. I didn't mean.... (She was cut by Balwant's voice)
Balwant : Thank you, everyone. The meeting is over now. We have discussed about our company's profit-sharing plan. We want our finance department to work on it and get Bani's approval before finalising it. You all may leave now.

Everyone left the conference room except Aayush, Ballu, Tapish, Veer, Bani and their PAs.
Aayush : Bani, try to be punctual next time. I don't encourage this kind of irresponsible behaviour at all. (He said in a stern tone)
Bani : I'm sorry, papa. I won't repeat this again.
Aayush nodded and left the room with Balwant. Bani and Sid were discussing something with their eyes and Veer was shooting daggers at them which was noticed by Tapish. He signalled his PA Miya and Veer's PA to leave the room and went near Veer after they left.
Tapish : Veer, any problem? Did my sister do any mistake?
Bani's mind voice : My good for nothing bhai, no one is asking you now. Please don't add extra masala to his anger!!
Bani : Bhai, can you leave now? I know how to deal with my husband.
Tapish : Cannot. (He smirked and Bani rolled her eyes)
She turned and held Veer's hands but he pulled away his hands angrily. Sid was glaring at Veer for being rude to Bani.
Sid : Didi, come let's go.
Bani : No, Sid. You go first I will come in a while.
Sid : No, didi. I won't leave without you.
Veer : Why? Are you a baby? Can't you walk without your didi's support? (He asked, gritting his teeth)
Sid : I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to my Bani didi. (He snapped back and Veer got up from his seat angrily)
Bani : Veer please. And Sid, you go to my cabin now. (She held Veer's hand)
Sid : Cannot didi. I won't leave you alone here. I can see people shooting daggers at you. (He said, glaring at Veer)
Tapish's mind voice : Uh-huh, I guess I will be having some entertainment now. I must record this show and send it to the ladies at home. I'm sure they will enjoy it. (He took out his phone and started shooting the video secretly)
Veer : Bani, ask him to don't come between you and me.
Sid : Didi, first ask him to don't come between us. What's his problem now?
Veer : I warned you to don't come between me and my wife.
Sid : I warned you to don't come between me and my didi. (He pulled Bani to his side)
Veer : She is my wife itself before you came into her life. (He pulled her to his side)
Bani : Guys, please stop fighting yaar!!! (She yelled exasperatedly)
Sid : Didi, ask your husband to stop it first. He is the one who started it.
Veer : Bani, ask this idiot to go away from here. How can he hug my wife in front of my eyes?
Sid : Okay fine, I will hug her when you are not around. (He snapped back)
Bani : Oh God!!! Stop it guys!
Sid/Veer : Shut up, didi/Bani!
Bani : Arghhh!!!! (She sat there holding her head in her hands)

Tapish was trying hard to suppress his laughter.
Veer : Bani, I'm going to fire him now. I can't tolerate him anymore.
Sid : Bil, you don't have any rights to fire me. I'm didi's PA, not yours. (He snapped back)
Tapish : What? Bil? What is that?
Sid : It's short form of brother-in-law. He is my didi's husband so I'm giving him the respect. Unlike someone here who has no manners at all. (He muttered the last sentence under his breath)
Veer : It's very important now to explain him the abbreviations. (He rolled his eyes)
Bani : Guys, please stop it. Okay it's my fault. Veer, let's go to your cabin and talk there. And Sid, you go to my cabin and wait for me there.
Sid : But didi, I'm afraid to leave you alone with him.
Veer : Stop your drama. You don't need to act as her bodyguard. She knows how to look after herself.
Bani : Sid, he is my husband and I know how to handle him. Just leave now, please.
Sid : Okay, fine. (He left the room)
Bani : Veer?
Veer : What now? (He yelled in a low tone)
Bani : Come with me and you Tapish bhai, please at least go and do your own work now. (She held Veer's hand and dragged him outside after glaring at Tapish)
Tapish : Ufff, I guess I'm going to have free entertainment here everyday. I can't wait to send this to the ladies at home. (He chuckled and sent the video he recorded in the WhatsApp family group)

At Veer's cabin :
They both entered in and Bani locked the door. Veer loosened his tie and leaned on the table with his hands inside his pant pocket. She pulled his hands out of his pocket and wrapped them around her waist.
Bani : What happened to you, Veer? You are not you. This is totally out of your character. You always taught me to act mature but now why are you being so immature? (She cupped his face)
Veer : I just don't like that guy, Bani. He is sticking to you always. You are not spending time with me in the office because of him. Last time you used to stay in my cabin when you don't have any work to do but now... (He stopped and pouted)
Bani : Ufff Veeru, please stop hating him for no reason. Can't you see that he is such a baby? He is just 23 yaar. You don't have to be jealous of him. I'm only yours. (She tried to peck on his lips but he turned away making her peck on his cheek)
Veer : Just go away, Bani. For God's sake he is not a baby. Look how he treats me. He don't even know the definition of manners at all.
Bani : Then what about you? How are you treating him, Veer? He felt so bad just now because of your harsh words. I have never seen you hurting anyone like you did to him. I understand your insecurities but what I'm saying is you don't have to be afraid of him. He treats me like an elder sister to him so there's no harm from him. Please don't do this again, baby. I love you so much and I'm completely yours. Keep this in your mind always. (She hugged him tightly and Veer thought for few seconds before reciprocating the hug)
Veer : Sweetheart, I'm sorry. I won't repeat that behaviour again. But that doesn't mean I will tolerate him. Ask him to be in his limits. I don't like him touching you at all.
Bani : Idiot, you are damn possessive. (She hit on his arm)
Veer : You are mine, sweetheart. I don't like to see someone else spending more time with you than I do. You are all for me ONLY. (He tightened the hug possessively)
Bani : Same goes to you. You are all for me ONLY. Don't go near that Miya again. I don't like the way she's looking at you all the time. Even just now in the conference room also I noticed how she was staring at you.
Veer : Don't worry, wife. I will handle it.

He nuzzled into her neck, inhaling her fragrance while dropping wet kisses there. Bani understood where it will lead to so she broke the hug and moved 2 steps away from him. He raised his eyebrow at her.
Bani : I... I think I need to go back to my cabin. I will see you later during lunch break. (She walked to the door but Veer grabbed her by her waist in swift motion)
Veer : Baby, I need you now. (He smiled mischievously)
Bani : Idiot! It's office.
Veer : So what? Just a quickie please.
Bani : Shut up, Veer! Last night your so called quickie took 3 hours. I have lot of work to do now and I'm still sore. Don't touch me for at least a week.
Veer : What? A week? Sweetheart, please... (He was cut by her)
Bani : Enough. I will see you later. Bye.
Saying this, she quickly unlocked the door and ran out from his cabin. Veer chuckled at her behaviour and got back to his work.
