Next morning at 9, the peaceful sleep of two not so innocent souls who just lost their virginity the previous night was disturbed by a caller ringtone. Veer groaned in annoyance and got up to check his phone. He then realised that the ringtone was coming from Bani's phone.
Veer : Bani, wake up and answer your phone call.
Bani : Let me sleep, Veer!! (She growled and turned the other side)
Veer : Arghhh!!! (He groaned again and took her phone from the side table to check the caller ID) Sweetheart, it's from your mom.
And that was enough for Bani to get up with a jerk and looked at the phone in horror. Her mom's words rang in her ears which she told a day before their wedding.
Tanvi : Bani, stop sleeping like a log after your marriage. Remember to wake up early and serve your husband like I do for your papa. If I hear any complaints from your husband or in-laws then you will have to face my wrath!
She quickly snatched the phone from Veer and answered the call.
Bani : Hello, mumma.
Tanvi : Hi beta. Happy Birthday to you. (She wished cheerfully)
Bani : Thank you, mumma. I love you.
Tanvi : I love you too. Accha, tell me why you didn't answer the call earlier? What are you doing there? Don't tell me you are still sleeping until now!
Bani : Ufffoo mumma, it's my birthday today stop scolding me like you do always. And for your kind information, I woke up at 7 in the morning and prepared breakfast for my husband. (She lied like an expert and Veer gaped at her)
Bani winked at him and closed his mouth. She spoke to all of her family members who wished her through the call and cut it after half an hour. She breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Veer who was smirking at her.

Bani : What??
Veer : Thank you for the breakfast you prepared after waking up at 7am. (He mocked)
Bani smiled sheepishly and snuggled into his arms.
Bani : I'm sorry, baby. But you know na mom will start with her lecture if she knows I'm still sleeping until now that's why I had to lie to her. I can't tell her that you didn't let me to sleep until 3am, right? (She smirked at him)
Veer flipped their position swiftly and pinned her to the bed with a glint of mischievous look on his face. Bani instantly regretted for smirking at him.
Bani : Veer, don't start again. I'm already sore for the deeds we did last night.
Veer : What deeds we did, baby? I don't remember anything. (He asked with an innocent face)
Bani : Look at yourself and you will automatically remember everything. (Saying this, she pushed him away and tried to get up but winced and sat back on the bed)
Veer : Sweetheart, are you okay? (He asked worriedly)
Bani : I'm fine, Veer. It's just my lower abdomen hurts.
Veer : I can understand, sweetheart. Your hymen broke last night so you will feel pain there. I'm sorry for causing you pain, baby. (He lowered his head guiltily)
Bani cupped his face and kissed on his forehead.
Bani : Stop it, Veeru. You don't have to be sorry. I'm happy for losing my virginity to you. I'm yours now completely in all senses.
Veer smiled a little but he was still worried about her.
Bani : Veer, did you forget it's my birthday today? (She pouted)
Veer : How can I forget it, sweetheart? (He pecked on her lips)
Bani : Then I need a favour from you.
Veer : Your wish is my command, madam. (He chuckled)
Bani : I have few wishes that you will have to fulfil today. You need to do whatever I ask for. You cannot refuse me for anything that I ask for. It's my day today so you must do everything as per my wish.
Veer : Did you get that you are repeating the same matter in different sentences? All you want me to do is to obey whatever you ask me today. Am I right?
Bani : Yes.
Veer : Hmm it's quite risky, sweetheart. But okay I concur. Only for today.
Bani : Yayyy!!! Thank you so much, hubby. I love you a lot. Ouch!! (She got up to hug him excitedly but winced in pain again)
Veer : Don't strain yourself, wifey. (He carried her in his arms and took her to the bathroom)
She took her bath and got ready while Veer went to prepare Bani's favourite dish for her breakfast.

In the kitchen :
Veer was cooking busily when Bani entered while talking on the phone.
Bani : Haan, mom. Your son here. Do you want to talk to him?
Veer turned around and signalled her asking whether it's his mom or not. Bani nodded in yes. He gestured her to give him the phone.
Bani : Mom, he wants to talk to you. (She put it on speaker)
Chandrakala : No darling, I will talk to him later. I'm busy right now.
Veer : Yeah, you were not busy to talk to your daughter-in-law but now you are too busy to talk to your own son. (He sulked)
Chandrakala : Veer, I just spoke to you yesterday. Don't behave like a homesick child. And Bani, happy birthday again. I will come to see you later. Take care darling. Bubye.
Bani : Okay bye, mom. (She cut the call and stared at Veer)
Veer : What now?
Bani : I'm going to ask my first wish today.
Veer's mind voice : Danger number 1.
Veer : Go ahead.
Bani : You will drink the coffee I make for you today. (Veer gulped hard listening to her)
Veer : But swee.... (Bani placed her finger on his lips to shut him)
Bani : It's a birthday girl's wish.
Veer nodded in agreement with no choice left. Bani deliberately added more coffee powder to make it bitter.
Veer : Sweetheart, you are adding extra spoon of coffee powder.
Bani : I know what I'm doing. (She said in a stern tone and gave him the coffee cup)
Veer : Hmm is there any other option?
Bani : What if I say no?
Veer : Fine.
He took the cup and hesitantly brought it near his lips.
Bani : Come on, drink it now.
Bani's mind voice : My dear hubby, today is my day. I will punish you as much as I want for lying to me from the past 5 days. (She smirked evilly)
Veer : Wait, it's hot. (He was blowing the coffee slowly)
Bani groaned and pressed the cup to his lips and made him drink it at one go.
Veer : Ewww buekk. (He made face and quickly grabbed the bottle to drink water but Bani snatched it away from him)
Veer : Bani, please give me the water. It's too bitter.
Bani : If you want water then do push ups for 20 times.
Veer : What the hell?
Bani : Birthday girl's wish. (She reminded him)
Veer : Fine. (He did as she said)
After 20 push ups, Bani passed him a glass of water and he quickly gulped it all. She smirked in victory.

After their breakfast, Bani asked him to get ready as she wanted to take him somewhere.
Veer : Where are we going, sweetheart?
Bani : Just keep quiet and get ready. I have bought a shirt for you and you are wearing it today. I don't want to hear any excuses. Go go go!!! (She pushed him inside the room and locked the door from outside)
Veer : Bani!!!!! (He yelled from inside)
Bani : What happened, patidev? (She expected him to yell but acted innocently)
Veer : Are you serious? You want me to wear this pink shirt?
Bani : I'm damn serious. Just go and wear it, hubby!
Veer : Sweetheart, among all the colours you just found this pink colour?
Bani : Yes.
Veer : Fuck you!
Bani : Fuck you harder! (She snapped back)
Veer : Come inside and let's decide who will fuck who. (He chuckled)
Bani : Veer!!!! Just shut up and get ready. It's getting late.
After 5 minutes Veer knocked the door and Bani opened it. He came out with a grumpy face but Bani gazed at him from top to bottom admiringly.
Bani : Wow you are looking so sexy, hubby. (She pecked on his lips)
Veer : Shut up! It's so ugly. I can never imagine myself in a pink shirt. Yuckk! (He said, making a face)

Bani : Awww baby just for today. It's my birthday so please don't make these kind of faces. Smile and say cheese! (She said, grinning widely which made Veer to smile)
Veer : Only for today.
Bani : Yes yes. Okay move. I will go and get ready first.
Veer : But where are we going?
Bani : You will know it later.
Saying this, she walked past him but he grabbed her arm and pulled her to which she landed on his chest. She placed her palms on his shoulders to balance herself.
Veer : Let's postpone the plan and stay at home. I just wanna fuck you harder now. (He said while nuzzling her neck)
Bani : Chii idiot! Stop being shameless. Last time you used to scold me if I use the word fuck but now you can use it, huh? (She pushed him away only to get pulled by him more)
Veer : That's last time, baby. I'm talking after what happened last night. (He winked at her and Bani's cheeks turned crimson red)
Bani : Stop it, Veer. Let me get ready first. We need to go now.
Veer : How about a quickie?
Bani's mouth opened and closed like a fish.
Bani : Veeranshu!!! Just move! (She pushed him harder and went inside the room)
Veer : Hey wife, this is not fair. Open the door. (He banged the door down)
Bani : I will break your hand if I come out now. Stop banging on it and go sit there quietly! (She yelled from inside)
Veer : Ouch don't do anything to my hand, gharwali. I need it to touch you.
Bani : Shut up!
She got ready and came out after 15 minutes wearing a dress that matched with his shirt colour.

Veer : Wow you are looking so beautiful, wife.
Bani : Same pinch, hubby. See we both are in pink. (She pinched his hand)
Veer : Ouch! (He swatted away her hand)
Bani : Okay come let's go. It's getting late.
Veer : But where?
Bani : Just come with me. (She pulled him out with her)

Bani drove the car towards their destination. Fifteen minutes later, she stopped the car in front of an orphanage.
Veer : Sweetheart?
Bani : Come, let's go in.
They both got down and went inside. All the kids ran towards Vani when they entered in. Soon they were surrounded by approximately 25 kids and 2 caretakers.
The kids : Happy Birthday, didi!!!! (They wished her chorally)
Bani kneeled down to their level and took them into a group hug. Veer was looking at them in amazement.
Bani : Thank you, darlings. Did you receive the gifts that I sent yesterday?
They all said yes cheerfully.
Caretaker 1: Happy Birthday, ma'am.
Caretaker 2 : Many more happy returns of the day, ma'am.
Bani : Thank you so much. But please call me Bani. Ma'am sounds too formal. Am I right, guys?
The kids : Yes!!!! (They screamed chorally)
Bani : Hehe alright. Guys, this is my husband. Say Hi to him. (She pulled Veer to kneel down in front of them and he did it gladly)
The kids : Hi uncle!!!!
Veer : Uncle? You guys called her didi and me as uncle? (He pouted)
They all looked at Bani and she was trying to suppress a laugh.
Veer : Bani, tell them to don't call me uncle. (He whispered to her)
Bani : Guys, you all can call him uncle. He is looking old na? (She asked them and they giggled)
Veer : Bani!! (He narrowed his eyes at her)
Bani : What? It's not my fault. They are seeing us for the first time and they called me didi but you as uncle. So it means you are looking old to them.
Veer : Shut up.
One of the elder girl among them came in front of Veer and patted on his shoulder.
Veer : Hi dear. What's your name?
The girl : Hi bhaiya. My name is Neeta.
Veer : Wow Neeta is a nice name. How old are you?
Neeta : I'm 13 years old, bhaiya. (Then she turned to Bani) Didi, don't tease him. We will call him bhaiya if he doesn't prefer us to call him uncle. He is not looking old at all.
Veer : Aww Neeta, you are so sweet. Thank you so much for helping me out.
Bani : Okay fine. Neeta already joined in Veer's gang. I'm alone here. (She pouted and the other kids ran to her and hugged her)
Veer : Don't bother her. She is a drama queen. (He whispered to Neeta who looked at Bani worriedly)
Bani : Mr Veeranshu, I heard you!
Veer closed his mouth with his palm while the kids laughed at them. After that cute introduction, they all went inside and celebrated Bani's birthday. They cut the cake together and she fed to all the kids. She also took her revenge by applying cream on Veer's face and all the children followed her to paint Veer's face with the cream. He acted like he sulked and took all the kids to his side. Then they all started chasing Bani to paint her face this time.

They all had their lunch and Bani started playing again with the kids. Most of the time, she was surrounded by the kids as she started behaving childishly with them while Veer was talking with the caretakers, asking them about the kids.

Kid 1: Didi, thank you for the gift yesterday. I always wanted to have a teddy bear but no one bought for me before this. (She said sadly and Bani took her on her lap)
Bani : Aww that's alright sweetheart. After this, I will come and visit you all frequently. I will bring a lot of toys and teddy bears for all of you.
Kid 2 : Didi, we don't want any toys. You come and play with us everyday and it's enough for us.
Bani : Okay baby but I can't come everyday. I promise I will come and visit you all every Sunday.
Kid 3 : Why didi? Come everyday na. (He asked with puppy face)
Bani : Hmm it's very difficult baby. I'm working during weekdays so I can't come here. (She said with a pout)
Neeta : It's okay, didi. We will wait for you every Sunday. You have to come and play with us, okay?
Bani : Sure sweetheart. (She kissed on her forehead)
Kid 3 : Didi, come let's play hide and seek now.
Bani : Hide and seek? But I don't know any place here to hide. I'm new to this place na.
Kid 1 : We all will hide and you will catch us. Is it okay, didi?
Bani : Okay then. I will close my eyes and count until 10. You all faster go and hide.
The kids giggled and quickly hid at their secret places. Bani counted until 10 and then she opened her eyes. She caught one by one and finally all of them appeared in front of her. They kids enjoyed a lot playing with her and Veer also joined them after his conversation with the caretakers.

Veer sat beside Bani when she was watching the kids playing in front of her. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to him.
Veer : Happy Birthday, sweetheart.
Bani : Veer, you already wished me 67 times before. (She giggled)
Veer : I will keep wishing you until 11:59pm.
Bani : You are crazy. (She hit him on his chest and shifted her attention on the kids)
Veer was admiring his wife who showed him a new side of her today. This was the first time she celebrated her birthday at an orphanage. He didn't know that she would do something like this.
Veer : Bani?
Bani : Hmm? (She asked while looking at the kids)
Veer : When did you plan for this? The caretakers told me that you donated 2 lakh rupees to this orphanage and also sent them a lot of gifts yesterday. (He asked in amusement)
Bani : I just got the idea a week ago, Veer. I realised that I have wasted all these years celebrating my birthday by throwing parties and doing grand celebrations unnecessarily so this year I planned to do something which will benefit the people who needed it. Look at the kids, Veer. They are so happy to see us here. I'm seeing them for the first time today but did you see how they ran to me when we entered in and wished my birthday? I guess this is what called as unconditional love, Veer. They will shower their unconditional love on us without any expectations. You know what, just now that girl said she doesn't want any toys from us but she just wants us to come and play with them everyday. And that girl Neeta, she is the matured one among them. She is just 13 but she is taking care of the other kids like an elder sister to them. She is such a responsible girl, Veer. (She explained him everything while pointing at the kids whereas Veer was gazing at her lovingly)

Bani waited for him to talk but she got no response from him which made her to turn and look at him. She looked at him to see he was already gazing at her. They shared an intense eye lock there. Veer gently took her hand in his and kissed on her palm. Bani broke the eye lock and pulled back her hand.
Bani : Stop it, Veer. The kids might see us.
Veer : I love you.
Bani : I love you too.
Veer : Where were you all these years? (Bani turned and raised her eyebrow at him)
Bani : Huh?
Veer : I'm not seeing my old sweetheart now. This is someone else. Someone who just showed me the other side of her. Where were you all these years, gharwali?
Bani : Ufff, at different planet. (She chuckled and elbowed him)
Veer : I like this new side of you too. (He whispered while kissing her cheek)
Bani : Veer!!! (She gave him a fake glare but he winked at her)
Bani was about to scold him but the kids went to her and pulled her from there to play with them. They spent their afternoon there by playing with the kids and finally went back home around 5pm. They promised the kids that they will visit them every Sunday when the kids refused to let them leave from there.
