Bani's POV:
I came back home around 8pm. I was extremely exhausted as the stupid Sid made a huge mistake in a presentation file regarding our company's market share so I had to stay back and revise it until 7:30pm. Moreover, my idiotic husband made me more angry by informing me about his flight delay.

I quickly took my shower and made instant noodles for myself. The outcome was not as how I expected but I finished eating it as I was too hungry to think anything else. I was determined that I will stay awake until Veer arrives home because I need to fry him tonight for lying to me along with my stupid bhai.

Usually we used to sleep around 12am but I don't know why I had started feeling sleepy at 10pm itself. "No Bani, don't sleep! Stay awake until Veer comes back home", this is how I encouraged myself to stay awake and I started watching Frozen to keep me awake.

Veer's POV:
I was supposed to reach Mumbai by 7pm but because my flight got delayed, I reached at 1:45am. I was extremely tired and I couldn't wait to go back home and take my sweetheart into a tight hug. I reached home at 2:15am. I was sure that she would be sleeping at that time.

I opened the main door and entered in silently as a thief. My intention was not to scare my innocent wife in the middle of the night. I locked the door and walked towards the living room only to see my sweetheart was sleeping on the sofa. Poor baby I guessed she would have slept here while waiting for me.

I went near her and kneeled down on the floor in front of my sleeping beauty. I caressed her hair and a small smile played on her lips. She looked so cute while sleeping. I kissed on her forehead and picked her up in my arms but she immediately started protesting.

"Hey, don't disturb me. I'm waiting for my idiotic husband to come back home", she mumbled in her sleep and tried to push me away. I couldn't help but smiled at the way she described me.

"Sweetheart, this is your idiotic husband here. I'm taking you to our room", I explained her and she opened her eyes lazily.

"Veer", she uttered my name with a smile and closed back her eyes. I chuckled at her cuteness and slowly picked her up in my arms and headed towards our bedroom.

I gently placed her on the bed and went to freshen up myself. After I was done with my business, I came and laid down beside her. I wrapped my arm around her and she immediately snuggled into my embrace and held me tightly. I started caressing her hair and drifted off soon.

Bani's POV:
I woke up due to the alarm sound and opened my eyes lazily. I was surprised to be in my Veeru's embrace as I remembered sleeping on the sofa last night. I knew how did I end up here. Veer stirred a little due to the noise and I quickly turned off the alarm.

I traced my fingers on his face but he didn't budge a little. I confirmed that he was hell tired because he is a light sleeper and he would wake up immediately when someone touch him. I placed a soft kiss on his cheek and went to do my morning routine. I got ready and tried to wake him up but his tired face stopped me from doing so. I wrote a letter as he did yesterday and left to the office.

I was in a meeting when my phone vibrated showing the caller ID. I quickly sent a short message to my hubby who called me and continued with the meeting. It was 11am when I came out from the conference room. I asked Sid who was following me to go to my cabin first as I wanted to call Veer. He gave me a teasing smile and left from there.

I called my hubby and he answered within the 3rd ring. "Hey sweetheart, are you busy?", he asked hurriedly.

"Hi Veer, yeah actually I was in a meeting when you called me. I'm free now. What time did you wake up? Had a good sleepy?", I asked.

"I miss you, sweetheart. Why you did not wake me up before leaving to the office? I just read your letter. You should have woken me up", he said and I could imagine him pouting there. I immediately chuckled listening to him.

I replied, "Baby, I tried to wake you up but you looked really tired and you were in deep slumber so I did the opposite. Don't worry, I will be back home around 6pm".

"Okay. Make sure have your lunch on time. I just woke up and I'm going to order my lunch today. I'm feeling lazy to cook without you", he sounded sadly.

We talked for almost 30 minutes and then I got back to my work. I was missing Veer today more than I did yesterday. I felt lonely without him in the office even though I was always accompanied by Sid and my family members.

The clock struck 5:30pm and I instantly started packing my things to go back home to my love but I guess God decided something else for me as my good-for-nothing brother came to my cabin and gave me extra work to do and he demanded me to complete it by today. I got extremely frustrated and was about to burst out at him but that idiot quickly escaped from there. I called Veer to inform him and he got sad when I told him that I will be late.

Veer's POV:
I was on the call with Tapish bhai, thanking him for giving extra work to Bani as I told him to do so. I planned a surprise date for my wife tonight so I asked Tapish bhai to make her stay at the office at least until 8pm. I calculated the timing and expected her to be back home around 8:30pm but to my bad luck, she arrived at 8pm sharp. I heard the main doorknob twisting sound and I immediately rushed towards the door and stopped her from entering in.

She looked at me puzzled and asked, "Veer? What's wrong with you? Why did you shut the door behind you?".

"Sweetheart, I need a favour from you", I said hesitantly, trying to read her facial expression.

"Let's go in first, hubby. I'm tired", she tried to enter in but I stopped her by taking her into a bear hug. I guess she was shocked at first because I felt her reciprocating my hug after few seconds.

"Baby, I missed you so much", I mumbled, placing a kiss on her forehead.

"I missed you more, Veeru", she pecked on my lips making me smile.

"Listen to me, sweetheart. I have planned something for you so I'm going to blindfold you now. Please cooperate with me, baby", I begged, showing my puppy eyes to her. She stared at me for few seconds and nodded in agreement.

"Okay, but what's that something?", she asked.

"You will know it soon. Now I will tie this on your eyes and make sure don't open it until you're told to do so", I demanded.

"Veer, why did you push me into this room? I want to go to our bedroom", she banged the door but I locked it from outside.

"Sweetheart, you told me that you will cooperate with me so please do it now. I have placed a gift for you on the bed. Freshen up first and wear it for me", I told her.

She didn't reply me anything after that. I was worried if she got angry on me for doing this to her.

Bani's POV:
I opened the gift and there was a beautiful dress in it. I took out the dress excitedly and placed it on me while looking at my reflection through the mirror. It was indeed a beautiful and elegant red off-shoulder dress.

I was admiring the dress when Veer knocked the door. "Baby, are you there? Say something", he asked.

"Veer, this dress is so beautiful but why this now? What are you planning to do?", I asked him as I was totally surprised with his weird behaviour today.

"Sweetheart, please get ready and let me know then I will open the door. Please make it quick as I'm feeling hungry already", he replied back, ignoring my question.

"Okay, but I need my undergarments too. Let me come out for a while. I need to go to our room", I demanded.

"I placed your belongings in the bathroom already, baby. Please go and take your shower first. I will be waiting for you". He told me and I rolled my eyes before saying okay.

I quickly took my shower and got ready in the dress he gifted me. By then I was 90% sure that my husband had planned a date for us but I decided to play along to satisfy him. I knocked the door and he opened it. I gaped looking at the Greek God aka my husband in front of me. He was looking so hot and stylish in his black armani suit.

He took a few steps forward, pulled me closer by wrapping his right arm around my waist and gazed into my eyes intensely. "You are looking drop dead gorgeous, gharwali", he complimented before pecking on my lips.

"You are looking handsome too, my husband", I winked at him and kissed on his nose lightly without spoiling my lip gloss.

He stepped back and gently forwarded his hand to me. I placed my hand on his and followed him. I was taken aback with the view in front of my eyes. My romantic husband planned a dinner date for us inside the house as I guessed but the arrangement was beyond my expectation. Veer chuckled, looking at my wide opened eyes. He kissed on my forehead and pulled the chair for me to sit. I was impressed with his chivalry and took my seat while he sat in front of me.

His intense gaze was not sitting well with me as suddenly I was feeling too fluttered as if I came for a dinner date with a stranger. Veer understood my nervousness and held me hand by rubbing his thumb on my knuckles. "Don't feel nervous, sweetheart. I'm your husband, not a stranger", he winked, making me blush more.

He opened the wine bottle and poured it into two glasses. He passed one to me and I hesitantly took it. He clinked his glass with mine and asked me to drink it. I took a sip nervously. "Veer, why this sudden plan? Anything special today?", I asked him.

"I just wanted to make my wife feel special tonight, sweetheart. I love you", he replied, gazing into my eyes lovingly. I don't know why but I was blushing way too much than I ever did under his intense gaze and the seductive glow from the candlelights weren't helping me much. I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"I love you more, Veer. Hmm...Shall we eat? I'm hungry", I said as food is the only thing that can distract me from those weird feelings for some time.

He nodded and started serving us. We had our dinner while exchanging our little talks about how I spent my day at office without him and how he arranged the date at home without giving me a hint about it. I must say that he really took so much efforts to impress me today. I felt lucky and proud to have a best friend, lover, husband and soulmate like him.

Veer's POV:
Once we were done with our dinner, I went near Bani and forwarded my hand, asking for a dance. I could feel her getting nervous and shy with my intense gaze and I assured her many times but I wonder why she was still behaving like a timid girl suddenly. She placed her hand on mine and I instantly grabbed her waist to pull her closer to me. She refused to meet my eyes so I held her chin and made her look at me.

"Sweetheart, you are not feeling comfortable with me, are you?"

"No, Veer. It's not like that. I...I mean..I'm just feeling a little shy today", she replied without making the eye contact. I understood her nervousness and kissed on her forehead assuringly. She slowly raised her eyes to let them meet mine. We shared an intense eye lock while taking small steps along with the soft music I played in my phone. She just followed my steps while her gaze shifted from my eyes to my lips repeatedly.  

"Veer, I'm falling in love with you again and again", she confessed making me blush. Damn this girl will be the death of me. She expected me to say something but I just cupped her face and attached our lips. She closed her eyes and started sucking my upper lip while I sucked her lower lip. She teased me by grazing her teeth against my lips and I parted them to let her in. She rolled her tongue into my mouth while clutching my hair in her little fists.

Suddenly I felt the urge to taste her so I rolled my tongue into her mouth and she started fighting for the dominance. I was in no mood to let her win this time so I kissed her more passionately until she started feeling short of breath. She tried to let me know it by shaking my arms so I immediately broke the kiss and pulled away from her to let her breath properly.

"I'm sorry, gharwali", I whispered, joining our foreheads when she was panting heavily. She pecked on my lips and said, "It... It's alright, Veer... I'm...fine" in between her breaths. I waited for her to calm down and quickly took a glance at my watch. I was shocked when it showed the time as 11:15pm. I didn't realise how much time we took in our dinner, dance and the passionate kiss but anyway it's Saturday tomorrow so we don't have to wake up early.

"Sweetheart?"

"Hmm, Veer?"

"Shall we go to our room?", I asked with a smirk to give her a hint of my plans tonight and she noticed it. She nodded shyly and I picked her up in bridal style.

"Veer, what are you doing? I can walk to our room. It's just few steps away from here", she wiggled in my arms but I held her tightly and started walking.

"Shhhh, open the door, baby", I whispered huskily and she twisted the doorknob of our bedroom. I heard her gasp when she looked at the decor of our bedroom.

Bani's POV:
I was surprised looking at our bedroom and I didn't even realised that Veer started walking towards the bed. I looked at him to see him already staring at me. My cheeks turned into crimson red and I instantly hid my face at the crook of his neck. He chuckled at my action and slowly placed on the bed. He was doing it too slowly which was enough to send shivers down my spine.

He sat beside me and held my hands in his. I felt shy to look at him so I turned away and started scanning around the room. He had decorated the room with scented candles which gave the room a seductive glow and fragrance. It did not take much time for me to realise that the scented candles were made by my favourite lavender scent. There were rose petals on the bed which was covered with white sheets and balloons on the floor all around the room which covered the tiles.

I was enjoying the view when suddenly I felt his fingers on my chin. He made me look at him and said, "Baby, enough of scanning the room. Give some attention to your poor patidev here". I couldn't help myself but chuckled at his cute pout. I pecked on his pout and wrapped my arms around his neck. He pulled me closer and made me sit on his lap.

"Thank you so much for your lovely and romantic surprise, patidev. I'm overwhelmed with your unconditional love on me and the efforts you take to make me feel special. I'm so lucky to be called as your wife. I love you, sweetheart", my eyes watered when I ended my sentence. He wiped off my tears and hugged me tightly by hiding his face in the crook of my neck.

"I love you more, sweetheart. No more tears, okay. I didn't do it to make you emotional. I just wanted to treat you special tonight, baby", he mumbled near my neck, making my breath get hitched.

I cupped his face to pull him away from my neck and gazed into his eyes. For the first time in my 22 years of experience with him, his eyes displayed a glint of lust which made me get flushed. I bit my lower lip nervously and he pulled out my lip and pecked on it.

"Sweetheart, you have become my possession and I have never felt this way with anyone else before. You are the first woman in my life who gave me this type of feelings which I have never felt for anyone else and you will be the last woman too. I just want to become yours and make you mine in every senses, gharwali.", by the time he completed his sentence, I became speechless. This is the first time he confessed something like this to me.

"Take me, Veer. I'm all yours", this was the only thing came out from my mouth without my permission and I immediately buried my face on his chest as I was flushed with cherry red colour.

"Don't hide that blush from me, sweetheart. I love it when you blush and I feel special when I'm the reason for your blush", he said, lifting my face to meet his eyes. He kissed on my nose and laid me on the bed while not breaking our eye lock.

I laid her on the bed and hovered over her by balancing my weight on my elbows. I couldn't express my happiness when she said she's all mine. I felt the urge to make her mine right there but I decided to drag it until 12am. I checked the time and it showed 11:50pm. Arghh I have to wait for 10 more minutes. My sweetheart started getting suspicious and she was about to ask me something but I immediately smashed my lips with hers to stop her. We poured all our emotions into our passionate kiss and I felt like our souls were getting together second by second. By the time I broke the kiss, she was in daze and her eyes were still closed. I glanced at the time and it showed one more minute to twelve.

Bani slowly opened her eyes and looked at me questioningly. "What are you waiting for, Veeru?", she asked me with her eyebrow raised. I chuckled inwardly when I felt her getting impatient to become mine. The clock struck 12 and I leaned towards her ear.

"Happy Birthday, gharwali", I whispered, kissing her earlobe.

Bani was silent after that and I pulled away to look at her. A lone tear escaped from her eye and before I could wipe it away, she threw her arms around me and pulled me into a tight hug. "Thank you so much, Veer. Thanks for remembering my birthday. I totally forgot about it. I can't express my feelings into words right now. All I can say is I'm the most happiest person in the entire universe tonight", she expressed while kissing my neck.

"I wanted to make your 25th birthday a special one, sweetheart, that's why I was taking it slowly. I hope you got me now", I winked at her and she showed me my favourite blush of hers.

"Don't take it slow anymore, Veer. I...I really can't wait anymore...hmm you know", she hesitantly tried to explain me and I chuckled making her frown. I buried my face into her neck and started pepper her with my wet kisses. Bani swapped our positions by coming on top of me and took away my coat. She started undoing my shirt buttons impatiently and threw it away carelessly.

"Patience, sweetheart. The night is still young", I whispered and switched our positions swiftly. I was on top of her and I pulled her by her arms to make her sit and unzipped her dress. I took away her dress and she immediately covered her body with the blanket as she was a little conscious. I pulled away the blanket from her and threw it beside me to tease her more. I stopped moving and kept whispering sweet nothings in her ear. She took her time to adjust herself and I let her do it.

"Move slowly, Veer", she said, tracing her lips on my stubbled cheek. I obeyed and started moving slowly. Soon she got adjusted with my length and released her grip on me shoulders. I started moving slowly at first as I kept looking into her eyes for any sign of pain but I guess her pain got replaced with pleasure as she was moaning my name continuously.

"Are you okay now, baby?", I asked and she nodded, pulling me closer to her.
