Continuation from previous part :
Post breakfast Veer and Ballu tried to escape from the Hitler by saying they had to attend an urgent meeting at office but Bani and Chandu who understood their plan stopped them by saying they need to stay at home as they had to prepare for Vani's reception that evening. The grandma wanted to take some rest so Chandrakala took her to the guest room while Bani dragged Veer to their room.

At Vani's room :
Bani pushed Veer inside the room and locked the door which a dangerous smirk on her face. He gulped looking at his sweetheart who was on fierce mode. He knew that she's going to vent out all the frustration on him which caused by the grandma.
Veer : Why... are you locking..th..the door? (He gulped)
Bani : Does it matter now, Veeranshu jiii?
Veer : Grandma is not here right so why are you still calling me ji? Just say Veer or Veeru as usual.
Bani : Ahaaan.. (She smirked, walking towards him while Veer was stepping backwards)
Veer : Look here, sweetheart. It was my grandma who provoked you so if you are brave enough then just go and show your fierce mode to her but not to an innocent poor soul like me.
As Veer was walking backwards, his back hit the wardrobe and Bani instantly trapped him between her and the wardrobe.
Bani : Are you trying to instigate me now? You want me to show my fierce mode to that Hitler grandma of yours and then she will just throw me out of your life. This is your plan right?
Veer : Oh God what the hell is this? Why are you assuming things like this? I never really meant that.
Bani : Now answer my question first. Why. You. Did. Not. Take. My. Side. When. Your. Grandma. Was. Scolding. Me? (She emphasised every word in a dangerous tone)
Veer : Baby... (He tried to wrapped his arm around her waist but a glare from her stopped him from doing that)
Bani : I need an answer right now! (She demanded)
Veer : Sweetheart, I'm really sorry for not taking your side when she was scolding you but trust me I was praying hard for you inside my heart.
Bani : What??? You were praying for me inside your heart? What was your mouth doing then? Can't you open your damn mouth and ask her to stop scolding me?
Veer : It was chewing food. (He said in a low tone but she heard it)
The next second Veer groaned in pain as Bani punched on his stomach.
Veer : Ouch sweetheart no violence please.
Bani : Stop making fun of me, Veer! Now answer me first. Why didn't you take my side just now? Yesterday when we were taking the vows you promised to support me always but today you broke that promise.

Veer slowly pulled her closer to him and pinned her hands behind her back. It was not a romantic gesture but he did that to avoid getting another punch from her.
Bani : Don't touch me, you idiot! (She tried to move away but he pulled her more closer to him)
Veer : Baby, listen to me. (He said huskily, trying to seduce her)
Bani : Stop using that husky tone!
Veer : Sweetheart, I'm sorry. (He whispered while sucking her right cheek and Bani started giving in)
Bani : I'm really disappointed with you, Veer. My parents never scolded me even when I commit a mistake but your grandma is scolding me unnecessarily. (She pouted)
Veer : I'm sorry, jaan. She is quite strict that's why. Please adjust her behaviour for few more days. (He said, kissing her pout)
Bani : How to adjust? We just got married yesterday and I'm getting scolded by your grandma today.
Veer slid his hand around her belly inside her saree and caressed it with his fingers. Bani's breath hitched when he slowly brushed his lips through her jawline till her neck. Bani closed her eyes feeling their closeness and the new sensation.
Veer : I love you. (He whispered while kissing her neck)
Bani : Veeeeerr. (She moaned when his tongue tasted her skin)
Veer pressed her waist with his both hands and Bani arched her back, giving him more access on her neck. He gently sucked her neck and collarbone while Bani clutched his shoulders in her both palms.
Veer : Do you like it, sweetheart? (He asked while placing wet kisses on her shoulder)
Bani : Hmmm. (She was feeling the pleasure with her eyes closed)
They were enjoying their moment until they heard a knock sound on their room door. Bani quickly opened her eyes and moved back from him.

She glared at him for trying to distract her and he immediately went to unlock the door after adjusting his shirt and messy hair. Their eyes widened when they saw the hitler grandma standing there with a straight face and Chandrakala beside her. Bani quickly covered her head with her pallu after receiving a glare from the grandma.

Veer : Mom, Grandma? You both are here?
Grandma : Why? I can't come here to see my grandson?
Veer : Arre, no such thing grandma. You are always welcome. Please come in. (He moved aside and grandma walked in)
Bani raised her eyebrow at Chandrakala and Chandrakala smirked at Bani.
Bani's mind voice : Oh no, my mother-in-law is giving me a dangerous smirk. I'm sure the Hitler is going to eat my brain again.
Grandma started scanning the room and suddenly her expression changed into disappointment or disgust. It wasn't obvious to find out the real expression on her straight face. She then stared at Bani with sharp eyes.
Bani's mind voice : Okay, I'm dead today.
Grandma : What time you stepped into this room after your marriage yesterday? (She asked Bani)
Bani looked at her confusedly and Chandrakala answered her question.
Chandrakala : Badi ma, I think it was about 10 in the night.
Grandma : Why are you answering me? Your daughter-in-law can't answer it? (She yelled)
Bani : Grandma ji, I entered at 10pm as aunty ji said.
Grandma : Now, it's 11 in the morning. It means it has been 13 hours since you stepped into this room. Am I right?
Bani's mind voice : Why is she counting the hours now? What's her problem?
Bani : You are right, grandma ji.
Grandma : It has been 13 hours and you still have not cleaned this room yet? You can't even keep this room clean and neat then how are you going to lead the family in future? (She yelled again and Bani looked at her with wide eyes)

Veer's mind voice : Oh no, I don't think so Bani will keep her mouth shut now. God please save her again.
Chandrakala : Badi ma, we have servants here. They will clean the room. I will order them right now. (She was about to call the servants but grandma stopped her)
Grandma : Chandrakala, stop pampering your daughter-in-law too much. She can't even clean the room she is staying? What type of girl she is?
Bani stomped her foot and glared at Veer. Veer lowered his head to avoid receiving her death glare.
Grandma : Now, I want her to clean the room neatly within 20 minutes. (She commanded)
Veer : Okay grandma, she will clean it. You can go take rest first and I will call you once she is done with cleaning.
Bani gave a 'you-are-dead' look to Veer.
Grandma : No, I want to see how she is cleaning the room. Let her do it in front my eyes right now!
Chandrakala and Veer's eyes popped out of their socket. They gave pleading looks to Bani to obey what grandma said and Bani gave a dangerous glare to both of them.
Bani : Okay, grandma ji. I will clean this room now. (She agreed all of sudden and started cleaning the room)

Grandma sat on the couch and started observing Bani as she was sweeping the floor. Veer slowly went towards his mom and they stepped a little far away from the Hitler.
Veer : Mom, she was already scolding me for not taking her side just now and now grandma is adding more fuel to the fire. Please save me later from her. I beg you, mom.
Chandrakala : Save you? Who's going to save me then? She was giving me dangerous glares just now. I beg you now please handle your wife before she launch herself on me.
Veer : Mom, please behave as a mother-in-law. Aren't you ashamed of being afraid of your daughter-in-law?
Chandrakala : Aren't you ashamed of being afraid of your own wife? (She snapped back)
Veer : But mom... (He pouted)
Chandrakala : Stop it, Veer. Let me rehearse on how to apologise Bani later.
Veer : Best mother-in-law ever. (He said mockingly)
Chandrakala glared at him and started doing rehearsals on how to apologise to Bani. Bani was cleaning the room sincerely and she cleaned it neatly within 20 minutes as the grandma ordered.
Bani : Grandma ji, I'm done.
Grandma : Good. I will check your room every morning. Make sure it must be clean and neat always. Am I understood?
Bani : Yes, grandma ji.
Grandma left the room after passing a glare at Chandrakala for not teaching good habits to Bani. Veer and Chandu breathed a sigh of relief as grandma left but they were unaware of another storm waiting for them right in front of their eyes. Bani stood in front of them with a raised eyebrow and arms across her chest.

Chandrakala : Bani beta, you seemed to be tired. Please come and sit. I will bring juice for you. (She smiled sheepishly and tried to escape but Bani stopped her)
Bani : My dear mother-in-law, I don't need your fake concern on me now.
Chandrakala : No dear, I'm going to bring juice for you. Veer, you stay here with your wife. I will bring juice for you both. (She immediately left the room leaving Veer with his fierce lioness)
Veer : Mom no!!!!
Veer's mind voice : Damn, mom betrayed me again. Veer, faster prepare a reason and escape before she starts to roar.
Bani : Why are you waiting here for? (She asked calmly)
Veer : Huh? Hmm just to be with you. (He smiled sheepishly but his eyes were pleading her to let him go)
Bani : Awww that's so sweet of you, Veeranshu ji. I'm so proud to be your wife. (She said sarcastically)
Veer : Baby, I'm so sorry again. I just.... (Bani cut him)
Bani : Oh no, prannath. How could you say sorry to your wife? Please don't add more into my sins. You are my God and I'm your loyal devotee. (She said dramatically gritting her teeth)
Veer : Sweetheart, please don't talk to me like this.
Bani : Oh my God, my patidev. You are standing for too long. Please come and sit here. (She dragged him to the bed and made him sit there)
Veer : Sweetheart, what are you doing?
Bani : Patidev, do you want me to massage your feet? I'm sure they would be hurt for being on ground for so long. Please give me your precious feet I will give you a massage.
Veer : What??? (He quickly got up from the bed)
Bani : Prannath, please sit down. It's hurting me to see you standing in front of me.
Veer : Sweetheart, please don't talk like this. I know you are upset with me... (Bani cut him)
Bani : Arre, what are you even saying? How could I be upset with my husband who is like a God to me? (She said calmly yet in a very dangerous tone which was clearly understood by Veer)
Veer's mind voice : Okay, I got it. She is venting out her anger on me in this way. I think I should order someone to dig my grave today.
Bani : Patidev, what are you thinking? Please don't give too much work to your brain. Let it take rest first. You also take rest here and I will massage your feet. (Saying this, she pushed him to sit and took his legs on her lap)
Veer : No sweetheart, please leave me. (He pulled back his legs and quickly ran out of the room)
Bani was extremely furious at Veer and her mother-in-law. She planned to take revenge on them later.

Veer straight away ran to the living room to see his parents sitting there. He settled himself safely between his mom and dad.
Balwant : Veer, I'm so sorry. I just heard what happened just now. I hope Bani didn't smack you much.
Chandrakala : How many slaps you received from her, Veer? (She asked and Ballu chuckled)
Veer : Mom, you are such a traitor. You left me alone with a lioness there.
Chandrakala : I'm sorry, beta. It's personal between you and your wife so it wouldn't be decent if I interfere in it that's why I gave you guys some space.
Balwant : Leave that. Faster tell us, how many slaps, punches and kicks you received today? (He asked excitedly)
Veer : Dad!!! None of them. (He said disappointedly)
Ballu/Chandu : Really???? (They asked in unison being equally shocked)
Veer : Yes. She didn't even say anything about that instead she was giving me a different kind of torture by calling me prannath, patidev and (He explained what happened in the room)
Balwant : Oh, sounds interesting.
Veer : Dad!!! (He pouted)
Chandrakala : Veer, I'm sure something big is waiting for you in future. Be careful, beta. See you later if you are safe and sound. (She caressed his hair and walked away)
Balwant : All the best, my son. I hope you will survive this time. (He showed thumbs up and walked away too)
Veer : God, thank you so much for blessing me with these two traitors in my life as my parents. (He said exasperatedly)

In the evening, Vani's reception took place. After that incident, Bani started speaking to Veer and Chandrakala with utmost respect which literally choked them. They tried to convince her but she didn't pay heed to them. Bani got ready in a beautiful turquoise colour lehenga while Veer got ready in his black Sherwani for their reception.

The reception was held at a grand hotel in Mumbai as Singhanias and Sharmas invited all of their business partners and their respective families to attend. Veer and Bani were the center of attraction as they looked extremely perfect together. They were standing on the middle of stage giving poses to the photographers with the guests when Bani's family entered the hotel. She immediately left hold of Veer's hand and ran to her parents.

Bani : Mumma, papa, bhai and bhabhi!!! (She hugged one after one)
Aayush : How are you, beta?
Bani : I'm okay, dad. (She said sadly, giving mini heart attack to her parents)
Tanvi : Bani, are you alright? Why are you looking sad?
Meera : Bani, is there any problem between you and Veer?
Tapish : I'm sure she is the one who created the problem. (He chuckled)
Bani : Shut up, bhai! You always support others blindly. (Then she turned to her mom and dad) Mumma, I'm not happy here. They cheated all of us. Papa, your friend cheated on you. They aren't taking care of me. Mumma, your friend is making me clean the whole house alone. (She said with fake tears)
If Bani had got married to a stranger, their family members would believe whatever she blabbered to them but since they knew Ballu and Chandu well, they didn't seemed to buy her lie. Her family members were looking at her in disbelief while Tapish rolled his eyes and went away.

Suddenly they heard a voice behind Bani grabbing all their attention.
Tanvi : Chandu.. (She hugged her)
Chandrakala : What is my daughter-in-law complaining to you?
Aayush : Nothing. Just forget her crap. Where is Balwant?
Bani : Crap???
Chandrakala : Balwant is there, talking with the guests. (She pointed at where Balwant was and Aayush left to that place)
Bani : I know no one is going to believe me. I'm an orphan already. No one is supporting me.
Tanvi : Bani! (She glared at her)
Chandrakala : Bani beta, why are you talking like this?
Meera : Aunty, she said you made her clean the whole house alone. It's not that we believe her but can we know what made her say that?
Veer suddenly appeared there out of nowhere.
Veer : Bhabhi, I will tell you that.
Bani : Shut up. Let me tell them.
Veer : You shut up. I know you will lie more.
Bani : You shut up! I will tell them how you, your mom and grandma tortured me today.
Veer : You are lying to them. Tell them the real story.
Bani : I know what to tell. You better shut up and go away. (She snapped back and immediately bit her tongue when they heard Hitler's voice there)
Grandma cleared her throat and joined them while glaring at Bani. Bani quickly covered her head with her dupatta and hid herself behind Veer. Tanvi and Meera looked at Bani's sudden change of behaviour with wide eyes.
Chandrakala : Tanvi, this is my badi ma from Pune. And Badi ma, this is Tanvi, Bani's mother and that is Meera, Bani's sister-in-law.
Tanvi : Namaste ji.
Meera : Namaste, grandma. (She bent down to take her blessings)
Veer : Bhabhi is smarter than you. (He whispered to Bani and she glared at him)
Grandma : Namaste. May God bless you always. (She greeted Tanvi and blessed Meera)
Bani's mind voice : God, please make sure this Hitler grandma didn't hear what I said to Veer just now.
Grandma : Veer, I heard your wife was snapping back at you. (She said with straight face)
Veer : No grandma. It was actually my mistake.
Bani : Grandma ji, I'm so sorry. I will never snap back Veeranshu ji anymore. It was my mistake. Veeranshu ji, please forgive me for my mistake. (She joined her hands and apologised to him innocently)
Tanvi and Meera were witnessing it with wide eyes which were about to pop out from their socket.
Meera : Ma, what's going on here? She is calling him as Veeranshu ji? Is this our Bani? (She whispered to Chandrakala and Tanvi)
Chandrakala : I will explain this to you later. Just enjoy the drama now. (She winked at Meera)
Grandma : I don't want you to repeat this mistake again. Now both of you go back to the stage. This generation kids have no manners at all. They just left the stage and roaming around at their own reception! (She ordered and Vani quickly went back to the stage)
Grandma nodded at Chandrakala and Tanvi then walked away to meet the other guests.

On the stage :
Veer : Sweetheart, I will nominate you for oscar award this year. You are the best actress of my life.
Bani : Veeranshu ji, there is a surprise for you in our room later. (She said with a dangerous smirk)
Veer : No sweetheart, I don't want any surprises. I have already had enough surprises for today. Not anymore please. (He surrendered himself)
Bani : What makes you think that I will listen to you? I have decided to give you the surprise today so I will give it and you are gonna take it. (She said in a final tone and Veer couldn't help himself but nodded at her)
After that, Veer and Bani's cousins and close friends arrived one by one to congratulate them. They gave a lot of poses to the photographers with a smile plastered on their face. The reason behind their fake smile was different. For Veer, it was due to the fear of receiving the surprise from his violent wife whereas for Bani, it was due to the frustration on the Hitler grandma as she was not letting her to live in peace.

The reception ended around 10pm and they went back to Singhania mansion. Once they reached home, everyone call it a night and went back to their respective rooms. Veer refused to follow Bani to their room but she dragged him with her and locked the door.
Bani : Change your clothes first, Veeranshu ji.
Veer : Hmm okay. (He took his usual nightwear and went into the washroom)
Veer was simply wasting the time in the washroom for more than half an hour. 
Bani : Veeranshu ji, are you going to sleep there tonight?
Veer's mind voice : I guess this will be the better option than going out.
Bani : Are you there or you jumped out through the window? I'm waiting for you here. Come out now.
Veer's mind voice : God, please show some mercy on me. Please calm her down before I step out from this bathroom.
Bani : Are you coming out now or want me to break the door?
Bani's mind voice : Shit, what did I just say? How can I break this big door? No, Bani don't give up. Just maintain your range.
Veer : I'm coming. (He slowly opened the door and peeped out to see Bani waiting for him in front the bathroom)
Bani : Come out! (She demanded and he followed)
She held his hands gently and took him near the bed. She made him sit on the bed. Veer didn't dare to open his mouth so he just decided to go with the flow.
Bani : Do you want to drink water?
Veer nodded and got up from the bed.
Bani : No. You just sit here and I will bring it for you.
Bani poured some water into a glass and took it near his lips. He tried to take the glass in his hand but she refused.
Bani : No. I will hold this glass and you drink it from my hand.
Veer : No sweetheart, I can drink it myself.
Bani : I said I will do it! (She said rudely)
Veer : Okay, fine. (He drank it without further argument)
Bani : Good boy.
Veer : Sweetheart, are you upset with me?
Bani just gave him a gentle smile instead of answering his question. She moved to her side of the bed and started arranging the pillows. She took extra pillows from the cupboard and arranged them on the middle of the bed.

Veer : Bani, what are you doing? Why are you arranging the pillows like that?
Bani : Shhh don't ask anything. Come with me. (She held his hands and took him to his side of the bed and gently laid him on it then she went to her side of the bed and laid down)
Veer : What are you doing?
Bani : We are going to sleep.
Veer : But why these pillows between us?
Bani quickly sat on the bed and glared at him.
Bani : Now listen to me! That is your side and this is my side. These pillows are the border between us. You are not going to touch me anymore and make sure stay in your limits! (She said everything in a single breath)
Veer : What??? (He asked in disbelief)

Bani : I'm not going to repeat it one more time. Listen carefully. You are not allowed to touch me anymore. You will stay there and I will stay here. (She said in a final tone and laid back facing the wall)
Veer : Baby, this is not fair. Don't do this to me. (He touched her arm but she jerked away his hand)
Bani : If you touch me again, I swear I will sleep on the couch after this. You decide now. Want me to sleep on the bed or couch?
Veer : Jaan, please... (She cut him)
Bani : Bed or couch?
Veer : Bani...
Bani : Bed or couch?
Veer : Okay, fine. Just sleep on the bed. (He switched off the lights and laid down facing the other side)
