The next morning, Bani was sleeping peacefully in her room when her mom entered to wake her up.
Tanvi : Bani, wake up. It's going to be 11:00am now. Faster wake up. (She said, tapping Bani's arm)
Bani : 5 minutes, mumma.
Tanvi : No more 5 minutes. Wake up now, beta. You are going to get married soon so please learn to wake up early from now onwards.
Bani : Mumma, please don't disturb me. Go away from here. (She covered her ears with another pillow)
Tanvi : Yeah, do this at your in laws and they will definitely praise me for raising you like this. (She said, making a face)
Bani : It's okay. Ballu uncle and Chandu aunty won't scold me early in the morning like you always do.

She pulled away Bani's blanket and Bani finally woke up with a lazy yawn. She sat on the bed and stretched her arms.
Tanvi : Uffffo, lazy queen. Enough of stretching yourself. Go and take your shower now. We have to go for your wedding shopping in a while.
Bani : Okay, mumma. Please leave my room now. (She said exasperatedly)
Tanvi : Haan, haan. I'm leaving. (She was about to leave but stopped when something struck her)
Tanvi went near Bani and lifted her head up holding her chin.
Bani : What are you doing, mumma?
Tanvi : What is this, Bani?
Bani : Huh? What?
Tanvi : Come here. (She dragged Bani in front of the mirror and showed the love bite on her neck)

Bani's eyes widened.
Bani's mind voice : Oh No!!! Veeru what have you done to me!
Tanvi : What mark is this?
Bani : Nothing, mumma. A mosquito bit me last night.
Tanvi : I'm your mom, Bani! Stop lying to me.
Bani lowered her head and started preparing for her next lie.
Tanvi : What is this, Bani? I didn't expect this from you!
Bani : Mumma, listen to me. It's not my fault. It was Veer.
Tanvi : So it's his deed? He gave you this mark?
Bani : Yes, mumma. It's common nowadays...
Tanvi : Just shut up. Ask him to come here now. I need to talk to him!
Bani : Mumma, please don't do it. Anyway, we are getting married this week so....
Tanvi : Just shut up! This is how I raised you all these 25 years? How could you both cross your limits before getting married?
Bani : Mumma, it's not like what you think. It's just.... (She stopped when they heard Aayush's voice behind them)
Aayush : Bani beta, you still haven't wake up?
Bani : I'm awake, papa.
Aayush : Acha. Tanvi, stop scolding my princess early in the morning. Meera is searching for you at the kitchen. Go and see her.
Tanvi : Haan. (She glared at Bani and walked out from the room)
Bani quickly covered the hickey with her hair and smiled sheepishly at her dad. He asked her to freshen up and left the room.
Bani's mind voice : Ufff, thank you so much papa. You saved me at the right moment. Arghhh I will kill this Veeru for embarrassing me in front my mom.

After getting caught by her mom, Bani has been escaping from her mom's eyes since that moment. She hid herself at the lawn and took out her phone to inform Veer but to her bad luck, Chandrakala and Veer already arrive to Sharma mansion as they planned to go for shopping together. Bani quickly ran towards them.
Chandrakala : Hi Bani. How are you, dear?
Bani : I'm fine, aunty. Can I borrow your son for a while?
Veer : For what?
Bani : I need to talk to you. It's important.
Chandrakala : Okay, I'm leaving. (She chuckled and walked inside the house)
Veer : What happened, sweetheart?
Bani : Veer, actually mumma... (She stopped when she heard Tanvi's voice)
Tanvi : Bani!!
Bani : Oh shit! (She muttered under her breath and Veer looked at her confusedly)
Tanvi : Veer beta, come inside. We need to talk. (She said, giving him a dangerous smile)
Veer : What's wrong? (He signalled to Bani)
Tanvi : Veer, Bani, I said come inside.
They nodded like obedient children and followed Tanvi. Veer was totally unaware of the issue but Bani was praying all the way to make sure Tanvi doesn't reveal it in front of her dad and Veer's mom. Tanvi took both of them to Bani's room.
Veer : Aunty, what happened? Is everything fine?
Tanvi : Veer, I need to talk to you.
Veer : Sure, aunty.
Bani's mind voice : God, please help me to make sure Veer doesn't show my mom the love bite I gave him last night. It's okay if he get caught but not me please.
Tanvi : Veer, can you explain me about this? (She asked, moving Bani's hair from her neck and showing the mark)
Veer's eyes popped out the same way as Bani's eyes did few moments ago. He felt embarrassed and looked at Bani but she already lowered her head.
Tanvi : Answer me, Veer.
Veer : Aunty, hmm...actually I... don't know about.... (He hesitated but stopped when he saw Tanvi was smiling at him)
Tanvi : Veer beta, just calm down. I was just teasing you both.
Bani : Mumma??? (She stared at her with big eyes)
Veer : It means you were not upset with us, huh, aunty?
Tanvi : No, Veer. I trust my children more than anything. I don't want to know the story behind that mark but just make sure both of you stay in your limits till next week. (She giggled)
Veer and Bani breathed a sigh of relief.
Bani : Mumma, this is not fair. You have been fooling me since morning. You should have at least scold this idiot for biting me. (She frowned in disappointment)
Veer : Oh really? Should I tell her what you did? (He raised his eyebrow and Bani nodded in negative)
Tanvi : What she did, Veer? Tell me if she did any mistake, I will teach her a lesson.
Bani : Veer, no!!!
Veer : Aunty, see here. This mark was given by your daughter. (He said, moving his collar to show his hickey)

Tanvi's eyes and mouth widened in shock.
Tanvi : Bani????
Bani covered her eyes with her palm.
Tanvi : Both of you are really shameless. (She shook her head and walked away)
Bani glared at Veer after her mom left. Veer understood her intention and quickly ran behind Tanvi before she could attack him.

After some time, all the ladies along with Veer and Tapish left to the shopping mall. The two boys tried their best to avoid going for shopping with the ladies but they didn't had any other options as Bani emotionally blackmailed Tapish by saying she will only wear the wedding lehenga chosen by Tapish whereas Chandrakala forced Veer as he's the groom. They joined them with grumpy faces.

First they started with selecting lehengas for Bani for their sangeet, wedding and reception. The ladies pushed the boys far from them as they got too excited on choosing lehengas for Bani.
Tapish : So this is why they invited us?
Veer : Ufff, it's all fate bhai.
Tapish : I literally cancelled my meeting because of my crazy sister but now she doesn't even care about my presence here.
Veer : Same goes here. They forced me saying I'm the groom but now no one is paying attention to the groom.
Tapish : Don't worry, Veer. They will surely pay you attention when your turn comes but for that please wait for at least 5 to 6 hours. (He chuckled)
Veer : What??? Tapish bhai, are you serious? 5 to 6 hours?
Tapish : Yes, they did that for my wedding too.
Veer : No way! Even 5 to 6 minutes also I'm feeling suffocated here so I'm not gonna stay here for 5 to 6 hours.
Tapish : You have to, my boy. At least be glad that I have informed you about this because no one informed me during my time and I was waiting for them like a dumb.
Veer : Woah bhai!!! This is why our fathers refused to follow us? Great escape man!
Tapish giggled at Veer's statement.

Bani was selecting the dresses by putting it on her and showing it to Veer through a mirror. They were stealing glances at each other and started discussing with their mind voices but the others were unaware of it as they thought Bani was selecting the dresses by looking at the mirror in front of her.
(P.S. From here Veer and Bani's conversation will be through their mind voice. I know there is no logic here but it's acceptable in fan fiction 🙈)

Bani : Veer, how's this? (She showed a green colour lehenga)
Veer : Not nice, sweetheart. It's too dark.
Bani : Okay.
After some time,
Bani : This one? (Showed light blue colour lehenga)
Veer : That's too bright.
Bani : How about this? (She showed a black and red lehenga)
Veer : Wow this is nice, sweetheart.
Bani : I will fix this for our wedding.
Veer : No no, this is for our sangeet function. Choose something else for wedding.
Bani : Okay.
She kept it aside and started selecting new lehengas.
Bani : Veer, this one? (She showed a violet colour lehenga)
Veer : Hmm keep it aside for now and choose something else.
Bani : How about this? (She showed a turquoise colour lehenga)
Veer : This is perfect sweetheart. Fix it for our reception.
Bani : Ufff, I was choosing for our wedding, Veer.
Veer : No. This will be suitable for reception only.
Bani : Okay. (She kept it aside along with the sangeet lehenga)
Veer : Sweetheart???
Bani : Haan, Veer?
Veer : Look at the red colour one. It's damn beautiful. (He said, pointing at a lehenga with his eyes)
Bani : Which one? Where?
Veer : See there. The red colour lehenga beside the gold colour one.
Bani saw the lehenga and asked the salesperson to show it to her. She took it and put on her in front of the mirror again while looking at Veer through it. Veer was mesmerised with that lehenga on her.
Veer : Sweetheart, I'm damn sure you will look drop dead gorgeous in this lehenga. Please fix this for our wedding na? (He showed his puppy face)
Bani : I also love it, Veer. I will try these three lehengas first.
Veer : Okay.
(Their mind voice conversation ended here)

Bani : Mumma, I have choose these three for me. The black and red is for sangeet, this turquoise one is for reception and this red one is for wedding. (She explained, showing all 3 lehengas to them)
Chandrakala : Wow Bani dear, I must say your choice is the best. You have selected the best lehengas for you.
Meera : You are right, aunty. Bani, I thought you will take more time to select even one lehenga but you selected 3 lehengas within 10 minutes. I'm really surprised now.
Bani's mind voice : All credit goes to my to be patidev. (She smiled at Veer and he winked at her)
Tanvi : Beta, go and try these 3 lehengas first.
Bani : Okay mumma.
Meera : Bani, do you want me to come with you?
Bani : For what, bhabhi?
Meera : To help you. The lehengas seemed to be quite heavy so you can't wear them yourself.
Bani : No bhabhi. I can manage it. If I need help, I will definitely call you.
Meera : Alright then.
Bani took the 3 lehengas and passed by Veer to the fitting room with a smirk. Veer acted like he was getting a call and he also followed behind Bani. Bani stopped and turned at him when she reached the fitting room.
Bani : Why are you following me?
Veer : I thought you called me here.
Bani : No, I didn't call you.
Veer : Okay fine. I'm going.
Bani : Veer, no! Please stay here. I may need your help.
Veer : Why me? Meera bhabhi said she will help you.
Bani : Arghh you are so unromantic, Veer. Fine, I don't need your help. You may go now.
Veer : Hey sweetheart, I was just kidding. I will help you, okay? Go and wear them first.
Bani : Okay. (She went inside the fitting room while Veer waited for her outside there)

After few minutes, Bani opened the door wearing the black and red lehenga which looked like it was specifically designed for her size. Veer was amazed with her beauty.
Veer : Wow sweetheart, you are looking so beautiful in this lehenga. It looks like it was specifically designed for you.
Bani : The credit goes to you, Veer. Thank you.
Veer : I really can't wait for our sangeet function, baby. I'm excited to see you wearing this lehenga on that day.
Bani : Wait, Veer. Let me try the other two too. (She again went inside the fitting room)
After 5 minutes, Bani opened the door and called Veer. She asked him to help her with the dori of her blouse but he hesitated at first so she pulled him inside the fitting room and closed the door.
Veer : Sweetheart? What are you doing? What if anyone see us like this?
Bani : No one will see us, Veeru. Just help me to tie this dori.
She turned and showed him her back. He gulped looking at the backless blouse which gave him a good view of her back from her nape till her waist.
Bani : Veer, faster tie it. What are you doing there?
Veer : Ha...haan I will...tie now. (He stammered and Bani smirked as she saw his reaction through the mirror in front of them)
Bani : Faster, Veer. (She arched her back, giving him tough time to control his hormones)
Veer slowly brought his hands to the dori and made the knot by intentionally tracing his fingers on her back. She felt goosebumps with his touch and he smirked looking at her reaction through the mirror. He placed a soft kiss on her back to which she jerked and stared at him.

Veer : Done, sweetheart.
Bani : Huh? (Still being lost in his gaze)
Veer : I said I'm done with tying the knot.
Bani : Okay. (She turned to face him and pecked on his lips repeatedly)
Veer : Wow my jungili billi is on romantic mode now. (He smirked naughtily)
Bani : Okay enough. Get out now. I need to try the wedding lehenga.
Veer : I can help you with that, sweetheart. Let me stay here please.
Bani : No way. I will call you if I need your help. Get out.
Veer : Hmm please baby. (He made a pout)
Bani : Cannot. Just go. (She opened the door and pushed him out)
Veer : Sweetheart, this is not fair! (He shouted from outside)
Bani : Just shut up. (She smiled and started changing her lehenga)
After some time Bani opened the door wearing the red lehenga which they chose for their wedding. She searched for Veer but he was not there. She called out his name few times but he didn't come to her. She got disappointed and was about to close the door again when he quickly got into her room and locked it behind him.
Bani : Ufff, you startled me.
No response from him. She looked at him through the mirror and realised that he was checking out from top to bottom of her front view through the mirror. He literally gaped at her without realising that she was staring at him.

Bani : Veeranshu!! (She turned to face him)
Veer : Baby, I have no words to describe your beauty now. Do you remember I used to say that you are a Goddess and now you are proving it to me. You are truly a Goddess, sweetheart. (Bani blushed at his statement and kissed on his cheek)
Bani : Again the credit goes to you, Veer. I love you.
Veer : I love you more, sweetheart. (He kissed on her forehead and hugged her)
Bani : Veer, this is fitting room. We can't do our romance here. Please go out before our family come here to search for me. (She broke the hug)
Veer : Ufff Bani, I really can't wait to marry you.
Bani : Me too, Veer. Just one week to go.
Veer : It will be like one year for me. Why don't we get married today itself?
Bani : Ufffoo Veeru, have some patience please. Just few more days only. Calm down baby. (She patted his shoulder)
Veer : Sweetheart, can we take a selfie now?
Bani : Sure, Veeru.
Veer took out his phone and took few selfies of them where Bani was giving different poses there making him chuckle.
Bani : Okay enough. Go out, Veer. Let me change my clothes.
Veer : Jaan, please let me see you for another 2 minutes. I just can't take my eyes off you.
Bani : Hmm okay. (She wrapped her arms around his neck and fixed her gaze on his eyes)
They shared an eye lock for few minutes before they heard a knock on their fitting room door. Both of their eyes popped out and started panicking until they heard Meera's voice.

Meera : Bani, are you here?
Bani : Ha...haan, bhabhi. (She responded nervously)
Meera : What are you doing inside there for so long? Did you try the lehengas? Are you struggling with the blouse?
Bani : No bhabhi, I'm fine. I'm just trying all 3 lehengas together.
Meera : Okay, come out. We also want to see how they look on you.
Veer : Oh no, sweetheart. Just say no to her. (He whispered)
Bani : No bhabhi actually I'm already done with trying the 3 lehengas. I'm changing back to my casuals now.
Meera : Hmm okay. I will wait for you here.
Veer : Shit!!! We are dead today. (He whispered again)
Bani : Bhabhi, it's okay you don't have to wait for me. I will need some time. You may wait outside with others.
Meera : Hmm okay Bani, faster come out. (She left from there and Vani breathed a sigh of relief)
Bani : Veer, please leave this room right now.
Veer : Okay. Open the door slightly and check if another there or not.

Bani opened the door slightly and peeped out. Veer grabbed the opportunity to kiss on her back and she startled. She shut the door and glared at him. He pulled her closer to him by pulling her belly chain and held her waist. Her breathe hitched due to their closeness. He slowly leaned in and attached their lips. They kissed for a while and Bani broke it when he tried to enter her mouth. She opened the door while blushing and quickly pushed him out when she was sure there was no one outside. He immediately left the fitting room and walked to the family members by acting like just ending up a call.

After that, they selected 3 wedding sherwanis for Veer and then they selected few traditional attires for their family members. When they were done with their shopping, all of them went to the billing counter to pay the bills. The 2 female cashiers there were smirking at Veer and Bani making them feel awkward. Veer raised his eyebrow and checked around the surroundings. His eyes then caught the computer screen and he realised there was a cctv camera at the fitting room entrance and these 2 women must have watched their actions through the camera. He felt embarrassed and Bani was still puzzle about the happening. He reassured her saying nothing and they left to home.
