At Sharma mansion :
The ladies took Bani and the men took Veer to the decorated stage. They had the privilege of grabbing everyone's attention as it was VAni's roka ceremony. Veer and Bani sat beside each other on a golden couch on the stage.

Veer : Hey sweetheart. (He grinned at her)
Bani : Shut up. (She glared at him)
Veer : When someone greets you, you should greet them back. You have no manners at all.
Bani : Oh yeah teach me some manners please. (She said sarcastically)
Veer : Okay relax babe. Are you angry with me?
Bani : No! (She said that angrily)
Veer : Then give me your hand. (He forwarded his hand to her)
Bani : No thanks. (She jerked his hand and turned away her face)
Tanvi noticed Bani's behaviour and went near her.
Tanvi : Bani, why are you making your face like that? Please smile. People are looking at you.
Veer : Aunty, don't worry. I will make her to smile now.
Bani rolled her eyes and Tanvi left.
Veer : Sweetheart.... (He tickled her and she smiled lightly)
Bani : Stop it. Don't touch me.
Veer : Then keep smiling like this.
Bani : Please don't talk to me, Veeranshu. I'm really upset with you.
Veer : Upset? But why?
Bani : You knew it!
Veer : Okay, I'm sorry about just now. I was just playing with you.
Bani : It's okay, leave it.
Bani's mind voice : I thought he would give me the gift if I show face to him but still he is not giving anything. Maybe he really didn't get a gift for me.
Veer : Sweetheart? (He held her hand which was on her lap)
Bani : Veer, just focus on the guests. They are looking at us now. (She said while smiling at the guests)
Veer's mind voice : I'm sorry for disappointing you, sweetheart. But trust me I will give you the gift later once we are done with this function.

The function ended around 9pm and all the guests started leaving Sharma mansion while the close relatives and their family members remained there. Veer was talking with Mahir, Tapish, Daksh and Ponky while sparing glances at Bani in between as she was busy talking to Bela and Meera. Bani totally ignored Veer as she was upset for not receiving any gift from him but little did she know, he has bought something special for her.

Meera : So Bela, at last we get the chance to speak to each other.
Bela : Yes, bhabhi. Bani and Veer have told us a lot about you at Goa. They are so lucky to get such a caring and sportive sister in law.
Meera : Thank you, Bela. So how's your marriage life? I heard you both were best friends too like Veer and Bani.
Bela : We are still best friends till today, bhabhi.
Bela and Meera were chitchatting about their marriage lives whereas Bani was too lost in her own thoughts. Bela noticed that.
Bela : Oye, Bani? It's your function but why are you looking so dull?
Meera : Maybe Veer refused to give her a kiss. (She and Bela chuckled)
Bani : Bhabhi please. (She huffed)
Meera : Then why are you putting a sad face now? You were smiling happily just now.
Bani : Not only now. I'm sad itself since before the function started. (She blurted out)
Bela : But why? What happened babe? Anything serious?
Meera : Wait I will call Veer here.
Bani : Bhabhi no please!!! I'm sad because of him so don't call him. I'm upset with him. (She pouted)
Bela : What happened yaar?
Bani : Nothing.
Bela : Will you tell it now or want me to call Veer and ask him?
Bani : No, don't. I will tell you.
Meera : Okay go ahead.
Bani : Actually I thought Veer will gift me something today but he didn't do it. (She said, making a face)
Bela/Meera : What??? (They asked in disbelief)
Meera : You are upset with him just for this small matter?
Bela : Oh God, Bani Sharma!! You are going to be 25 so please behave as one.
Bani : Now what's the problem with my behaviour? (She frowned)
Bela : You are upset over a small thing and you were creating scene just now like Veer cheated on you. It's just the matter of a gift. (She rolled her eyes)
Bani : This is why I refused to tell it. You guys can't understand my feelings. No one understands me. (She stomped her foot and walked away to her room angrily)
Meera : Arre Bani??
Bela : She left. I really feel bad for Veer, bhabhi.
Meera : Why?
Bela : Because he is not going to marry a woman but a 5 years old kid. (She chuckled)
Meera : Hehe you are right but we all pampered her too much that's why she is behaving like this.
Bela : I knew that, bhabhi.
After that Bela and Meera went to Veer and informed him about Bani. He quickly rushed to Bani's room.

At Bani's room :
Bani was sitting on her bed sadly and was muttering something under her breath while drawing patterns with her fingers on the bed sheet. Veer came there and stopped by the door when he saw Bani sitting on the bed while talking to herself. He was sure that she would be scolding him there.

Veer : Bani? (He called and she saw him smiling at her)
Bani : What? (She asked angrily)
He went in and sat beside her on the bed but Bani moved away a little. He smiled at her antics and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
Veer : Baby, are you still upset with me?
Bani : Don't call me baby! I'm not a baby. (She jerked away his arm)
Veer : No, you are still a baby. Look at your face there. You are looking so cute like a baby when you are angry. (He said, pointing at the mirror in front them)
Bani : Who said I'm angry? I'm not angry. (She lowered her head and turned the other side)
Veer : Ufff sweetheart, please stop being so cute like this. I feel like want to eat you up.
Bani : Shut up, Veer. Just go away from here. (She got up from there and stood near the window)
Veer went and back hugged her. She did neither protest nor reciprocate it.
Veer : Sweetheart, are you alright? Is there anything else bothering you? (He asked, nuzzling into her neck)
Bani : Veer, are you getting bored of me?
Veer : Why are you asking like this?
Bani : I feel like you are getting bored of me. We can call it off if you are losing your interest on me.
Veer broke the hug and turned her to face him. She lowered her eyes and she was looking more sad than before. He stared at her lovingly.

Veer : What happened to you, Bani? Are you getting bored of me?
Bani : No, Veer. I will never get bored of you even in my dreams.
Veer : Then why are you asking me like this? Did I behave like I'm losing my interest on you at any place?
Bani nodded in negative.
Veer : Then why?
Bani : I just feel like that. I'm afraid that you will get bored of me after our marriage.
Veer : Or maybe I can say that you are afraid that YOU will get bored of me after our marriage. (He said being slightly annoyed)
Bani : Shut up. I told you right I will never get bored of you!
Veer : Then you also shut up. Don't assume things that will never ever happen with us.
Bani : Okay, fine. (She crossed her arms against her chest and turned the other side)
Veer : Fine! (He did the same like her)
They stood there for a while facing opposite directions waiting for the other person to speak. Bani looked at him from the corner of her eye and he did the same. They both caught each other looking secretly and smirked.

Bani cleared her throat to gain his attention but it went in vain. She rolled her eyes and waited for him to speak first.
Veer's mind voice : I won't start first sweetheart. I want to see how long you will carry on with your ego.
Bani's mind voice : Veer, why are you showing off your ego now? You won't lose your height if you speak first. I'm angry here but you are not trying out anything to pacify me.
They waited for 3 long minutes which felt like 3 decades to them and finally decided to give up their ego.
Bani/Veer : I'm sorry. (They said in unison and both of them looked at each other)
Bani : I'm sorry, Veeru.
Veer : I'm sorry too, sweetheart.
Bani extended her arms to hug him and he hugged her tightly.

(Ignore their attire and background)

They broke the hug and Veer cupped her face to kiss her on her forehead but she slightly pushed him away.
Veer : Why? (He raised his eyebrow)
Bani : I don't want your kiss.
Veer : But why? (He pouted)
Bani : When I asked you for a gift you can't give it but now you wanted to kiss me. I don't want your kiss until you give me a gift.
Veer : Ufffoo, sweetheart... My kiss is already a gift for you so why you need another gift? (He smirked and went near her but she pushed him again)
Bani : No, you can't kiss me until I get my gift from you.
Veer : Okay, fine. What you want now?
Bani : It should be a gift, idiot. You can't ask me what I want. Just get me what you prefer.
Bani's mind voice : Diamond necklace also will work. I can manage with it. 😂
Veer : Okay, I will give you the gift tomorrow. Now let me kiss you. (He tried to cup her face but she moved back)
Bani : No, give me the gift first then you can kiss me tomorrow.
Veer : Arghh sweetheart, this is pure torture yaar. (He made face)
Bani : I don't care. No gift, no kiss. That's it.
Veer : Are you sure?
Bani : Yes!
Veer : So you won't let me to kiss you until I give you a gift?
Bani : Yes!
Veer : Okay, but after getting the gift you must kiss me back.
Bani : Fine!
Veer : Challenge?
Bani : Yes, challenge.
Veer : Sure na?
Bani : I said yes!
Veer : Okay then.
He smirked mischievously and stepped forward towards her and she stepped backward.
Bani : What are you doing? (She looked at him confusedly)
Veer stepped forward, biting his lower lip and Bani stared at him with big eyes. She stepped backward and collided with the wall whereas he sandwiched her between him and the wall.
Bani : Why are you looking at me like that? Move back! (She tried to push him but he didn't move even an inch)
Veer smirked at her.
Bani : Veer, why are you behaving weirdly today? Move back or else I will shout and call everyone here.
Veer : What's weird in this? You are going to be my wife soon, baby. (He whispered, kissing her earlobe)
Bani's eyes popped out as it was the first time he was behaving oddly with her. In their relationship she was the bold one and he was the reserved one but today he was behaving strangely.
Bani : Wha...what's wrong... with you? I..I said no gift no kiss.. right? (She stammered due to their proximity and breathed heavily)
Veer : Yes, I knew it. I haven't kiss you what. (He said while kissing her neck to send shivers down her spine)

Bani closed her eyes and clutched her lehenga tightly. Veer smirked at his effects on her and traced his palm from her shoulder to her waist. She got goosebumps with his touch and shivered slightly. After a while he took off his hands from her waist and kissed on her forehead to which Bani opened her eyes.
Veer : See, I kissed you. (He smirked)
Bani : This is cheating, Veer. You tried to distract me. (She blushed, lowering her head)
Veer : Huh? Distract you? How baby?
Bani : You know what you did.
Veer : No, I don't know. Can you explain what I did?
Bani : Stop it, Veer. Just go from here.
Veer : Why? I won the challenge so now you have to kiss me back.
Bani : What?? What challenge? You haven't give me any gift yet then how can I kiss you back?
Veer : Who said I haven't gift you any gift yet? Look here. (He said, poking at her waist)
Bani checked at her waist and her eyes widened in amazement. He gifted her a platinum belly chain with diamond zircon stones in it.

Bani : Wow!!! (She exclaimed in surprise) Veer, this is marvellous. Oh God, I can't believe my eyes. Someone pinch me please.
Veer : Sweetheart, you are not dreaming. This is real. It's my gift for you. (He chuckled)
Bani : Awww thank you so much, Veer. (She kissed on his right cheek)
Veer : Do you like it?
Bani : Like, huh? I love it yaar. (She exclaimed in happiness)
Veer : Ufff, thank God. I was confused whether you will prefer to wear this belly chain or not.
Bani : I would prefer anything from you, Veer. Thanks a lot. I really love this. (She said, caressing the chain)
Veer : Then give me a kiss now.
Bani : I already gave you. Okay, one more time. (She kissed on his left cheek)
Veer : Sweetheart, what is this?
Bani : Kiss.
Veer : Oh really? Thanks for informing this. (He said, making a face)
Bani : Ufff Veeru, what else you want? (She asked, cupping his face)
He pointed at his lips and she started blushing.
Bani : Don't you feel like we have been kissing on lips often nowadays?
Veer : So what?
Bani : Why are you getting shameless nowadays? I really miss the old Veer who used to wipe off when I kiss him. This new Veer is always asking for kiss only. (She teased him)
Veer : Oh! Okay, fine. I don't need anything. Bye.
He pushed her slightly and walked out of the room. Bani ran behind him calling his name but he didn't stop anywhere. She thought he is upset as she teased him too much but little did she know that he felt guilty for begging her for a kiss desperately. He started feeling like he was taking advantage of their relationship but in reality Bani was just trying to pull his leg before giving him the kiss.
