Bani took out a blindfold from her pocket and covered Veer's eyes.
Veer : Hey, what are you doing?
Bani : Shhhh! Come with me.
Veer : Sweetheart, I can't see anything.
Bani : I will guide you, Veer. Hold me tightly. (She whispered huskily at his ears)
He smiled and wrapped his arm around her waist. She held his other hand and started taking him to the car. She made him sit inside the car and drove to the destination. 
Veer : Sweetheart, where are you kidnapping me? Can I open this? (He brought his hands to open the blindfold but Bani stopped him)
Bani : No! Don't open it. Shut up and sit! (She ordered)
Veer : Baby, it's my birthday but you are still scolding me. (He pouted cutely)
Bani : Awww I'm so sorry, baby. (She kissed on the pout and he blushed)
Veer : Make sure drive safe, Bani. If you kiss me like this while driving then my birthday will end up being my last day. (Hearing this Bani smacked on his mouth)
Veer : Ouch!!! Sweetheart!!
Bani : Stop talking nonsense, Veer!
Veer : Okay, I'm sorry. (He covered his mouth like an obedient kid)
5 minutes later,
Veer : Baby, I'm feeling bored. Talk something na.
No response.
Veer : Oye, are you there? (He brought his hand to her side and touched on her thigh)
Bani : Veer!!! (She pushed his hand away)
Veer : Why are you not responding?
Bani : Ufff Veeru, I was thinking something else that's why.
Veer : Your boyfriend is beside you only so what else you are thinking?
Bani : Huh? Thinking about my second boyfriend.
Veer : What??? (He brought his hand to her side and started tickling her)
Bani : I think I should have tied your hands along with your eyes too. (She jerked away his hands)
Veer sulked and made faces. They reached their destination and Bani stopped the car.
Veer : Where are we now? Can I open this blindfold?
Bani : No honey. Just wait for few more minutes I will open it.
She got down from the car and brought him out of the car.
Veer : Sweetheart, what's the time now?
Bani : 12:25am, Veer. (She guided him and they started walking)
Veer : Okay. Where are you taking me to?
Bani : You will know it.
Veer : Are we walking near the beach? I could hear the sound of waves.
Bani : Shhh, come quietly baby.

They reached the place and Bani opened his blindfold. He rubbed his eyes and opened it. The next second his eyes and mouth went wide and he was awestruck with the view in front of him.

Veer : Wow sweetheart!!! It's mind-blowing. I'm really impressed. Thanks a lot baby girl. (He hugged her side ways and kissed on her forehead)
Bani : Do you like it, Veer?
Veer : Isn't it obvious, sweetheart? I just love it!!! (He said excitedly)
Bani : There's one more surprise for you.
Veer : One more? How many surprises yaar? (He asked impatiently)
Suddenly they heard few voices screaming "surprise" chorally. Veer and Bani turned towards the direction and Veer got even more surprised. He saw Daksh, Ponky, Jay, Divya, Nisha and few more of their college friends were there. Daksh and Ponky immediately ran to Veer and jumped on him.
Daksh/Ponky : Happy Birthday, bhai!!!!!!! (They screamed on his ears)
Veer : Ahhhh! Guys, don't tear my eardrums.
Divya : Happy Birthday, Veer.
Nisha : Veer!!!! Happy Birthday!!
Veer : Thank you so much, girls.
He thanked them genuinely and looked at Bani who was already smiling at him. He whispered thank you to her and she blinked her eyes.
Veer : Hey, Nisha. When did you come back to Mumbai?
Nisha : Yesterday, Veer. It's all Bani's plan.
Veer : Sweetheart, since when you have been planning for this?
Bani : It's not important, Veer. Are you happy now?
Veer : I'm very happy, sweetheart. (He grinned)
Bani : I'm happy for you, Veer.
The other friends came there and started wishing Veer one by one. Everyone wished him except Jay. He stood alone there and hesitation was visible on his face which was noticed by Bani. She looked at Veer who was busy talking to his friends so she went to talk to Jay.

Bani : Hi, Jay.
Jay looked at Bani surprisedly.
Jay : Hi, Bani.
Bani : How are you?
Jay : Yeah, I'm fine. How about you?
Bani : I'm fine too. Why are you standing alone here? Come and join us.
Jay : It's okay. I don't think so Veer will like me.
Bani : Ufff, come on Jay. We are no more small kids to continue our fight. Come and join us.
Jay didn't move. He hesitated more.
Bani : Jay, I invited you here to celebrate his birthday but you are standing alone here. See, your sister and friends are there. Come on. (She held his hand and pulled him along with her)
Veer saw Bani holding Jay's hand and approaching him.
Bani : Veer, look who's here.
Veer : Hi Jay. (He gave a genuine smile and forwarded his hand for a shake hand)
Jay : Hi, Veer bhai. Many more happy returns of the day. (He shook his hand and they shared a friendly hug)
Veer : Thank you, Jay. It has been quite long time, huh? What are you doing now?
Jay : I'm currently pursuing PhD at our college.
Veer : Wow PhD? That's great, yaar. All the best for your future, Jay.
Jay : Thank you, Veer bhai.
Bani : PhD? Really? So after this we have to call you Dr Jay Mathur. Am I right? (She chuckled)
Jay : No such thing. You can always call me Jay.
After that Bani and Jay started talking casually and Veer smiled at them. He didn't feel jealous at all as he was feeling happy that Jay has finally stopped hesitating in front of them. He always wanted Jay to be friendly with them like the others do.
Daksh : Bhai, where is bade papa and bade ma?
Veer : They are at home, Daksh. They don't know about this celebration.
Ponky : Veer bhai, shall we cut the cake first? I'm feeling hungry. It's going to be 1am.
Bani : Ufff Ponky why do you always feel hungry? You can't think anything else than food?
Ponky : Bani.. (He made a pout and sulked)
Bani : Okay just chill. Let's cut the cake first.

Bani brought a cake there and Veer was just amazed with her preparations.
Veer : Sweetheart, when did you plan for all of this?
Bani : Hehe, cut the cake first Veeru.
Veer took the knife and signalled Bani to hold his hand as he wanted to cut the cake with her. Everyone were surprised with their behaviour but they just ignored it and cheered up for Veer.
Ponky : Bhai, feed me first.
Daksh : No, he will feed me first.
Veer : Not you both. I will feed my sweetheart first. (He fed the first piece of cake to Bani and she fed him back)
Ponky and Daksh made faces and others giggled at them. After that Veer fed one by one and they gave him their gifts. Even though he received a lot of gifts from his friends but he was still expecting for Bani's gift.
Veer : Sweetheart, where is my gift?
Bani : I will give you later at home, Veer.
Veer : Pakka?
Bani : Haan, pakka.
Veer : Okay then I'm waiting for it. (He winked at her and she blushed)
Nisha : So Veer? What's next?
Veer : Huh? What you mean?
Nisha : You are 25 now so when are you going to get married?
Bani : Oh hello madam, not only him but we are also 25 now.
Divya : Yeah but in our batch he is the eldest as his birthday comes first.
Veer : Okay fair enough. So you guys want me to get married soon?
Nisha/Divya : Yes. (They said in unison)
Daksh : Huh? What yes?
Divya : We want Veer to get married soon.
Daksh : Why?
Divya : Because he is already 25 now.
Ponky : So what? You are also 25 now.
Nisha : Shut up, Ponky. Kids are not allowed to speak now.
Ponky : I'm not a kid. I'm 23 now. I have the capability to become a father of a kid now.
Daksh, Jay and Veer smacked his head while others giggled at him.
Veer : Shut up, Ponky. First clear your arrear exams at college and graduate soon.
Ponky : Okay, fine. (He rolled his eyes)
Veer : Okay guys. I'm going to announce something to you all now. Kindly give me a little bit of your attention please. (He said loudly to grab everyone's attention)
Bani : Veer, what are you doing?
Veer : Shhh. Surprise.

Everyone gathered near him in curiosity. Bani almost guessed what's he going to say so she tried to stop him but he didn't listen to her.
Daksh : What's that, bhai?
Nisha : Veer, are you going to introduce your girlfriend to us? (She chuckled)
Veer : Well, you are almost right but one small correction. She is not my girlfriend but my fiancée.
Everyone : What???? (They screamed shockingly)
Veer : Yes guys. I'm engaged. (He said, showing his ring finger to everyone)
Ponky : Bhai???? Seriously? You are engaged and you didn't even tell us? Do you still remember that we are your cousins?
Daksh : This is totally unfair, bhai. I'm going to fight with bade papa and bade ma for keeping this as a secret from us.
Veer : Guys guys, just chill yaar. It's not a secret. It happened unexpectedly so that's why we didn't announce it to anyone.
Divya : Bani, you also don't know about his engagement?
Nisha : I'm sure Veer won't keep any secret from her.
Bani glared at Veer and he smirked at her.
Bani : Girls, I don't know anything. You may ask Veer whatever you want to ask. (She surrendered)
Divya : Okay at least tell us now, Veer. Who is that lucky girl?
Veer : Sweetheart, can I say it? (Bani nodded with a smile)
Ponky : Faster, bhai!!! We will die in curiosity
Veer : Just relax, guys. She is here with us.
Everyone : Where??? (They started looking around)
Veer : Here. (He said, pulling Bani closer to him by her waist)

Ponky : Bhai, she is Bani. Your best friend.
Veer : My fiancée too and soon to be Mrs Bani Veeranshu Singhania. (He said, looking into Bani's eyes and she blushed slightly)
Everyone : What????????? (They screamed chorally with big eyes and 'o' shaped mouths)
Divya : Bani? Is that true?
Bani : Yes.
Nisha : How? When?
Bani : 3 weeks ago.
Daksh : What? 3 weeks ago? I mean how did you both get engaged? Did your parents force you both?
Veer : No.
Ponky : Then? Bani, how could you ditch me? I'm your favourite boyfriend right? (He pouted)
Bani : Awww my baby, you will always remain my favourite boyfriend. (She left Veer and hugged Ponky)
Veer : Oye Bani, you are mine. I'm not going to share you with anyone. (He pulled her back to him possessively)
Divya : Veer, is that really you?
Nisha : I doubt the same. How did you change so much?
Jay : Wow congratulations, Veer and Bani. (He wished them genuinely)
Veer/Bani : Thank you, Jay.
Daksh : But how did that happen? Now we want you both to tell us the whole story.
Nisha : Yes!!!
Divya : Yes!!!!
Veer : Okay, fine. We will tell you everything but not today. It's getting late so we meet some other day, guys.
Nisha : Arghh!! Veer, tell us now please. Else I can't sleep tonight with the suspense.
Divya : Yes, me too. Bani, please tell us now.
Bani : Hmm okay. I will tell you. (She explained everything from how their parents forced them to get married until how they proposed each other and got engaged on the same day)

They all were shocked at first then started to tease Vani. They both blushed hardly and their friends teased them more. They stayed there until 5am and finally decided to go back home. Vani stayed there until everyone left. They interlocked their fingers and walked by the beach.
Veer : Sweetheart...
Bani : Haan, Veer?
Veer : I love you. (He stopped walking and turned to face her)
Bani : I love you too baby. (She hugged him)
Veer : Thank you for this surprise celebration, Bani. I'm extremely happy today. I feel like want to shout and exclaim to the world that I'm so happy today. (He said, extending his arms in the air and expressing his happiness)
Bani : Then what are you waiting for? Just shout yaar Veeru.
Veer : Really?
Bani : Yes. Just do it.
Veer : Yayyy!!!!!! I am so happy today, sweetheart!!!!!!!! Whoaa!!!!!!!!! I'm the most happiest person in the world!!! (He screamed loudly, lifted Bani from her waist and started twirling her)
Bani : Yayyyyy!!!! My Veeru is happy today!!!!! (She also screamed and extended her arms in the air while he twirled her)
Bani : Ahh Veer enough let me down. I'm feeling dizzy.
Veer : Okay sweetheart. (He slowly put her down and they shared an eye lock)
Bani : Why are you staring at me like that?
Veer : You are glowing equally to the moonlight, baby.
Bani : Is it? (She raised her eyebrow)
Veer : Yes. (He kissed on her both eyes and cheeks and she felt shiver run down her spine)
Bani : Veer...
Veer : Bani, can I kiss you?
Bani : What were you doing just now?
Veer : I mean here. (He caressed her lips with his thumb)
Bani : I'm all yours, Veer.
She closed her eyes and parted her lips. Veer attached his lips with hers and kissed her softly first. Bani started biting his lower lip and their kiss turned into a wild one. He bit her upper lip and just like that they began dominating each other. Veer let her enter his mouth and she started rolling her tongue to every corner of his mouth. He did the same to her and they finally broke their kiss after they were satisfied with each other. He was smirking at her after their first ever wild kiss and she immediately buried her head at the crook of his neck and hugged him tightly.

Veer : Sweetheart, I have never guessed you to be so wild. I'm sure I will get to experience more of your wildness on our first night.
Bani : Oh God, Veer please shut up! You are becoming shameless nowadays.
Veer giggled at her and hugged her more tightly.
Veer : Baby, this is our third kiss right?
Bani broke the hug and looked at him.
Bani : Third? (She raised her eyebrow)
Veer : Yeah. First one was at Goa and second one was during our proposal time and now third one.
Bani : I pecked you just now in the car, Veer.
Veer : Okay so 4th one.
Bani : You are wrong. It's our fifth kiss, Mr Veeranshu Singhania. (She said, pinching his nose)
Veer : What? Fifth kiss? When was the fifth one?
Bani : Actually it was our first kiss, Veer. Do you remember when we were on final year and our parents left us alone at home? I was drunk and we fell down then our lips got touched. After that you went away somewhere and came back home late at night.
Veer : Bani??? You remember that? I thought you don't remember anything. Why you didn't ask me about it on that day itself?
Bani : Why YOU didn't ask me?
Veer : Hmm I felt it quite awkward to ask and I was not sure if you remember it or not. (He lowered his head)
Bani held his chin and lifted his head up. She gave a kiss on his chin over his beard.
Bani : Don't ever lower your head, Veer. As I said, I'm all yours. You should never feel guilty for anything that is related to me after this. I love you Veer but you will always be my one and only best friend. Just feel free with me and be casual as always.
Veer : Thank you, sweetheart. (He kissed on her forehead and hugged her)

They stayed there in each other's embrace and enjoyed the reflection of sunrise in the water. They went back home at 6:30am and Bani decided to sleep at Veer's room as she was too tired to go back home. She totally forgot about her gift which she hid under the bed.
