Veer and Bani's last class of the day ended at 5:00pm. They were going back home in Veer's car.
Bani : Veer, this is not the route to my house. I guess you are driving to your house.
Veer : Yes, we are going to my house. Your parents asked me to bring you there.
Bani : Really??? Yayyy it means I can complain about you to your mom today. (She chuckled)
Veer : Huh? Really Bani really? Should I complain to your parents about what you were doing with Dheeraj? (He rolled his eyes)
Bani : Opss, hehe no, Veer.. I was just kidding. (She giggled)
Veer : But I swear Bani if you try to misbehave with any guy then I will tell our parents everything start from your first boyfriend until Dheeraj. (He warned in a stern tone)
Bani : Nooooo, I won't do that. You can trust me, Veeru. (She kissed on his cheek)
Veer wiped off the place she kissed.
Veer : Yuck! Don't do that to me, idiot. (He made a disgusting face)
Bani : I will. (She tried to kiss again but he pushed her away)
Veer : I told you to don't misbehave with any guy which means including me.
Bani : Oh really? Then why did you kiss me that day?
Veer : What? When the hell did I kiss you?
Bani : 20 years back. (She giggled and Veer smiled)

Le me : Let's go to their first meet.

Twenty years ago, Veer and Bani were 3 years old that time. There was a family waiting at a restaurant to meet another family. It was none other than the Balwant Singhania, his wife and son. They were waiting to meet Aayush Sharma's family. Balwant and Aayush were best friends since their college days but after that Aayush shifted to London and got married there. He has returned to Mumbai after 8 years and his very first plan was to meet Balwant and his family. They decided to catch up on dinner at a well-known restaurant in Mumbai. It was nearly 7pm when Balwant reached the restaurant with Chandrakala and Veer. Veer was sleeping in Chandrakala's arms while his parents were waiting there. After a while, Aayush came there with his wife and two children.

Balwant : Aayush!! My partner in crime, how are you man? (He hugged him)
Aayush : Balwant! Hey, it has been a long time since we met. I'm doing good. How are you? (He reciprocated the hug)
Chandrakala : I guess I have seen you before. You are Tanvi right?
Tanvi : Hey, you are Chandu right? I mean Chandrakala?
Chandrakala : Yes, you are right. It has been more than 15 years since we met. I can't believe that you are still looking the same.
Tanvi : You are still looking the same too, Chandu. (They hugged each other)
Balwant and Aayush were shocked, looking at their wives.
Balwant : Both of you knew each other earlier?
Chandrakala : Yes, she is my schoolmate, Tanvi.
Aayush : Tanvi, she is the one whom you always used to talk about?
Tanvi : Yes Aayush, she is the one. My one and only best friend since my school days. But we lost in touch after my dad got transferred to London.
Chandrakala : So, you were living in London until now?
Tanvi : Yes, Chandu. In fact, I met Aayush there and we got married.
Balwant : Wow, nice to know that. Two best friends' wives are also best friends.
Everyone giggled.
Tanvi : Is he your son? (She asked, looking at the little boy who was sleeping in Chandu's arms)
Chandrakala : Yes. Are they your children? (She asked, looking at a boy who was running around them and a little girl holding Aayush's hand)
Chandrakala : Yes, he is Tapish and she is Bani.
Balwant : Oh you got 2 children, Aayush. Hello, beti? (He called the baby who was holding Aayush's hand)
Aayush lifted up the girl in his arms and introduced her.
Aayush : She is Bani. Baby, say hi to uncle. (Bani waved her hand and hide her face at her father's chest)
Balwant : Awww, she is so cute. How old is she?
Aayush : She is 3 years old and my elder son Tapish is 7 years old. Tapish, come and greet the uncle and aunt.
Tapish : Hi, uncle and aunty.
Balwant : Hi, baby.
Chandrakala : Hi, beta. Tanvi, your kids are so cute and adorable.
Bani got down from her father and went towards Chandrakala when she saw a sleeping boy in her arms.
Bani : Mumma, who ish thish? (She asked in baby voice pointing at Veer)
Tanvi : He is also a small baby like you.
Bani : Why she chiliping now?
Tanvi : Bani, you should say he, not she. He is sleeping because he is tired.
Chandrakala laughed at Bani's cute voice and pronunciation. Bani went near her and started touching Veer's face.
Chandrakala : Beti, you want to play with him?
Bani nodded in positive while touching Veer's cheek to wake him up. Veer slowly woke up after he felt Bani's touch on him. He opened his eyes and looked at the cute girl in front of him. He smiled at her and Bani smiled back at him.
Bani : Mumma, she ish awake. (She jumped in excitement)
Tanvi : Baby, I told you right. You have to call him as he, not she.
Veer : Mom, who ish dish? (He asked in his cute sleepy voice)
Chandrakala : Veer, you are getting 2 new friends today. That is Tapish and she is Bani.
Veer : Hi, Pani. I'm Veeranshu. (He gave shake hand to Bani)
Bani : Hi, Veezanchu. (They all giggled at Bani's pronunciation)
Veer : No, call me Veeranshu.
Bani : Veezanchu.
Tanvi : Baby, his name is Veeranshu. Say it again. Vee-ran-shu.
Bani : Veezanchu.
Chandrakala : It's okay, Tanvi. It's cute too. (She chuckled)
Veer got down from Tanvi's lap and went towards Bani. What he did next made their parents to open their eyes widely and then burst into laughter after that. He kissed Bani on her lips. Of course it happened unintentionally but only God knows why he did that.
Veer : Come, Pani. We go play there. (He held her hand cutely)
Bani : No no no.. Say Bani not Pani.
Veer : Okay, come. (He tried to drag Bani but Tapish stopped him)
Tapish : Where are you taking my sister?
Veer : Mom, see here.
Chandrakala : He is Bani's brother, beta.
Tanvi : Tapish, you also go and play with them. Make sure to look after them always because you are a big boy already.
Tapish : Okay, mumma.
He held Bani's and Veer's hand and dragged them to the small playground in the restaurant there while the elders were busy talking about their lives and business there.

Bani and Veer at 6 years old :
Their parents have become very close now and they meet each other almost everyday as Balwant and Aayush started their own company and work together while Chandrakala and Tanvi stay together most of the times when their husbands go for any business trip. Veer and Bani has become best friends since they were in same age and same preschool while Tapish was not that close with them as he was older than them and he already started to attend school. Bani and Veer used to fight a lot over their toys but still they can't stay without each other. Most of the times, Aayush and Tanvi had to leave Bani at Balwant's house as she doesn't want to stay without playing with Veer.

Bani and Veer at the age of 17 :
They were in their 12th standard and were studying in the same school and same class. Veer was packing his bag after the class when Bani ran towards him and jumped on the table in excitement.
Bani : Veer!!!!
Veer : What's wrong with you? Why are you jumping like a monkey?
Bani : Guess what?
Veer : What?
Bani : I'm in love, Veer!!!
Veer : What? You are in love? At this age?
Bani : Why are you talking like you are from 1960s? We are already 17 and it's not too early to fall in love. I met the love of my life today.
Veer : Who is that?
Bani : His name is Jay. Do you remember we met him last week at the library? The new student?
Veer : You mean the guy who is in the 11th standard?
Bani : Yes!!!!
Veer : OMG!!! Bani, are you out of your mind? You are in love with a guy who is younger than you? Chii... (He made a disgusting face)
Bani : Veeranshu! Age doesn't matter in love. And we both are in love with each other. I just proposed him and he accepted it. We are in relationship now! (She said in a flow happily)
Veer : Bani Sharma! You are literally in love with a guy who is younger than you. Please get some sense into your stupid brain.

Veer : Do whatever you want. (He rolled his eyes and left with his bag)

One week later, Veer and Bani were playing badminton during their PT hour. Jay approached Bani and asked her to meet him privately. Bani paused the game and went with him to a secluded place in the school.
Bani : Jay, why did you call me here?
Jay : Baby, it has been 1 week since we are in relationship. Can we have our first kiss?
Bani : Now? But I'm sweating, honey. How about tomorrow?
Jay : No, I don't mind. I want to taste your sweat too. (Bani blushed)
Bani : Why are you being so romantic, honey?
Jay : Because you taught me that. Let's kiss now.
Bani : Yes, sure.
They held their hands, closed their eyes and moved closer for a kiss but Veer came there and pulled Bani away from Jay. They opened their eyes and looked at Veer who was staring at both of them.
Veer : Bani, what the hell are you doing here?
Bani : Veer, can't you see what we were doing here?
Veer : Stop it, Bani. Are your nuts getting loose? Just one week ago only you said you guys are into a relationship and now you guys are going to kiss? Isn't it too early?
Jay : Veer bhai, stop disturbing us.
Bani : Jay!! Stop calling him bhai. He is my best friend.
Jay : But he is older than me.
Veer burst out laughing and both of them glared at him.
Bani : Veeranshu!!!
Veer : Bani, look at his innocence. He is calling me bhai and you are calling him your boyfriend?
Jay : Veer bhai, just go away from here and give us some privacy.
Bani : Jay!!! He is laughing because of you. Stop calling him bhai. (Bani yelled and Jay frowned)
Veer : Bani, you are not going to kiss him. Better come with me now.
Bani : Veer, please?
Veer : I said come with me.
Bani : Veer, let me kiss him once. We are loving each other sincerely.
Veer : Bani, you decide now. You want my friendship or his kiss?
Jay : What's going on here? Bani, leave him and come with me.
Bani : Veer? Please?
Veer : Faster choose one, Bani.
Bani : There is nothing to choose. I definitely want your friendship only. I can't lose it for the kiss.
Jay : Bani? Then what about me?
Bani : I'm sorry, Jay. But I can't choose you over him. He is my one and only best friend.
Jay : Okay fine! Goodbye! (He walked away from there angrily)
Veer : Okay, let's go. (He held her hand but Bani jerked his hand away)
Bani : What's wrong with you, Veer? He left me because of you. (She started to cry)
Veer : Hey Bani, please don't cry. I did it for your good only. Trust me. This is not love, babe. It's just infatuation. I don't want you to kiss him now and regret later because I'm 100% sure that you guys won't be together any longer.
Bani : Stop it, Veeranshu! It's not bloody infatuation. I love him sincerely and he does the same! (She screamed at him)
Veer : Shhh.. don't scream, Bani. Listen to me carefully. (He cupped her face and wiped her tears) We will complete our schooling by next month and after that you won't be able to meet him. This is not love, Bani. Do you remember your brother Tapish was also in love with a girl during his school days but after that what happened? They broke up once they stopped meeting each other.
Bani : No, we would still continue meeting each other even after I complete my schooling.
Veer : Okay, let's see that first. Now chalo we have to go back to the class.

Two days later, Bani came to Veer's house with swollen eyes which indicated that she was crying. His mother tried to ask her why she was crying but she refused to tell her and went to Veer's room. He was doing revision there when she entered his room. She immediately hugged him and started sobbing.
Veer : Hey Bani, why are you crying? What happened to you?
Bani : Veer...that...that Jay broke up...with me. (She said while sobbing)
Veer : Why he broke up with you? What happened? (He broke the hug and cupped her face)
Bani : He is a cheat. Just because I didn't kiss him, he broke up with me and coupled with another girl.
Veer : See, I told you right? He is not sincere to you. It's okay leave him, Bani. Don't cry for him. I can't see my best friend crying over for a cheater.
Bani : No, I didn't cry for him. I'm crying because when you said it was not love, I didn't believe you but now I understand it was not love. Neither I love him nor he did. It was all fake feelings.
Veer : That's my baby girl. I'm glad you finally understood the fact. Okay, stop crying now. (He wiped her tears off and kissed her forehead)

Bani and Veer at the age of 20.
One day, they both completed their bachelor's degree in Business Administration and were waiting for their results nervously. All of them were at Singhania mansion whereas Bani and Veer were waiting in front of the laptop nervously while their parents were encouraging them to don't get nervous as they believe in their children. Tapish was teasing both of them to increase their fear. The clock struck 2 in the noon and their heartbeat was racing. Veer and Bani held their hands tightly and started praying to God while Tapish started scrolling down the laptop screen with the mouse to find their roll number. First he found Bani's roll number.
Tapish : Bani, you..... (Bani stopped him)
Bani : Bhai, please don't tell separately. Check Veer's one first then tell our results together. (Tapish nodded and continued checking)
Veer : Relax, Bani. I'm sure we will pass with flying colours.
Balwant : Children, please relax. This is just exam results. They are not going to decide your future.
Tapish : Well, I have found Veer's roll number too. (He said sadly)
Veer : Bhai? What happened? Did I fail?
Bani : Shut up, Veer. Don't speak negatively.
Tapish : Guys!!!!!! Both of you passed your degree!!!!!! (He jumped from his seat and screamed at them)
Veer and Bani : Yaaaayyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!! (They hugged each other and started jumping together)
Their parents congratulated them and arranged for a party that evening to celebrate their children's achievement.

Present :
Veer and Bani reached the Singhania mansion to meet their parents. Bani greeted Balwant and Chandrakala while Veer greeted Aayush and Tanvi.
Aayush : Arre beta, you have come back.
Bani : Papa, why are you both staying here?
Tanvi : Bani, we are going to attend our family friend's daughter's wedding at Chhattisgarh tomorrow so we have to leave early in the morning. You have to stay here with Veer until we come back. We will be back on Friday.
Veer : What?? Aunty, I can stay alone. Why with this ghost? (Bani hit his head)
Balwant : Veer! (He glared at him)
Bani : Uncle, your son doesn't seemed to prefer my company here so I will go back home and stay there alone. (She said sadly with a pout)
Veer : Drama queen. (He muttered under his breath)
Chandrakala : Veer and Bani, stop fighting like kids and make sure stay safe at home. Veer, it's your responsibility to take care of Bani.
Bani : Aunty, I can take care of myself. I don't need his help to look after me. (She rolled her eyes)
Aayush : Bani, don't torture him too much. Make sure you both take care of each other and stay together without fighting like Tom & Jerry. (The elders giggled)
Bani : Okay, fine. How about my clothes and things?
Tanvi : I have brought some of your personal stuffs and your clothes are already here so you can wear them.
Bani : Mumma, those are my old clothes. I can't wear them to college.
Veer : What you want now? Your clothes right? Let's go to your house and pick your clothes and necessary things to stay here for 3 days.
Bani : Alright then.
Veer : Let's go.

At Sharma's house :
Veer : Bani, faster go and pack your things. (He said while settling down on the sofa)
Bani : No, you also come with me. I need your help.
Veer : Ufff, you are going to take clothes for 3 days only not for 3 years. Go and pack yourself.
Bani : Veer, chalo na!! (She dragged him with her)
They reached Bani's room and she started picking her clothes while he started taking her personal stuffs which was left by her mom.
Bani : Veer, take my yellow, green, blue and pink earrings from the box there.
Veer : You got only 2 ears right? Why you need so many earrings?
Bani : Stupid! I will change the earrings according to the dress colour.
Veer : Ufff, complicated girls.
Bani : Shut up.
Veer : Yellow, green, blue and pink right? Anything else?
Bani : No. That's all.
She was done with packing her clothes while he was done with packing her accessories. Bani was arranging the things into her luggage.
Veer : Sweetheart, I think you have packed too much. Just pack for only 3 days. I can't tolerate you at my house more than that. (Bani rolled her eyes and started arranging her things)
Bani : Okay, done. Let's go.
Veer : Wait a second. (He walked towards her cupboard)
Bani : What now?
Veer : How about this? (He asked, showing her sanitary napkins)
Bani : I don't think so I need them.
Veer : Idiot, check the date first. I'm pretty sure your dates are near.
Bani : Oh Shit!!! Yes! Thank you so much for reminding me, Veer. (She snatched them and put in her luggage)
Veer : Okay, let's go.

In the car :
Veer : Bani? (While driving)
Bani : Hmm? (She was busy using her phone)
Veer : Promise me something.
Bani : What?
Veer : Once you are on your periods, please don't show your mood swings at me.
Bani : I can't promise you that.
Veer : Oh God! I will be dead for the next 3 days.
Bani : Did I show my mood swings to you last month?
Veer : Of course you did! Don't you remember you broke my phone in frustration?
Bani : Oh yeah. (She giggled)
Veer : But you are such a smart ass. You were holding your phone that time but you snatched my phone and broke it.
Bani : After that I got you a new phone right?
Veer : But please don't do it again. Because of you I missed a lot of things in my previous phone.
Bani : I will see first.
Veer : I swear if you show your mood swings to me then I will kick you out of the house.
Bani : Oh really? Should I tell that to Ballu uncle and Chandu aunty? Then they both will kick you out of your own house. (She chuckled making Veer roll his eyes)
Veer's mind voice : God, please save me from this Devil for the next three days. I just wonder how am I going to survive with her alone there for three whole days.
Bani : I know you are secretly sending your prayers to God to save you from me right? Don't worry, Veeru. I will make sure you see the hell for the next three days. (She smirked evilly)
Veer : I said stop calling me that!
Bani : What? Veeru? It's cute.
Veer : It's not cute. I hate that name.
Bani : But you also called me sweetheart just now. You knew I hate it too.
Veer : Why? It reminds you about one of your ex boyfriends is it? (He chuckled)
Bani : Stop it, Veer. Okay fine. I won't call you Veeru and you don't call me sweetheart.
Veer : Fair enough.
