Continuation from previous chapter :
After Behir left Veer's room, he sat on the floor and started recalling Bani's words while tears formed his eyes again.
Veer : I'm sorry sweetheart. I didn't mean to say all that things. It was my ego which stopped me from confessing the truth. I failed to realise my own feelings, Bani. I'm extremely sorry for all those cheap words I used on you. I really didn't mean it, sweetheart. (He thought while caressing the ring in his hand)

Next morning, the sun rays passed through the window and gleamed on Veer's face. He woke up with a jerk when he felt a sudden pain on his both arms which made him realise that he was sitting on the floor while resting his head against his arms on the bed. He got up from the floor and sat on the bed. The very first thought came into his mind was about Bani. He quickly rushed into the washroom to freshen up and meet Bani to apologise her. After some time, he got ready and stood in front of the dressing table combing his hair. That was the moment when Behir rushed into his room being tensed and worried about something.

Veer : Are you both alright? What happened? (He asked suspiciously)
Bela : Veer, Bani is missing!
Veer : What???? She is not in her room? (His eyes widened)
Mahir : No. Her things are not there too. She left with her belongings.
Veer : I will call her now. (He took out his phone but Bela stopped him)
Bela : She has switched off her mobile, Veer. We have been trying to reach her since just now.
Veer looked at her in shock.
Veer : She won't do anything like that. Wait, let me go and check.
Veer rushed to Bani's room and checked there. As Mahir said, she had taken her belongings with her. The room was as clean as how it was before their arrival.
Veer : Shit!! Where did she go?
He took out his phone and dialled her number but it was switched off.
Bela : Mahir, please go and try to find for her. I will ask the neighbours here if they had seen her going out last night. 
Mahir : Okay. (He quickly rushed to take his car keys)
Veer : Mahir, I will come with you. (He ran behind Mahir)
They got into the car and they were about to start when Veer's phone rang. He instantly took out his phone expecting it to be Bani's call but unfortunately it was from Tapish. Veer cut the call but again Tapish called him so he answered it.
Veer : Hello bhai, I will call you later. I'm busy now. (He said hurriedly)
Tapish : Hey Veer wait don't cut the call!
Veer : What happened bhai? Anything important?
Tapish : Yes, listen to me. Immediately take the next flight to Mumbai and come here.
Veer : Bhai please. I will talk to you later.
Tapish : Bani is here, Veer!!
Veer : What???? (He screamed and Mahir hit the sudden brake in shock)
Mahir : What happened? (He signalled)
Veer : Bhai, what did you say? Bani is there? When did she reach there?
Tapish : She came here last night, Veer. The matter is quite serious and I can't explain you on the call now. Faster take the next flight and reach here.
Veer : Bhai, she is safe right?
Tapish : Yes, Veer. Don't worry. Come fast. Bye. (He cut the call)
Mahir : What happened, Veer? Where is Bani?

Veer explained Mahir about their conversation and immediately booked ticket for the next flight to Mumbai. He took 2pm flight and reached Mumbai at 3:30pm. He came out from the airport and took a cab to Singhania mansion as he didn't inform anyone at home about his arrival.

At Singhania mansion :
He entered inside the hall to see his parents and Bani's parents were talking there. Tanvi was the first to see Veer there.
Tanvi : Arre, see there. Veer has also arrived.
Chandrakala : Veer? (She went near and hugged him)
Veer : Mom. (He reciprocated the hug)
Chandrakala : You said you will return within 3 or 4 days but it took 9 days for you, huh? (She broke the hug and hit on his chest lightly)
Balwant : Veer, my boy! How are you? (He asked, showing his fist)
Veer : I'm fine, dad. (He bumped his fist)
Chandrakala : Come and sit first, beta.
Veer sat on the sofa and greeted Aayush and Tanvi. He searched for Bani and Tapish there but both of them were not there. He realised that their parents were seemed to be a little dull and bothered about something.
Aayush : Veer beta, why are you late? Bani arrived last night itself.
Tanvi : Don't say last night. She arrived at 3am. (She said being slightly annoyed)
Veer just smiled awkwardly as he understood that Bani haven't tell them anything about their misunderstanding.
Chandrakala : Veer, we thought Bani will be the daughter in law of this house but both of you planned for something else. We are disappointed with you both. (She sulked)
Veer looked at her confusedly as he doesn't understand what she was talking about.
Aayush : Haan beta. We wanted you both to marry each other but you guys took different decision.
Veer : Uncle, I don't understand what you are saying.
Balwant : Don't act like you don't know, Veer. I'm sure Bani must have told you first before us.
Veer : Ufff, someone please tell me directly what you all are talking about. (He asked exasperatedly)
Suddenly they heard a voice from behind. Veer turned and looked at the person.
Veer : Tapish bhai?
Tapish : Veer, come with me. I will tell you.
Veer : But.... (Tapish dragged him from there to Veer's room)

At Veer's room :
Veer : What are they saying? I don't get it. Where is Bani?
Tapish : Look, Veer. Even though I'm Bani's brother but I treat you as my little brother too and our bond is much closer than mine and Bani's bond so better tell me the truth now.
Veer : What happened, bhai?
Tapish : What happened between you and Bani? Why did you guys went to Goa instead of Bangalore? Or you both just lied to us about going to Bangalore? (He raised his eyebrow)
Veer lowered his head and answered him.
Veer : Actually we lied to you all, bhai. (He explained the whole story to Tapish)
Tapish : So now Bani is loving you?
Veer nodded in positive.
Veer : But I just ruined everything, bhai. She left from there without informing me.
Tapish : If she is loving you then why did she agree for the marriage? (Veer's eyes popped out of his socket)
Veer : What? She agreed for the marriage? With whom?
Tapish : Last week dad received a call from the Chopra Industries owner. He said that his son likes Bani and they would like to visit us for further discussion. Dad told him that he needs time to think about it and just now morning when dad told this, she immediately agreed and said she would like to meet them too.
Veer : What the hell? How could she agree just like that, bhai? She said she loves me then within one day she changed her decision? What's wrong with your sister?
Tapish : I just don't know what to say, Veer. She arrived at 3am last night suddenly and we tried to talk to her but she said she was feeling tired so she would speak to us in the morning. Then just now morning when dad was casually telling about Chopra's alliance to me and mom, Bani came there and said she is ready to meet them. We all tried to talk to her but she didn't open up anything that's why I called you and asked you to come here immediately.
Veer : But our parents didn't ask her anything about me?
Tapish : They did but Bani said you would be staying there for few more days with your friends so she came here first. Actually our parents were disappointed with Bani's decision so they didn't ask her much about you.
Veer : Bhai, she is mad or what? I need to talk to her right now.
Tapish : Wait, Veer. Listen to this also. The Chopras are coming to visit us later at Sharma mansion so better talk to Bani and sort it out before it's too late.
Veer : Okay, bhai. Thanks for informing. Where is Bani?
Tapish : She is at home with Meera.
Veer : I'm going to meet her. Bye. (He quickly took his car keys and ran downstairs)

At the hall :
All of them saw Veer running down the stairs hurriedly.
Balwant : Veer, where are you going?
Veer : Dad, I'm going to meet Bani now. I will talk to you later, bye. (He immediately left the house)
Aayush : What happened to him? (He saw Tapish coming down the stairs)
Aayush : Tapish, why Veer is running like that? Anything urgent?
Tapish : No dad nothing. He just wants to meet Bani as he haven't inform her about his arrival. (He said with an assuring smile)
Tanvi : Oh okay. I guess we also should leave now because the Chopras are coming to visit us later so we need to make arrangements at home. (She told to Aayush and Tapish)
Aayush : Yes, you are right. We shall leave now. Balwant and Chandrakala, please be there on time later.
Balwant : Sure, Aayush. You don't have to say that. We will be there on time.
The Sharmas left Singhania mansion.

At Sharma mansion :
Veer barged into Bani's room to see her crying on Meera's lap. Meera was trying to console her. Both of them were not aware of Veer's presence there as their back was facing him. He decided to go near but stopped when he heard Bani was saying something to Meera.
Bani : Bhabhi, how could he say that I don't know how to love someone sincerely? I'm not immature and playful. I just behave like that because I always feel comfortable with him but how could he say that I'm an immature person?
Meera : Shhh, Bani just calm down. Stop crying. I will talk to Veer later. You just relax please. You have been crying since your parents left. Why you didn't tell them about all this earlier?
Bani : I don't want to tell anything to them, bhabhi. They might misunderstand Veer. I don't want anyone to misunderstand him. It was my fault to fall in love with him but I don't want to break our both families' bond with this.
Meera : Bani, you are being too matured for your age but I just wonder how he could say that you are being immature. Maybe you heard him wrongly.
Bani : Stop it, bhabhi! (She quickly got up from her lap) I heard him very clearly and I have no doubts in that. He said that I don't know what is the definition of love and sincere and I'm just getting attracted towards him just because I was watching Mahir and Bela there. How could he say this, bhabhi? How can he..... (She stopped when she realised Veer was standing behind them)
Meera also turned to see at the direction where Bani was looking at. Bani's facial expression changed as she quickly wiped away her tears and started glaring at him angrily.
Meera : Welcome home, sir. I was waiting for you eagerly. (She said sarcastically while walking to him)
Veer : Bhabhi?
Meera : Chup! Don't utter a word. How dare you hurt the princess of this home? (She asked, pulling his ear)
Veer : Ahhh bhabhi, I didn't mean it. Let me talk to her please.
Bani : Bhabhi, I'm not going to talk to anybody here. Ask them to don't waste their time here. (She said angrily)
Veer : Bhabhi, please I want to talk to her. (He begged, showing his puppy face)
Meera : Okay, fine. Sort it out together first. (She left his ear and went out of the room)

Bani immediately got up from the bed and walked till the door but Veer shut the door behind him before she could pass by him.
Bani : Open the door! (She commanded in stern voice)
Veer : Sweetheart, please listen to me.
Bani : I'm not going to listen to anything, Veeranshu. I have listened a lot yesterday. Thank you so much for everything,
Veer : Please sweetheart, let me explain you first.
Bani : Stop calling me sweetheart. I really hate that word, Veeranshu!!!
Veer : Okay, just calm down. I want to ask you something.
Bani : I said I don't want to talk to you. Just leave now!
Veer : Baby, please let me speak first. (He tried to cup her face but she moved back)
Bani : I said stop calling me with those words! I don't want to listen to anything. Just get lost from here!!! (She screamed)
Now Veer lost his patience.
Veer : Enough, Bani! I said let me speak first. Why are you keep shouting here?!! (He scowled at her)
Bani was taken aback with the tone of his voice. He has never raised his voice to her recently but today he did that too. Tears started rolling down her cheeks again.
Veer : Look, just answer me this question first. I heard that you have agreed to meet someone today. So you have decided to marry someone else?
Bani : That's none of your business. (She turned her face away)
Veer : Tell me, Bani. You have decided to marry someone else? How could you do that? Just yesterday only you said you love me but today you are ready to meet someone else?
Bani : Oh! So now you are trying to prove that whatever you said is correct na? Yesterday I loved you and today I'm going to meet someone else and tomorrow I will sleep with another pers..... (A slap landed on her left cheek before she could complete her sentence)
Veer : How dare you, Bani Sharma!!! How could you talk like this? Have you lost it or what? (He asked, grabbing her arms)
Bani : Yes, I have lost it!!!! (She screamed) Are you happy now? Just get lost from here. Why the hell you care about my decision now? You have no feelings for me so please don't interfere in my personal life.
Veer released the hold on her arms and took a deep breath before he continue.
Veer : Bani, just calm down okay. Stop screaming now. I'm sorry for what I have said there. I swear I really didn't mean it. It's just that I wasn't able to understand my own feelings that's why I was trying to fool myself there.
Bani : I don't need any explanation, Veer. Just leave from here. (She said exhaustedly)
Veer : Fine, I will leave. Before that answer me first. Are you going to meet that Chopra's son later? Are you ready for the marriage? Sweetheart, you don't even know who are they. How can you just say yes to a stranger?
Bani : I haven't say yes until now but don't make me to say that after this. Just get lost from here!!
Veer : But you said you love me, Bani. (He tried to remind her)
Bani : And I also said I hate you, Veeranshu. It's still the same. Nothing has changed. I hate you even now! (She snapped back)
Veer : Bani, why are you creating a drama now? Try to be sensible sometimes, sweetheart. You are 24 now but still behaving like a 14 years old teenage girl. This is why I said you are being too playful. You are angry with me and I agree with that but why are you trying to drag another person to satisfy your ego? Please don't do this yaar.
Bani : Thank you for your advice. Get out of my room right now. (She said rudely)
Veer : I'm sure you will regret about this. Go and marry whoever you want. Goodbye!! (He opened the door and left by shutting it behind him with a thud)
Bani kicked the door and shouted "I hate you" in frustration.

Veer came out of the room to see Meera looking at him with a big question mark in her expression. He raised his eyebrow to ask what and she gestured him back asking what happened.
Veer : Such a drama queen she is. Overreacting all the time. I'm sure this will put her in trouble soon. How could she just say yes to meet a stranger? Can't she be sensible at least for once in her lifetime?
Meera : Ufff Veer, come here I will tell you a secret. (She whispered something at his ear)
Veer : What?? Really? Bhabhi, you are not lying right?
Meera : No, Veer. (She chuckled)
Veer : Ohho, so now wait and watch my game, Bani. (He smirked evilly)
Meera : But please don't use my name anywhere after you get caught, okay?
Veer : I promise, bhabhi. You can trust me.
Meera : Okay good. Go and execute your plan now.
Veer : Hehe thank you so much, bhabhi. (He kissed on her cheek and ran away happily)
Meera chuckled at his childishness and went to the kitchen.
