Continuation from previous part :
Bani and Veer in their respective rooms. Bani was sitting on the floor, leaning against the door and recalling what they did in the rain. She was blushing hard remembering their moments but at the same time she was feeling guilty as Veer didn't come and talk to her after that. On the other hand, Veer was also feeling the same. He was regretting for crossing his limits as Bani quickly ran to the room without saying anything to him. They both decided to talk to each other at the same time so they both opened the door simultaneously and quickly shut it when they heard the other person opening the door.

Veer's PoV : Shit!!! I saw Bani opened the door but she shut it immediately. But why? Maybe she saw me? Is she still angry with me? Oh God, Veer!!! You just ruined everything!

Bani's PoV : I guess Veer opened the door but why did he shut it? He doesn't want to see my face? Is he angry with me for crossing my limits just now? Arghhh!!!! Bani, you just ruined everything!

Both of them kept blaming themselves and finally decided to go to bed. Behir called both of them to have their dinner but they refused it with different reasons and went to sleep. Behir felt it weird but they decided to not interfere in their problem.

At Veer's room :
In the middle of night, Veer wasn't able to sleep as he knew Bani couldn't sleep alone and he was not sure if Bela is with her or not. He could hear the heavy thunderstorms and his worries kept increasing as he knew his sweetheart was afraid of the thunderstorms. He finally decided to go to her room and check on her after convincing his brain and heart. He stood in front of the door and knocked it while calling her name.

At Bani's room :
Bani was getting scared because of the heavy thunderstorms. She laid on the bed hugging her knees and hid herself inside the blanket. She heard the door knocking sound and slowly peeped out from the blanket. She heard Veer calling her name and she quickly ran to the door and opened it.
Veer : Bani? (He uttered worriedly)
Bani : Veer!! (She immediately hugged him tightly)
Veer : Shhh, calm down sweetheart. (He said, caressing her back)
Bani : Veer, why are you so late? You know right I can't sleep alone. And the thunderstorms are scaring me.
Veer : I'm sorry sweetheart. I know you can't sleep alone that's why I came here.
Bani : Please don't leave me alone, Veer. (She hugged him more tightly)
Veer : I won't. Come let's go to my room. (He tried to break the hug but Bani didn't let him)
Bani : No please don't leave me. (She tightened the grip around him)
Veer : Okay let's go like this. (He slowly brought her to his room)

At Veer's room :
Veer asked her to sit on the bed and gave her water to drink. She drank it at one go as she needed it badly. After few minutes she relaxed herself and was not afraid anymore as she was beside her Veer.
Veer : Feeling better now?
Bani : Hmm.
Veer : Okay. Chalo, let's sleep. (She laid on the bed and he covered the duvet on her)
Bani : Veer, please don't go anywhere. Stay here. (She held his hand)
Veer : No, I'm not going anywhere. Let me switch off the lights first.
Bani : Okay.
He went to switch off the lights and laid beside her. Bani quickly snuggled into his embrace and held him closer to her. He first hesitated then slowly placed his hand on her hair and started caressing it gently as she drifted off to sleep within few minutes.

Next morning, Bani woke up at 10 and searched for Veer beside her. He was not there so she looked at the time and realised that maybe he had woke up earlier. She went to take shower in her room and got ready then she went to the living room to see Bela was watching tv there.
Bani : Hi Bela.
Bela : Hey hi, Bani. Good morning.
Bani : Good morning. You are alone? Where is Veer and Mahir?
Bela : As usual they left to the office. It's going to be 11am yaar.
Bani : Oh okay.
Bani's mind voice : Why Veer didn't inform me before leaving?
Bela : Come, let's have our breakfast first. I have been waiting for you.
Bani : Awww I'm so sorry, Bels. Chalo.
They had their breakfast and spent the rest of the day by chitchatting and doing the house chores.

By evening at 5, Mahir and Veer came back home from office. They could see only Bela there and Veer was curiously searching for Bani as his eyes were roaming all around the house. Bela noticed that.
Bela : Bani is not here.
Veer : Huh?
Bela : I said Bani is not here.
Veer : I see. Umm where is she?
Bela : She went out, Veer. She will be back soon.
Mahir : Went out? With whom? Again with Harsh? (He smirked while looking at Veer's expression)
Bela opened her mouth to say something but Mahir stopped her and signalled her to play along to see Veer's reaction. She nodded and they giggled silently.
Bela : Well, you got it right. She went out with Harsh.
Veer clenched his fist which was noticed by Behir.
Mahir : Ufff, dating na?
Bela : Some sort of.
Mahir : I'm sure he will end up being her boyfriend before she leaves Goa.
Bela : Maybe. (She snickered)
Veer : Guys, I'm going to freshen up first. (He quickly walked away angrily)
Bela : Ufff, did you see that? He got jealous, Mahir. (She said, being surprised)
Mahir : I know right. He has fallen for Bani and Bani has fallen for him but both the idiots are not realising it.
Bela : That's true. I could see it in their eyes. They are already in love with each other but aren't aware of it.
Mahir : So now tell me. Where is Bani?
Bela : She went out for shopping. She wanted to buy some things.
Mahir : But we told him that she has gone for dating. I'm sure he will burst out later. Come, let's go and tell him the truth.
Bela : Yes, we should do that before she returns.

At Veer's room :
Behir went to his room and the door was already open. They could see Veer was sitting on the bed while murmuring something angrily under his breath.
Mahir : Veer, may I come in?
Bela : Me too.
Veer quickly composed himself when he heard them.
Veer : Hey come on, guys. This is your house and you don't have to ask my permission.
Bela : But now you are staying in this room so it belongs to you too.
Veer just smiled at her.
Mahir : Veer, actually we just lied to you. Bani has gone for shopping only. ALONE. (He emphasised the word 'alone')
Veer breathed a sigh of relief and his facial expression changed as a soft smile appeared on his lips.
Veer : Oh okay. But why did you both lie just now that she went for a date with Harsh? (He raised his eyebrow)
Bela : Just to see your reaction. (She chuckled)
Veer : What's with my reaction? It's her life and her wish. I wouldn't mind it even if it had been true.
Mahir : Don't lie. We saw your reaction just now. You don't like Harsh right?
Veer : No such thing. I have just met him twice.
Bela : So you won't mind if Bani date him?
Veer : Why would I mind, Bela? What's wrong with you both?
Bela : Stop lying, yaar. I know you will not accept it if Bani starts to date him. You are hating Harsh because he is Bani's friend.
Veer : No, you are wrong. (He tried to maintain his lie)
Bela : Then what about last night? (Veer's eyes popped out when he heard her)
Veer : Wha...what last night? No...nothing. (He started getting nervous)
Mahir : Veer, stop acting bro. We saw what you guys did last night. Guess you didn't forget that we were there too. Both of you were lost in each other.

Veer remained silent as he had no idea what to answer them. Mahir continued.
Mahir : Veer, I know you have started falling for her. We could see that clearly in your actions.
Veer : No, it's not true. How can I fall in love with my best friend? You guys have misunderstood it.
Bela : Stop lying, Veer. You are hiding your feelings and fooling yourself. Please realise it before it's too late.
Veer : Guys, please stop talking like this. She is my best friend and that's it!
Bela : No, Veer! She is not only your best friend. You love her and that's true. (She snapped back)
Veer :  Bela, please stop it. I don't love her. She is my best friend and nothing more than that. Yes, I do love her but it's platonic and I have the responsibilities to look after her since she went against our parents for me.
Mahir : But she loves you, Veer. It's not platonic. She is loving you sincerely.
Veer : Sincerely? Mahir, she doesn't even know what is the meaning of sincere. (He said frustratedly)
Bela : What do you mean?
Veer : She can't love anyone sincerely. I have been with her since 21 years and I knew her very well than you guys do. She doesn't love me. Okay, I agree about what you guys saw last night but it just happened due to our hormonal rush. That's it. Neither I love her nor she loves me.
Bela : Stop it, Veer! It's not hormonal rush. Are you mad? How could you talk like this? A girl will never do such things when she is not in love with that person. I'm 100 percent sure that Bani has started falling for you. She loves you, Veer!!! (She shouted)
Mahir : Bela, just calm down. Let me talk to him.
Veer : Guys, please stop it. I know about her and she knows about me. We are not in love.

Mahir : Okay, just answer me only this question.
Veer : What?
Mahir : Can't you see the love in her eyes and in her behaviour recently? Isn't she behaving differently when she is around you?
Veer : No, I don't see any such thing. She is just being immature and playful. She don't even know what is the definition of love. She had many boyfriends and every time she fell for a new guy, she thinks that is love but after few days she will realise the truth. I guess now it's still the same. I don't think she loves me. She isn't loving me. Maybe she is getting attracted towards me after watching you both but she will forget it once she goes back to her family.
Mahir : Enough, Veer! You are talking too much. Just touch your heart and say that whatever you just said is true. I'm sure you can't do it because you knew it's not true. The truth is Bani is loving you and you are loving her. (He argued strongly)
Veer : Just stop it!!! I don't love her and I will never ever fall for her. She is my best friend and nothing...... (He stopped when he saw Bani standing at the door)
Bela and Mahir both turned towards the direction Veer was looking at. Bani was standing there with tears in her eyes.

Veer : Bani?
She blinked and tears rolled down her cheeks. He took a step forward but she showed her palm to stop him.
Bani : Thank you, Veeranshu. For me giving me the privilege to know what you have been thinking about me all these years.
Veer : Bani, you misunderstood.... (Bani interrupted)
Bani : No! Now only I understand everything clearly. You are right! I'm immature, playful, had many boyfriends, I don't even know the definition of love and sincere. You are absolutely right. You knew me well na. You can understand everything even if I don't express it.
Veer : Bani, I didn't mean that. I mean you.... (She again interrupted)
Bani : Yes, you meant it.
She took steps forward and stood in front of him by staring straight into his eyes. Anger was visible in her eyes which he has not seen for the past 21 years.
Bani : Since you understood me very well, let me clarify few things with you.
Mahir : Bela, let's go out.
Bani : No need, Mahir. Just stay here. I'm not going to talk anything personal here. Oh yeah we don't have anything personal right, Veeranshu? (She asked sarcastically)
Bela : Bani, please calm down.
Bani : Let me speak first. (She said in a strict tone)
Veer : Bani?
Bani : Veeranshu, you have said a lot today so let me speak now. And yeah what did you say? I don't love you and I'm just getting attracted towards you as I'm watching them. Am I right?
Veer : I didn't mean.... (Bani yelled fiercely)
Bani : I said let me speak now!!!.... (she took a deep breath and continued) It's not just attraction, Veeranshu. You are not someone I met few days ago just to get attracted towards you. You were my everything. And what else you said? You don't love me? Then what about the fake marriage at the club, Veeranshu?

Veer got the shock of his life when he learned that Bani remembers the club incident. He was looking at her with wide eyes. Bela and Mahir were looking at them confusedly.
Bani : I remember every single detail of whatever happened at the club between us. (She said with a sad smile)
Veer : Bani, I'm sorry. (He lowered his eyes in guilt)
Bani : Please don't say sorry for what happened that day, Veeranshu. I know you regret it but I don't. It was the most precious moment of my life. And yeah about yesterday. I think we should talk about it now. I agree I lost my sense last night but whatever happened between us happened because we felt it at that moment not because of any bloody hormonal rush. (Veer raised his eyes and looked at her with shock)
Bela and Mahir were looking at them silently.
Bani : I have fallen for you. I was waiting for you to confess it first but now I got it that I misunderstood you. You will never ever fall for me. Especially with a playgirl like me who keeps changing her boyfriends.
Veer : Bani, please don't... (She gestured him to stop)
Bani : Stop it! Don't show your fake concern now, Veeranshu!! (She yelled with tears flowing down her eyes)
She went near him and looked deep into his eyes. Veer was staring at her blankly.
Bani : I thought this is love. I could see something in your eyes since few days and I thought it's love. But no right, Veer? You don't love me right?. (She sobbed)
Veer : Bani, please... listen to me. (His voice broke as he felt pain seeing her with tears)

The next moment, she attached her lips with his lips which was unexpected by all of them. Veer's eyes popped out as he couldn't realise what she was doing. Behir were looking at them with hand covered their mouth. She immediately left his lips within few seconds and looked into his eyes with tears flowing from her eyes.
Bani : I wanted to propose you today. I wanted to kiss you today and express my love to you in this way but you just ruined everything, Veeranshu. I wanted to kiss you and say I love you but now listen to me carefully. I kissed you because I want you to remember this moment always. And I hate you, Veeranshu!! I HATE YOU!!! I have said it many times but today I really mean it. I hate you!!!! (She shouted aggressively)
Mahir : Bani, please calm down first.
She turned to walk away but she remembered something and turned back to Veer. She took out Veer's ring from her finger.
Bani : I guess I don't need this anymore. (She took his hand and placed the ring on his palm)
Bela : Bani???
Bani : I'm sorry. (She covered her mouth to control her sobs and ran to her room)
Mahir : Veer? (He placed his hand on Veer's shoulder)
Veer immediately broke down and fell on his knees. He started crying holding the ring closer to his heart.
Bela : Veer, please relax. We will talk to her.
Veer : I just ruined everything. I... I didn't know that.... she loves me. (He said in between his sobs)
Mahir : It's okay just relax. She just vent out her frustration here. She will be back to normal soon. Please don't cry bro. (He kneeled down and hugged Veer)
Veer : I want to stay alone for some time.
Mahir : But.... (Bela stopped him)
Bela : Okay, Veer. Take your time. Mahir, let's go. (She signalled him and they went out closing the door)

Mahir : No. Her things are not there too. She left with her belongings.
Veer : I will call her now. (He took out his phone but Bela stopped him)
Bela : She has switched off her mobile, Veer. We have been trying to reach her since just now.
Veer looked at her in shock.
