Bani : Veeru, I'm feeling sleepy. (She said, rubbing her eyes)
Veer : No sweetheart, let's talk for some time. This is nice. (He said, wrapping his hands around her waist and pulling her closer to him)
Bani : Hehe okay. (She giggled and nuzzled into his neck)
Veer : Baby?
Bani : Hmm?
Veer : Nothing. (He giggled)
Bani : Veeru? (She pulled back to look at him)
Veer : Hmm?
Bani : Nothing. (She giggled)
Veer : Copy cat. You copy me.
Bani : Ohhh you copy rat.
Veer : Hehe copy rat? (He laughed)
Bani : Veezanchu? (She held his collar and pulled him closer to her)
Veer : What?
Bani : You look sexy in this shirt.
Veer : You also look sexy in this dress babe. (He said, tracing his fingers on her thighs as she wrapped her legs around his waist)
Bani : Don't touch me there, Veeru. (She slapped on his hand)
Veer : Why?
Bani : I'm feeling shy.

Bani nodded and hid her face in her palms.
Veer : Sweetheart, look at me. (He pulled her hands away from her face)
Bani : Yes baby?
Veer : Aww baby? You called me baby?
Bani : Hehe yes. You like it?
Veer : Yes a lot. (He beamed happily)
Bani : So give me a gift.
Veer : What gift?
She blushed cutely and pointed at her lips. Veer raised his eyebrow.
Veer : Huh? What is there?
Bani : Arre buddhu, put your lips here. (She said, pointing at her lips)
Veer : Ohhh you want a kiss from me?
Bani nodded shyly.
Veer : But this is wrong. I cannot kiss my best friend. (He said sadly)
Bani : Arre baby see here we are married now. (She showed their ring fingers to him)
Veer : Oh yes I forgot. So it's not wrong I can kiss you now.
Bani : Yayyy!! Veeru is going to kiss me. (She clapped her hands happily and loudly)
Veer : Shhh don't shout. It's our personal. (He said, placing his finger on her lips)
Bani : Oh okay shhhh. (She did the same on his lips and both of them giggled)
Veer : Sweetheart, may I? (He asked, gazing into her eyes and caressing her lips with his thumb)
Bani : Yes.
She agreed excitedly and parted her lips. Veer slowly went closer to her lips while gazing into her eyes lovingly. He picked her up from the car bonnet by her waist and stepped backwards. He was about to place his lips on her when suddenly 'DOOM'... Both of them fell on the ground as Veer lost his balance.

Next morning, Veer and Bani woke up in their respective rooms at Behir's house with hangover. Veer turned beside him to check for Bani as she always sleeps beside him but she was not there. He was feeling dizzy and was about to get up from the bed when Bani entered his room.
Bani : Veer?
Veer : Sweetheart, where were you?
Bani : In my room. Ouch!!! I feel like there is a rock inside my head. (She sat on the bed and complained)
Veer : Me too. I'm feeling dizzy.
Both of them sat there holding their heads when Bela entered the room with 2 glasses of lemonade for their hangover.
Bela : Good morning, guys.
Veer : Good morning.
Bani : Bad morning, Bels.
Bela : Arre why bad morning?
Bani : Arghhh my head hurts!
Bela : I knew it. Drink this first. (She passed the glasses to them and they finished it quickly)
Veer : Bela, where is Mahir?
Bela : He is still sleeping, Veer.
Veer : He is not going to the office today?
Bela : It's Saturday yaar. I guess you haven't get rid of your hangover.
Veer : Hangover? (He raised his eyebrow)
Bani : Oh yeah, we went for clubbing last night.
Veer : Shit!! That's why I'm feeling dizzy now.
Bani : I'm going to sleep for a while. Bels, wake me up at 11 please.
Bela : 11? It's already 11 babe.
Veer : What? It's already 11? How did I sleep for so long?
Bela : Because we came back home late last night.
Bani : Okay, then wake me up at 1pm please. Good night opss good morning. (She yawned and laid down on the bed)
Veer : I'm going to freshen up first.
Bela smiled at Bani's antics and left while Veer left to the washroom to take his shower.

In the washroom :
Veer took out his shirt and stood in front of the mirror. The next moment his eyes widened at what he saw on his neck. A lipstick mark.
Veer : What the hell is this? Lipstick mark? What happened last night?
He tried recalling what happened last night but that gave him more headache so he decided to take his shower first. He placed his right hand on his neck and started rubbing off the lipstick mark but soon he got another shock there. A different ring on his finger. Veer looked at the ring closely and realised it's Bani's ring.
Veer : This is Bani's ring. Why am I wearing it? And where is my ring? I'm sure this is Bani's deeds. Crazy girl. (He brushed out his thoughts and took his bath)
He came out after getting ready and saw Bani was sleeping on the bed. He went near her to check for his ring and as he expected, Bani was wearing his ring.
Veer : Ufff, I thought so. (He held her hand and tried to take off his ring from her finger but Bani stirred in sleep)
Bani : Don't disturb. (She put her hands inside the blanket)
Veer's mind voice : Ufff she is not letting me to take it now. I will take back my ring later. But how come our rings got exchanged? (He started recalling last night's incidents again but suddenly his thoughts got disturbed by Mahir's voice)
Mahir : Hey bro, you are here?
Veer : Yes. But Bela said you were sleeping just now.
Mahir : I just woke up. Btw, what's that kitten doing?
Veer : She is sleeping, Mahir.
Mahir : We all are awake here but she is sleeping peacefully? No, it can't happen.
Veer : Mahir, let her sleep na.
Mahir : Cannot. (He jumped on the bed and started pulling the blanket from Bani)
Bani : I said don't disturb.
Mahir : But I will disturb. Wake up!!! (He pulled away the whole blanket but Bani turned the other side)
Veer : Mahir, just leave her.
Mahir : Why are you caring for her too much, Veer? I will never go from here until she wakes up.
Veer : Ufff, once she kick you then only you will know.
Mahir : Whatever. Oye Bani!!!!! Wake up!!!! (He screamed near her ear)
Bani woke up from her sleep angrily and glared at Mahir. He giggled at her and started pulling her hand to make her sit on the bed.
Veer : Wait I will call Bela now. Bela! Belaa!! (He screamed out Bela's name and she came there)
Bela : Veer? What happened?
Bani : Bela, ask your stupid husband to get lost from here right now! (She yelled angrily)
Bela : Mahir, what you did?
Mahir : I was just trying to wake her up. (He said casually)
Bela : Who asked you to wake her now? She asked me to wake her up at 1pm only.
Mahir : This is not fair. When I was sleeping there, you started yelling at me but now she can sleep huh?
Bani : So what? Why do you care? My wish! I will sleep as long as I want.
Mahir : But this is my house and my rules. (He snapped back)
Bela : Mahir!!! (She glared at him)
Bani : Bela, please divorce him right now. I hate this fellow!
Mahir's eyes popped out of his socket.
Mahir : What?? Di...divorce?
Bani : Yes! Divorce! (She said annoyedly)
Bela : Oye, he is my hubby. I won't divorce him. (After hearing this word, Veer started remembering last night's incidents one by one)

Veer's PoV :
Bani : What should I call you now? Hubby or Veeru?
Veer : No no, you call me Veeru always. I like it.
Bani : Hehe, okay Veeru.
Why did Bani ask me this question last night? How did our rings got exchanged?
Veer : I have an idea.
Bani : What idea?
Veer : We exchange our rings now so if they ask, we can tell them that we married at church here so after that we can stay together.
Bani : Yayyy!!! We are married now, Veeru.
Veer : Hurray!!! Now we will stay together as best friends forever. No one will separate us.
Oh God, Veer!! What you did last night? You almost married your best friend? Shit!!! How could you do this?
Bani : Arre buddhu, put your lips here.
Veer : Ohhh you want a kiss from me?
Veer : But this is wrong. I cannot kiss my best friend.
Bani : Arre baby see here we are married now.
Veer : Oh yes I forgot. So it's not wrong. I can kiss you now.
Bani : Yayyy!! Veeru is going to kiss me.
What??? Did I kiss her last night? Arghhh what happened after that? I can't remember anything. Hey wait, then what about the lipstick mark on my neck? Think Veer think!
Bani : Veeru, my heels poking me.
Veer : Alololo, chorry baby. Wait I will take away your heels.
Veer : Now ok?
Bani : Yes. So chweet of you, Veezanchuu.
First she kissed me on my left cheek then I kissed on her right cheek, then she kissed on my neck and I kissed on her neck. Shit!!! Dammit!! What the hell happened to me last night? What if Bani remember anything?
Veer's PoV ended.

Veer was looking at Bani and she was busy arguing with Bela and Mahir. He quickly walked out of his room and went to the kitchen. He was sweating badly and started getting nervous. He took a glass, pour some water and started drinking it while spilling some on his shirt. Suddenly he felt someone's hand on his shoulder and he got tensed. He slowly turned back and looked at the person. He breathed a sigh of relief as it was not Bani.
Veer : Bela?
Bela : Veer, what happened to you? Why your shirt is so wet?
Veer : Huh? (Then he looked down and realised that he spilled the water on him)
Bela : Are you okay, Veer? You seemed to be tensed over something.
Veer : Bela, can I talk to you personally? I need to ask you something.
Bela raised her eyebrow confusingly then agreed. They went to the garden area and sat on the swing.
Bela : Tell now, Veer. What's bothering you?
Veer : Umm Bela, I don't remember how we came back home last night. Do you remember anything? (He asked hesitantly)
Bela smiled at him.
Veer : Why are you smiling?
Bela : Do you remember anything that happened last night?
Veer : Umm you tell first. How did we reach home?
Bela : Well, last night after Mahir and I returned back to the bar counter, we found that you guys were not there. We searched in the whole club but couldn't find you both. We tried calling both of you but you guys didn't pick any of our calls so without any other choice, we came outside the club and started searching for you both at the parking area. And then... (She smirked at him)
Veer : And then? (He asked curiously)
Bela : And then....
Veer : Oh God, Bela please no more suspense. Just tell it yaar. What happened after that?
Bela : Okay relax. And then we saw you both were sleeping on the floor.
Veer : What???? We were sleeping on the floor? (His eyes widened)
Bela : Yes. You were on the floor and Bani was on top of you. Both of you were hugging each other and dozed off in a very comfortable position like sleeping on the bed. (She giggled)
Veer's mind voice : Shit! How embarrassing! I think we dozed off or maybe we fainted after falling down. It means I didn't kiss her. Ufff thank God!
Bela noticed that Veer was lost in his own thoughts. She snapped her fingers to bring him back from his la la land.
Bela : Veer???
Veer : Huh? Sorry I was... I mean after that how did we reach home?
Bela : Then we both made you guys to get up after many struggles and bring you both back home. Mahir made you sleep in your room and I made Bani sleep in her room.
Veer : But she is scared to sleep alone. How did she manage last night alone in the room?
Bela : Ufff Mr Caring Bestie, don't worry about it. I remember what you said that day so last night I accompanied Bani in her room so your darling bestie was not alone last night. Are you happy now?
Veer smiled at her relievedly.
Veer : Thank you so much, Bela.
Bela : That's alright. Just chill. (She smiled and went inside the house)

That whole day Veer was feeling guilty and was somewhat uncomfortable around Bani. Not that he doesn't feel comfortable with her but he was worrying about how much she remembers about their last night stupidity as she was behaving as usual with him and Behir but sometimes she remained in silence which was out of her character and that's what bothered him more. After their dinner, Bani was sitting in the garden area while scrolling her phone screen and Veer saw her sitting alone so he went to her.
Veer : Hi sweetheart.
Bani : Veer? What are you doing here?
Veer : I wanted to ask you that. What are you doing here at this time? (He asked, sitting beside her on the swing)
Bani : Hmm Veeru, mom called me twice but I didn't answer her call. She must be worried about me.
Veer : Do you want to talk to her?
Bani : Yes but what to say if she asks when are we going back to Mumbai?
Veer : Hmm just tell her that we are going to stay here for few more days as our friends insisting too much.
Bani : Okay and you said you will convince our parents from here but until now you haven't do it. (She raised her eyebrow)
Veer : No actually I'm just waiting for the right moment. Don't worry, I will try to convince them.
Bani : Hmm okay, Veer.
Veer's mind voice : Should I ask her? Hmm what if she doesn't remember anything?
Bani : Veeru? (No response) Veezanchu!!! (He turned to her with wide eyes)
Veer : What did you just call me?
Bani : Hehe I said Veezanchu. (She giggled)
Veer's mind voice : Oh God, it means she remembers everything?
Bani : Oye! Why are you getting lost frequently since morning? What's wrong with you?
Veer : Nothing. Well, I was just thinking about how to convince our parents. (He lied)
Bani : Ufff stop thinking too much, Veeru. We can do it. Let's think about it tomorrow. Now move your hands. (She moved his hands from his lap and rested her head there)
Veer : What are you doing?
Bani : Can't you see what I'm doing here? (She took his left hand and started playing with his fingers)
Veer smiled at her and slowly started caressing her hair with his right hand.
Veer : Sweetheart?
Bani : What?
Veer : Let's go inside.
Bani : No. Let's sit here for a while.
Veer : Okay.

There was pin drop silence between them for few minutes and it was broken by Bani.
Bani : Veeranshu?
Veer : Haan?
Bani : Do you remember Harsh? He added me in Instagram just now.
Veer : Which Harsh?
Bani : Harsh Chopra. Few months ago we had collaborated with his father's company. The Chopra Industries?
Veer : Oh yeah. But how do you remember him? We met him only once.
Bani : Well, you know about my special memory power. I will always remember hot chicks even if I meet them only once. (She praised her self)
Veer : He is not a chick.
Bani : Okay, he is a hot guy. Leave that and now listen to my story.
Veer : Okay continue. (He said uninterestedly)
Bani : Just now he added me in Instagram then I followed him back and we started chatting. You know what? He still remembers me, Veer. It's unbelievable right? But yeah who can forget Bani Sharma? No one can resist my charm. (She said proudly making Veer roll his eyes)
Veer : Ufff, enough with your self obsession. I thought you changed but you are still the same, Bani. (He said annoyingly)
Bani : What and why should I change? I'm not committing any crime. (She got up from his lap and looked at him seriously)
Veer : Okay, just continue with your story. After that what he said?
Bani : Oh yeah, after that we started chatting for a while exchanging our likes and dislikes then we talked about our personal lives. Oh shit, I forgot to tell this main thing to you. Guess what?
Veer : What?
Bani : He is also staying at Goa, Veer. (She said with a very excited expression)
Veer : Oh.
Bani : What oh? I told you such an amazing information but you are just saying oh? (She asked in disbelief)
Veer : Amazing information? What's amazing there?
Bani : Oh come on, Veeru. He is staying at Goa and we are also here. Now we have got an extra friend. I have invited him here for lunch tomorrow.
Veer : What??? How could you do this, Bani? This is not our house. You should ask for Mahir and Bela's permission first. I'm pretty sure they won't be interested in this.
Bani : You are wrong. I already ask them and they agreed. In fact, I invited him after asking for Bela and Mahir's permission.
Veer : Oh. When all these things happened? You guys have discussed so much but didn't tell me anything about it.
Bani : That's why I'm telling you now. We discussed this just now when you were in your room. I was waiting to tell you this and then I forgot. (She smiled sheepishly)
Veer : You forgot? Wow you forgot to inform me? Good improvement, Bani. Please forget me very soon and get married to someone else. Who knows maybe that Harsh also could be your groom. (He said, fuming with anger)
Bani : Veeru, what's wrong with you?
Veer : I said don't call me Veeru!!! (He shouted at her and Bani was taken aback)
Bani : Veer? Why are you overreacting now?
Veer : Just stop it, Bani. I'm having headache. I'm going to sleep. Goodnight. (He quickly walked away from there)
Bani was standing there speechlessly as she doesn't understand what happened to him.

At Veer's room :
Veer's mind voice : You are never going to change, Bani. I thought you have stopped flirting with boys but I was wrong. Last night we almost exchanged our rings and you asked me to kiss you but now you are inviting another guy for lunch tomorrow. (Something struck him) Hey wait, why she haven't talk about our rings until now? She would surely have seen my ring on her finger but why she didn't react about it?

At the same time, Bani entered his room. Veer turned and looked at her when he heard the sound of twisting the door knob.
Bani : Veer, I'm sorry if I made you upset just now.
Veer didn't answer her but he was staring at her finger. Bani saw where his gaze went and it didn't take much time for her to understand it.
Bani : Oh this one. I guess I accidentally wore your ring.
Veer : Give me back my ring.
Bani : Hmm actually I wanted to talk to you about this. I like this ring, Veer. Can I keep this with me please?
Veer : I will get you new one. Give me back this ring.
Bani : No, you get the new one for you. I want to keep this with me. Please?? (She showed her puppy face)
Veer : Why do you want to keep this ring? What's so attracting in it?
Bani : I just like it. And my ring is missing so I want to keep this with me.
Veer's mind voice : So she doesn't remember about the ring exchange incident. Good for us.
Veer : It's okay. (He quickly laid down and pulled the blanket till his head)
Bani also went and laid down beside him. Both of them drifted off in a short time.
