Next morning, Veer was the one to wake up first as rays of the morning sun which passed through the window shined on his face. He woke up with a smile but soon that smile faded when he opened his eyes and watched a view right beside his face. It was none other than Bani's foot. As usual she doesn't remain sleeping in the same position the next morning as how she slept last night. At the very right moment, Veer jumped from the bed and stood up straight when Bani threw her foot on the exact place where was his face few seconds ago.
Veer : Ufff, great escape from her kick today! (He breathed a sigh of relief and patted on his heart)
He did his morning chores and went to the kitchen hearing some noises from there. He saw Bela preparing for their breakfast.
Veer : Hey good morning, Bela.
Bela : Good morning, Veer. Why did you wake up so early? You should sleep for some time na.
Veer : No, that's alright. I always wake up early.
Bela : Hehe same like me. Want a cup of coffee?
Veer : Yes but I can make it. Just tell me where are the ingredients.
Bela : That's okay yaar don't be too formal. Let me do it.
Veer : Arre no yaar. I'm not being formal. I just like to drink coffee that I make myself. (He chuckled)
Bela : Alright then. (She explained him where the milk, coffee powder and sugar all kept)
Bela was cooking upma for breakfast and Veer was making coffee for him. Mahir entered the kitchen with his sleepy face and hugged Bela from behind. Bela felt embarrassed but Veer grinned at them.
Bela : Mahir, leave me. Veer is also standing here. (She tried removing his hands from her waist)
Mahir : That's okay. He won't mind. Hai na, Veer? (He asked while hugging her more tightly)
Veer : Yeah, I won't mind guys. Just chill. (He winked at them and focused on his coffee)
After some time, Bani came there while rubbing her eyes.
Bela : There she is. Kumbhakarni has finally woke up. (She said, looking at Bani)
Bani stopped rubbing her eyes and opened them to see Mahir was hugging Bela. Her eyes widened looking at them.
Bani : Mahir, what are you doing?
Mahir : Can't you see what am I doing?
Bani : She won't run away. Stop hugging her.
Veer : Sweetheart, it's their wish. Why are you being jealous? (He asked while sipping his coffee)
Mahir : Yeah. Why are you so jealous, little kitten? If you want you can go and hug Veer. (He chuckled)
Bela : Mahir, leave me.
Mahir : No! (He tighten his grip to annoy Bani)
Bani stomped her foot and quickly ran to hug Veer from behind as his back was facing her. Due to the sudden movement, the coffee spilled on his shirt and some on Bani's hands as she wrapped them around his waist.

Veer : Shit!
Bani : Ahhhh!!! (She quickly jerked away her hands and started jumping there)
Mahir : Hey careful!
Bela quickly jerked off Mahir's hands from her waist and rushed to Bani and dragged her to the sink to place her hands in the water.
Bani : Ahhhh it's burning!!!!
Veer : Sweetheart, I'm so sorry.
Bani : No, I'm sorry, Veer. You are not hurt right?
Veer : No, it just spilled on my hoodie not on my skin.
Bela : Mahir, it's all because of you. This is why I asked you to let me go just now! (She scolded him)
Mahir : Arre, I was just kidding. How do I know this little kitten will pull such a stunt here?
Bani rolled her eyes at Mahir while Bela was applying ointment on her hands.
Veer : Mahir, don't tease her. She will not be on good mood in the mornings.
Mahir : Really? Thank you for such an important information, bro. I will annoy her every morning after this. (He said, showing his tongue to Bani)
Bela : Mahir!!! (She glared at him)
Bani : I hate you, Mahir! Go to hell! (She tried to kick him but he ran away)
Veer : Bani, is it still burning?
Bani : No. (She pouted)
Veer : Yes or no? Why are you pouting now?
Bani : Nothing. (She walked away to her room)
Bela : What happened to her, Veer? Why she's behaving like this?
Veer : I think she is missing her parents, Bela. It takes time for her to adapt to this place and our new life.
Bela : Hmm I can understand. I will talk to her later. Plus, this Mahir idiot is irritating her more.
Veer : Hehe that's okay. (He giggled)

Veer made another coffee for him and Bani and brought them to his room. Bani was sitting on the bed while blowing air on her hands.
Veer : Oye, Bani. Are you upset with me?
Bani : No. Why are you asking like this?
Veer : Because you just walked away from the kitchen when I was asking you something there.
Bani : Hmm nothing. Give me the coffee.
Veer : Did you brush your teeth?
Bani : Hehe yes. (She giggled)
Veer : Really? (He raised his eyebrow)
Bani : Stop it yaar I'm not a kid. Give me the coffee. (She said, trying to pull the coffee cup from him)
Veer : Hey okay okay relax. Be careful. Don't burn your hands again. (He gently passed her the coffee cup)
Veer finished his coffee first and went to take his shower while Bani was taking her sweet time to drink the coffee. After some time, he came out after his shower and started wiping his hair.
Veer : Hello madam, why are you still sitting here? Go to your room and get ready first. We are going out after our breakfast.
Bani : Veer, can I talk to my mom?
He stopped with whatever he was doing at the moment and turned to Bani.
Veer : Bani, just yesterday only we came here. You have already started missing them huh?
Bani : It's okay. (She got up from the bed and started walking towards the door but Veer held her hand and stopped her)
Veer : Baby, do you regret for coming here?
Bani : No, Veer.
Veer : Then why are you sad since morning?
Bani : Hmm just now Mahir was hugging Bela right?
Veer : Haan so?
Bani : I always hug my mom like that when she works in the kitchen. After I saw them like that, it reminds me of my mom that's why I came to hug you but.. (She stopped and lowered her head)
Veer : Ufff sweetheart, you are sad for this small matter? What if your mom is not here? I'm here with you right? (Saying this, he opened his arms indicating her to hug him)
Bani smiled happily looking at him.
Bani : Not like this. Turn. (She turned him and back hugged him tightly)
Veer smiled and placed his hands on her hands.
Bani : Thank you, Veer. I'm not missing my mom anymore as long as you are with me. (She broke the hug and he turned to her)
Veer : Good girl. Now go and get ready.
Bani : Hehe okay. (She jumped happily and ran to her room)

After 1 hour, Bani went to the dining table when Veer and Behir almost finished their breakfast.
Bani : How dare you humans eat without me? (She frowned)
Mahir : Do you expect us to starve while waiting for you?
Bela : Shut up, Mahir. Bani, come and sit first. (She pulled the chair for Bani beside her)
Bani : So kind of you, Bela. You are not like your good-for-nothing husband.
Mahir : Look who's talking. (He snapped back sarcastically)
Veer : Mahir, why are you teasing her so much? (He whispered without letting Bani to hear them)
Mahir : It's fun to irritate her, Veer.
Veer : Fun huh? Later she will show you the real fun.
Mahir : What will she do? She is just a small kid.
Veer : Huh? Small kid? Don't forget that she on the same age with us.
Mahir : Ufff, don't support her too much. Let it be. (He chuckled)
Bani : What's going on with both of you?
Veer : Nothing, sweetheart. Faster finish your breakfast. We are going out now.
Bani : Where are we going?
Bela : We are going to Baga Beach. It's near to this place, just in walking distance.
Bani : Beach??? Wow! Can we play with the water?
Bela : Of course.
Mahir : Play with the water? Veer, this is why I said she is a kid. And Bani, we are not kids to just play with the water yaar. We are gonna try few water sports there.
Veer : Wow it's cool. I'm excited.
Bani : Me too.
Bela : Bani, did you bring any beach wear with you?
Bani : No.
Bela : Okay wait. Mahir and Veer, you guys go to the beach first. We will come in a while.
Mahir : You sure?
Bela : Yes.
Mahir : Okay then let's go, Veer. Let these ladies take their sweet time and reach there. We will try few water sports before them.
Veer : Hehe okay. (He chuckled and left with Mahir)

Mahir and Veer reached the beach and took off their shirts and remained with their shorts to let their skin expose to the sunlight.

Mahir : Veer, you want to wait for the ladies or shall we play some sports first?
Veer : Up to you, bro. I'm okay with anything.
Mahir : Okay then for now we book for 2 couple beach chairs and wait for them.
Veer : Yeah sure.
They booked the couple beach chairs and each of them settled on each chair while waiting for their partners.
Mahir : Veer, our ladies are finally here.
He said, pointing at the direction where BeNi are approaching. Before Veer could turn, he heard his phone ringtone and took out the phone to see the caller ID. It was from his dad. He signalled Mahir that he is going to attend the call and walked away from there when BeNi reached Mahir.
Mahir : Ufff girls, finally you both are here.
Bela : Where is Veer going?
Mahir : He's going to receive a call. He will be here in a short time.
He then scanned Bela from top to bottom.

(Bela's swimsuit)

Mahir : Btw, you are looking so sexy, jaan.
Bela blushed.
Bani : Oh, you can only see your jaan here is it? Am I not looking sexy?
Mahir : Ufff, you are more sexier than her babe. (He winked at her playfully)

Bani waited for Veer but he was too busy on the call so she went behind him and tapped on his shoulder. He didn't turn to her instead he showed 2 fingers of him indicating to give him 2 more minutes.
Bani : Veeranshu, look at me.
Veer : Wait. (He continued talking on the phone)
She waited for few minutes but he doesn't seem to cut the call anytime soon so she got annoyed.
Bani : Veeerrrrr!!! Look at me once!! (She started shaking his shoulders to annoy him)
Veer : Bani, what's your prob.....
He turned and was about to shout but his jaw dropped and eyes widened looking at the new avatar of Bani. He was gazing at her from top to bottom with wide eyes and mouth. His phone also fell down from his hand and he didn't even realise it. Bani started giggling at his reaction.

(Bani's swimsuit)

Veer : Ba.... (Mahir interrupted)
Mahir : Ni. Her name is Bani. (He and Bela joined them and giggled at Veer's reaction)
Bani : Hehe.. Veer, am I looking hot now? (She asked shamelessly while Bela hit her own forehead lightly)
Veer : Bani, what's wrong with you? You are not used to wear like this right? (He asked, being slightly annoyed)
Bani : So what? From now onwards I will get used to it. (She chuckled)
Veer : It's not nice, Bani. Go and wear something else. Decently! (He emphasised the last word)
Bani : What????? (She frowned at him)
Mahir : Veer, that's okay yaar. It's very common at Goa. Don't mind it.
Bela : Yeah, Veer. That's totally fine. She has no problem with this clothes so just let her be like that.
Veer : Guys, please shut up. And Bela, she is not used to this things. Her parents won't let her to wear like this.
Mahir : Ufff bro, why are you talking like her grandfather now? Her parents are not here so let her enjoy herself and do whatever she likes.
Bani : Which parents will ask their daughter to wear bikini? What nonsense are you talking, Veeru? (She pouted)
Veer : Shut up, Bani! Go and change yourself right now. (He ordered)
Bani : I won't! (She snapped back)
Veer : Bani, sweetheart, please go and change. This is not nice. (He tried telling her calmly)
Bani : It's my wish, Veer. This is nice and I will stay with this. (She said adamantly)
Veer : At least did you bring any shrug with you? Just go and wear it on this suit please.
Bani : Shut up, yaar. Stop forcing me!
Mahir : Veer, just leave it. Why are you behaving like this? Let her do whatever she wants.
Bela : Yeah, Veer. She has got the freedom to select her own clothes.
Veer : Fine. Do whatever you guys want. I'm not interested to join. (Saying this, he walked away exasperatedly after giving a last glare to Bani)
Bani : Veer!!! Veeranshu, please don't go. (She screamed but he just walked away)
Mahir : Why is he getting so possessive? This was not him before right? Bani, he is not your best friend, but your strict warden. (Saying this, he giggled)
Bela : Shut up, Mahir. Bani, go and talk to him please.
Bani : Hmm okay. (She ran behind Veer)

She kept calling Veer but he didn't stop there. She ran to him and grabbed his right arm. He tried to jerk away her hands but she held him tightly and he stopped there.
Bani : Veeranshu, wait.
Veer : What you want now? You came here to enjoy right so go and do it happily.
Bani : Veer, how can I enjoy without you? Please come with me.
Veer : You don't need me anymore, Bani. Go and do whatever you want. I won't give a damn about it.
Bani : Veer, please don't talk to me like this. I'm sorry. (She showed her puppy face)
Veer : What's wrong with you, Bani? Who teach you to wear like this?
Bani : What's wrong with this, Veer? This is common here. See even Bela also wearing a swimsuit.
Veer : She is married and her husband has no problem with that but your situation is not the same.
Bani : So what? Neither I'm married nor you are my husband so why are.... (She stopped when she realised what she said)
Veer was looking with his eyebrow raised at her.
Bani's mind voice : What did I just say? He is not my husband but why does he having a problem with my clothes? He was not like this before. What happened to him today? (She was staring at him)
Veer's mind voice : I know sweetheart I'm not your husband because I wouldn't even let you step out of the house in this avatar if I had been your husband. Sadly, I don't have any rights to stop you now. (He lowered his head)
Bani : Veer?
Veer : What?
Bani : What are you thinking about?
Veer : Nothing, Bani.
Bani : Please tell na, Veer.
Veer : Can I ask you something?
Bani : Yes?
Veer : If suppose let's say I'm your husband and I asked you to don't wear like this. What will you do after that? Will you go and change or still stay like this?
Bani went speechless with his question. She doesn't knew how to answer him.
Veer : Tell me, Bani. (He poked on her arm)
Bani : Why are you asking this?
Veer : I just need an answer only not a question in return.
Bani : I don't know, Veer. Best friend or husband, I will always listen to you. (She said without realising why she said that)
Veer felt happy inwardly but he didn't show it out.
Veer : Then why are you still staying like this?
Bani was about to say something but Behir came between them.
Bela : What are you both doing here? All solved? Shall we go and play some sports now?
Veer and Bani looked at each other not knowing what to say. Mahir saw them and nudged Bela and signalled her with his eyes to look at them.
Bela : What? (She whispered)
Mahir : Can't you see they are lost in each other's eyes? There is something between them. (He whispered softly not letting them to hear it)
Bela to Mahir : Stop your nuisance.
Bela to Bani : Bani? (She touched her shoulder)
Vani broke their eye contact and turned towards Bela.
Bani : Yes, Bela?
Bela : Shall we go?
Bani : Haan. Let's go.
She held Bela's hand and they started walking away. Mahir followed them while Veer was standing at the same place looking at Bani with an expressionless face. Bani also turned behind to look at Veer and she stopped walking when she saw him standing there.
Bani : Veer?? Chalo na.
He smiled and ran to her.
Veer : Haan chalo.

They first went to the couple beach chairs they booked and laid down there admiring the view of the beach while sipping their smoothies. Bani took Veer's shirt which he took off just now and wore it on her bikini. Veer admired the way she respects his request while Behir just snickered at them.
Veer : Thank you, sweetheart.
Bani : Are you happy now? (She showed him a fake glare)
Veer : A lot. (He said, pulling her cheek)
Bani : Don't touch me. I'm angry with you.
Veer : Why?
Bani : You spoiled my mood. I was so excited to see your reaction when I wear this for the first time but you just ruined everything.
Veer : Ufff, babe you are really getting more shameless nowadays. (He chuckled)
Bani : Shut up, Veeru. I can be shameless only with you.
Veer just smiled at her but he blushed inwardly. After some time, four of them decided to get into the water and play all the water sports to have fun. They started with parasailing, banana ride, jet ski, bumper ride and finally ended with a boat ride at six in the evening. They enjoyed a lot there and Vani forgot about their families and spent their day enthusiastically along with Behir. They were totally drained out of energy by the time they reached home.
