The next day at Sharma mansion, Bani was hurriedly packing her stuffs in the luggage. She was feeling quite nervous and scared but she tried to chase away those fears and stay strong with her decision. She quickly placed everything in her luggage and closed the zip. She walked down through the staircase with her one big sized luggage and a small hand carry bag. Her parents and Tara who were sitting at the living room saw Bani coming down with bags in her hands and they got up from their seat worriedly.

Tanvi : Bani, where are you going?
Aayush : Beta, are you going out anywhere?
Tapish : Oye sister, are you planning to elope with anyone? (He chuckled)
Meera : Shut up, Tapish. (She hit on his arm)
Tanvi : Where are you going, Bani?
Bani : Actually mumma, papa, I'm going to..... (She was cut by Veer who hurriedly enter the mansion and screamed her name)
Veer : Bani!!!
Aayush : Arre, Veer? Are you both planning to go anywhere?
Veer : Yes uncle. We are going to Bangalore.
Tanvi : Bangalore? For what?
Veer/Bani : Friend's wedding/Business meeting. (They answered wrongly in unison)
Veer glared at Bani and she bit her tongue.
Meera : What? Friend's wedding or business meeting? (She raised her eyebrow)
Veer : Huh actually... (Bani interrupted)
Bani : Both bhabhi. We are going to attend our friend's wedding first then will attend the business meeting. (She gave them an awkward smile)
Veer's mind voice : Oh God, this girl!!!
Aayush : What business meeting? No one has inform me about any business meeting at Bangalore. Wait, let me call Ballu and ask. (Veer immediately stopped him when he took out his phone to make a call)
Veer : Uncle no! I mean there's no business meeting, Bani. The meeting is scheduled for next week. Now we are going for our friend's wedding only. (He said, gritting his teeth)
Bani : Oh is it? Hehe sorry I forgot. (She smiled sheepishly)
Tapish : Guys, what's going on? Which friend's wedding?
Veer/Bani : School friend/college friend. (Again in unison)
Others : What???
Veer : Bani, better shut your mouth right now. Let me answer them. (He whispered to her)
Bani : Chorry, Veeru. (She whispered back and Veer glared at her)
Tapish : Guys? What are you both discussing there?
Veer : Ufff bhai, let us explain first. We are going to Bangalore for our school friend's wedding. He is going to marry our college friend so that's why Bani got confused just now. We are going to stay there for 3 days and will return back on the 4th day. Is it clear now?
Tanvi : Okay but why didn't you guys tell us about this earlier? Both of you are going to Bangalore today and informing us now?
Veer : No aunty, actually yesterday only we got a call from them. Last minute plan so yeah. (He gave a convincing smile)
Aayush : Okay beta. Have a happy journey and congratulate your friends on our behalf.
Bani : Okay papa.
Meera : Bani, what are you going to wear for the wedding? Don't say that you are going to wear shirt and pant as always you do. (She giggled)
Tanvi : Yeah, you are right. Bani, let me get you a lehenga for the wedding. Come with me.
Veer : Sweetheart, it's getting late. We need to catch the flight soon. (He whispered to her)
Bani : Mumma, I have already take a lehenga with me. You don't worry. We are getting late. I think we should leave now, Veer.
Veer : Yeah. Let's go. Bye everyone.
Tapish : Veer, make sure Bani is safe with you there.
Veer : Sure bhai. Don't worry. She is my responsibility.
Tanvi : Tapish, you don't have to worry. This is not their first trip. Veer and Bani have been to States few months ago. (She assured him)
Bani went and hugged her family members one by one. They got a little suspicious as she has never done this before.
Aayush : Beta, you are not going to abroad. Bangalore is just near us and you will be back in 4 days so don't worry about it. (He chuckled)
Bani : Okay papa. (She smiled)
Veer : Bani, let's go. (He held her wrist and walked away)

At the airport :
Bani was being silent during the whole check-in process. They finally got into the flight and Veer sighed in relief. He saw Bani was still being dull with a pout so he initiated the conversation.
Veer : Sweetheart, just relax okay? (He placed his hand on her hand)
Bani : Hmm.
Veer : Oye, we decided this together and now you are behaving as if I'm kidnapping you. If you don't want to go further then chalo let's get down now. We still got 10 minutes left for the flight to take off. Come on. (He got up and held her hand but she pulled him back to his seat)
Bani : No, Veer. I'm just feeling bad for lying with our parents and going to Goa.
Veer : Ufff, as if you have never ever lied to your parents before this. (He rolled his eyes)
Bani : No but we are going to miss them.
Veer : I feel the same but we have no other option, Bani. Let things settle down first then we will come back and explain to them.
Bani : Isn't it one month too longer? They just gave us one week time.
Veer : Let's see the outcome first. If our parents approve our decision then we can come back earlier than we plan.
Bani : Hmm okay. Can you please call him and ask if everything is ready there or not?
Veer : Ufff sweetheart, I already call him twice. Stop asking it again and again. Everything is ready there. He and his wife asked us to stay with them at their house so please keep your smart brain calm and relax for a while. (He said exasperatedly)
Bani : Okay.
Bani closed her eyes and leaned back on her seat and rested her head on Veer's shoulder. She thought how did her life change in overnight. She started recalling how they planned to take this sudden decision last night.

Flashback :
Veer : I have an idea, Bani. But you need to cooperate with me for this. I'm not sure if it will work or not but we don't have any other option.
Bani : What is that, Veer?
Veer : Wait, let me lock the door first. (He went to lock the door)
Veer came back and settled beside her on the bed.
Bani : Okay, tell me now.
Veer : Bani, listen to me carefully. I'm pretty sure we won't be able to convince our parents now. We are not ready to get married anytime soon that too with each other so we have only one option left now.
Bani : What is that? Are we going to commit suicide? Oh no, Veer!!! I can't die this soon. I still haven't had my first kiss until now. I'm not going to die without enjoying my life. (She started her drama and overacting)
Veer placed his palm on his forehead exasperatedly.
Bani : Veer, tell me we are not going to take that decision right? I don't want to die soon.
Veer : Are you done with your drama? If not yet, please wake me up after you are done. Goodbye! (He laid down on the bed)
Bani : Okay, I'm sorry. Please continue, Veeru. (She pulled him forward to sit)
Veer : Now keep quiet and listen to me. I think we should need to go somewhere far from our parents for few days and try to convince them from there because they won't let us to argue when we are in front of their eyes. Moreover, your parents and my parents will create a scene if they are together so we need to stay away from them and try to convince them respectively. What say?
Bani : But somewhere far means where? Abroad?
Veer : We don't have to go abroad for that. We can just settle down somewhere in India. Well, how about Goa? I just recently heard from one of our school friends that Mahir has settled down at Goa with his wife.
Bani : Mahir? You mean Mahir Sehgal? The hot stuff? (She asked with big round eyes)
Veer : Yes.
Bani : What? Seriously? He is married? Why so early? He is also from our batch right? Oh God why these hot guys are getting married too early! (She complained annoyingly)
Veer : Ufff, Bani! Can't you be serious in this situation? I'm explaining you about my suggestion to solve our problem but you are complaining like a grandma here!
Bani : Okay, fine! (She rolled her eyes)
Veer : Now tell me. Is it a good idea?
Bani : How long are we going to stay away from our family?
Veer : As long as we can't convince them. Maybe 1 month or more than that.
Bani : What????? One month??? (Her lips formed into a big hole)
Veer : Shut your mouth. I said maybe. If they get convinced then we can return earlier than that.
Bani : Hmm I can't stay without my parents for one whole month.
Veer : Okay fine. Go and say to your parents that you are going to marry someone else and then get married to an anonymous person and leave your parents and me forever.
Bani : No!!!! I don't want to get married. I agree with your idea. (She nodded like a child)
Veer : Are you sure? No back off, Bani. Think properly and say.
Bani : Hmm give me 2 minutes to think. (She started tapping her chin)
Veer : If you want you can take 2 hours also but make sure tell me your opinion by today. I need to call Mahir and ask his permission first.
Bani : No, I don't need time. I agree with you. I will be staying with you so I have no worries. Let's go.
Veer : You sure??
Bani : Yes baba I'm sure.
Veer : Okay then let me speak to him first.
Veer called Mahir and they spoke for few minutes. Mahir agreed with their plan and asked them to come to Goa the next day itself. Veer thanked him and cut the call.
Bani : What he said?
Veer : Plan success, Bani!!!! (He exclaimed happily by shaking her shoulders)
Bani : Wow so kind of him. Mahir Sehgal 😍 (She uttered his name dreamily)
Veer : Madam, for your kind information he is married now so stop with whatever you are planning to do with him. (He warned as he could read her thoughts)
Bani : Ufff, fine! When are we going?
Veer : Tomorrow. (He said casually but her eyes widened)
Bani : Tomorrow?
Veer : Yes.
Bani : You mean tomorrow?
Veer : Bani Sharma, I hope you don't have any problem with your ears! (He said exasperatedly)
Bani : Veer, let's leave after two or three days. Why tomorrow?
Veer : Because I can't trust you if we stay here any longer. If our parents try to influence you alone when I'm not around then you will melt at their emotional blackmail and say yes to them.
Bani : Hmm. (Her face went dull and she lowered her head)
Veer noticed that and cupped her face before moving the hair strands behind her ears.
Veer : Bani, look at me.
Bani raised her eyes and looked at him.
Veer : You don't trust me?
Bani : I do.
Veer : Have I ever do anything that could hurt our parents?
Bani : No.
Veer : But this time we have to do it because it's about our lives. We can't marry each other and at the same time we can't marry someone else too. We are not mentally prepared for our marriage.
Bani : But they will be worried about us if we leave without informing them.
Veer : Who said we will leave without informing them? We will inform them that we are going for our friend's wedding at Bangalore and will return within 3 or 4 days.
Bani : But we won't return within 3 or 4 days na?
Veer : Yes, you are right. I have a plan for that so you don't have to worry about it now.
Bani : Hmmm. (She lowered her eyes again)
Veer placed a kiss on her forehead which made her to look at him again.
Veer : Baby, trust me okay. I'm doing this for our own good. If we get to convince them successfully then we will return as soon as possible and carry on with our normal life.
Bani : Okay, Veeranshu. I trust you. (She smiled at him and he breathed a sigh of relief)
Flashback ends.

Veer and Bani landed at Goa airport around 4 in the evening. They did their check-out formalities and stepped out of the airport 30 minutes later. Mahir was already there standing at the visitors' lane waiting for Vani. Once Vani came out of the main gate, Mahir quickly rushed towards them and welcomed them with bone crushing hug.
Veer : Hey, Mahir! Long time no see!
Mahir : Veeerrrrr!!!!! God, you are changed a lot man! (The bumped their fist after their hugging session)
Bani cleared her throat to get attention from Mahir. He immediately turned towards her and gave her a warm welcoming hug. Bani smirked at Veer who was standing behind Mahir and reciprocated his hug while Veer rolled his eyes at her.
Mahir : Oye, Bani! How are you? Wow what a transformation. You have turned into a beautiful woman now. (He complimented after breaking the hug)
Bani : You too Mahir. You are looking more hot and sexy now. Ufff, look at your muscles. I missed you, man! (Bani replied, poking at his arms as he was wearing a sleeveless hoodie)
Veer : (Clearing his throat) Bani, I would like to remind you that Mahir is married now so better stop flirting with him. (Bani frowned and Mahir chuckled)
Mahir : That's okay, Veer. Ufff, this kitten still haven't change huh? Still flirting around?
Bani : You still remember the kitten story? Oh God! Please forget it, Mahir. Don't embarrass me anymore. (She pouted)
Veer : What kitten story?
Bani : Nothing. (She showed her tongue)
Mahir : Arre, let me tell him. Actually it happened during our school days, Veer. One day you were absent so Bani and I were walking back home from school. While on the way, we saw a little kitten got stuck in the drainage and it was struggling to come out. Then our adventurous Bani Sharma tried her superman skills and got into the drainage to save the kitten. After saving the kitten, it came out safely but then Bani got stuck in the drainage. Then at the end, I helped her by pulling her out from the drainage. (He giggled and Veer started laughing at it)
Veer : Wow really? Oh God, my bad luck, I missed such a great scene that day. (He teased her)
Bani : Shut up you both! (She hit on their arms)
Mahir : Awww you are still behaving the same, cutiepie. (He said, pulling her both cheeks)
Veer was somewhere feeling jealous looking at this two flirting with each other.
Veer : Mahir, are you guys planning to stay here and continue flirting until the security guards chase us away?
Bani : Oh yeah, Mahir let's go home. I'm feeling hungry.
Mahir : Opss sorry guys. Let's go. (He guided them to his car)

They reached Mahir's house within 15 minutes.
Veer : Btw Mahir, when are you going to tell us about your wife? You didn't even tell us her name until now. (He asked while getting down the car)
Mahir : It's a surprise. Anyway, you guys are going to see her now so just wait for few more seconds. (He chuckled while helping them to take out their luggages)
A beautiful woman with long silky hair and golden brown orbs came out from the house and greeted Vani. The both pair of eyes popped out staring at the woman. Mahir giggled looking at their reaction.
Mahir : Guys, meet my wife. Mrs Bela Mahir Sehgal.
Bani : Bela??? What the hell? Are you guys serious?
Veer : Bela? Mahir, is it true?
Bela : Guys, why are you both reacting as if you guys just saw a ghost in me? Relax yaar. (She giggled at them)
Mahir : How's my surprise guys?
Bani : Bela, how did you get married to him? Where were you all these days? (She asked with wide opened eyes and mouth)
Bela : Hehe Bani, can you open your eyes any wider than this and shut your mouth yaar. (She grinned and hugged Bani)
Bani : But how did this happen?
Veer : And when did this happen? Mahir? Would you mind to explain me?
Bela : Hey, Veer. Let us welcome you guys first. (She hugged him and he reciprocated)
Bani : Okay, now tell us please. How and when did this happen? (She asked while settling down inside the house)
Mahir : Arghh, it's a long story guys. You guys will be here for a month or more so we got a lot of time to discuss about this. Now go and freshen up yourselves. We will prepare snacks for you both.
Bani : No, Mahir. Please tell us now or else my head will explode in this suspense.
Veer : Bani, let's talk about this later. Go and freshen up first.
Bani : No! (She pouted stubbornly)
Veer : Bani!!! (He glared at her)
Bani : Veeru!!! (She repeated)
Bela : Guys, don't start your fight again. Bani, come with me. I will show you the room and Mahir will show Veer's room. (She took Bani with her and Mahir took Veer with him)
