It was 9:00 on Monday morning, the atmosphere looks like it's a college and the environment was densely crowded with the students and lecturers who were busy rushing to their classes and cabins. There comes a girl, who was rushing towards the corridor to reach her class. It was almost 10 minutes past nine and the girl was rushing as she was already late to the first lecture. She is currently pursuing MBA in final year and only one more semester is left for her to complete her MBA. The corridor was empty as all the students have gone to their respective classes. This girl was almost 100 meter away from her class and when she was about to run towards her classroom, someone pulled her at the corridor and dragged her to hide themselves behind a pillar.

Girl : Who the hell is it? (She shouted before looking at the person)
Boy : Shhh.. don't shout. (He placed his palm on her lips)
The girl looked at him and removed his palm from her lips.
Girl : Hey baby!! I'm so sorry I didn't see you here. (She hugged him)
Boy : I really missed you, baby. (He reciprocated the hug while inhaling the fragrance of her hair)
Girl : Baby, I'm already late for the first lecture. Let me go now. I will meet you after the lecture.
Boy : No, I won't let you go. (He caged her between his arms and the pillar)
Girl : Baby, you don't have class now?
Boy : Nope.
Girl : But I have. Please let me go.
Boy : Okay but on one condition. (He smirked)
Girl : What's that?
Boy : I have been asking you for this since 2 weeks. I want a kiss from you.
The girl's eyes got widened and the boy chuckled at her expression.
Girl : Kiss? Okay, I will give you later. Let me go now.
Boy : No, you kiss me first then I will let you go.
Girl : Arghh, okay fine. Close your eyes.
Boy : Really? You are going to kiss me on my lips? (He asked excitedly)
Girl : Yes, close your eyes.
The boy cupped her face while the girl placed her hands on his chest. Both of them closed their eyes to live the moment and slowly getting closer to each other. Their lips were only an inch apart to get attached. They were almost moving closer but suddenly a hand came between their lips and that girl kissed on the hand. Without opening her eyes, she screamed out his name exasperatedly.
Girl : Veeranshu!!!! (Both the boy and girl opened their eyes and looked at the boy who ruined their moment)
Boy : What the hell is going on here? (He stared at the boy)
Veer : Dheeraj bro, I'm so sorry. It's getting late. We need to go to the class now. Come on, Bani. (Saying this, Veer quickly dragged that girl with him and ran towards their class)
(P.S. So yeah by now you guys must have known who was that girl and boy. They were none other than Bani and Dheeraj)
Bani : Baby, I will meet you later!!! (She screamed while running with Veer)

They reached their classroom and entered while panting heavily.
Professor : Why are you guys late again? Why are you both panting heavily?
Veer : Actually sir...(Bani interrupted)
Bani : Sir, our car tyre got punctured on our way from home to college so we almost ran 2km from there to reach the class on time but unfortunately we are already 20 minutes late. We are sorry, sir. (She showed her puppy face)
Veer looked at her in amusement as he knew that she lied to the professor.
Professor : What? You guys ran for 2km? I really appreciate your determination, guys. Go and take your seat.
Veer : Thank you, sir.
Bani : Thank you, sir. (They both went and sat on the last row)
Veer : You have got your phd in creating fake stories, right? (He said while taking the notebook from his bag)
Bani : Shut up. Who asked you to come there?
Veer : I came and saved you at the right moment.
Bani : What? You saved me? Idiot, you have been spoiling my romantic moments since years! Because of you I still haven't had my first kiss until now. (She said annoyingly)
Veer : I have told you many times! Don't ever get involved physically unless you really love that guy sincerely.
Bani : But I love him sincerely.
Veer : Who? Dheeraj? Babe, do you have a count on your boyfriends? I guess he is your 13th boyfriend if I'm not mistaken.
Bani : No, he is the 16th one. (She corrected)
Veer : See, you are telling me that he is your 16th boyfriend yet you love him sincerely? Stop joking and focus on the lecture.

Veer : Wait a minute, you told me that you accepted his proposal 3 days ago only but he have been asking for a kiss since 2 weeks? (He raised his eyebrow)

Veer : You show some mercy on those boys, Bani. I have been saving you from your so-called boyfriends since 6 years. When are you going to stop doing this things for God's sake?
Professor : Veeranshu and Bani, get out from my class right now! You both have been talking since just now! (He threw the marker pen on them)
Veer : I'm sorry, sir.
Veer took his bag and walked out immediately while Bani ran behind him.
Bani : Veer, why are you walking so fast? Wait for me.
Veer : Are you happy now, idiot? Because of you we missed today's lecture.
Bani : I'm sorry. (She held his arm with her puppy eyes)
Veer : Why are you coming behind me now? Go behind that Dheeraj. I'm sure he will take advantage on you one day and after that please don't come back to me to show your puppy face and tears.
Bani : Veer, why do you always hate my boyfriends?
Veer : I don't hate your boyfriends, Bani. I hate you! Stop playing with their feelings all the time. Especially with that Dheeraj. I know about him very well. He is such a hot-tempered guy.
Bani : But I was just flirting with him. He was the one who proposed me, Veer.
Veer : So what? If you don't love him then why did you accept his proposal?
Bani : Because I don't want to hurt him by saying no.
Veer : Then get lost! (He jerked her hand off and walked away)
Bani : Veer?? Veer, please stop. Veeranshu? (She ran behind him and held his hand again)
Veer : Leave me, Bani. (He tried to jerk away her hand on him)
Bani : Okay, I promise I won't talk to him after this.
Veer : I guess you have made thousands of promises before this.

Veer : Stop calling me that!
Bani : Okay, Veezanchu. (She chuckled and Veer smiled a little)
Veer : Pani!!! (Both of them giggled together)

At the college cafeteria :
Veer and Bani were having their snacks when Daksh, Ponky, Nisha and Divya approached them.
Daksh : Hey bro, hello Bani.
Veer : Hey, Daksh, Ponky. Come and sit here.
Bani : Divya and Nisha, come and join us.
Daksh : We heard that the professor threw you both outside again during the lecture today. (He smirked)
Bani : Who told you?
Ponky : Who else?
Bani : Divya and Nisha!!!! (She glared at them)
Divya and Nisha : Sorry. (They giggled)
Veer : It's all because of you, Bani!
Bani : What because of me? You were also talking there right?
Veer : Yeah, you are right! It's totally waste talking to you.
Bani : I should say that!
Daksh : Guys, please stop fighting again. Let's eat something. I'm hungry.
Ponky : Me too.
Divya : Yes, me too. Let's go and buy something.
Bani : Okay you guys go and buy. We will wait here.
Veer : Nisha, how about you?
Nisha : No, I'm not hungry now. I will eat later.
Veer : Alright. (Veer started scrolling down his phone screen)

Veer raised his head and looked at Bani. Bani saw him giving her 'tell her the truth' look.

Nisha : What do you mean by no? You don't love him?

Nisha : But I guess he is being sincere to you, Bani. If you don't like him then please tell it to him.
Veer : Don't worry, Nisha. I assure you that Bani will tell your brother the truth by tomorrow itself.
Nisha : Hmmm okay. Bani, I know he is my brother but still you are my friend so it's my duty to save you from his anger. Better explain him carefully. I know about his anger and he can go to any extent if he finds out about you cheating on him. (She warned her)
Bani's eyes popped out and she gulped in fear.
Bani : But he knows very well that I'm not serious with the relationship. I told him that I just prefer to flirt.
Nisha : Then why did you accept his proposal?
Bani : Because he assured me by saying he is not serious with the relationship too.
Nisha : No, Bani. I don't think so. I could feel him being serious with the relationship.
Veer : Oh Shit!! Bani, you are dead. (He added ghee into the fire)
Bani : Veer, please. (She almost had tears in her eyes)
Veer : Okay, just chill. I will help you to explain him tomorrow. (He assured her by wrapping his arm around her shoulder)

The next day :
Veer went to Bani's house to pick her up. It's his daily routine to pick and drop Bani at home. He waited for Bani in the car for more than 15 minutes but she doesn't seem to show up anytime soon so he went inside the house. He entered and saw her parents were having their breakfast there. They greeted him when he went in.
Aayush : Veer, good morning my boy.
Tanvi : Good morning, beta.
Veer : Hi, uncle and aunty. Good morning.
Tanvi : Beta, come and join us.
Veer : No, aunty. I just had my breakfast at home. Where is the drama queen? It's getting late already.
Aayush : She is still in her room. Go and call her. We have been calling her out since half an hour but she doesn't listen to us.
Veer : Ufff, okay uncle. (He ran to her room)
He opened the door and saw her combing her hair in front of the mirror.
Veer : Hello, madam! Now only you are combing your hair? It's going to be 9 soon. (He asked while leaning against the door with his arms crossed on his chest)
Bani : Veer, can you please help me to arrange the books in my bag?
Veer : Okay. Faster.
After 2 minutes,
Veer : I'm done. Chalo, Bani. It's getting late.
Bani : 2 minutes, Veer. (She was trying to make braid hair)
Meanwhile Bani's mom came there with a plate of breakfast for Bani.
Tanvi : Bani, faster get ready. Veer is waiting for you right?
Bani : Mumma, help me with this braid please.
Tanvi : Just tie pony tail. Why do you need braid now? It's getting late for your college.
Veer : To impress boys. (He muttered under his breath)
Bani : Please mumma.
Veer : Aunty, give me the plate. You go and help her while I will feed her the breakfast.
Tanvi passed him the plate and starting making braids while Veer started to feed her.
Veer : Open your mouth, lazy drama queen.
Bani : Mumma, he is scolding me in front of you. (She made a face)
Veer made a big bite of paratha and stuffed her mouth to stop her from speaking.
Tanvi : Just shut up and eat.
Bani : Hmmm...hmm. (She tried to speak while chewing the food)
Veer : Faster, Bani. It's getting late. I won't come and pick you from tomorrow. (He said while stuffing another big bite into her mouth)
Tanvi : Okay, done. Faster get ready. (She left after making braid)
He finished feeding her within 5 minutes and quickly dragged her to downstairs while she was still chewing the food.
Veer : Hurry up, Bani!
Bani : Hmmm!!!
Aayush : Veer, let her drink water first. She is still chewing her food.
Veer : Uncle, it's getting late. There's a water bottle in the car so she will drink it. Bye uncle, bye aunty. (He quickly dragged her to the car)

They reached the college at 9:05am and quickly rushed to their classroom. It was their lucky day as the first lecture got cancelled so they got escaped from their professor's taunts. Bani, Veer, Divya and Nisha decided to spend their time at the cafeteria as they had 2 hours left for the next lecture.
Nisha : Veer, where are Daksh and Ponky?
Veer : To their bad luck, their first lecture's professor is present today so they can't join us now.
Nisha : Oh okay. I'm hungry. I'm going to get sandwich for me.
Divya : Nisha, get for me one please.
Nisha : Sure. Veer and Bani, do you guys want something to eat?
Veer : Nope, I don't want.
Bani : I also don't want.
Nisha : Alright. (She left to buy food)
Veer was going through his lecture notes while Bani and Divya were gossiping there. Suddenly Bani saw Dheeraj approaching her from a distance. She got scared and quickly signalled Veer.
Bani : Veer?
Veer : What?
Bani : Look there. (She pointed at Dheeraj)
Veer : Wow your 16th prince charming is coming here.
Bani : Veer, please save me from him.
Veer : Why should I save you? Go and date with him.
Divya : Bani, why are you getting scared now? You told me that you guys are in relationship.
Veer : Relationship? Who? Bani? Nice joke. (He chuckled sarcastically)
Bani : Veer, please save me. He's coming near already. (She almost hide her face behind Veer when Dheeraj reached them)
Veer : Hi bro. Come and join us. (He called him to irritate Bani)
Dheeraj : Hi, Veer. Bani, what are you doing behind him?
Bani peeped out from Veer's back and saw Dheeraj was sitting right in front of her. Veer smirked looking at her while she glared at him. Dheeraj was looking at Bani confusingly because of her weird behaviour.
Dheeraj : Bani? Are you alright, baby?
Bani : Hmm yeah, I'm alright.
Nisha came there with the sandwiches and passed one to Divya then she sat beside Dheeraj. Even though Dheeraj is her own brother but still she is afraid of him as he is always strict to her.
Nisha : Bhai, do you want sandwich?
Dheeraj : I guess mom told you to don't eat non-vege today.
Nisha : It's vege, bhai.
Dheeraj : Okay.
Bani and Nisha started talking with their eyes. Bani asked her if she got tell anything to Dheeraj yesterday and Nisha said no.
Dheeraj : What are you both doing?
Nisha : Huh? Nothing, bhai. (She continued eating)
Dheeraj : Bani, why didn't you respond any of my calls and texts since yesterday?
Veer : Bani? You didn't respond him? Why? (Bani glared at Veer)
Bani : Hmm nothing, Dheeraj. I was just busy with my assignments.
Dheeraj : Okay, baby. Shall we go out anywhere after class? (He smirked)
Before Bani could reply him, Veer interrupted.

He got up and extended his hand for Bani to hold but she refused it genuinely.
Bani : Hmm you go first. I will come behind you.
Dheeraj : Okay. (He left)
Veer : Bani, are you sure?
Nisha : Bani, he is not in good mood since last night. Are you sure you want to talk to him right now?
Bani : Hmmm I think I should do it now. I was just flirting with him but he's taking it serious. I need to explain him before it gets late.
Veer : Okay. Make sure come back alive. (He chuckled)
Bani spared a glare at him before going to meet Dheeraj.
Veer : Nisha, do you think your brother will understand her?
Nisha : I'm not sure. Let her speak to him first.
Veer : What if he loses his temper and do something to her?
Divya : Veer, what are you saying? Is he that dangerous guy?
Nisha : Not dangerous but he will lose his temper easily, Divya. But I think Bani can handle him.
Veer : I think I will go behind them to make sure he doesn't lose his temper with her.
Nisha : Yes, it's better. Please go, Veer.
Veer : Okay.

At a secluded place near the cafeteria :
Dheeraj was waiting for Bani there. She came after 2 minutes and he could notice fear in her eyes. He cupped her face and asked her.
Dheeraj : Baby, are you alright?
Bani : Hmm Dheeraj, can I ask you something?
Dheeraj : Yes baby?
Bani : Are you being serious with this relationship?
Dheeraj : Why are you asking this?
Bani : Just tell me please.
Dheeraj : Yes, I am.
Bani's eyes popped out in fear and shock.
Bani : I told you right that I'm not going to be serious in this relationship. In fact, I don't prefer to be in a relationship. I was just flirting with you.
Dheeraj : Yes, I know that baby. But don't worry I will make sure you fall in love with me very soon. (He winked)
Bani immediately jerked away his hands which were cupping her face.
Bani : What did you say? You will make me fall in love with you very soon?
Dheeraj : Yes, you heard it right.
Bani : Dheeraj, please stop playing. I told you already that I don't prefer this things all.
Dheeraj's expression changed and anger was visible in his eyes which was noticed by Bani. He grabbed her shoulder and looked at her dangerously.
Dheeraj : I'm not playing, Bani. I'm being sincere to you. (He said in stern voice)
Bani : Dheeraj, please leave me. You are hurting me.
Bani's mind voice : Veer, where are you? Please come and save me from this demon. Please come here, Veer.
Dheeraj kept staring at her eyes for a few seconds before he burst out laughing. He left the hold and started laughing madly. Bani was looking at him confusingly and Veer who was watching all this from a short distance was also shocked with his action.
Bani : Why are you even laughing?
Dheeraj : Baby, look at your face. You looked so cute when you are frightened.
Bani : What?
Dheeraj : Just relax, darling. I was just playing with you. I'm not serious with his relationship either so don't worry.
Bani huffed and breathed a sigh of relief.
Bani : Thank God. Why did you behave like that just now? I got scared to death for few seconds.
Dheeraj : Just wanted to look at your cute reaction. (He said, pulling her cheeks)
Veer's mind voice : What the hell is going on? I knew him very well since 3 years and I'm sure this is not his real face. He is behaving out of his character. I'm sure he's acting now.
Bani : So, you are not angry with me right? You got it that I'm not being serious with you and this relationship?
Dheeraj : Yes, I do. I'm not serious either so just relax.
Bani : Hmm okay. You are going to sit for finals by next week so please go and focus on it.
Dheeraj : But wait, baby. How about the kiss? You promised me yesterday.
Bani's mind voice : Oh no!! Why the hell he is asking about the kiss again? If Veer finds out this then he will choke me with his lectures.
Dheeraj : Oye, baby!! I'm talking to you. (He snapped his fingers)
