A/n pov:
After three days:

It's been three days since Gauri recieved the keys...her whole mind was filled with stress and worries since she is going to do something which either will make her regret her decision or she'll lost Neel for her actions.

Currently she was in her room looking outside the window. She was remembering the conversation between her Nitya

Flashback:

Gauri and nitya were in cafe were nitya passed key to her. Gauri opened the box and nitya spoke

Nitya: are you sure you want to do this??

Gauri: as I said have no other option besides this...

Nitya: but if your assumptions were proved to be wrong then?? Your relationship will come under threat.

Gauri: I know every consequences but I have to do this...I don't want to remain ignorant with whatever happening in the house...I have to interfere in Neel's past if I have to know his present...

Nitya: you have a point..

Gauri: so...I'll take the bet...love bet..

Flashback ends

Present time

Gauri: hey Durga maa, give me strength....

|At dinning hall|

Gauri was serving breakfast to Neel while everyone were eating their food when Sakshi broke the silence

Sakshi: Neel are you done with arrangements?

Neel nodded and replied

Neel: yes mom...

Sakshi: Karan and Kavya will also go

Gauri's eyes perked and she looked towards them who nodded.

Gauri's thought: yes......what a perfect time... everyone will be out so it will be easy for me to investigate that room.. Aunt and uncle will be in their room anyways...and chitra won't interfere anyways so in either way I'll be alone..

Sakshi: Gauri?

Suddenly she came out from her thoughts and responded

Gauri: yes maa?

Sakshi: until Kavya will come back you'll look the house and kitchen

Gauri: sure maa no worries

Neel looked towards Gauri and Neel felt something off. From past three days, he was noticing her as she remains lost in her thoughts as something is bothering her..

He was also having a feeling that something will happen today but nonetheless he decided to brush it off.

Neel's thought: today after coming back from court...I'll ask her...only today and there will be no more plans, everything will get over today..and I'll be focusing on my marriage life..

Only if Neel knows today is going to be worse day of his life and worst for gauri too..

Time skips~

After everyone left, gauri took this chance and came running towards that room while holding the key.

He inserted the key in keyhole and turned and twisted the lock. The door got opened with a click sound...

She entered in a dark room and she searched the switch board to turn on the lights.

Finally she found the switchboard and pressed the switch. The room was now enlighted and gauri looked around until her landed on the big portrait hanging on the wall...

Her world stopped for a moment when she saw the couple in the photo...

It was Neel in his wedding outfit along with a girl who was wearing wedding lehanga...and both were hugging each other.

For a moment her mind went blank as she was unable to process what the hell she saw..

Her husband with another woman?

Her gaze then went towards the another frame keeping on nightstand were of them and she got confused and shocked

She started checking the room while going through the wardrobe which was filled with clothes and accessories.

She went towards dressing table and pulled out the drawer to reveal gun which made hi gasped in horror.

She held the gun and she saw pendrive kept below the gun along with paper cuts. She kept back the gun and took the pen drive while also taking the paper cut.

She read headline of one of them

" Neel Sehgal had been allegedly reported to murder his wife Anam ratna sehgal "

She became shocked and her went wide in horror

" Police found the video of him pushing the wife from the cliff " sources are still unknown. Neel Sehgal denied everything saying he has been falsely accused. He hired a lawyer and case has been handed over to CBIs.. "

Gauri: what kind of nonsense is this...

She read another headline which was:

" Neel Sehgal won the court case and court proved him innocent but sources saying the case was hushed up while the eye witness who captured the video found dead "

Gauri read everything and then she looked towards pendrive.

She saw the setup box and inserted the pen drive and turned on the screen while taking the remote. She saw many clips in the pendrive and clicked at one of the clips.

She saw the clip of Neel throwing off Anam from cliff and gauri felt hurt and scared at the same time

Then another clip came forward which made her breath hitched and she started shaking

Neel was torturing Anam while she was being all tied up from the rod..

Tears were already brimming inside her eyes and she paused the video and came back on main screen where she saw some photos too.

She clicked on it to saw many photo of her and Nikhil in a garden, her in shop, and her single photos...

Realisation started hitting her as not everything were coincidence but a well planned trap...

Her and Neel first meet, her keep encountering him, Nikhil being arrested and breaking of her engagement, him approaching her for marriage proposal and many things...all weren't a coincidence..

She was confused, scared, hurt and many questions were flooding inside her mind.

What was his intention to approach her...what actually was his motive... why he came in her life...and most importantly the words which were spoken by him were all jokes? Were the circumambulation he took with her all lie?? Was the promises made by him all were empty??

Unable to understand anything, she grabbed her hair and started crying. She wasn't still believing that her own husband deceived her and stupid her believed at his every lies....

His own husband hides the fact that he was a married person before and Anam ratna sehgal were no one but his first wife...

She was crying when someone entered and she immediately recognised as it was none other than chitra....
