A/n pov:

Gauri came back mansion and went straight towards her room while lost in her deep thoughts.

She was about to open the door when Neel opens the door from other side and jumps behind gauri making her shocked and confused...

Gauri: Mr Sehgal what happened??

Neel: there's a c-cockroach in the room!!

Gauri: huh??

Neel: I'm scared of that damn insect!!!

She turns around and looks at him whose face was pale..

A smile started appearing on her face and she chuckles making Neel glared at her

Gauri: you are afraid of cockroach *laughs*

Neel: what's funny, everyone is afraid of something...

Gauri: I know but cockroach??

She laughs more and Neel sighs in frustration

Gauri: okay don't be mad, I'll chase it out for you..

Saying this she entered inside while neel followed her..

Gauri: where it is??

Neel: at nightstand...

She went towards the nightstands and saw that tiny creature sitting peacefully on it

She grabs a piece of cloth and slowly and carefully caught the insect inside the cloth and turns towards Neel

Gauri: see it's here now....

Neel breathed out a sigh of relief and gauri chuckles while throwing out the insect outside the window..

He coughs and regains his composure while Gauri just stares him

Neel: well....*coughs* about this-

Gauri: rest assured I won't tell this to anyone that Mr great Neel Sehgal is afraid of cockroaches...

Neel looks down in embarrassment which gauri found cute. She ruffles his hair which makes Neel shocked..

Gauri: you looks cute when you get flustered...

Neel felt his heartbeat getting fast at her words....

Neel's thought: what the hell, why my heartbeat went fast...

He screamed internally and not to further embarrass himself more, he immediately goes outside the room leaving Gauri laughing more

Time skips~
At midnight:

Gauri was in deep slumber while Neel was sitting on sofa doing some work...or rather preparing the next step for the plan..

After drafting some words, he pressed the send option and eventually looked towards Gauri...

Every step which he was taking towards his aim somehow making him feel guilty and sad as he was practically using her for his own motive

He promised himself to not to show his emotions to anyone anymore but everytime he sees gauri, he starts loosing grip on his feelings which makes him frustrated as this is not something he planned... planned to develop feelings for her..

He promised himself not to care about anyone but whenever he sees gauri's face, something inside him forces him to care about her...

He closes his laptop and got up from his seat while going towards the bed. He caresses gauri face and thought

Neel's thought: I wish we could had meet a year ago when everything was fine...

Time skips ~
Next day:

Gauri was in the kitchen with kavya helping her in making breakfast. She was taking glances of kavya who was focused on her work

She looked around to find both of them alone, she spoke

Gauri: btw di...

Kavya: hmmm..

Gauri: I know I shouldn't ask much about that room but still I want to ask something

Kavya stops her work and sighs

Kavya: go on...

Gauri: well that room is locked from how many years?

Kavya: one year I guess...

Gauri: oh....

Kavya: yes

Gauri's thought: which means that anonymous was right...
She looked at kavya who looked back at her with a smile.

Gauri: let me do this

Kavya nodded and gauri resumes helping her

Time skips~

Gauri was standing in front of that room while searching way to get inside. The room was locked with double lock system and gauri sighed in frustration

Gauri: damn it...where should I find the keys now.... whatever is behind this door I have to find it otherwise I won't be able to get into the roots of the whole truth

She was lost in her own thoughts when she felt a hand on her shoulder as she quickly turned around to see the person standing in front of her making her shocked..
