A/n pov:

After Five days:

Finally covering herself with a viel she looked herself in mirror. A smile appeared on her face as today is her wedding...

Her gaze went towards the red mark on face which almost went away...she touched that area and a faint smile appeared on her face

Flashback:

It was haldi ceremony and after applying to groom, it was now gauri's turn...swaparna was already sitting besides her while sakshi was preparing haldi thali..

She came near gauri and spoke

Sakshi: gauri beta now it's the time

She nodded and sakshi starts applying haldi on her face..

Swaparna smiled and one by one everyone starts applying haldi on her face...

Meanwhile after being coloured by haldi, Neel was talking with his guest in hall..

Suddenly his elder brother Karan comes towards him..

Karan: Neel..

Neel: Bhai..

Karan: I'm so happy for you that you are getting married

Neel didn't said anything and looks down while Karan sighs

Karan: I know this wasn't easy decision for you but more or less you had to do it in either way..

Neel: Bhai..let's not talk about those things

Karan: but Neel Gauri will be your responsibility from now on...just don't hurt her because of whatever happened with you two years ago..take care of her
Neel didn't said anything and Karan placed his hand on his shoulder

Karan: just remember not everyone in same in the world and you cannot judge the whole world because of one person..

Back to gauri:

Gauri was smiling while haldi was applying to her when suddenly she felt her cheeks getting heat up

Gauri: what's happening...

a stinging and burning sensation starts building inside her cheeks and arms while she hissed in pain..

Gauri: ouch..

Swaparna: what happened beta...

Gauri: aghh...ouch...

Swaparna: gauri.. gauri

Unable to control the pain...she got up and ran towards washroom making everyone shocked

Neel who saw her running also went behind her.

She reaches inside the washroom and starts washing her face while tears were building inside her eyes...

Neel also reached there and spoke

Neel: gauri? What happened?!

Gauri didn't listened to him as she was busy in washing her face but she was still feeling the burning sensation..
Finally Neel went towards her looked at her face and his eyes eng wide..
Her cheeks were crimson red and she was groaning in pain

Neel: hey let me see...don't rub it...

He held her face and screamed

Neel: shyam bring the ice cubes!!!!!!!

Gauri: Neel..Neel it's burning like hell..

Neel: shh calm down.. nothing will happen to you...

Shyam came with box of ice cubes and Neel immediately take those cubes

Meanwhile sakshi, swaparna and others also reached near the washroom while standing outside

Neel took the ice in a ice bag and starts tapping on her face gently..

Neel: you'll feel better soon..take a deep breath and relax

She did as he said and after sometime she started feeling better..

Neel: feeling better?

Gauri nodded and he wiped tears from her eyes while she stared her..

He then rubbed her hands with ice and a faint smile appeared on her face.

Time skips~

Doctor was checking gauri's skin and spoke

Doctor: it's possible that burning sensation happened on her skin due to red chilli powder.. someone had mixed in the haldi..

Sakshi: but how did it happened...this is the same haldi applied on Neel's skin but didn't happened anything to him..

Neel: someone mixed it after applying to me to deliberately hurt Gauri....

Saying this he came outside while yelling Chandar's name..

Flashback ends

Present time:

Gauri smiled at the fact that Neel took care of gauri after whatever happened...he always came to ask about her condition which made gauri fell in love with him more and more..

Meanwhile~

Neel was talking with chandar along with Sakshi.

Neel: chandar keep your eyes open during wedding since there's a possibility person who harmed gauri before must be planning something to do in wedding too

Chandar: rest assured boss..our men are on alert and keeping eyes on every activities

Neel: good I don't want any disturbance in wedding

Sakshi: but I don't understand one thing..who dared to interfere in our plan..

Neel: whoever it is mom..I won't let him/her ruin our plan.

Sakshi: we are at our last stage of plan and after that we'll be able to get what we wanted..
