ONE YEAR LATER...
Somewhere deep up in the floating mountains of the Pandora. the Omaticaya Clan were getting ready to head out towards a train which they were going to raid. Kyra stood by her father as she got his Pa'li ready for the battle. He was conversing with the lead rider of the raid. Kyra once sure the saddle was secure on the Pa'li stood in front of the Pa'li petting its snout. Kyra felt worry and fear build up in her gut. All different possibilities on how her father could not come back from this raid swarmed through her head. As if sensing his daughters distress Norm excused himself from the conversation.
"I'll be fine." Norm told his daughter. Kyra turned towards her father looking up at him with worried eyes. "How do you know?" Kyra asked. "Because I have something to make sure I make it back home." Norm told her with a smile. "What is that?" Kyra asked. "You." Norm said. Kyra hugged her father tightly. "Now go check on the others with the Ikrans." Norm told his daughter ushering her off.
Kyra walked off weaving through the people before she stopped seeing Lo'ak and Neteyam with their Ikrans. "So, your dad finally let you fly a mission?" Kyra said making Lo'ak and his brother turn around. "Yeah!" Lo'ak said proudly. Kyra smiled softly looking up at the messed-up saddle on his Ikran. "Well, I hope you're not going to ride your Ikran like that Lo'ak." Kyra laughed before going over to the creature and fixing the saddle.
Neteyam laughed softly at his brothers embarrassed face. Kyra turned back towards the two gathering them both in her arms. "Be safe and be careful." Kyra let go of the brothers before heading off. She felt the gaze of one of the brothers on her back but didn't turn to see which one it was. Kyra watched as the war party took off sending a silent prayer to Eywa to keep her family safe. Kyra went over to the spot where the weapons were kept. She grabbed a bow and arrow and headed towards the targets. She shot a couple practice shots trying to improve her aim.
After that she walked around trying to find her brother and Kiri. She narrowly missed a running Tuk who was running around playing with a toy. "Tuk where is Spider and Kiri?" Kyra asked the child. "In the hut." Tuk replied before taking off again. Kyra headed off in the direction. She entered the hut seeing Kiri paint her brother in blue paint. "Need some help bro." Kyra asked. Spider looked at his sister with a smile. "You know it doesn't matter what color your skin his you're always going to be my brother." Kyra told Spider as she dipped her hands in the paint before applying it on his skin. "I know but when the animals see the blue, they don't think of me as human." Spider spoke.
"Skxawng." Kiri said with a small laugh. "Wait your human!" Kyra said pulling back with a small gasp. "Haha!" Spider laughed mockingly before flicking paint at the two. The two jumped back at the wet paint. Suddenly a horn sounded through the air and Tuk came barreling towards them. "They're coming! Kyra Spider Kiri! The War Party is coming back!"
We all stood up hurrying out of the hut. I followed the others seeing Jake scolding Neteyam and Lo'ak. I grabbed Neteyam's arm looking at his injured form along with Kiri. "Kiri can you go help your grandmother with the wounded?" Jake said. "My brother is wounded." Kiri retorted. "Just go please! Kyra and Tuk go with her please!" Jake said. Tuk huffed as Kiri took her hand. Neteyam followed shortly after us. Neteyam sat down his back facing Mo'at as she applied the medicine on his wounds. "Ow!" Neteyam cried out each time. Lo'ak came in having finished his punishment. "I would use Yalnabark." Kiri said bringing more bowls over to her grandmother. "Oh you would? And who is the Tsahik here?" Mo'at asked. "You are- Move." Kiri said shoving Lo'ak out of the way. Kyra watched wincing at Neteyam's cries. It did not look pleasant at all.
Spider, Kiri, Lo'ak and Kyra all left heading to the human labs. Kiri wanted to see her birth mother and Kyra wanted to check on her father. "Hey! Spider!" Norm called out whacking Spider with a towel. "Your ass is mine!" Spider said jumping from the attack pointing at him as he walked past. "I'm right here!" Norm said holding his hands up in challenge toothbrush in his mouth. Kyra walked up to her dad's avatar circling him checking him for injuries. "I'm fine Kyra! Go with your friends. I will see with I link back." Norm said shooing his daughter off. Kyra rolled her eyes but smiled and ran off to catch up with her friends. "Those blue stripes don't make you any bigger bro." Lo'ak taunted. "Yea well I can still kick your ass." Spider replied opening the door of the lab. "Sure, you can brother sure." Kyra said sarcastically. As they entered the lab the Na'vi kids grabbed their masks while Spider took off his.
"Haha yea very funny but you know what really sucks? The fact that you can breathe the air in here for hours while I can only breathe your air for 10 seconds." Spider said. "Yea that must really suck for you." Kiri said. Spider grabbed Kiri and Kyra's tails and they turned around. They hissed at each other playfully before Kyra spotted her dad. Kyra walked over to her dad now towering over him. Spider gave a fist bump to his foster father while Kyra checked her father's human body as well. "I'm still fine Kyra. You worry too much." Norm said. Kyra bended down as she now towered over her father's human body. "You look like your mother, act like her too sometimes." Norm said putting his hand on Kyra's check. Kyra smiled leaning into her father's touch. "Speaking of which here you go Kiri." Norm said turning away from his daughter and pulling up Grace's video logs. Kyra walked over to where two tubes were resting. Inside these tubes were avatar bodies that once belonged to Kyra and Kiri's mothers. Kyra swung herself up on to her mother's tube. "Hey momma." Kyra said. Kyra took a breath out her mask watching her mother's avatar body twitch a bit in the tube.
"So, who do you think knocked her up?" Lo'ak asked as we all watched Grace's video logs. "Pretty sure it that science guy right there?" Lo'ak said pointing at the guy in the video. Honestly, the guy in the video wasn't all that attractive but he did seem to be trying to get close to Grace in the video." Kyra hopped off her mother's tank coming to stand by Kiri. "You do not deserve to live." Kiri said. "Come on think about it right? You see that guy in the videos a lot so he must be a teacher's pet and therefore is at the lab with her all time." Lo'ak said. "I would kill myself. I would drink acid." Kiri replied. "Bro your right! He is like in every shot! Look he is giving her looks!" Spider said laughing. "Spider!" Kyra scolded nudging him slightly. Spider ceased his laughing.
"See I'm thinking their two avatars went out in the woods all alone." Lo'ak said putting a hand on his chest dramatically. "That is gross Lo'ak!" Kyra said with a smile as Kiri shoved him playfully. "Guys! Sometimes it's not great to know who your father is." Spider said. Kyra's ears flattened as she looked her brother's sad expression. "Whatever, I don't even remember him." Spider said turning around. "Spider." Lo'ak said. "Dude." Spider spoke. "You are not him." Kiri said standing behind him. "She is right. You are brother blue skin or not and nothing will change that." Kyra said coming beside him bending her head towards him catching his eyes. Spider smiled at his sister. Even only they knew what would happen next.
