Kyra yipped and called out in happiness as she, Spider, Lo'ak, Kiri, and Tuk all jumped across the floating pieces of rubble of the floating mountains. "Go Monkey Boy!" Kiri yelled out to Spider as he hopped along with them although not as gracefully. "Guys wait for me!" Tuk called out but was ignored. They all descended into the forest and were exploring. Tuk stopped enchanted by a purple flower with tendrils swirling around. Tuk stuck her hand and the tendrils tickled and sucked on her hand causing her to giggle. "Tuk! Keep up!" Lo'ak called from ahead frustrated. "Okay!" Tuk said joining the group. "Dude why did you bring her?" Spider asked. "She is such a crybaby. She's all I'm telling. Your not supposed to go to the old battlefield I'll tell mom if you don't let me come!" Lo'ak said mocking Tuk as she stuck out her tongue at him from behind Kyra. Kyra giggled softly. "Don't pick on her." Kiri told her brother.
Kyra jumped up on a few low trees seeing an old human battleship. "Guys! Come check this out!" Kyra called out to the others. Kyra thought it looked like those ships her mother flew. "Sick!" Spider said. "Are there any dead bodies up there?" Tuk called from below. "I hope not!" Kyra muttered to herself. Kyra touched the metal of the ship. Kyra closed her eyes her hand still resting on the ship. A soft wind blew, and a voice seemed to whisper in her ear. She couldn't make out what they were saying but felt a warm feeling wash over her. She was snapped out of her trance by an arm shaking her. "Kyra! Kyra!" Kyra turned her head seeing Lo'ak looking at her. She noticed a few Atokirina floating nearby. Kyra took her hand off the ship. "Are you okay?" Lo'ak asked. "Yea I'm fine. Where's Kiri and Spider?" Kyra asked noticing the absence of her friend and brother.
"Kiri wandered off and Spider went to look for her come on." Lo'ak told her and started hopping off the tree towards the ground. Kyra followed after him. "There they are!" Kyra said spotting them in a field. "Come on we have to get back." Kyra called out the two. We were heading back when Lo'ak paused inspecting something on the ground. It was a footprint. "That is way too big for a human." Lo'ak said. "Avatars?" Spider asked. "Maybe but I don't think dad ever comes out this far." Kyra told him. Lo'ak took off in the direction of the footprints. "What are you doing?" Kiri asked. "Shh, tracking." Lo'ak replied. "I do not have a good feeling about this Lo'ak." Kyra told him as she followed.
We looked through the bushes to see a vine covered shack and some avatars standing before. "We are never supposed to come here. Dad is going to ground you." Kiri said looking at the scene. "Shh, stop!" Lo'ak said annoyed. "For life." Kiri said looking at him. "Bro we have got to check this out." Lo'ak said to Spider motioning his head to get closer. "Spider Lo'ak no!" Kyra whispered to them worriedly. "I'll be fine sis." Spider said before getting closer. I hissed quietly annoyed at my brother and friend's stupidity. Kyra's tail swished anxiously as she waited for them to return. Up ahead Spider and Lo'ak looked at the intruders.
"Dude that is where your dad and my dad fought." Spider whispered. "That's your dad's actual suit." Lo'ak replied. "I gotta call this in." Lo'ak said heading back towards Kyra and the others. "Dude no we are going to get in trouble." Spider said following after him. As they joined back with the rest Kyra pulled Spider closer to her not liking this place. Especially what had transpired here in the past. Lo'ak pressed the com button on his neck. Devil Dog this is Eagle Eye over." Kyra put in one of her mics in her ear allowing her to hear what was being said. "Eagle Eye send your traffic." Jake's voice flooded through the ear mic. "I got eyes on some guys, they look like avatars but they're in full camo and carrying ARs. There's six of them over." Lo'ak said. "What's pops over." Jake asked. Lo'ak hesitated before responding. "We're at the old shack." "Who's we?" Jake asked. "Me, Spider, Kyra, Kiri and,..Tuk." Lo'ak said reluctantly saying the last part.
"Son, you listen to me very carefully, pull back right now. Do not make a sound get the hell out of there." Jake said. You could hear the clear anger in his voice. "Copy." Lo'ak replied and they all left. Tuk ran ahead of them. "Tuk don't go so far ahead!" Kyra said running up next to Tuk. Kyra grabbed Tuk's hand. "Come! It's almost eclipse!" Tuk said pulling Kyra a bit. Suddenly the avatars from earlier burst out from the bushes. One grabbed Tuk while shoving Kyra into another's arms before she could even try to defend herself. Spider hissed seeing his sister in danger drawing his bow but more of the avatars came easily overpowering the Na'vi teens. Lo'ak dropped his weapon and managed to get Spider to drop his as well. Kyra struggled against her captor hissing furiously. "Stop struggling." Kyra's captor said pulling her queue harshly.
"Kiri!" Tuk cried out for her sister. "Calm sister." Kiri said to her. One whom Kyra guessed was the leader came out looking at all of them. "Well, what do we have here?" The leader looked at all of them curiously. "Colonel look here four fingers. We got a half-breed." The one holding Kiri said showing her hands. "Shit." Kyra heard Spider mumble. Kyra's hand was brought up too. "This one is a half-breed too boss." The leader after looking at Kiri went over to Lo'ak. "Show me your fingers." Kyra never wanted to slap her friend so badly. Lo'ak held up his fingers giving him the middle finger while doing so. "You're his." The leader said. Lo'ak hissed. "You're his alright." The leader grinned. He then grabbed Lo'ak's queue harshly causing him to cry out. "Where is he?" He demanded." "I don't speak English with idiots." Lo'ak replied. "Where is your father?" The leader replied patience gone. Kyra started struggling harder her mother's fighting spirit coming through. She reminds me of that pilot." (A/N: I know they won't have many memories of Trudy but in this part their talking about before the battle). Kyra's captor commented chucking at the struggling teen in his arms.
The leader turns towards Kyra only then noticing the resemblance. Although not having many memories of that pilot he sure did remember how much a pain she was. "She does doesn't she?" The leader said knife in hand. He came towards her with the knife causing all the teens to cry out but none more than Spider. "Hey! Hey! Get away from her! Stop!" Spider struggled. The leader turned towards the human boy curiously. He made a motion with his which caused the avatar that was holding him to let go. "Who might you be?" The leader asked. "Spider. Socorro." Spider replied. "Miles?" The leader asked. It was then Kyra knew who this was. This was Spider's real dad or a form of him anyway. "Nobody calls me that." Spider replied glaring at his no called father. "Well Damn I figured they sent you back to Earth." Quaritch spoke. "Can't put babies in cryo dipshit." Spider spat. "Brother! Brother!" Kyra called out worried for her brother. She only knew a bit of English. Quaritch who understood Na'vi chuckled hearing the teens words. "Brother huh?" Quaritch motioned for the avatar to take ahold of Spider once again.
Quaritch called to the General for extraction. Kyra was placed beside Spider on the ground. "No matter what we will get through this together brother." Kyra spoke her tail laying on his leg as she could not take his hand as they were both cuffed. Spider smiled at her. Spider's attention was drawn to a video they were watching. He watched Ney'tiri kill his father. He wasn't sure how to feel. He only hoped they would all make it out.
