Merlyn: 'Oh My God!😶'

The person before her was none other than the heir of the great Emerald Corp - Derek Jackson.

Never in her life did she think she would cross paths with this person. She quickly gathered the rest of her things with his help and stood up.

Merlyn: " Uh....thank you for your help"

Derek: " It's fine. After all it was because of me that you were in this mess, so it was right that I helped you. Anyway I think I have to go now, I hope you're alright?"

Meryln: " Yeah I'm alright , thank you for worrying about me. Then....bye...?"

Derek: " bye, hope you have a good day."

Meryln: " You too."

Derek leaves, leaving Meryln to her thoughts. Suddenly....

Vivian:" Earth to Merry "

Merlyn: " Huh...."

Vivian: "I see you had a bit of a fantasy moment back there but there's no time to waste or else we'll be late for the attendance. So come back to reality and hurry..."

Meryln: " Yeah...."

They both went to their homeroom.

Meanwhile......

Jake: "What was that?...."

Derek: "What?"

Nick (Nicholas): "What was that scene we just witnessed now?"

Derek: "What scene?"

Jake: "You being nice to that girl just now. It's so not you......."

Nick: "That's right. From what I remember you treated girls as if they were disgusting and a waste of time. So why were you being nice to that girl? Did you hit your head or something? Or wait...... ARE YOU AN IMPOSTOR?!"

Derek: "Wha-"

Jake: * grabs Derek'scollar*" WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DID YOU DO TO OUR DEREK?!"

Florian: "CUT IT OUT GUYS. What he did was because he was the one to bump into her shoulder so he just helped her out because of guilt. Anyways it's time for us to go to our class. Even though we make money, we need to have proper education so don't you dare slack off on your studies...."

Jake and Nick: "Yes Mom!!!"

Florian: "Why you lil-"

Jake and Nicholas runs away......

Derek:* chuckles * " let's go to our class. I'll meet you guys later, bye "

Florian: " bye"

Timeskip

Meryln POV

I and Vivi reached our class.
Vivian: "Hey those seats near the windows are good, let's go sit there."

"Ok..."

We sat on our seats Vivi infront of me. I decided to take a short nap as there was 10 minutes left for the teacher to come. I heard the chair in the next column near mine move with a slight screech indicating that someone was seated there so I ignored it and continued my nap. When I heard that the teacher has entered I raised my head and stood to greet her like everyone else and then sat with her giving permission. She introduced herself as Mrs. Taylor and asked us to give a short intro of ourselves.

One by one students started to introduce themselves and then it was the turn of the person next to me. That's when I realized it was again Derek. Wait...DEREK JACKSON IS MY CLASSMATE!!! AND ALSO HE'S SITTING THE OPPOSITE OF ME!!!

Derek: " Hi , I'm Derek Jackson. I'm sure many of you here know me so I'll cut this short. It's great to be with you all. Thank you "

Mrs. Taylor: " Miss Merlyn "

"Yes"

Mrs. Taylor: " It's Your turn now "

" Ok. Hello , I'm Merlyn Woodz. It's nice to meet you all . I hope we all can get along well in the future. Thank you."

A week passed with nothing special happening. It was the weekend and Meryln and her brother were chilling and watching their favorite anime when the doorbell rang.

Mikhail: " Pause the ep, I'll go get the door. "

Meryln: " Ok."
Mikhail: ( at the door) "Oh hey nick "

Nick: " Hey Mikhail , is Merry here?"

Mikhail: " Yes she is. Why don't you come inside?"

Nick: " yea"

Mikhail: " Merry! Nick is here to see you "

Merlyn: "Coming!"
" Hi Nick. Is something wrong?"

Nick: " Nah but hey I've brought you a new gig"

Meryln: "For what?"

Nick: "You still play drums right?"

Meryln: "Yes, what about it?"

Nick: "You know about my band right....Redshades..."

Meryln: "Well yes..."

Nick: "So mm... We're trying to look for a new drummer and..........................."

Merlyn: "WHAT?!"
