NIRMAN'S RESIDENCE

It was a small duplex in the premises of ISRC itself. Thanks to the post of Director of ISRC, his duplex was fully furnished and well maintained. Nirman and Arohi entered inside. Arohi was busy checking out the whole flat.

"Go to sleep now tomorrow you can examine the whole flat." Said Nirman.

Arohi nodded and followed Nirman upstairs. There Nirman opened the door of a room painted fully in pink.

"This is your room. We will arrange this room tomorrow. Take rest now. You must be tired. And yes any work my room is just downstairs. Just call me and I will be there." Nirman said affectionately.

Arohi-"sure brother."

Nirman-"and yes I have already kept water in the room so don't go out of the room alone at night. Close the windows and balcony gate properly."

Arohi-"aye aye captain. Now you go and take rest. I will change and sleep. Good night."

Nirman went away, but not before checking whether the windows and balcony are locked properly or not, and closing the door of her room, wishing a good night to his li'l fairy.

Arohi opened her bag and went to change. She came back and opened the balcony door.

"Bhai also na..... he is so much tensed about me. He thinks I am still that 5 year old girl who will get lost. But I love this care and pampering from him. Only my heart knows how much I missed this love from him over past two years. C'mon Arohi now you better sleep or else bhai will come upstairs all worried seeing the lights of your room still on." She smiled and went to bed, not before grabbing her novel from her bag.

Here Aryan was on his way to his room, when he saw shadow of a girl on the wall. He looked up to find Arohi standing in the balcony of Nirman's flat.

Aryan-"Sumit and Joy were right. Nirman is keeping his girlfriend with him." He came to the conclusion and went back to his room.

Here Arohi tucked herself nicely in the bed and started reading the novel.

3:00 AM NIGHT

Nirman was still awake, sitting on his rocking chair. Dressed in track pant and tshirt, he was looking at a picture album, containing pictures of a girl of 5 and a boy of 15. He closed the album and kept it aside.

"How soon time flies by? My li'l sister has grown so big. I will never be able to explain you why I am so protective for you. You are my life-line Aru. I am afraid that my enemies may try to harm you for their profit, that was why I kept you away for two years and I did not come to meet you, so that they don't come to know about your whereabouts. But now that I cannot stay away from you anymore. I will keep you here with me and protect you from any and everything"

Thinking so he came near the window and looked upwards, "hope I am taking good care of your daughter Mumma. I am keeping my promise that I gave you on your death bed. I will never let her know the truth. That is my promise. I will keep my only family, Aru, safe and happy always. I know you must be thinking I have spoiled her, but pampering her and making her happy, gives me satisfaction of being a good brother. Hope I am being one."

He had tears welling up, he came out of his room and went towards Arohi's room.

He opened the door and found her sister in deep sleep.

"Just as I had expected." He shook his head, and looked at his sister who was sleeping with her head on bed rack, instead of pillow and novel in her hand. He went up to her took the novel and made her sleep properly with her head on pillow, all the while making sure he does not disturb her sleep. He then covered her with duvet.

"Keep smiling my angel. I will make sure that smile is always there on your face." He said looking at the the smile on sleeping Arohi's face.

After being sure that Arohi is sleeping peacefully, Nirman wemt to his room and slept.

NEXT MORNING

Next morning was a late one for Nirman. He woke up at 6:00 am instead of 4:00 am, and the reason was because he slept near 3:00 am itself. He woke up and went to Arohi's room just to witness her sleeping properly. He got ready and entered his cabin at sharp 9:00 am as per his schedule. He had his regular breakfast and got busy kn checking the file submitted by the Team previous night.

Around 9:30 Arohi woke up, and came down just to find the hall empty. She went to Nirman's room but found a sticky note in the door. It contained message from Nirman.

"Good morning, hope my beta had a good sleep. Ohk so now I have left for my office. Your breakfast will reach in the flat itself, just call the Restr-o-Bar and order your breakfast. Get ready and make sure to call me after having your breakfast. Remember I will come to know if you skip your breakfast, so no cheating. Have a good day. And yes I had my breakfast, so don't take tension."

After reading the note Arohi smiled, "how lucky I am Bhagwanji to be blessed with such a loving bro, who is my mom,dad, friend and everything. He cares fof me so much. Thank you Bhagwanji and yes Good morning."

Then she made a call to Restr-o-Bar and ordered breakfast for herself, and went to get ready.

Soon she came out all dressed up, meanwhile the breakfast also arrived and she fed her stomach to full.

"So I have completed my morning routine, done with my breakfast, now? Oh yes I need to call bro. But wait why to call when I can just go and greet him. Good idea Aru. Bhai will be so happy to see me. Waise bhi I have stayed away from him long enough, now no more" She smiled and patted her back.
