I was dreading this question for a long time. Becky, Sanyu, Randhir, Sanaya everyone asked me this question but I always avoided it somehow. But now it was Bhai.

CHAPTER 15

ARYAN'S P.O.V.

I could see Arohi's body getting tensed on hearing Nirman sir's question. But why? Did Arjun came and threatned Arohi while I and Nirman sir was away? He can't do that and of he had done anything like this I am gonna smash his face. But Arohi is not among those girls who will get threatened easily . Then why is her face looking so disturbed?

Arohi-"Bhai I don't wamt to talk about it now. Please can we talk later?"

Nirman-"why Aru are you afraid? Then don't be, I promise no one will harm you. Your brother is there to protect you."

Arohi-"seriously bhai? If you have forgotten I am Arohi.... Arohi Nambiar, the girl who witnessed the murder of her Mom and Dad infront of her eyes. You think I will be afraid? Is that all you know about me?" Nirman was hurt because it was probably the first time in all these years that Arohi had mentioned that incident to him.

I flinched at her sudden confession. I never knew this. Yes I researched on her personal life, but not her childhood, just her academics, college and social life. I never knew she witnessed the murder of her parents.

Nirman-"Aru?" He stammered.

Arohi-"I .... I am sorry bhai. I just got carried away. You..."

Nirman-"its ohk Aru. I understand. Let me go and talk to doctor." Saying so he left.

I could see tears streaming down her eyes, I can do everything but comfort anyone.

"Aru... I mean Arohi, please"

It was like she suddenly noticed my presence.

Arohi-"I am sorry, it was just.." she tried hideing her tears. I don't know what took over me, it was like my hands automatically found its way towards her eyes and wiped those tears away. We both were staring in each other eyes, trying to decipher those hidden emotions.

AFTER FEW WEEKS

AUTHOR'S P.O.V.

Days passed to that incident, now Arohi was out of the medical room. Things had changed since then, Arohi and Aryan had began to hangout together abit, whereas there was a bit of strain in Nirman and Arohi's relation. It was like a new relation was budding, while the old one was getting rusted.

The encounters between Arohi and Aryan were not completly formal nor completely informal. It was at an ease from Arohi's side but things weren't the same with Aryan, who was feeling a bit shy infront of her.

WORK STATION

Arohi entered the work station to find everyone working.

Arohi-"hello everyone"

But others were too busy to hear her.

Arohi-"I said HELLLLOOOOOOOO"

Sumit-"uff Arohi its you, you made got me scared. You could have greeted us in low tone also"

Arohi-"yes I could have, and I also did but you deaf people. Well leave it. Its time for lunch so lets go." Yes after that incident Arohi and Nirman avoided each other to the extent of not even eating luch together, but that does not mean Nirman cared less about her. He made sure she had her meals and her health was fine.

Joy-"actually its lunch time and we cam have food" he jumped in joy.

Randhir-"shit up Joy. We need to finish the work, and you have a large part left till now."

Sananya-"but shekhu its lunch time."

Sanyukta-"maybe its luch time sanaya but we cannot go to have lunch as we need to submit report by 5:00pm and it is already 2:30pm. Sorry Arohi as much as we want to come, we cannot."

This whole time if someone was acting all ignorant was Aryan. He was too busy in his work to care for what was happening.

Arohi scrunched her nose and diaplayed her disappointment.

Arohi-"let me bring something here." She suggested.

Randhir-"no Arohi. We know you care, but its just that it will distract us, please sorry yaar manage a day."

Arohi nodded and left the work station quietly.

AFTER FEW HOURS.

AROUND 4:00pm

Aryan was walkin outside ISRC when he heard a whining sound. He followed it and came near bushes. He went around to find a girl sitting on the grass crying.
