CHAPTER 11

It was a long night everybody was sitting outside praying for Arohi's good health, but there was a soul who was more worried about her.

Two days have passed to that incident but Arohi was still not out of danger. Though it had been just a few days that Arohi had arrived in ISRC, but her bubbly nature just made everyone love her in those few days.

Nirman Nambiar, the man of words, did not let the work halt at ISRC. He carried out all his duties and daily routine without fail. He was that strong Director of ISRC during working hours, but as the working hours used to get over he would become that vulnarable brother praying for his sister.

"What do you mean by cctv footage is missing?" Roared Nirman's voice through the landline, "I don't care how you get it? But I want the cctv footage at my desk in next 2 hours. I won't let that person live in peace, who put my sister in this condition."

Yes, Nirman was also secretly carrying out the investigation about the person who was behind Arohi's miserable condition.

IN A ROOM

"what if sir comes to know about that I was behind all this fiasco?" Arjun thought.

"Nothing much he will just rip out your throat and kill you." Came Aryan's voice.

"You? How come you are in my room?" Arjun shouted.

Aryan-"no no keep your voice down, because if I raised my voice you won't even realise what will be your condition? You wanna experience it? Let me show you" and he started going out.

Arjun-"you won't be able to prove anything. There is no proof against me."

Aryan-"is that so?" He coacked up his brows, "well then let it be so." He smirked and went away. He straight away went to see medical room. He used to visit Arohi thrice everyday. Don't know why but he felt a strong connection with her.

MEDICAL ROOM

ARYAN'S P.O.V.

It has been three nights and two days since she is in this bed, unconcious. According to doctor it is normally impossible for anyone to live so long after being in such condition, they really admire her fighting spirit, why only they? I also admire her. I have never seen a girl with so strong determination.

"Hi Arohi.... I see, you are still sleeping. C'mon wake up now. How can you sleep for so long? I knew Nirman sir has spoiled you, but I never knew you are a lazy bug. Where is that I am so great Arohi Nambiar who fought with me on the very first day? Have you ever thought about Nirman sir? He is waiting for you to wake up." I said.

Wait ! Why am I concerned about her? I don't know. Its called humanity, I guess.

Arohi Nambiar, a genius in literature, topper of university in London, pampered and protected sister of Nirman Nambiar, loves to live carefree, never give damn about society. In short an unstoppable tornado. Oh and a big fan of Dark Shadow, keeps all the history if cases solved by him, intresting she fights with me, and also admires me. This is all I came to know about her from my research, but I do have a feeling there is something more to her. I can just feel it, I want to know that something more.

My cell rang breaking my trance, "hello.. ohk I am coming." I kept the cell back and looked at her sleeping figure, " Looks like I need to go Arohi. Duty calls. Time to become Dark Shadow, Aryan."

I went away from there.

AROHI'S P.O.V.

"Aru? Please get up bacha. Your Bhai needs you. You promised me you will not leave me like mom-dad. Its you who says promises are meant to be kept, so now keep your promise and come back baby girl. Mumma papa has not called for you yet. You need to live for your bhai."

"Bhai, where is mumma and papa?"

"Aru I told you that mumma and papa has gone to your Bhagwanji."

"But When will they come back?"

"They won't return Aru."

"But why?" Tears started forming in those little eyes, "please Bhai bring back Mumma and Papa. I promise I will never act stubborn or ask for anything. Bhai I miss Mumma's food and Papa playing with me. Why have they left me? Am I not a good girl?"

"Shhhh Aru you are just the best girl in this world. Its just Mumma and Papa were too tired, so your Bhagwanji gave them peace and a permanent place in his house."

"If mumma and papa are going to live permanently with Bhagwanji, then I am also going to live with them at Bhagwanji's house."

"Aru No. Don't you ever say that again." He shouted

"Aru.. baby.. listen to me. See mumma and papa have already left me, now if you also go I will be all alone. Do you want your brother to stay lonely?"

"Then you also come with me Bhai."

"No we can't Aru. Mumma and Papa has asked us not to come there untill they call us. You are good girl right?" the girl nodded, "so you won't disobey mumma and papa" she nodded again.

"I promise bhai I will not leave you and go anywhere. I love you bhai." And she hugged him.

"I love you too Aru. Now come I will make some pasta for you. Completly Aru and Nirman bhai style"

"Yippeee" clapped the girl.

I felt something wet on my hand. Is bhai crying? No don't cry bhai. Please don't. I wanted to speak those words out but I couldn't.

"I know my baby is not weak to give up so easily. You need to wake up Aru. I am going for a meeting and by the time I come back I want you to be awake. Do you hear me, I WANT YOU AWAKE." Said bhai.

Haha still ordering. So much attitude bhai, don't worry I will wake up.

After bhai went away I was again surrounded by silence, but it was broken by noise of footsteps. I knew this sound, he is the other person who has been visiting me more than once a day, other than bhai. I wonder why is he concerned so much?

Aryan- "Hi Arohi.... I see, you are still sleeping. C'mon wake up now. How can you sleep for so long? I knew Nirman sir has spoiled you, but I never knew you are a lazy bug. Aah so much concern for me? Is he really concerned or is he faking all this to impress bhai and gain a promotion?
I heard a cell ring.

"hello.. ohk I am coming." the call was cut I guess. I heard him speak again " Looks like I need to go Arohi. Duty calls. Time to become Dark Shadow, Aryan."

And I heard the footsteps retiring back from the room.

Wait! Did he just say 'Dark Shadow'? Does that mean Mr. Akdu Aryan is kind Dark Shadow? I want to know the answers now.

I had heard curiousity kills but it happened opposite in my case. I don't know how but it gave me a strength and I could see light around me. I was surrounded by beeping machines, lying on a hospital bed. Finally I opened my eyes.

Wohoo so Arohi is awake and so is Aryan's little secret. What do you think will happen next? What will happen with Arjun? How will others react? What will be relation between Aryan and Arohi now?
