THREE YEARS LATER, MAKOTO AND SOUSUKE IS NOW NINETEEN.

Makoto was now mostly a medic in his new unit and he kinda gets along with them all. They say they all a big happy family but makoto dont feel like that, he keeps a distance from them. He also found out his new unit are all from the same home town and was childhood friends who joined up to protect their home. Makoto found it very sweet and he also found out sousuke was a childhood friend to one of them and just normal friends with the rest. 

Makoto found it strange since they joined at the age 18 and was all put with makoto and sousuke. The unit is all the same age and he just finds it freaky how lucky they all were but he bets sousuke did something to make this happen. They been in the same unit for a year now and did many missions with each other, they made use of makoto gifts to hear others coming before anyone else could or to read the eyes of others. The only problem this made most of the camp scared of him or see him as a freak, even his unit it grateful to have him work with them but they dont really look at makoto when talking or at all. 

You thinking its been three years so i must have had found a new clue about Normal right. No your wrong, i went though all the files and did find her photo but time i got to the town she was seen in, she was already gone without a trace. I been working hard to find her but luck and the captain not on my side. Oh why dont i tell you a little about my new unit I'm in and what they do. 

SOUSUKE - he cold and men but kinda handsome - just a strong soldier, who everyone in the unit looks up to and he always make sure we come back alive. 

MAKOTO - from an unknown tribe, dont ware much but has a great smile - mostly to keep everyone alive during the mission and warn them if he hears the enemy.

HARU - dont show much emotion but seems caring - he our sniper. 

RIN - shark and he will bite if you piss him of - he our leader during a mission.

NAGISA - short, hyper, like a kid and will always be cheerful - he our radio man.

REI - he smart but boring and strick like a mum - stays in base and reports how are mission is going or give us help if we radio him during trouble.

KISMUI - playboy, idiot, laughs a lot and loves to wind up rin or haru - he just a normal soldier with ok skills and loves to throw bombs. 

This is the new unit i been placed in, they all seem ok and nice but i dont really fit it. I know they dont look at me out of fear of me reading them and they hate i can tell when they near by, just because of my skills. They live in the outside world all their lives and had normal lives, while i just lived in the tribe then got sent to war so i dont really know much or understand much. It makes me seem uncool since i wont understand most jokes or anything to do outside of a battle.

Sousuke got used to my skills and always looks at me when he talking to me. Its nice since no one else do but i hate how he laughs at how i dress. I already told him so many times i feel more comfy like this but no he still laughs. He annoying but i guess i can call him a friend, I'm sure Norma would like him since he wired. He even helps me out with others in camp are trying to prank me or attack me but since i always hear them way before they come if makes them fear me more. I sometimes lets them hit me or throw water over me just so they accept me but they never will.

The captain i tried to kill comes and goes to our base often and i hardly see him. I dont even think the rest in my unit have even met him. Every time he comes to our base he seems to always hide or run away when he knows I'm looking for him. what a dick. 

WITH MAKOTO AND THE REST OF HIS UNIT, OUTSIDE THE UNIT TENTS. 

"is it from gou, what happening in her life now" haru ask as he lays on the ground looking to the sky. "she got a date this weekend and says she go out with him if all goes well so have fun being so far away. Oh and all our parents are meeting up for a lunch next week to discus want to send over to us" rin said as he reads his weekly letter from his little sister. "she really enjoying the face your not home to mess up her dates, how many do this make now" kisumi asked with a grin and rin hissed at him. "nagisa stop trying to read my letter, its from my parents not yours" rei said annoyed as the normal hyper nagisa was jumping around trying to see rei letter from his parents, he only gets one once a month since they both busy. "oh but I'm bored and no one willing to play with me" nagisa pouts and rei just reads his letter not caring. 

I sit on my log, i call it my special log because it saved my life two years ago. One soldier who seemed to remember me as the enemy tried shooting me for revenger on whoever was killed and this log took the wild bullet, so now i keep it as my chair and everyone knows it mine.

"did you find anything" i ask as i hear sousuke trying to sneak up on me, he tries every time he thinks I'm day dreaming but always fail. With me speaking and calling the soldier everyone respects and love name everyone turns to behind me. "crap, i thought i got you this time and you say your were the weakest in your tribe" Sousuke pouts and sits on his log next to mine passing me a cuppa, what I'm happy to take. "yep but no one else was born with the same skills, I needed them to survive for being the weakest" i say and sousuke frowns while everyone stares at him.

"so did you hear the news yet" Sousuke ask turning to me and i look at him, trying to work it out but pout when i cant. "what news" i pout making him laugh. "a couple of soldiers who was working on the border, said they saw a girl who pretty but they never seen someone like her, she crossed into the enemy land sadly" sousuke said and my eyes become wide. "like me" i ask and he nods. "she got the same tan and speak the same accent as you, she even seems to not ware much either" Sousuke smiled and i stand up with a smile. "they should be at the tents three units down" he says and i begin to run, i might have found a new clue.

"are you the unit who was working at the border today" i ask and they all turn to me with disgust. "we dont talk to monsters" a older soldier hissed. "did you see a girl who like me, please she important to me" i beg and the younger soldier nodded making me smile. "she had the same tan, dark pretty hair, wearing less cloths like a tribe and speaks with the same accent" i ask and the boy nods again making me grin. "do you know what town she was going to" i ask and they all turn to me again but instead of hated they were shocked. "she was heading to the town, you being sent to in the morning" another soldier said and my eyes widen. I nod and head back to my unit area. 

The town we heading to tomorrow is to be a battle. A group of the enemy have taken over the town and using its people as hostages, we being send to kill them all or let them surrender. Why would she be taken there or even going. Will i see her again or will she die by my own hands. Can i stop the mission or will i just have to pray she be alive after the battle. Makoto made his way to his unit area but went straight to his tent. It was placed a little further away and at the edge of their area since he could only sleep like that. He laid down hoped luck with bless him for his wish.

Makoto woke up during the night when he heard footsteps come his way, he was a little sleepy so couldn't tell if he knew them or not and just stat up with his knife in hand. "dont stab me, i  dont look good bloody" Sousuke says outside my tent and i climb out. "did i wake up late" i ask as i stretch and he shakes his head. "what happened" he ask and i look to my feet, should i tell him. He has been kind to me and helped me so much but what if he keeps me in base because i might worry over Norma or be a danger to the mission. "makoto" he asked with a lower voice and in turn to him. "promise not to pull me of tomorrow mission or tell the rest" i ask and he nods, i look into his eyes to know he telling the truth. Then i tell him what i was told, he becomes shocked and pained. He couldn't say anything back or try to cheer me up. We said our nights and just went to bed like that. 

....

I woke up like normal and got ready in my normal style of uniform. I meet with sousuke and do a little extra training before waking the rest and grabbing food. We go over our mission and i can feel Sousuke eyes on me but i dont turn to him. We get ready to leave and salute to the base when we get a certain distance away, its just a thing we did for luck. We headed out and chatted a little, well everyone else just chatted why i didnt really talk just listened like normal. 

I'm still worried about Normal, i dont want her dying i want to protect her. But i promised the captain to follow his missions then i can live with Norma freely so i must do these orders first. We see the town and let haru check it out before sneaking into a house and setting up. We leave haru in the house to snipe and cover our backs while the rest take over one house at a time.

It was going well and it was shocking how the town people was willing to work with us. A couple house we broke into with just normal scared town people would show us the house and tell us the number of soldiers the enemy had. We targeted the soldiers base's house and was willing, Soon after taking down four houses the rest surrender with ease. I was shocked by how many soldier was mostly old men or adults with no experience with war. We got told this town was a battle ground and they were monsters soldiers but this was easy. 

we, well i most walked around asking why it was so easy or why only these kind of soldiers was here. Most said another unit was here before but left yesterday morning just leaving these lot. I say my thanks and go report to my unit who was sitting in a house, telling then what the town people was saying and everyone knew why it was so easy.

"did you hear that rei, pass it to base" Nagisa says into the radio with a smile. "yep, good work boys, other units are on there way to pick up the enemy soldiers" rei speak from base and we all smile. "yo rin, i need we should check out the town and look for any clues where the enemy was heading, it could help win the war" Kisumi said with a grin and everyone agreed with him, well i just wanted to look for Normal.

"not a bad idea but we gonna need most of us staying here to keep an eye on the soldiers until another unit comes" rin says and everyone nodded. "why dont me and makoto go, we head back once makoto hears the unit and we strong enough to look after ourselves" sousuke said and rin smiled while nodding. "thanks" i say with a small smile and sousuke just winks at me. 

"lets go find your family" Sousuke smirks and i giggle. "yeah" i smile back and we both go asking the towns people if they see a girl like Normal. Luck was on our side, they said a women like her came last night but they weren't sure where she was kept in town. That was all i needed to hear and me and sousuke kept looking and asking. I knew the langue since i was once the enemy and lived in an enemy town, Sousuke knew a little but i helped teach him it fully so now he as good as me. "what will you do if we find her" sousuke ask as we look around an old house. "well i did our mission and the captain promised me i could leave and take her away so she could be free" I say and she the sadness in his eyes. "i always write to you and after i know she safe, can be happy and free. then i come back" i smile and Sousuke grins. "wont you want to stay with her and marry" Sousuke laughs and i smile.

"she family and i love her but i could never give her the life she deserves, plus I'm not the same boy she knew I'm sure she fear me" i frown and sousuke pasts my arm. "if she so important to you and stood by your side so long even in your tribe then I'm sure she never fear you" Sousuke smiles and i smile back, i hope he right. 

"do you having anyone" i ask as we check a new house. "i did but she wanted a life i could never give so she left" sousuke smile and i pat his arm. "well its her lost, they should be happy with your love and your ass" i smile and shock him a little. "your really like my ass, dont ya" sousuke grins and i nod. Like who wouldn't like his ass, have you seen that baby its good. No one in my tribe ever had such a perfect ass like sousuke, i be glad to protect it forever. 

"no wonder you can never pick up girls" Sousuke smirked and i roll my eyes. "fine i like your ass and that somehow keeps the girls away but what about you MR loner" i smirk and run out the door so he couldn't hit me. Sousuke is fun to be around and he makes me laugh so easy just like Norma. I hope i can always be his friend and i never lose him.
