Dear Xenophilius Lovegood,

It pains me to write this for an innocent man. You are so eccentric, but not in a bad way, of course. Your quirkiness seems like it would be endearing, if we weren't in our current conditions.

Look outside, past the dementors and past my walls. What do you see? A government so corrupt, and a world so distraught it seems as if our favourite novels have turned into a harsh reality.

Now look inside. What do you see? Innocent people galore, sobbing and shaking, staring at the ceiling, thinking that maybe if they die it will all be better.

Xenophilius, I'd say look me in the eyes, but I don't have any, so just promise me this; Don't lose your Xenophilius eccentricity when you leave here. I know we barely say this, but the world needs someone as idealistic as you to offset the reality we live in. 

(A/N: Update #2 on the Corona situation. I'm off (as in online classes) until April 20. That seems to far away, I can barely comprehend what's happening.

When will this just stop already? 2020 is officially a very crappy year.
