Sujoy's POV

" Manyata?? It's so good to meet you here."  I said. She was my best friend Sahil's wife.

" I work here. But what are you doing here??" She said with a smile.

"  I came to meet Srusti Mehra. But this gentleman is saying that there is no such girl here."  I told her.

" What?? Mohit?? " She looked at him but he was annoyed. She shook her head.

" You are here to meet Srusti?? Do you mind telling me, it is regarding what?? " Manyata asked me.

" No, I don't mind... Actually, my cousin, Viraj wanted me to meet Srusti and said that she is very a good girl and as it is high time that I should settle down, so I am here to meet her. "  I said and that man started panting with anger.

What was wrong with him?

" Oh!! Sujoy... There are complications. Please wait for some time, I would join you in 5 minutes.  Harry, please take him to the office and offer coffee. " She said to one of the men present there,  I smiled and went away with him.

He served coffee and cookies to me.

What the hell was going on?? Manyata joined me shortly.

" What is the matter? " I asked and before she could say anything, the door opened and Sahil walked in. 

I smiled and greeted him.

" Hey, Sahil !!! So good to see you after so long, yaar.  I had come to meet a girl named Srusti, but I am glad I met you and Manyata. I missed you.  "  I said embracing him.

" Good to see you too. I missed you too. Sujoy, listen... you can't meet her."  He said all of a sudden.

" Srusti ?? Why?? Viraj is adamant that I must meet her. He says she is a gem of a person. "  I said.

" Yes, she is... But you can't meet her." He said again.

" What is the problem, if she is so good?? "  I was getting confused.

" Trust me... Please, tell Viraj that you are not interested in her. "  Sahil insisted.

" But why?? At least let me meet, what would I say to Viraj?? He said she is just like his sister. " I argued.

Why was Sahil looking so tensed?

" Tell her she is too good for you. "  Sahil said and shrugged.

" Sahil, are you even listening, what you are saying?? If she is so good why can't I meet her??"  I asked as I was intrigued by all this.

" She is not meant for you. "  He said.

"  What kinds of a friend you are?? See I am 32 years old, my parents are after my life to get married. Why are you discouraging me? " I asked.

" Because you are a very good friend of mine and I don't want you to be beaten to a pulp. " He placed his hand on my shoulder and said.

" What?? who will beat me?? What is the problem?? "  I asked.

" Sujoy... " Sahil started speaking but his wife interrupted him.

" Both of you please shut up !!! " Manu shouted. 

" The problem is that she is married. To my best friend. He is madly in love with her, if you try to meet her, he would kill you. You just met them. The man who said there was no Srusti Mehra here is actually Mohit, Srusti's husband. " Manu said.

"  She is married?? Then why did Viraj ask me to meet her?  What is going on?? "  I asked. What the hell was going on?

" He is angry with Mohit. " She said.

" Wait let me talk to Viraj, how can he do that?? "  I was annoyed as hell.

I called Viraj and he explained everything and asked me to help him.  I agreed to it.

" Viraj told me that she got married but her husband is... in a relationship with someone else. He informed me that they are taking a divorce. So, I don't have a problem. "  I said.

" You don't have a problem? " Sahil asked.

"No, it's ok... they are taking divorce," I said with a smile.

" No, they are not... " Manyata said.

" They are not?? Why?? "  I was confused again.

" Sujoy, you are my friend, so trust me, I think you should go back. " Sahil said.

" I can't go without meeting her. Viraj would get annoyed. " I said.

" I can't let you meet her,"  Sahil said.

" Why?? "

" Because she is my sister. "

" How ?? "

" Long story... See, she is my sister and married Manu's best friend. He is raging like a bull right now. I don't want him to kill you. "  Sahil said.

" What is going on?? "  I almost shouted.

Sahil told me that Viraj was annoyed with his brother-in-law, Mohit and wanted to teach him a lesson. Hence he sent me to date Srusti to make Mohit feel jealous and learn his lesson well.

" There were a few misunderstandings. But they love each other. Please don't come between them. " Sahil said and I nodded. I was confused but as I trusted Sahil, I agreed to do what he said.

" Ok!! "  I said. Both Sahil and Manu took a deep breath.

" Hello, Mr Khanna... So you are here to go on a date with my wife?? "  Mohit said

" I am sorry, I didn't know that she was married. I will tell Viraj that I don't want to marry her as she is very sweet and simple. Not my type. "  I said.

" No!!  You tell him that you fell in love with her, the moment you saw her. So, you want to get married to her as soon as possible. " Mohit said with a smile.

" Mohit?? Are you out of your mind??" Sahil and Manu asked him in unison. They were shocked.

" No, call him and tell him you want to get married to her. " He insisted.

" Mr Mohit, what are you saying? I am sorry, I didn't know anything about her being your wife. "  I was surprised as well.

" Sahil, what happened to him? Do something... call Vikram bhai sa or even better call Gautam bhai. I think we need to get his head scanned. "  Manu said holding Sahil's arm.

" I am fine, cut the drama, Manu. Viraj is just playing a game to annoy me. Srusti had already made him understand. He has already forgiven me but he wanted to teach me a lesson. So he sent his cousin. "  Mohit said.

" What?? What an actor he is?? " Sahil said.

" Hmmm...  he made me so tensed that I could not even eat and sleep. Now it is a payback time. " Mohit said.

He was right, he should have told me everything. I would have helped him. How could he use me like this?
