Sujoy's POV

Just then there was a knock on the door and my PA walked in carrying two mugs of steaming coffee. I noticed the way she was looking at me.

She placed my coffee near my hand and she lightly brushed her body against my arm. She has been giving me a subtle hint that she was more than interested in an office romance.

I have been flirting lightly with her too, but we never crossed the line as I believe that one should not mix work and pleasure. She seemed to be inviting me with her body language but I ignored it as I didn't want any complications in my office.

" Sir, you had told me to book a table for dinner in your favourite restaurant. "

" Oh yes, I almost forgot about that thanks for reminding me. Please order some flowers and get them delivered to Ms Sandhu. I will text you her address. Please attach a sorry card to it.

I decided to call her and apologize for cancelling the date.  I had met her at a party last week and enjoyed her company. So I pressed dial on her number.  She picked up the call immediately.

" Hello! " She said in her bedroom voice.

Oh, God! I liked her voice. It turned me on...

" Hey, beautiful! I hope I didn't disturb you?? "

" Not at all... I was thinking about you. It is so good that you called. I think it is a positive sign. "

Oh, no!!! No signs, please...

" I beg to differ, sweetheart... I don't believe in destiny, signs and all those things. All I know is that my heart has been beating faster ever since I met you. I was looking forward to meeting you tonight but I am very disappointed that, I have to attend some family function, which can not be avoided. "

" Awww... I was so excited about our date today. "

" So was I sweetheart... So was I. But I guess, you can't avoid certain things." I said in a matter of fact tone.

" Certainly... "

" So tell me when can you meet me again? " I asked her.

" Maybe tomorrow ... "

" Oh... I was counting every hour and was looking forward to meeting you. Now, I have to wait for hours. " I said in my flirting mode.

" Oh, you are such a liar... " ooooh sexy voice. I am going to love her hear, screaming my name.

" No, I swear I have been thinking about you for the last few nights. I could not even sleep last night. I am yawning right now. I still remember how our bodies were pressed together while we danced at that party. We seem to be perfect for each other. " I said.

" You could not sleep last night because you were thinking about me?"

" Of course... I wanted to take you in my arms again. I loved the way your soft body felt against mine. "

" Awww... It's ok, we will meet tomorrow. Bye, see you tomorrow. "  She said.

" Bye sweetheart, think of me tonight as I would be doing the same. Good night. " I said and took a deep breath.

I texted her address to my PA  and went home after I bought lots of gifts and chocolates for Roohi and her cousins Raj and Ron. I also got Sia's favourite food items. The last time when she came home, I was out of Delhi. So today, I wanted to spend some time with her.

I reached home and saw Roohi's toy lying on the floor near the door. They had already come?? But their car was nowhere.

I ran inside and placed everything on the table and picked up my little doll,  Roohi. She was talking to dad.

" Maamu !! " She said and wrapped her tiny arms around me. I loved the feeling so much.

I hugged her and kissed her forehead and cheeks.

" Maamu, what are all these??  " She asked mischievously pointing towards the bags I got.

" Some gifts and lots of food for both my princesses. "  I said pinching her cheeks

" Both princesses?? "  She was confused.

" Sia and Roohi. "

" Mom is too big. I am your princess."  She said and I laughed at her cuteness.

" But she is my princess since she was as small as you. So she will remain my princess forever. Where is she? "

" With Nani JI (grandma). "

" Let's go !! " I went to my mom's room. Sia was sitting in bed with mom and Rohit was nowhere.

" Hey princess! " I said and went to hug her.

"  Bhai !! " She rushed towards me immediately.

" Take care !! " My mom shouted.

" Yes, mom !! I know... "  She said and hugged me.  I got very emotional all of a sudden. She was looking so cute and beautiful.  Her face was glowing.

" Finally, you got time to meet your brother? " I asked.

" Mom, look who is talking... "  Sia said rolling her eyes.

" Don't talk to me about him. "  Mom turned her face away.

" Mom !!"  We both said in unison.  I turned her face to look at me.

" I am only Sia's mom. " She said looking away from me.

" Mom !! She is here after so long,  please don't start again. " I said.

" Yeah, fine !! I will never talk to you again. After all, who am I to you?? "

" What have I done now?? "  I asked.

"   The problem is that you are not doing, what is to be done.  " Mom was being sarcastic again.

" Mom! Please don't spoil the day, I just met Sia and Roohi. "

" Sia is younger than you and see she is expecting again. "  She scolded me.

" Mom, what is the problem?  "  I asked.

" When will you marry??  After even Roohi is married. "

" Mom, that's a very good idea!  " I said and laughed but mom slapped on my upper arm.

" For god's sake, you are thirty-two. "  She said.

" Ok mom, please have mercy on Sia and Rohit. Hey, where is Rohit?? " I asked Sia.

" He has gone to select our anniversary cake, will be here very soon. "

" What?? Your anniversary is next week !! So why has he gone today? "  I said and just then Rohit walked in.
