" Please have a seat. "  I said and winked. She looked annoyed but beautiful...

My honey chilli potato... 

" What me? No way! "  Her eyes became wide as if she was scared just at the thought.

Did I say something so scary?

" Why not?? "  I asked her.

" I am not interested.  "

" In me or the food? " I asked.

" You!! And the food, only if, I have to share it with you."  She said bluntly.

" Awww... You are hurting me. " I said going very close to her. She moved back immediately. As if I was suffering from some contagious disease.

Why was she behaving like that?

" Mr Khanna, what is your problem? " 

My mind is stuck on you... I can't think of anything else these days.

" I’m not sure what it is yet, but something about you seems really interesting," I said with a smirk. She looked away, I was enjoying her uneasiness.

She didn't say anything,

" Please, try the food, I need to go home. "

" Ok, I will try as soon as my companion will join me. " I said pointing towards the chair.

" I am not your companion... "  She said immediately.

" I can't eat alone. "  I said with a naughty smile.

" You are the most obnoxious man I have ever met. I wish, I had not met you. " She said clenching her jaw but pulled the chair and sat on it.

" And you are the most interesting person, I have ever met. I wish I’d paid more attention to science in high school because you and I’ve got chemistry and I want to know all about it."  I said with a smirk.

" Shut your mouth and eat the food. Don't use your pick up lines on me. Just tell me, if you like the dishes or not... "

" How will I eat with a shut mouth? " I smirked at her.

" Mr Khanna, please don't try my patience, my working hours are over. I need to go home. "  She said in a higher tone.

" You are too eager to go home, don't tell me you have a lover boy waiting for you at your home! "  I asked.

I don't know why but I felt that if there was someone... He was very lucky.

That feeling annoyed me a bit.

" Maybe...  He might break your jaw for messing with me. "  She smiled at something and then became aloof and looked at me.

Oh!! Is it?? Let's see...

" Serve the food on our plates, please," I  said and she glared at me but finally, she served the food on my plate.

" I will not taste, till you sit here and have food with me. "  She was fuming by now. But she served on her plate too.

" So, what is this?? " I asked pointing towards the kebabs there were two types of kababs. She Started telling me but I kept looking at her lips which looked like soft rose petals.  I could not take my eyes off her lips.

She cleared her throat and I looked away from her.

I tasted the kebabs. They were crisp on the outside and soft from inside. Just perfect.

" Try it, "

" I don't want to eat anything. "

" Why?? Are you so contended to see me eating?? Awww... How flattering it is. But I told you, I can't eat alone, now eat food with me or I will keep sitting here. You had to go home to your lover boy too, right? " I asked and she tasted one bite.

" So, these two kababs can be added to the list. I will provide you with a list of all the things which I will prepare for you to taste. You can make a choice and let me know. "

" Perfect!! " I said with a smile.

She served me another dish and an interesting looking salad in a packed cup with a matching fork.

" Try the burritos and salad in a cup. They are healthy and easy to handle.

I was not much into salads and healthy food. Being a pure Punjabi, I have always been a big time foodie. 

But I didn't want her to think that I found the salads very boring.

" Please cut this wrap into two, I will taste it only if you taste it too. "  I said.

" Mr Khanna, I am not hungry. "

" I can't eat food when my date is not eating anything. " I said looking into her beautiful eyes.

She rolled her eyes and cut it into two. She gave me three fourth of that and served the rest of it on her plate.

She was waiting for me to taste it but I was ogling at her.

" What are you waiting for?? " She asked with a sarcastic smile.  But I guess, she was irritated as hell.

" You haven't tried it yet... " I said with a smile.

" Ughhh!! I... Ok fine!! I am tasting it." She took a small bite glaring at me, she was losing her mind.

Somehow, I liked this feisty side of hers more than the calm and composed one.

So, I took a bite of it and was lost in the flavours of the wrap. It was awesome...

" I added the kidney beans and the veggies and......" I was looking at her and was enjoying the food made by her.  She was saying something but I was oblivious of that.

" Mr Khanna?? "

" Yes? "

" So what do you think about it? "

" Hmmm, very nice. Let's try everything first. "

" Ok, try the salad. "

" First you try that! "

" What is your problem?? I told you I don't want to eat "

" I don't want to take any risk. "

" What risk?? "

" As much as you are annoyed with me, I am scared for my safety. So, I am just being cautious by making you eat first. "  I said and she was looking at me as if I was a weirdo.

" You are impossible. " She said.

" Oh, I am very much possible, darling. All you have is to say. "  I said with a smile.

" Shut up! "  She said and tried the salad and pointed towards the one on my plate. I closed my eyes and took a few things towards my mouth and tasted it. But seriously it was not that bad.

She had added some fruits to it to which made it taste good.  She seemed to have magical fingers...

I looked at her long and dainty hands. Beautiful!!!

How would those fingers feel on my bare skin??

Shit!!!

" Mr Khanna?? "

" Are you even listening?? Where do you go when you look like that?? "

Don't even ask that...
