Sebastian walked in the Lima Bean with so many things on his mind, one of them being Rachel and his three year old son who he loves a lot. He had just been to see his dad at his office which made everything worst for him, because of how much he hates his dad, and even hates Hiram Berry which is a long and painful story. His heart ached for the girl of his dreams and his son and to be with, but he can't be with them because of his father and Hiram and them especially Hiram paying him to stay away which he accepts. No-one knew the truth not even his mum, Leroy, Skylar or Rachel or Marley knew, no-one knew and no-one was allowed to know. But he did make sure that his brother was Eli's god father, and with Skylar now dating Rachel's sister, he now hopes that Skylar will get to meet his nephew/god son. He wasn't keeping his brother away from his nephew.

Sebastian was late meeting his best friend Thaddeus Harwood because of his dad Charles, but he had to lie to Harwood so he didn't find out the truth. Sebastian down across from Thad and Thad immediately spoke

"Smythe. So how's Rachel?" Sebastian was confused, he didn't see Rachel at all

"What do you mean how's Rachel?" Thad gave him a knowing look

"You're late meeting up with me, and the only person besides me and Clarington that you are only ever around is Rachel." At those words Sebastian remembered what he had told Thad. That he was meeting up with Rachel and lost track of time. It was the only thing that he could think of without him prying and questioning why he was seeing his own father.

"She's okay." he hopes she is anyway. and hopes his son is okay too. Sebastian will do anything to see them, and hug them both. 

Thad was worried for his friend, and with how Sebastian said Rachel was okay, he wasn't convinced and said

"That didn't sound convincing. Spill." Thad knew Sebastian is a dad to a three year old, and also knew that Sebastian was planning to ask her to marry him but never did, he always assumed that Rachel said no, which surprised him because he knows how much Rachel loves Sebastian. 

Sebastian couldn't tell his best the truth, no matter how much he wanted to do so.

"It's nothing, don't worry about Harwood." It pained Sebastian to say that as he wanted to tell him everything but he couldn't as Hiram could send Rachel and Eli both away from him, an aspect he only just found out from seeing his father.

 Thad sighed and said

"You know I'm going to worry, because Rach is basically my sister, and you are best friend." An aspect Sebastian is truly grateful for, but knew that if he knew he truth, Thad would be angry at the whole situation and for hurting Rachel and what their dads are doing, especially with breaking Rachel's and his own heart. As Thad is really protective of Rachel after all the bully she suffered in high school.

"I know Harwood, but trust me it's nothing, and nothing to worry about." Thad knew not to press anymore, but was still worried about his friend. Out of him and Hunter. Thad is the closest to Sebastian, even if they disagree at times.

"If you say so Smythe. I'm always here." Sebastian gave a small smile

"I know and I'm grateful for that." Thad gave a reassuring smile to his best friend

"Good. Now you owe me a drink." Sebastian and Thad both stood up to leave the Lima Bean and Sebastian smirked as they were walking out of the coffee shop and said

"Since when I do owe you a drink."

Meanwhile Rachel was home watching a movie, as her dad Hiram just left, when she hears

"Mummy, I can't sleep." Rachel paused what she was watching, turned and walked over to Eli and said

"Why can't you sleep my beautiful boy?" Eli hugged Rachel when she kneeled to his height and said

"I had a bad dream. please call daddy to come and you both can make the bad dream go away." Rachel knew Sebastian wouldn't come, as he never does. But she didn't want to say that to Eli. She'll do anything for her son, even call his dad when she knew he wouldn't come. Rachel gently pulled apart the hug with Eli to call Sebastian. 

Rachel hoped that this time Sebastian would come, but in her heart she knew. She knew he wouldn't come. He hasn't been there at all, he hasn't stepped up, It's all been Rachel. It's always been Rachel. Hunter and Marley help when they can but it's mainly her. and she knows her dad Leroy wants to help, but for some reason her dad Hiram won't let him help, which upsets her a lot, because out of her dads, Rachel is more closer to Leroy than she is with Hiram. But her dad wasn't going to stop her from telling her son all about Sebastian and the good man he is, even if he isn't there. 

As truth be told Rachel still loved Sebastian, and to keep everything private for Eli's sake, she doesn't tell anyone who Eli's father is, but she made a promise to herself that she will tell Sebastian's little brother Skylar because after all Sebastian made her promise that Skylar was the god father and knew his nephew, and it was a promise that Rachel was always going to keep for him, and knew that Skylar had a right to know that his older brother is a dad to a three year old little boy who looks just like him.

Rachel heard the soft hello and said to Sebastian on the other end in hopes for the sake of their son who still holds out hope that his dad will come and they will be a proper family together

"Hey can you come over. Eli wants to see you before he sleeps. He had a bad dream."
