Parting is Such Sweet......

I walked outside with my master and watched as they lowered her casket into the ground. I glanced at the gravestone that my young master had chosen. The day that he had it engraved, he found a note  on top of her bed. He put what she wrote on her gravestone.

Here Lies
(F/n) (L/n).

"Sometimes we have to let the things we love the most go.
Sometimes they come back,
But sometimes they stay lost forever.
I will never lose the memories I have of us."

The original note was shaky and had some random letters capitalized. I watched silently as they put the dirt over the box and soon after they all scattered. I stayed, staring at the ground as if she was going to appear out of the ground. The young master had gone into the mansion hours ago and finally came back out. He silently stared with me for a minute then spoke, "I should fire you for being late with my dinner." he mumbled. I nodded, a tear escaping my eye. 'Why would she just leave a not and think that it was okay to-..." I stopped dead in my thoughts. I quickly turned to the young master. "Where is the note that she left?!" I asked. He took a step back. "I put it in her casket!" he said, startled and putting his hands up like he was innocent. I grabbed a shovel and started to unbury her. "Sebastian! What are you doing?!" He asked. I reached her casket in a flash, pulling it out of the ground. I threw open the lid and took the letter out. I opened it and read it over again.

"SometimeS we have to let thE things we lovE most go.
Sometimes theY cOme back,
BUt sometimes they stay lost forever.

I will never lose the memories I have of us."

As I read, I noticed a tiny arrow in the bottom corner of the page, instructing the reader to turn it over. I saw a small portion covered in white-out. I scratched it off carefully and read the rest.

"But sometimes you just have to Look cArefully for Them.
ThEy may oR may not be hidden in plain site."

I put all of the random capital letters together and dropped the paper to the ground. I was now staring at the body that was laying in the casket. Smiling back up at me.

"SEE YOU LATER"
