Akainu & Kizaru

Fae POV

No, it’s not possible. I tried to blink the nightmare away from my eyes but Leon was still laying in a puddle of his own blood. “Leon, get up! Why are you laying down like your about to die, you idiot! Get up!” I screamed at him but didn’t so much as move. My legs felt like jelly but I forced myself to run to his side, collapsing down beside him as I quickly placed my shaky hands on his bloody, burnt chest.

“Titus, I need you to watch my back while I work on him.” I pleaded with him, trying to keep my emotions in check but he just stared down at Leon who was teeter tottering between life and death.

“Angel, I don’t think-"

“Titus. . please. . help me.” I begged him and he took one glance at my face before sighing and nodding his head. “We don’t have much time before the enemy barges in here to finish him off but I’ll try to buy as much time as I can.”

“Thank you.” I sputtered as I moved my hands around Leon’s body. Here. . no here. I bit down on my quivering lip when I realized that several of his vital organs have been damaged and he was dying faster then I could heal him.

No. Please no.

“Your going to be okay just please, hold on a little longer Leon.” I cried out as my teardrops mixed in with his blood but he wasn’t responding back to me as his face became paler by the second.

“No! No! No!” His whole body was coated in a glowing gold of light but his wounds weren’t closing fast enough. “Why isn’t he healing?!” I screamed at the top of lungs as my rose gold dress soaked up Leon’s blood, staining my dress red.

I squeezed my eyes shut tight, trying to concentrate harder on healing him when I felt a larger hand brush my cheek. My eyes shot open and Leon had a soft smile resting on lips. “It’s nice to know you still care enough to cry for me.” He joked, trying to mask the pain he was in. “But I must look really pathetic in your eyes right now.” He cringed in pain and I knew he was clinging to life by a thread.

“Don’t be ridiculous! You came to rescue me after all awful things I said to you. .” I whimpered, as my tears continued flowing down my cheeks. “None of this would have happened if I just listened to you and stayed on the island.”

Leon’s eyes flung open as he glared up at me, “don’t be stupid. This isn’t your fault. .” his voice was hard but his breathing was ragged and uneven. “If you want to blame someone, blame me.” He faintly whispered and his heart began to slow down with every breath he took. “You need to leave and go with Katakuri and the others before-” blood spewed from his mouth and his wounds gusted back open.

“Stop talking! You need to save your strength!” I cried out, knowing if I stopped healing him even for a second, he’ll die.

Don’t panic and think, Fae. I told myself as I stared down at Leon who was on the verge of passing out from the significant amount of blood he lost. I gritted my teeth together as sweat dripped down my temple.

I have to try it but. . if I fail Leon will surely die but his wounds are to severe for me to continue doing it like this. The only thing I’m doing is just buying him a few more spare moments of life. . I don’t have a choice, I have to do it.

I took my hands off Leon, placing my palms close together as I focused all my healing energy in the center of my palms, draining every ounce of my healing abilities into a small ball of gold light. If I get hurt before I can recuperate. . I won’t be about to heal myself or anyone for that matter. It’s risky but I have to do it. The ball of light dispirited going straight into Leon’s body and instantly all his wounds began to shrink until they were completely closed, leaving nothing more than faint scars.

I let out a sigh of relief, he’s out of immediate danger but he’s not in the clear yet. Cannon fire exploded outside and gun fire rang in the air as people tired to escape off the island. I got to get him somewhere safe before whoever done this to him comes looking for him but who’s strong enough to be able to do this much damage to Leon to begin with?

Every hair on my body stood up when I sensed someone coming towards me with a murderous intent to kill. I quickly put up a barrier to protect us but I knew it was weak without infusing my healing abilities with it.

Sweat dripped down my spine as a man in a red suit with tattoos of purple flowers on his neck came striding towards me with blood lust oozing from his eyes. He was covered in blood and I wasn’t sure if any of it actually belonged to him but my heart pounded even faster when I noticed he wasn’t alone.

A tall man in a yellow and orange strip suit, was following beside him and both there eyes were locked on Leon who was unconscious at the moment.
I quickly gazed around the room for Titus but he was no where in sight and fear quickly crept in when I realized they had to get passed him.

“What have you done to Titus?!” I yelled out, taking a defensive stance behind the barrier as I narrowed my eyes at them, knowing if they hit the barrier with enough force it’ll shatter into pieces.

Both men ignored me as the man in the yellow and orange strip suit pointed a finger towards my direction and a small light forward at the tip of his finger.

I felt my eyes widen when a shot of light extracted from his finger, shattering my barrier of ice with ease. I quickly turned the ice that was falling on us into liquid as I wrapped it around myself like a snake ready to use it as a weapon if need be but both men didn’t so much as bat an eye.

Leon you moron. . you took both these men on all on your own, didn't you. I glanced down at him for a split second before I focused back on the men in front of me.

“Wait, isn’t she that girl we’ve been looking for?. . But wait, wasn’t she Theo’s date?” The man hummed in curiosity as he glanced from me to Leon. “I’m confused but I’m more confused on why she’s protecting her pursuer.”

The man in the red suit snarled in detest, “Kizaru, don’t ask such pointless questions but Theo does have a lot of explaining to do.” He hissed, glaring over at me.

“You don’t have to be so mean, Akainu. She isn’t our enemy but she is standing in our way.” The man call Kizaru, sounded conflicted but his eyes were very lucid.

“Girl, I’m only going to tell you this once. I have no interest in you and I can care less on why your protecting your enemy but if you insist on standing in my way. I won’t hesitate on killing you along side him.” Akainu claimed but I didn’t so much as move an inch. “If you think I’m just going to move aside and allow you to kill my brother in front of me then your sadly mistaken.” I ranted, readying myself for an attack.

Both their eyes widen in shock for a moment before gaining their composure back, “Brother huh? Well, I wasn’t expecting that but it doesn’t matter. Your brother is a first class criminal and being related to a monster isn’t a crime but standing in our way is.” Kizaru stated dully but I refuse to budge.

Akainu let out a sigh of annoyance as he crossed his arms, tilting his head down. “Your loyalty for him is admirable but your choosing death for scum that isn’t worthy of living.” His brown eyes held a foul amount of hatred as his lip curled into a snarl. “From what little I know, Leon was supposedly a failed experiment. A mistake that needs to be corrected by the Government.” He boasted with arrogance as heat radiated off him with magma flowing down his body.

I narrowed my eyes dangerously over at him as darkness swarmed around me and water slowly flowed into the castle little by little. “Your hatred is repulsive and your words carry no meaning, not only do you not have a right to decide who is worthy of living but you have no right to call Leon a mistake.” I hissed, ripping half my dress off, “I may not know all the crimes my brother has committed but I know him well enough to know he does nothing without a good reason behind it.” Venomous words rolled off my tongue as the island trembled beneath our feet and savage roars echoed into castle.

Both men paused for a second and Kizaru’s eyes gazed from me to the sound of Sea King’s raging outside and his lips pursed together as if he was trying to contain his amusement, “oh, I see. . you just might be the scariest monster here but still, a pretty girl like yourself shouldn’t make such a scary face.” His actions and words were sluggish as he let out a sigh, “now what should we do next. Should we kill you then Leon or should we keep you alive and just kill Leon.” He scratched the top of his head as if this was a hard decision for him to make, “what to do, what to do.” Once again he sounded conflicted but his eyes were just as cold as Akainu’s.

It was clear that I was at a disadvantage and they knew that, not only will I have to fend off two powerful men but I have to protect Leon on top of that. I gritted my teeth together, trying to wrack my mind around what my next move should be but it didn’t help that every instinct in my body was telling me not to let my guard down for an instant.

My mind was racing on how I should proceed next but familiar voices reached my ears and after a silent moment, a soft smile rose onto my lips.
