(Y/n POV)

I was walking on my way home from work as I feel the cold air on my face

I had a long day and I just wanted to go home and watch some Skitsofanacts videos 

I was 18 at the time and I finally graduated high school

I get home and walk in the door to be greeted by my little brother Christopher

I look down at him with his short curly blond hair and bright blue eyes, he was adorable, then again hes only 8 so it might not last long

"(Y/n)! Guess what!" He says

"What is it bro?" I say as I hang up my jacket

"Mum got you a gift!" He says hopping up and down

"Cool," I say

"But she didn't get me one," he says as he stops hopping up and down

"Aww bro I'm sorry, if I can I'll share the present," I say and his face lights up

"Thanks sis!" He says hugging  me and I hug him back

"No problem, tell mum if she  needs me I'm in my room," I say as I head upstairs

Once I arrive in my room I plop down on my bed and get my laptop and open it going straigh to YouTube

I go to the Skitsofanacts channel and start to watch a few of there videos

As I'm watching the videos I  hear my phone go off and I look at it to see it's a text from my best friend Tekla (if your name is Tekla just change the name, sorry)

Tekla was my gbf a.k.a. my gay best friend, although she was actually bisexual and I was pansexual, but me and her both know I'm gayer

I open the message and read it

Tekla: Hey dude guess what

(Y/n): what?

Tekla: I got tickets to ConnectiCon!!!

(Y/n): OMG REALLY?! THAT'S AMAZING!!!

I then hear my mum call me from downstairs and tell Tekla I got to to

I run downstairs and go to the kitchen where my mum was waiting

She gives me a smile as she places a box on the table by me before speaking

"This is your early birthday present," she says and I open the box and then squeal

"Omg mum these are tickets to ConnectiCon!" I say jumping up and down

"I had no clue," she says sarcastecaly as I give he a hug

"Now I can go with Tekla!" I say again

"Well that's lovely, that means I won't have to drive you," she says letting out a light laugh

"Wait!" I say and my mum gives me a face asking 'what?' " We have to drive?!"

"Well you can if you want, I was gonna give you some plain tickets to you're aunts and let you stay there then you can drive from he place to the con," she says

"But that's still a long drive," I say

"Well would you rather drive from hear to the con?"she asks

"No no no it's fine thanks mum," I say heading upstairs

Well at least I didn't have to drive from Toronto to the con all the way in America (Sorry sorry if you don't live in Canada but hey that's how the storeys gonna go)

I then get to my room and text Tekla telling her the news and I also let her know she's aloud so come with me to my aunt's

Once I'm done that I go back to watching Skitsofanacts videos

Around about 2 in the morning I realize I have 3 days till the con so I go to fucking bed so I don't miss the chance at sleep

~time skip~

I'm woken up by a very happy Christopher

"Brooo I'm sleeping," I conplayn and he starts talking

"We get to go to aunt Hannah's!" He yells in joy

"I know," I mumble

"And mum says I get to go on a train with you!" He says

"Good no plains for you," I say

"Why not?" He wines

"You know why I don't trust plains, no one likes thoes peanuts," I say jokingly knowing it will make him laugh 

"You make no sense (n/n) (Nick name)," he says

"Thanks bro," I say as I sit up "I gotta get ready, how bout you go pack your stuff for aunt Hannah's," I say to him and he jumps off my bed and heads towards his room

I go and grab some clothes before heading to the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth and stuff

~time skip~

I go back in my room and go sit on my bed and check my phone

There was no notifications so I had nothing to do

"(Y/n)!" I hear my mum yell from downstairs so I go to see what it is

"Yeah mum?" I say walking into the kitchen

"Hey sweety, so there's a little change of planes, you're going to be going to your aunts tomorrow," she says

"When?" I ask

"Well you have to be on the train by 7:00 am," she says

"Well, good thing my stuff for the con is packed, I just need some extra clothes and I'm good," I say

"Yep, also make sure you tell Tekla so she knows, and then go help your brother pack so he has everything he needs for your aunts house," she says

"Okie," I say going to leave but my mum stops me

"One more thing sweety," she says and I look towards her "Austin's going to be looking after you and Tekla at the con," she says

"What?! No no no he cant go," I say not wanting him to go

"He's your older brother and he said he wanted to go to make sure you guys are safe, he won't hang out with you he'll just check in on you and he won't even have the same hotel room," she says

"Fine," I say leaving the room and going to help Christopher

I wasn't to happy about my older brother Austin going but he's only a year older than me, 19, so I guess he won't be to strict
