Chapter 6

"Hey!" I grinned, as I opened the door.

Ludwig was stood outside, dressed in a black v-neck shirt (collerbones on point), a dark green militarian style jacket and a pair of black skinny jeans. All of his clothes seemed to be rather dark and simple, which completely contrasted my style of clothing.

I ushered Ludwig inside, a bright smile on my face.

"I guess the polite thing to do would be to offer you a drink, I guess." I said thoughtfully.

"I'm alright, thanks." Ludwig replied.

I beamed again. "Okay, make yourself at home! Oh, and throw your shoes and bag anywhere. I'm not really bothered."

"Something tells me your house is going to be just as wayward as you are." The German chuckled, slipping off his shoes and putting them on the rack. "Oh my lord..."

I turned my attention to where Ludwig's gaze was placed; the shoe rack.

"Eh? What?" I laughed, a little confused.

"How... how does one person have so many shoes?" The blonde was at a loss.

I rolled my eyes, and began pointing at some of the shoes.

"Well, they're the summer and spring shoes, and those are autumn and winter. Those are for when I'm wearing shorts, those are knee highs for when I wanna feel sassy... It's all just preferences." I explained.

"I'm going to pretend that I know what you're talking about." The German chuckled, and I giggled a little as well.

"Okay, okay." I began, as I wandered into the kitchen and opened a cabinet. "I got a bit more than popcorn by the way."

"You really did." Said a bewildered Ludwig.

Smiling, I reached up and took down multiple bags of popcorn and chocolate and sweets and ice cream and drinks... no regrets.

Eventually, I laid down all the (regreatable) food, and brought up Netflix on my (kinda massive pricey flatscreen) TV, aimlessly stretching my legs out.

I glanced over at Ludwig, who appeared to be gazing around my apartment (which, by the way, was kind of fancy. Remember the whole Roderich is rich thing?), taking in his surroundings.

"Come sit!" I beckoned, patting the spot next to me. "Literally, please don't try to be polite or anything because I'm not good at that stuff..."

"Fair enough. It's sort of hard to be polite around you, anyways." Ludwig said, sliding onto the sofa next to me.

I pouted at him a little, crossing my arms in mock offense. "What do you mean by that?"

Ludwig chuckled softly again. "Nothing, there's just waves of boundless energy to keep up with."

This time I grinned proudly, happy to have made Ludwig laugh. Well, happy to have made him sort of chuckle quietly a little bit. But I was getting used to that chuckle, it was like Ludwig's signature little thing.

"Oh, and also," I smiled. "Please don't judge me if I'm scoffing food. I wont judge you."

"Seems fair. Anyways, what are we watching?" The blonde asked.

"Uhhhh...."  I pronlonged the sound, flicking through a couple of suggestions. "Oh! Please, please can we watch Alladin?"

"I had you pegged as a Disney person." Ludwig smiled thoughtfully. "So, yes. Alladin it is."

"Yay!" I cheered happily as I selected the movie, then reached out to the lightswitch, flicking them off. "The art of immersion. Also you can't see me eating so yeah."

"I don't mind either way, Feliciano."

I smiled at Ludwig's words, the focused on the movie as the Disney logo popped up on screen. When you wish upon a star... I bit my lip in the darkness and squeezed my eyes shut for a couple of seconds.

And in the seconds I wished that I would get to stay with Ludwig, maybe even forever.
